Hi guys is Jessie here, I'm back with another video, and today's video is gon na be a little bit different. I have a haul for you, but it is items that I haven't hauled on my channel in a very long time. Today'S video is gon na be a haircare haul, so I have some hair products. I have some hair tools and some little hair accessories and things, and I wanted to share this with you, because I have gotten so many compliments on my last few videos, where I've worn my hair down. I for years now have done nothing with my hair other than just pull it back away from my face, and this year I really wanted to start taking better care of my hair with various products, but also just wearing it down more years and years of wearing Tight buns and ponytails and things have really damaged my hair. I'Ve had a lot of breakage, so I'm just trying to take care of the health of my hair and also just every time I wear my hair down. I get a zillion compliments. I think it's just because it's so drastic of a change from seeing everything pulled back really tightly to all of a sudden. All my hair is like you know, down and loose, and it's just so drastic of a change that people comment on it, but regardless whatever it is, I'm really appreciative of all of your comments. Thank you guys so much for that, and I wanted to buy some tools and things to help me take care of my hair. So whenever I am in need of anything always the first place that I go is Amazon, so I picked up most of these items from Amazon, but I also picked up a few things in store at Walmart. So without further ado, let's go ahead and get into it so that this video isn't super long. So the very first thing that I purchased to help on my haircare journey - I guess, is a tool that I have seen all over YouTube for quite a while now and I wasn't sure if I needed it because most of the time in the past, I have Just let my hair air dry, I have very curly wavy hair. It'S it's very naturally curly when it's shorter. When I have the long length like I do now, it weighs it down more and it's more wavy, but that's sort of my natural hair state and if I just wash and dry and let my hair go and don't put any products in it. It sort of gets that wave, it gets pretty frizzy, but when 99 % of the time I was pulling it back. It didn't really matter to me all that much, but now that I'm wearing it down, I definitely needed something to help what the frizz helped and make it look nice and sleek. When I want it want to wear it like straighter, and so I went ahead and picked up the. What is this called the Revlon one-step, hair, dryer and volumizer? There are five hundred videos on YouTube talking about how phenomenal this product is and you guys they aren't lying. I have only used it once or twice. I have it here outside of the box, so I can show you what it looks like. I'M not gon na get too super close because it does have a ton of my hair in it and that's kind of gross. Nobody wants to see that, but if you've never heard of this before it's essentially just a hairbrush and a blow-dryer all in one, it has four bristles as well as these plastic bristles. So it does a really nice job of smoothing the hair and drying it all. At once, it's essentially the same thing as if you were to blow-dry with a round brush only it keeps what your hand free. You know it's not like both arms up blow-drying forever getting super tired, at least that's always been my experience anytime. I'Ve tried to blow-dry my hair that way my arms get super tired, it's awkward to get to the back of the hair. This makes it super easy. I love this thing. It does get pretty hot. I always use it on the high setting, though it three different settings well, for I guess it has off cool low and high. I always use it on the high setting, because if I use the low setting it's not as hot, but it also doesn't dry my hair as quickly and then I end up a little frizzy. But I love this thing. It was definitely worth the investment. I think it was $ 35. I'Ve seen it as high as $ 60 and as low as $ 25. When I finally broke down and purchased it on Amazon, it was $ 35. It was prime shipped right to my door in two days. I love Amazon Prime for that, but yeah I've gotten a lot of use out of this already and I absolutely love it highly recommend alright. So because I'm using such a hot tool, I needed to invest in some heat protection. It'S very very important, obviously, to protect your hair from the high heat if you're, using curling, irons or hair dryers or whatever it is. If you're exposing your hair to a lot of heat, you definitely want to protect it, and so I picked up a couple of products to do that. This first one is the L'Oreal blow-dry it thermal, smoother cream, it tames frizz and has heat protection. This is phenomenal. I really really like this for especially blow drying when I have damp hair. I will just use like a quarter sized amount of this and run it through all of my hair. Before I blow dried it. This is great for that. It smells really good and it was super cheap. It was like less than three dollars on Amazon. It makes my hair look really nice and shiny and healthy. So I love that when I want to use a heat tool on my hair, that's already been dried. I like to have a heat protection spray, so this one is a blow dry accelerator and it's got thermal protection, so I will use this sometimes before I blow dry. My hair, I haven't noticed that it actually accelerates the blow drying process, but I do like that. It has heat protection and, like I said, I use this if my hair is dry and I want to put a curl in it using like a curling wand or something I will Spray this on to my dry hair um. This isn't my favorite thermal protection spray. I'Ve ever used it kinda, has a weird smell and that crazy about the scent of this one. But again it was pretty affordable on Amazon, the one that I've used in years past was the Tresemme one and I'll probably go back to that once this is done, but I just kind of wanted to try out this blow dry acceleration thing see if it helped And just try a new product, so I