"FTC disclosure: This video contains affiliate links, which means I may receive a commission for purchases made through my links" This helps me to continue making videos for this channel :-)

Hello, this genetic beauty and welcome to my channel today's video is going to be a little bit different, as you can tell by the title, I'm going to do a twist out using affordable products on this side and then high-end products. On this side, I just washed my hair using drugstore, affordable products on this side and high-end products on this side. So my hair, it may look similar because the products that I use were good on both sides and once I did when so make sure that you do check that video out to see what products that I use. Now I'm just going to divide my hair into quadrants, so I can apply my styling products. So here is my left side, and here is the right side and going along with this side as being a more affordable, silent, I'm going to continue styling, my hair. That way, I am going to use my mister bottle. I absolutely love this so much and I'm just going to miss my hair with a good amount of water. I just find that this will really helps my product succeed and my hair a lot better. I'M just gon na divide, my hair and half just make a subsection, alright and I'm just gon na add a little bit more water. Sometimes I just have to work in subsections, so my hair is very thick, but that is totally fine. Make sure I get my ends and myself and for my leaving conditioner I'm going to be using this cream of a nature: breakup, breakage, leave-in conditioner for dry damaged, hair that has pure honey, rich coconut oil and cream shea butter. I picked up products that would probably work and write hair really good. I use their twist and defying cream with this collection and it works in my hair, pretty good, so I'm gon na spray a good amount of this leave-in conditioner over at my hair, and I noticed that I have a lot of new subscribers. So welcome to my channel and one thing about me: is I really like saturating my hair with products, especially when I style my hair, because it really helps to lock in that moisture, and I find that my styles. They just look a lot better and they last a lot longer, and that feels really good. So now I'm going to put my oil in - and this is from Shea Moisture - this is their pure shea oil. So I'm gon na put a good amount at this oil about 10 pumps and then just apply it down the length of my hair off on my scalp. I'M going to make sure I also get the ends. I don't want to neglect the ends of my hair and then after I work the oil in really good, I'm just going to twist this section of hair up, but I do like the way that my hair feels it feels really nice and soft. And then I am going to comb the ends of my hair, just so that they are nice and smooth, and it also helps me to twirl the ends of my hair, a lot better well and have the ends they curl up really nice. That is a good sign. Okay and fast-forward. I completed this section so now onto this half, I'm going to miss my hair with a good amount of water. For many of you that know me, you know I just really love the way water feels on my hair. This makes it feel so soft and moisturized, of course, for my leave-in conditioner, I'm going to be using earth nectar. This is their coconut, curls, leave-in conditioner and I just pumped four pumps into my hands, probably going to need to separate it when you separate it effort guys to separate it spray a little bit more water, I'm going to apply three pumps to this section, so I Do like in if this leave-in conditioner is lightweight and my hair feels it does feel good, I'm just going to apply a little bit more to the ends of my hair and from my oil I'm going to be using this one. This is from a badger. This is their Oregon halt by unveil about the tentacle hair oil, so this oil is not as thick as the Shea oil, so I just pump five. It smells pretty good, just help seal that moisture in my hair and then twist the section and the ends of my hair curls so nicely just love it. I just really try to make sure that I applied the leave-in conditioner on all of my hair, so make sure to get in between also so it's just not going on the top or the bottom. It'S really getting on all of my hair. Okay. Now to apply my stylers, I just applied my leave-in conditioner and oil to both sides, and then I like to apply my styler. I I've been doing it this way for a long time, and I find that it just works a lot better because, as I'm working on another section, the other sections have that time to really lift the leave-in conditioner and oil penetrate into my hair strands. So that my hair is rubbing moisturized by the time I add my stylist - I just really love doing it this way. So now, back to the first section, I'm going to apply my two stylers and it's going to be from Garnier Fructis. So I