Trying A Whole New Line Of Hair Care Products... | Ft. Luxy Hair

Still sealed: let's smell it, it smells so good, hey everyone! It'S ariel welcome and welcome back to my channel. I'M super excited for this video because i got this package from luxie. I'Ve been waiting and waiting for the right time to film this video. Finally, the day is here in this box: we have all kinds of goodies. Look at this. You guys shampoos, hair oil, heat, protectant, conditioner, a hair mask, oh and, of course, the luxy hair comb, which is in this beautiful little pouch. I mean how beautiful is this amazing, so this right here is the new line of luxie hair care products. All of these products are new to me. I'M so excited to just try all of them so before we actually get into trying these products out, which i'm so excited for. I do want to give a big shout out to luxy hair, because this video is not sponsored, but they were kind enough to send me these products for free to try them, and now i get to share them with you guys so big shout out, lexie hair. You guys know, even though i am a partner with them. I am also just a huge fan of their brand. All of their products like i just love everything they're doing so thank you to luxie hair, but other than that. I think we should just get right to the good stuff which is trying out these products, so, let's get to it. Okay, currently in my shower now, my hair really needs to be washed, so i'm excited to use these first two products which are the balancing purple shampoo and the length repairing hair masks. Also, how cute are these bottles like? I really love them and i feel, like luxie, always hits the nail on the head with the design and like the packaging. They always do an amazing job. I'M just gon na get right into it. I'M gon na just go ahead and dampen dampen my hair, so that i can start with the shampoo. So if you guys don't know, purple shampoo is meant to tone. Grassy hair shower novel is being really rude. I know my hair is color treated and has been bleached, so it does tend to be on the more brassy side. So i'm hoping that this purple shampoo will at least tone it down a little bit. I'M not expecting it to completely like get rid of my brassy tones, because, honestly, my hair does just need to be colored. Normally a purple shampoo needs to sit in your hair for a few minutes and it does say on this one to rinse thoroughly after three to five minutes. So i'm just gon na go ahead and use it um. I yeah, i don't know, i will see how this goes. I guess i do want to smell it. First though it's very pigmented kind of was not expecting it to be that dark, but that's actually a good thing means it'll have more power. So here we go. Oh, my goodness, this is dark. It smells super good. It smells like kind of florally, but it's very light like it's not overpowering, it smells really nice. It has a really good lather, which is good a lot of the purple. This actually went away when it turned into suds, which is kind of interesting. I'M really interested to see what this does to my hair, i'm gon na. Let it sit now for three to five minutes like it says on the bottle, all right guys. It'S been about three minutes and i think i'm just gon na rinse it out now. I could wait another couple minutes, but honestly, i'm just staggering - and i also did want to mention that my hair is not blonde and this shampoo is kind of for blonde hair. So, even though my hair is bleached and has been lightened, it's not so light to the point where it could like drastically change my hair color, i'm hoping to get a little bit of a shift in like the brassiness tone. Hopefully that makes sense, but i did just want to mention that this will definitely work better on actual blonde hair. But anyway, let's just rinse this out. Okay, my hair feels nice and clean. I'M surprised it doesn't feel more dry, like honestly, usually when i use a purple shampoo. It'S like my hair feels like straw after and my hair actually doesn't feel that bad at all. So that's a plus. Now it is time for the hair mask length, repairing hair mask, i'm really excited for this one. You guys know. I love a good hair mask still sealed, let's smell it. Ah, it smells so good. Oh, my goodness, it smells like vanilla, cookies, okay! Well, now, i'm even more excited so right off the bat. It'S pretty thick has a good consistency, guys it smells amazing. Oh my goodness, it's very creamy, very moisturizing and i mean look, i'm able to detangle my hair already. That doesn't always happen so far. I am impressed, i have to say, especially after using a purple shampoo like this is actually really impressive, deluxey cloud comb. This is also a newly released luxie product and i'm definitely a fan. I mean it's just a wide-toothed comb, but it's aesthetic. So that's what makes it special, but it's the perfect time to use a wide tooth foam to distribute my mask through, and i actually notice a difference when i don't do this like when i don't thoroughly comb or brush my mask through. I notice that, like it feels like my hair, didn't fully get the proper amount of conditioning. You know what i mean okay, so now i'm just gon na. Let it sit normally. I would just let it sit for the maximum amount of time, which i think is 20 minutes on the back of the bottle. But i think today, i'm just gon na leave it in for the rest of my shower, which will probably be around like 10 minutes and then i'll, just rinse the mask out and go to styling time to rinse out my hair mask my hair feels so soft Moisturized like it feels honestly so good, i'm very impressed like thoroughly thoroughly impressed. I'M really excited to style it so yeah, i'm just gon na rip this out and then we will move on to styling all right. You guys i'm back in my living room now and it's time to style this hair. I haven't even taken it out of this yet so i'm really excited to see how it looks. What wait, how does it have this much shine and bounce? Oh, my okay. Okay, dang lexi, i'm actually like. I don't know what to