did pick up that one and I liked it it's fine, but that's just not my favorite um, so to go along with my one step: hair, dryer and volumizer. I also picked up some velcro rollers, as you can see here. This is third day hair. I don't wash my hair everyday. I only wash my hair like twice a week but as the week progresses, I'd lose a lot of the volume on top. So I like the volumizer for right out of the shower when I have freshly clean hair. It gives me a ton of volume on top, but it does tend to fall pretty flat, and so I wanted to have some rollers that I could put just in, like the crown section to give myself some lift. I can just heat up the top of my hair and put it back in the curlers and that'll. Give me some lift and volume without having to use a lot of like texturising spray, Xand things I'm not opposed to those. I do think that they have their time in place, but I have to wash my hair more frequently. Obviously when I use that sort of thing, so I tried to avoid it if I can, and so I purchased the dry bar high-tops self grip rollers. These were ten bucks on Amazon. I wanted really large rollers for the top to give me as much volume as possible. Obviously I did not do that today, but so I found these you guys, you don't have to spend the money on the dry bar ones. You can get these at Walmart there's a ton of off-brand like velcro rollers. I just purchased these because I didn't need a ton of rollers. I just needed a couple, and these were the ones that popped up first. Essentially, so this comes with six different rollers. They have the smaller ones as well as the Jumbo ones. These are the ones that I use in the top of my hair. I don't find that these actually will stay put on their own they're supposed to be. You know self-grip they're supposed to stay in your hair. Maybe if you had like super thin hair, it would work, but it doesn't really work for me. The hair stays on the roller, but it won't stay put. No, that was stupid Jessie. Why did you do that? Um, what I have my hair all rolled up in there, it won't stay it'll come undone. If I'm not careful, so I don't know that they're, like the best rollers ever in terms of the self-grip feature, but I do like how large they are. I like that they have nice venting and them. So you can, you know, use your blow-dryer once your hair is already up in curlers. If that is your preferred method, so I do like them. I, like the color too, I think they're just sort of fun, but, like I said you don't have to spend ten dollars, you know six rollers. You can get a whole set of light, converting rollers for ten dollars, depending on which ones you go for, but that was the set that I purchased so there's that um. What else did I pick up from Amazon and when I get all the Amazon stuff out of the way and then we'll move into the Walmart stuff? So next up I have these little hair drying towels. These are essentially like the Turbie twist from back in the day, if you guys watch those infomercials at 3 o'clock in the morning like I did they're just like a hair turban, you can wrap your hair up in them. This is one of them. I pulled it out, so I can show you it's just got this shape, so you can put it over your damp hair twist your hair up, and then it's got a little button here that you can close it and that just keeps it on your head. It'S better than wrapping your hair in one of those really thick bath towels and that ball off and it's super heavy. This is also microfiber, so it does a really nice job of absorbing the water in your hair. Typically, what I will do is, I will get out of the shower with my clean hair, I'll wrap my hair up and this and then, while I am getting myself dressed and doing my makeup and everything, the hair will stay up in this and then by the Time, I'm ready to actually go in with my little one-step dryer, my hair is like 90 % dry and then I'll just go through it really quickly with the volumizer and I'm good to go. So I really like these. It was a set of three for a really affordable price, I'm not sure exactly what the price was, but I will link everything I'm talking about in this video down below, if you guys are interested in that, but I really really like those another thing I picked Up from Amazon was this set of clips, so whenever I blow-dry my hair, I like to section it off into various sections and do it like little pieces at a time, and so I just needed some hair clips. These are nothing special they're. Just like the plastic Clips like this, they have the little teeth here and this adjusts. So if you have thicker or thinner hair, it will work for that. These have a really nice spring in them. They'Re not like really flimsy they're, really nice and stable came with a set of one two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine ten of them. I don't have them all here. Some of them are still in my bathroom. I already took them out of the package. I'Ve been using them, but these work great. You can buy this sort of thing from any sort of beauty, store or Walmart, but I got a good price for these on Amazon and I'm really happy with them. They had other colors too. That'S it. The color really matters, but you know I always order purple because Oh purple kind of gal umm. What else do I have here? Okay, so the very last thing I think from Amazon - and I could have picked this up at my local drugstore. I just kind of added it on with the rest of the products and things all in one order is the Garnier Fructis style, sleek and shine hairspray 24-hour hold anti humidity, and it is the ultra stronghold. The number four hold it's just a can of hairspray. I, like aerosol hair sprays. I think they all kind of work the same. This doesn't leave my hair super crunchy or anything. It works. Fine. I also like the Tresemme hairspray. I like there's a couple other ones that I like hairspray scare spray in my book. You don't have to spend a lot just find the one you like and stick with it, but I wanted to try this one cuz. It said write on it for his protection and it works. Ok for that. So there is that. So