What'S going on everybody rich Gigli here and I'm going to be showing you guys my favorite hair products that I'm currently using right now, y'all ready, let's go so when it comes to hair products on the market. Right now I know there are a ton to choose from I mean you got everything for calming from clay to wax to a mousse. To gel I mean, there's everything out there on the market right now, and I know it could be a little bit overwhelming when it comes to selecting a hair product, but my number one suggestion would be determine what kind of hair you have, whether it be like Thick hair or some hair that doesn't really stand up and give you volume or some weak hair, and for me, I've already determined that my hair is super super thick. It'S super hard to get any product to just tame it down so off the bat. I already know that I got to get anything with like an extreme hold. Those are the type of products that I'm going to be looking for when I go to the store or are ordering online. So, first one up, we got this Japanese Gatsby hair wax right here. This one I got is a spiky edge. I feel like the pink one is the most strongest gatsby out on the market. So this is the one I have and I don't really use it as much anymore, but I was using it a lot when I had more straight hair, but this is a great product. If you have that straight spiky, thick hair, trust me, I'm not. You know. I don't use it right now, but it's a great product. If you do have that type of hair. Next up we got the American Crew pomade. This is going to be really similar to a Suavecito. If you've ever heard of Suavecito a lot of barber shops end up selling that I mean it's exactly how it sounds. Swab the seto swab you're gon na be swabbing like you're liking, it some Italian GQ magazine or something. If you want that, flake ha ha ha. Look, this is gon na give you that nice sheen in your hair, you know it's gon na be a bit of a stronger hold than gel, I would say so and a downside to this product. It is a little bit more of on the expensive side. I think it's because it doubles up like a hair product and then a cologne because be smelling good, alright, alright, so now we're going to get into the products that I'm personally using right now too my hair. So I actually use two to three products when I style my hair and a lot of people like. Aren'T you always looking use one, but the reason I'm using two to three is because different products have different purposes when it comes to your hair. So I mean some days my hair just really hard to do, and you know I got ta hit it with like three different products, detainment. So, first one up the DS by extreme hold styling cream. This is one of the best products that I've ever used personally to tame thick Asian hair, and it's not just that it tames it. It actually looks somewhat natural when it comes to doing your hair. It doesn't have that like crazy, shiny sheen to it and for the audience out there that still wants to style the hair, but their hair might not be as thick and strong as mine. You might want to go with the medium hold right here. They make a lot of different holds when it comes to this product, but at the end of the day, a lot of them are going to give the same result, which is just more of a natural look when it comes to styling hair. So, first off I start off with a deep eye. So I'm just getting a little bit of this and I just put it all over my hands and then I just rub it and as you can see, it doesn't really have a crazy like shine to it, which makes it look a little bit more natural. In my opinion, but a lot of people end up liking that more of like a shinier scenar look. I don't even know if that was a word, but I'm just use it anyways when you know when they hit the club or something is trying to be seen. So they want the sheen, so this product right here that I'm going to show you guys it's more of like a complementary product. You don't have to use it when you're doing your hair when it comes to fake Asian hair, but um this right here, the style sexy, hair, hard-up gel. I don't know how to describe it, but it's like a hard honey like gel. It says right here: nice shine, ten hold and then it says hard up and caps. So you already know it's strong, I'm talking like LeBron and one layup strong. So what I like to do is just put a little bit in my hair and you can see it has a pretty shiny, look right there. So I put a little bit on my fingers right here and then I do the Birdman hair rub you know, and then I just do the same thing I did with the d5. This way, it's going to add a little bit more of a unnatural shiny, look, and now you can kind of see it kind of has like more of a shinier look, not much. I barely put any in, but it depending on how shiny you want your hair to be. You can put a lot in little in whatever and then there's one more step when it comes to doing your hair. I'Ve gone through a lot of bottles of these. I argued with TSA to try to let me bring them over on the plane. Sometimes this one right here: the L'Oreal power D, lock-it bold, strong, hairspray and can be a little bit long. I love it boy. Whatever look, you got on your hair, whatever product that you use it's just gon na, laugh at it a lot at it a lot at it, I'm just gon na lock it in, and it's just gon na make sure your head just stays still, and it doesn't Add no like crazy, shine or look to your hair. It just make sure your hair stays in place. I mean that's pretty much it. I just wanted to go over some of my favorite hair products that I'm using right now and talk about a couple of other ones that are on the market right now. What it comes down to is just testing out what really works for your own hair and for me growing up outside. You could only use one product on your hair, but I don't even know you can use like a combination of maybe one two, three four things and each one is going to have like a different effect on your hair, so so to go over what we talked About I go to the D vibe and then, if I'm really trying to show out, I put a little bit of the sexy hair, styling gel on it and then just to reinforce it, locking down. I go with the locket, bold control, hair spray. You can find this like anywhere at any drugstore and that's pretty much it thanks for checking out that video leave down in the comments below, if you guys have any other questions about hair styling or if you guys want me to show you know certain pomades or Certain hair sprays or I could go over it all for you guys, so I would say we just kind of scratch the surface when it comes to hair products, but I wouldn't really mind making more hair tutorial, styling type videos, if you guys want them. So let me know down in the comments below, if you guys want them, and we can do a whole style segment every week on this channel, if you guys want and that's pretty much it and until next time, we out booze alright guys. Thank you for checking out that video make sure you check out this video also check out this video. It'S going to be one where I show you guys how I style my hair and how i texturize it and get it. Wait. You like this leap down in the comments below, if you guys want to see more style, tip videos I'll, definitely make them if you guys want them. Also. I left some links in the description box below for you guys to the products that I showed you guys, so you guys can get the exact ones that I'm talking about and yeah that's pretty much it thanks for checking out that video and until next time, I'm Out peace,

Asianjesus6969: For thick lowkey wavy hair I suggest L'Oréal over worked putty. It has a nice hold that stays for most of the day and it's re workable so it doesn't look stiff. It's also dumb cheap for 5 dollars at bed bath and beyond

Simar Sandhu: You should do a hair segment every week. You should give us a tutorial on how to do the straight hair style you showed us. And you should show us the products you use for that style, If that makes sense. I personally cannot get my hair in the style I want, which is short on the sides and long on the top, maybe a 3 and then spike up the sides in the front to the side. Please do a video like that. Similar to the one with straight hair but shorter. Thanks

Logan Lauffer: Man, I love your channel. Wish you put out like 8 videos a day cause I have seen them all and tune in every day for more.