have seen a lot of Naturals using these products and they really seem to like it. So I chose to get these two, I'm just gon na pair it together. Alright, so let me just unravel the twist first, so you see how my hair is still moisture eyes. I'M hydrated, it's really soft, really nice and I could see that I have a little bit of definition, and that is what I love. So now, I'm just going to part my hair in the back going across and now I'm going to apply the Garnier Fructis style. Curl treat butter is supposed to be hydrating and it's good for a normal and coarse hair. So it's definitely a really thick and working this butter in my hair, my hair does feel good. It feels soft. It feels moisturized and that's definitely my goal. I want my hair to feel moisturize and to be moisturized and soft and my curls are clumping. We got there a little bit, not so much here, but here my curls are definitely clumpy and to make sure that I do get that definition from the twist. I'M going to add their curl treat jelly shaping, and this is good for all hair types, so this has a sweet scent. So I'm going to apply this much just right on top of that, and I definitely have that slip between adding both of these and I don't have that fake hydration. I don't know if you ever experienced where your hair, like touching it, felt good, but it really didn't feel moisturized from within, like the actual hair strand, it just felt like a coating sitting on top of your hair. This feels like the product is actually been worked into my hair, so I'm just going to smooth all the products and just to make sure when I do my squizz, my hair can really take shape. So let me just twist it I'm just doing a two strand twist, making sure that my hair stays nice and smooth all the way down and, of course, at the ends, just twirl, my hair, just to help encourage the curl and also my end stay like this. So if your ends are unraveling, I would highly suggest to use a perm rod or a flexi rod, but I really like the feel of my hair. It feels like one of the products I would normally use for is twists out. Okay, it's the last row now what I'm doing it looks like the back. The residue is drying clear, I'm just going to wipe off the excess when I'm finished, because I have a fear that there may be a little bit of flakes in there. And that is not a good look and here's the shirt that I'd use and I'm just going to gently kind of squeeze my hair in there. So I'm just gon na leave this side like that and now onto this side, the high inside I'm going to be using some products that I've used before and I really did like they are friends of mica. So this is the curl course enhancing gel, and also this one is from the same line. This is our curl porch defining cream. So I'm just going to parent these two together, similar to what I did on this side and my hair still feels good as it should see. My hair is still nourished. It'S soft it's moisturized, and this is why I do the leap in the oil and then go back and stop my hair, because the moisture just stays in my hair and now I'm ready to style it. So I'm going to be using a different comb and I'm going to do the same thing pretty much, I'm just going to part my hair going straight across and then secure it up here at the top. So I have some kind of definition, as you can see. Right here and the first product that I'm going to use as they're defining cream and apply it in this section now this feels really nice, it's not heavy at all, and then here is the gel. This job is a really good right on top and, of course, I'm going to comb it in just to make sure that all the products are works in my hair. Well, so I can take the shake of the twist. It feels a light weight. I just like what my twist they feel weighted. That'S how I know that I'm gon na get really good definition twist the ends and continue, but here is the hi inside and then here is the more affordable side. Now that feels really lightweight. This feels like it has a little bit more weight to it on this side. So now, what I'm going to do is a wrap. My hair, I'm going to put this silk scarf on my hair, just to keep it out of my face because I'm going to do some chores around the house and I cannot have my hair in my face. I really love this scarf. It feels like it's gon na, take some time to dry this side just feels like it has more clean like a liquid base. This one has more of a like a gel base. It feels just a little bit sticky. This one doesn't feel sticky at all, so hopefully by tomorrow earlier my hair will be dry. I'M just gon na put my bonnet on in the meantime, and this is how I go to sleep pretty much every night except my scarf on and then my bonnet and of course I do wash my bonnet weekly and I will see you tomorrow. Okay, I am back. It has been a couple of days since I last twisted my hair, just because my hair did not drive the