say. I'M gon na move to styling products. I have the luminous shine, hair oil here and then i have the heat protectant primer, i'm gon na be blowing out my hair and straightening. It usually i'll use a leave-in conditioner and a heat protectant, but today i feel like my hair is like moisturized enough from just the shower routine that i think i can get away with just doing a little bit of this oil and then going over top of It with the heat protectant, so that is what i'm gon na do, i'm so excited to open this oil. Up, like i have been i've, been seeing all over lexi's social medias and i've just been dying to try it. Let'S first do the smell test. It smells exactly like the hair mask amazing. My hair is going to smell like a dream. After this, it's a really nice bottle, of course, and design and okay before i actually use this. I want to read some of these ingredients to you guys because when i first saw this, i was like these are all in here: coconut oil, avocado oil, canola oil, olive oil, jojoba seed oil, olive fruit, oil kakui, nut oil, grape seed oil, argan oil, apricot oil. Citrus oil rosa canina fruit oil, which i'm pretty sure is rosehip seed oil. Those are all in here. All of those are in this one product. How is that possible? This is like every oil you could ever want to use on. Your hair is all in here. Amazing, so let's try this oil out. It says on the back to apply one to two drops to damp or dry hair. So two drops see if it's enough there's no way. No, i'm definitely gon na need more than two drops. I just did like half a dropper okay, so oil is in now i'm gon na go in with the heat, protectant primer spray. There we go. Okay, this one smells a little bit different, a little bit more citrusy. Maybe it smells good, though now i'm going to detangle my hair, i'm just going to stick with the luxie comb and now it's time to style. So, like i said, i'm going to be straightening my hair. I think i'm going to go with my revlon one step today, um. I will link a video here that shows me like using it, because i don't want this video to be too long. First section done so far, my hair feels really soft. It feels really good. I love how much volume this hairbrush gives me. Ah, okay, bang section and then we're done volume baby. I literally look like pharah faucet right now. This is crazy. I want to do a middle part actually, but guys my hair feels so soft. It feels so like light and airy, and i'm kind of shocked honestly that, like i'm just, i wasn't expecting this good of results from these products. For some reason, i don't know why, but yeah i'm gon na grab my flat iron finish this style up. This video is probably gon na be an hour long. All right, you guys. I just finished touching up my hair with the flat iron. It has a lot of volume, it has a little bit of a curl. I did also add a bit more of the lexi oil over top of the finished style, just to get rid of any flyaways that i might have. But this is the finished look. I wasn't expecting such good results with these products. I think just because my hair is so naturally dry and a lot of products out. There just add to the dryness and don't fully hydrate my hair, so i feel like with that in mind. I was kind of expecting more along the lines of those results, but honestly, my hair feels really soft and it feels lightweight, but it feels hydrated. At the same time, it feels good, and especially with the fact that i used a purple shampoo, like my hair, always feels like crap after using a purple shampoo, and it didn't after this one feel like it didn't do a whole bunch to my hair, like to The tone of it, but i do feel like it did it did brighten it a little bit like it did, shift it a tiny bit, which is honestly all that i was expecting out of that purple shampoo. If anything. So i'm happy with that. I'M happy it didn't dry. My hair out like crazy, like every other purple shampoo i've tried um the hair mask was amazing. It smells so good. Like my hair, my hair literally smells like candy, like it smells so freaking good and then the oil it has the same scent as the hair mask. So it also smells amazing has so many good ingredients in there. So i love that. I'M definitely gon na be using this a lot. I because i can use this on curly hair. I can use this on straight hair. I can use this like all the time and i know i will so that's definitely a favorite. I love the heat protectant and i've been really wanting to try a new heat protectant. So i'm really happy about this as well, and overall i mean i just i'm so happy with all the products and i'm just surprised happily surprised that it gave me such good results. I'M definitely interested to see what the line of products will do to my hair when it's curly um. So i don't know if i'll make a video on that. Let me know if that's something you guys would be interested in seeing, but obviously the results would be different if i'm just like air drying or diffusing my hair, rather than blowing it out and straightening it, but yeah. Overall, i'm really happy with how my hair turned out i'm happy with what the products did to my hair and also really excited to try the other products that i haven't tried yet, which are these two here, the short charcoal detox shampoo and the high gloss smoothing Conditioner i didn't use either one of these two because i felt like the detox shampoo might be a bit too drying for my hair, and i also just really wanted to try the purple shampoo and then the conditioner i didn't use, because i thought my hair would Be a little bit on the dry side after the purple shampoo, so i went straight to the hair mask, but i think i'm going to try these on my hair extensions. Let me know if you guys want a video on that, because these actually are formulated for hair extensions and they are also safe to use on your own hair. So definitely we'll be using these in a different video i didn't get to today. Unfortunately, but i did get to try the majority of the new products, so i'm really happy with how this turned out.