Jericho Ryan: I enjoy these kind of videos Richie. Keep on doing these kind of videos.

Andreas Diakos: def much better products out there, although everyone's hair is different. I have thick, wavy hair and have used a bunch of products from layrite, Hanz, crew, steadfast, etc. Shear Revival and Hanz de Fuko Claymation are probably my favorite I ever used.

Jasmin Flowerz: Use *fresh aloe leaf gel* by (lightly)scraping the inside of the leaf's pulp w/a knife. This will not only give incredible, long lasting hold to hair, that will last all day- but will also act as a nourishing + hair thickening treatment for the hair. Plus will give locks a mirror-like glossy sheen. *Other option*: Homemade *flaxseed gel,* by boiling flaxseeds into a few cupfuls of water, until you get a stringy liquid. By using a fork you can test it's consistency, to know if its ready. Then you pour the liquid into a glass container and store in the fridge for apprx a week or two. Liquid will become thicker once cooled. Also won't be as thick as your store bought product, but will be of equal performance or better..with added hair health benefits. (Optional) Add a few *drops* of your *favorite essential oil* to either gels, once cooled. Rosemary oil is the most popular choice due to its hair growth stimulating properties.

Rosie Schmitz: Honestly I think you look best without product, just the perm poof. It's different and fresh

Ilovekvn: We need a video on dos and don'ts on gold chain Richie! What to buy, how to wear them all that!

Kenneth le: I used to put product on my hair everyday, but after dying it, it just killed it even faster so I use it on special occasions

Socialism Capitalism: i use the strongest gel from schwartzkopf and it works perfect on my short straight asian hair

Samia Shahrin: I need to appreciate my guy friends hair more, so much effort goes into it!

Jac Carrigan: Yes make that styling segment every week!!!!!!

Alex Santiago: Richie always got me cracking up

kevin vang: Have you tried using Layrite, and or Uppercut? they're both great brand currently using the Layrite pomade and its great.

Antoine Vial: I have the same hair than you. I just wash my hair with a loreal shampoo, very nutritive for thick hair. After hairbrush and then, i personnaly aply Hanz de Fuko Claymation, super high hold with mate finish : perfect style

Guizen Del Canto: Richie, try Original by Blumaan. It's so worth the 20 dollars. Might be much, but eliminates hairspray. Idk if u will consider, but it works on ur hair type

Stefen: Richie should make a video of him getting the actual hair cut because everyone, Tan, and Fung Bros, except him show the steps on how they get their hair cuts

Myles Shin: do a whole style seg every week!

Aj A.: Weekly styling videos would be dope

Jonathan Vu: Keep it up! Loved it super helpful

Danny: This has easily become one of my favourite channels

gavin srivisay: Richie, can you make a video on how your hair progressed into it being thick and wavy

lexpumas: You should pre-style, it makes the styling proces 100 times easier and better.

L DA SHOOTA: Can you do like a whole hygiene routine or sum along those lines?

Connor.mp3: Richie can you do more cheap fashion videos

Isaac Stilley: You should really do more hair tutorial vids

Marc E: video on how to cut/style popular/trending hairstyles. doesnt have to be in great detail but even just the basics will be great content

Mw2ManDeMz: Hairspray definitely shouldn't be a part of your everyday hairstyle, it's probably the most damaging hair product and only meant for that extravagant styles that require extra hold.

Shababs Botten 2 Releaseparty: yo guys, coming from someone whos actually from the hair styling community and has talked and worked with professionals before. dont get gatsby, its sticky, it damages your hair and its not restyleable. the american crew pomade is equally as bad, if you want a good pomade get a homebrew pomade for the same price. i recomend shear rival and odouds.

1992calebw: You should do other hair product reviews. I personally use Hanz de Fuko.

Christian Chavez: if you want a strong hold get a bottle of layrite cement(matte) or layrite superhold(shiny) it's expensive but you only need a small amount of it

Manraj Toor: Ya richie i think it would be great if u could do this 1 a week

Invalism: what product would you use for thin asian hair?

Oni Joltt: I use the style sexy hair, but instead it comes in a much bigger bottle, because I probably have the thickest hair on the planet, and I'm not Asian.... anyways this stuff works great, I finally am able to put my hair up, because nothing would hold it up, except for stuff wich was basically glue. Literally... it took like 20 minutes to get it out of my hair

DAVID CALDERON: any tips on growing hair? I usually get a 5 on top when I go to the barbershop

Josh Gallardo: man you should try HDF claymation, it's not that cheap, but for thick hair is awesome, people like David Beckham use it

wet food in the sink: omf I cant even control my hair like seriously it stands off from my forehead like a cap-brim and when I try to style it it holds up for like a minute and gets back into its former Position. I tried blow drying it in the right direction but that doesn't work either. I'm thinking about growing it out so I can just put it in a bun.