next day and I had to go out and Sunday. I also had to go out so today is Monday, and let me show you how my hair looks and I could tell that my Swiss. They have some weight to them. So that is definitely a good sign anytime, that my twists they feel like they have weight and they're not Hollow. I know that my twist us are gon na be bomb now when it comes to this side. This side definitely looks like and he's just a little bit more moisture, and it feels a little bit more Hollow, so it doesn't have that density. Like I love for my twists to feel before I unravel them, so let me just show you: this is the affordable side and then this is the high inside. But before I unravel my twist, I am going to spray an elixir on my hair just to help with the shine and to prevent any frizzing in my hair, like I typically do so for the high inside I'm going to use this diva curl. This is their high shine. Multi benefit oil. So it's really good for this purpose, just to prevent any frizzing in my hair. While I unravel the twists make sure I get my ends too and then for the more affordable side, I'm going to be using this Shea Moisture, coconut and hibiscus hold and shine, moisture mist that has silk protein and neem oil. This one is more liquidy. I don't need too much of that in my hair, the diva curl side, it's more of a dry oil. So even though I did spray a lot of the diva oil in my hair, it doesn't feel like too moist. It feels good this side. It feels a little damp so now let me unravel the twist look at this definition feels really good. So this side I definitely have some good definition going on and, like I said, I feel some weight to these twists, so it doesn't feel airy like it feels like it's definitely going to last. So what do you think of this site? I think that the site looks really nice. It looks very moisturize. My hair is soft. The side feels really good, alright, so now to the high-end side. So I have some really good definition on this eye too. It just feels very little light this side. I can tell that I have products in it and it feels really moisturized. So, even though this cider doesn't feel as moisturized, it does feel soft have good definition on both sides. Oh, I have some really nice volume on this side, or just this one just feels really moisturized like really moisturize this one, it's just so moisturize, but not like really moisturize. This night feels like really moisturized. I, like both sides. So far they have different looks besides, I just have more volume, but this is how the high inside looks alright. So now I'm just going to separate the curls, maybe I'll, see which side I like better. That way. I really like this sigh because I have that volume and a high definition this side. I have a lot of definition, but it just feels more weighted down and it also looks just a little bit weighted down. You know I love that big hair I'm really liking. This side and I haven't even fluffed it out or picked it yet. So let me pick a both sides out. I, like both sides for different reasons. I am going to put my edge control on so for the high inside I'm going to use this design essentials. Honey in shape edge, tamer and I really love design essential products. They work really good in my hair and then for the affordable side. I'M going to use this edge booster. Now this is my very first time using this, so I'm really happy to see how it works in my hair, so this feels a lot lighter than the design essentials. The design essential side feels just a little bit stronger as far as the edge holds. It really doesn't matter how the edges really look, because I'm gon na cover it up anyway, so it's really hard to say which that I prefer over the other, because this side has more volume and it has definition which you know. I love that combo together and this cider has a lot of definition. More so am i here it does have that. Let that nice moisturize feel - and it's not greasy at all this side is not greasy either. It has like a nice Sheen to both sides, so I'm gon na, let you decide which side you like better. By voting on my Instagram. I will post the picture tonight, so you can vote and by the time that this video is out, you will have chosen which guy that you like the best - and I will leave it right here. This is the side that one and I really love that you enjoyed this video, even though I can't really pick a side, because I really like both of them. I really love this definition. I like how soft my hair feels, and it just feels nice and moisturized. This side it feels really soft like really healthy. It feels full bouncy. I had that volume and I have definition and if you are not following me on my Instagram, make sure that you do because I am consistently posting. The view loves me here. My channel you'll. Definitely love me on my Instagram, so I will see you in my next video bye.