that was everything I think from Amazon really quickly I'll just go through the items I picked up at Walmart. Well, actually, there's one item from Dollar Tree: I went into Dollar Tree and then I dropped it on the floor. I went into Dollar Tree looking for bobby pins and that's what I purchased and then I got them home and I realized how terrible quality these are they're, not very strong, they're, not very thick or durable. So they're, okay in a pinch, but I ended up having to buy bobby pins at Walmart as well, because they just weren't super great quality. So speaking of my Walmart bobby pins, I'm not sure what I did with them. I just had them here and somehow I managed to lose them already, which is the thing about bobby pins there. They are, they disappear on you, hair ties and bobby pins are always like running away with spare socks. I swear those things always disappear. Here are the bobby pins that I purchased at Walmart they're, just the goodie brand. These are much thicker quality than the ones I got a Dollar Tree I'll. Show you a little side-by-side comparison. This is the goodie brand. I don't know if you guys can even see this is the Dollar Tree brand, so definitely much thinner. These dollar treat ones. Are they work in a pinch and especially if you have thin hair, I'm sure they'd be fine, but I just needed something a little bit more heavy-duty. So now I have both, which is great - it's nice to have options, so these are for black hair. I don't have black hair, but it is super super dark brown and I found that a lot of things that I buy made for brunette hair is too light, so I always tend to go for the black option just to be on the safe side. So you get 48 bobby pins in here. I need to get a big tin of like 200 of them because, like I said these disappear constantly, but these will work for now. I really want to avoid pulling my hair back and like those elastic things that always break your hair. You know what I'm talking about, so I bought the bobby pins to pull my hair back when I want to, and I'm hoping that that will help keep my hair nice and healthy and keep it from breaking. So I told you guys - I only wash my hair like twice a week to aid in that since I'm no longer pulling my hair back in those elastics. I picked up a shower cap in years past when I have not been washing my hair I'll, just pull it back really tight and that'll. Keep it mostly dry and it'll be fine, but I decided to try out a shower cap. I haven't used a shower cap since I was in high school, so I don't know how well I'm going to like this. This was just a super affordable one from Walmart. It is the sensations premium brand. It is a large shower cap, it's in a pretty pink color and I'm hoping it'll work out. Okay, if not I'm only out a couple bucks, so that'll go right into my shower. So there's that - and the very last thing in my little haul here - are these goody styling pins. There are sectioning Clips, but I actually bought these to try to keep these rollers. In my hair, like I said whenever I roll my hair up in those, they tend not to stay, and so I thought, if I clipped them with this style clip, maybe they would stay a little bit better. I don't know I haven't tried them yet. I don't know how well they're going to work. I used to have little duckbill clips that had some like a little fine teeth on them and I think that would probably work better. I don't have any idea where those went like I said: hair stuff just disappears and I haven't done much with my hair, like I said in a very long time, so I picked up some more. Hopefully these will work. If not, I can use them just for sectioning what I'm doing curls or whatever, but these were just from the goodie brand and they are twelve pieces, so that is it for my little haircare haul, very different for my channel, but I hope that you enjoyed it. Nonetheless, I still want to get a couple more things, I'm in the market for a new hair straightener, the straightener that I have is at least ten years old, and so it probably should upgrade that. So if you guys have suggestions on a good, affordable, hair straightener, preferably something from the drugstore, I don't want to spend a fortune. Let me know - and I want to get some like - silk scrunchies - to pull my hair back for when I'm sleeping or maybe like a hair scarf or something just because with out pulling it back. Like I have in years past, I tend to wake up with my hair, like all over the place and I'd like to keep it kind of contained at night. So if you have suggestions for that, let me know down below as well. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video, give it a thumbs up if you did make sure you subscribe, so that you never miss a video, and I will see you guys next time, bye,

Emma Miller: Great products! I also love to see you spending some time on things that make you happy - your hair looks great!!

Laura's life: Love this video! My hair is long and a little wavy. I'm always in a hurry, usually I just wash, brush and go. Yes, I do leave the house with wet hair even this time of year. Which is stupid! You've inspired me to do something with it! I will look into getting the hair tool. Do you have any trouble getting your hair tangled in the brush?I've got mine tangled in a round brush before. Tfs

N is for Nurse: Thanks! Just bought the Revlon hair drying tool and can't wait to try it!

Twila Cade: The one-step blow dryer is no joke the BEST thing I’ve ever purchased. I actually have a knockoff and it works just as well. (I used my daughter-in-law’s revelon one and she said her mom had a knockoff that worked well, too!). thanks for the hair care product reviews! I’m always looking for new shampoo/conditioner and other products for my very thick/unruly hair! I also do not wash every day and the struggle is real for taking care of long uncooperative hair!

Fran Bruno: I have the Revlon hair tool. Best hair product ever made!!

Leelee: I need to try those curlers..I have long unruly hair.

april west: Your so pretty and sweet. Your complexion is gorgeous.
