Hello, my name is: Mark Weiss, heron, makeup artist here in New York City in the freelance I work in commercial print fashion and entertainment celebrity. How do I stay in my hair during awkward phases of growing out their hair? There are many different ways with different lengths, but my model kit has long, hair and she's trying to grow it out a little bit longer and she's, just not feeling right here to the front. It'S got this really weird wave pattern or no wave pattern. So it's really looking and feeling awkward for her. So there's a couple things that I would do is I've already pre moistened, her hair add a little bit of leave-in conditioner into it. That has a UV UV, UV and UVB protector into it, which you really do want to use for your hair, because it helps protect your hair from the Sun and drawing out its UVA and UVB protect your sunscreens are not just for skin. We'Ve actually found out that it's really useful for your hair as well, so just to pre-moistened. What I will do is actually enforce the wave into her hair, I'm just kind of following what she has and just kind of doing, like a little finger wave action. What I'm going to do is just take a little clip right to where I put that wave and then this side, I'm going to do the same. Remember to follow your waves with your pinning, and so then this one is just going to come back and then she can just dry her hair naturally, and have just a nice beautiful wave when that dries you're not really compiling it or you know, squishing it in You'Re just kind of moving it and creating a little wave. You can put a little mousse in there to help hold, but one of the other things that I can mention is especially with her issue right here into the front, is to do a couple, pin curls on to the side and let that dry naturally just put A couple pins in there and let it dry naturally or you can use a low setting blow-dryer and once you release that you've, actually, you know set a little curl inch of it. Most everybody doesn't want something coming into their face. You want it to go out. So make sure that you take your pin, curl and roll it towards the back of the head, and that is how you grow hair out in awkward stages. My name is Mark Weiss. Thank you for watching we'll see you again soon.