Antoinette Chevalier: Absolutely I’d go with the inexpensive side (less volume, more definition) because it seems like the high-end/expensive side will frizz up quicker, once you go outside. For me, it’s all about which side will last longer: I wanna keep the style for a good 5 days before I have to re-twist. Cheap side for the win!

Rena Labeaud: Its crazy how the actual twists looked different once they were dry! The high end side definitely didnt have the luster the other side had. I like the affordable side bc of the definition

Zuri Saunders: Affordable or high end hair products either way your hair always turns out nice ‍♀️

Diane S: I’m late but I like the high end side. The volume is I like BIG hair sis.

Regular Black Girl: I love how you take the time to make sure your hair is properly moisturized. I prefer the high end side cause I’m bourgeois by default lol but I think the lower end side will last longer

sjerzgirl: They both came out super cute but it looks like the affordable side will hold up longer. I really didn't expect that from garnier frutis! Great video. Thank you beautiful!

Lady M: I like the affordable side. I'm not so invested in volume as much as I am in moisture. When you took the bonnet off I saw the weight more on the affordable side. Your roots were smoother than the high end side. Overall your hair looks wonderful but if I were to choose, I'd choose the affordable side. You get value in look and price. I love your videos.

HERO NINJA: I think the affordable side will win !

Fully Melanated: I love watching your videos! Your so informative and I can definitely relate to your tips due the fact we have similar hair types! I’m always learning something from you. I started my channel to watch my personal hair journey and can’t wait to become a part of the Natural Hair Youtuber community

Felicia Dunn: I really love ❤️ the affordable side. Your hair looks gorgeous.

Tamara Baez: I like both sides however I think volume and definition also.Your hair always looks amazing!! Thank you for your review.

Drew Baker: I love your product "battles!" Educational but fun with a touch of drama about the results!

DaFaBBMiSs3s: The twist alone was really nice I wish i would wear my hair just like that it was really neat. I like both sides if i could achieve either side i would be happy

lealea j: You're the first person, that I've seen that actually liked these Garnier stylers...maybe it was the leave in and oil you layered on first. Both sides came out great..I think I prefer the side with more volume though.

Attiyya Brown: Have you ever thought of opening up a natural hair shop, you really broke this down to science and it’s so professional when you do it, so beautiful no matter what product:)

Tinahgirl83: I’m super late but I love the high end side. So much volume without sacrificing the definition.

Mimi Is Mighty Incredible: I prefer the high end side. I'm a Lover of Voluminous Hair. ❤ Both sides came out excellent.

Tala Caples: I love how detailed your videos are!

Shakina Riley: Loving this tutorial girl

Woman Of God: I see more volume in the high end side. Great video Jeanette!

Kimberly Cornelious: I love the more affordable side they are both Beautiful.

Kellie Brianna: right side is winning for me. the definition is soooo good and it’s gonna get bigger as the days go!

Victoria Bazzle-Woods: Good tip on leave in oil first I usually do everything to one section but ur right by time i get to other end hair is really dryed out.

Shanita Thomas: Both sides make me swoon Gorgeous!

Carla Ann: Both sides look nice but, I know you like volume so I'm going with high end side! I guess it depends on your mood!

Dana Hudson: Both side look nice but I like the affordable side reason like the definition moreso than the volume or fluffy.

Ileana Lanzo: I am torn between both sides because the diva side has more volume and then the other one looks nice and moisturizer but it's elongated so it all depends if you want party Diva and if you want a long gated hair with some volume then the affordable side but putting everything aside it came out beautiful.

MoeMoe: The affordable side look the best the high side looked a lil dry to me but your hair always come out cute

Myrna J: JJBeauty Gang!!‍♀️❤ That Thumbnail is everything Love. I love the Content! Love both sides. Great idea.

Beauty Outspoken: High end side looks like a fluffy cloud

All For Love: Your hair is BEAUTIFUL!!

Rochelle Naturally: The high end side looks good, but the affordable side shines more. my vote: high end.

Chanell Rose: The affordable side looked more tamed like it was set well

Daisy Flower: I like the high end side better. More volume, more definition and it looks shinier

lfutrell82: I like the volume on the high end, but the shine on the affordable side.

Kerry-Ann Dennis: Can you let us know over time which side lasted longer? i.e. kept definition, which side got frizzier first etc.

First_ladyfox: I love it just like that. I never seperate or pick but it does look nice on you.

R Music: Love the high end side better.

Ebony Bloom: The question would be, which side lasted longer?

ConcertJunkie27: Love the high end side.

Wanda Barett: Honey! If I use all this product my hair would be girl. What we doing? You don’t like us ? Lol

JOYCE DELIFUS: Great video, I like both sides.

Courtney Bannes: I like the high end side.

Hibiscus7: I stopped shopping for drug store items because I have been hearing that cancer causing chemicals are in some of their products

Cara Downey: the high end side won but your hair over all is on point... but that's nothing new :-)

Kim: I think the affordable side looks better

Rena Labeaud: Do you think the garnier would be good for a wash n go?

Arlene Braithwaite: Both sides are beautiful. Love Mom

Hunny Gyrl: I luv ur hair! Beautiful

Santa Harkless: The high end looks a little better.. not much.

treena warren: Both sides look good
