Hi everyone welcome back to my channel, i'm andrea ali, i'm a professional makeup artist based in paris, but in today's video i'm going to talk about everything hair for those of you who don't know. Back in january, i gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Who is now seven months old and three months after i gave birth, i've noticed this massive hair loss and i was complaining on instagram stories and a lot of you said that you were going through the exact same thing, but i was mostly afraid because of my Mom after she gave birth to me, she lost about 70 percent of her hair until this day did not grow back, and i know we should not compare experiences. Of course, each pregnancy is different, each person is different, but it's my mom. You know she's, my mom, of course i was thinking i'm going to have the same experience uh as her, so i freaked out. Basically what happens you know in after about three months you gave birth. It feels like all the hair that it grew throughout the pregnancy because in the last three months of pregnancy, you've got like this beautiful, full hair and not even one single hair is falling. I feel like after three months, postpartum you're, starting to lose everything that you were supposed to in. Like short period of time. I would run my hands through my hair and i would every time see a lot of hair coming out and i i was just desperate because if there's anything i love about myself physically, that would be my hair. I think it's my most beautiful feature and i take really really good care of my hair. Now let me tell you about this. One mistake that i did. I was in a funk and i really wanted to do something uh that would sort of improve my look because i hated the way i look after i gave birth. You know i i still had you know a little bit of. I wouldn't call it depression, but i was just in a funk, so i was thinking okay, what's the easiest way to change hair. So i went to my hairstylist and i was asking her to make me blonder, which was the biggest mistake, because my hair was already very fragile. Not only that i i've noticed some massive hair loss, but also guys the shine, the shine of the hair. It was non-existing it just looked so dull and so tired, making it even lighter, which obviously would make your hair even more fragile. It was a big no-no. However, i did it. I regret it now. My hair stylist advised me not to. However, you know when you want a thing you want to think you know, but with everything that i was using um i've started to see again improvements. I i'm getting my hair back guys, i'm getting my hair back and i'm going to tell you every single product that i've used, because if there's anyone who's struggling with the same things, please watch this video. These products helped me a lot. So, let's get into it. First product that i'm going to talk about is this rene. This is called triphasic. Whatever there are ampoules okay, there are ampoules for uh to prevent hair loss. I was talking about this product in my french drugstore must-haves, and i have to tell you these are fabulous. If there's anything in this video that i would tell you to get, it would be this because, one month after i've started to use these my hair, my hair, is not falling anymore. My hair stopped falling after four uses of these now, i'm in my fifth week. So i've used uh today was the fifth one. Actually i just used it today. This comes with a little dropper, you put it on top, and then you know it makes it easier for you to just apply it after you wash your hair while it's still damp but not wet, not dripping wet, just towel uh towel dry, and then you apply This, it's not greasy at all, so don't be afraid that your hair will get greasy and oily not at all, and then you massage it. Okay, i'm sorry for like one or two minutes, and then i move on with the rest of the products that i would normally use for styling and everything else, but listen! This is gold. This is gold. I wish a lot more people talked about it. I only paid 17 euros, but i see that on american websites uh it's much more expensive compared with what i paid it's like 70 euros. Durham store has, i hope they still have a sales event where you have 20 off. If it's still going on. I strongly advise you to get on dermstore and get this product, because it's really really good. When i bought it. I remember they came with the shampoo and, quite honestly i did not touch it. People told me that it was a great shampoo. However, i trust the product that i have been using lately and i really liked it plus the packaging was really not cute to that one. So maybe that you know added to me not using it another product that i've started to use as soon as i have seen, uh the hair loss were these pills, everyone that took for kapil. Everyone says that these are working. However, these are just like. You know supplements you take them after breakfast and i have not been consistent with these because they are pills and i hate to swallow any pills i just hate taking any type of medication. I take it when i have to, but i just don't like to do it, so i would you know i would always forget. That'S when i got back to my ollie nutrition. This is not sponsored, they are not sending me these. I ask a friend to send these from the us uh, because they're obviously cheaper in there. I could eventually get them in in here, but the price is just ridiculous. These heavenly hair - i don't understand how they're working but again about six weeks, i would say after uh eating these, because these are gummies and the thing about these is that i never forget to take them because they're, delicious and six weeks in i see an improvement In how fast my hair grows like super fast, you guys i've cut my hair twice since i gave birth. So in seven months i've cut my hair twice and it's still long, because i i needed to get rid of all the split ends and dry uh ends. So i'm i'm super satisfied with this. I would typically take these for three months and then i take a break and then i take them again um. The reason why i took them this time is because i took them before before a confinement. I remember i would take these and they were just working. So that's why i stopped for capill. That'S the truth and i started to take these but honestly, every person that i know that took appeal said that it's working, that's amazing. It makes your hair grows faster and stronger, so that's it for the supplements uh that i take now. Let'S talk about the products that i actually use for my hair in terms of shampoo, i'm not gon na lie. This is this. Is my go-to? I use another one, the moroccan oil repair that i have it in the shower uh, but this this is pretty much my favorite because it's hydrating um, it's easy. You know how i know if i like a product, if i like a shampoo or not, because every time i wash my hair, i use conditioner right so the way i know a shampoo it's working for me is right. After i wash my hair. I love that silky feeling and i love the shine. If a shampoo is good, then my hair, especially the root where you can see my natural hair color. I have a nice shine, i'm not talking about the length because for for the length, i use a lot of products, but on my root i never use anything on this part of my hair. So that must be the shampoo, and i really like this cocoa and eve like a virgin, it's called super hydrating shampoo and yes, it's a super hydrating shampoo that i cannot recommend enough. The same from the same brand. I use this miracle hair elixir. It'S a very lightweight hair oil. That'S how i would describe it. I apply a little bit and then i run my fingers through my hair. Like this again, i notice really nice shine. I mean for the damage that i have created to my hair. To have this shine. That'S that's, you know, that's impressive, listen and then, let's talk about like hair, masks and stuff. Recently i've started to use don't despair, repair from briojio which listen i really like. So i wash my hair with this. I towel dry it. I apply this for like 10 minutes and then 10 minutes uh in the shower. You know i do a scrub or whatever i rinse it, and then i use a hair mask and this one from amica. There'S no better mask, there is no better mask. There is no better mask anika. Listen! I tried everything. You know me. I really spend my own money plus i am sent so many products, kerastase um l'oreal moroccan oil. I have this one that i like a lot, but you know when i use them both like one time. I use this and then one time i use this, i'm like no. No, no there's definitely like this is better. I'M not saying this is bad because i feature this in other videos. It'S great, it's hydrating, but this is even better. So don't sleep on this hair mask if you want super shiny, smooth, silky, hair, fantastic, super hydrating as well. This is a hair mask that i use not when i wash my hair. I use this a night before i wash my hair. I talked about this so often that i feel uh. You know that i'm repeating with this hair mask it's my third, it's my third mask. I have recently uh opened this it's from sicily. It'S called hair, ritual hair and scalp care anyway. The thing is that this is very expensive, so i just need to tell you this um i like to apply it the night before, like i said, i saturate my hair with this, and then i braid it. I sleep. I typically put a towel on my pillow um, because obviously this is very, very hydrating and then i wake up. I go straight into the shower wash my hair, the hydration, the shine. No, it's incredible, especially if you have damaged hair, do yourself a favor and use this one. If you can afford it, i don't want people to to have like fomo from this product and then, when i style my hair, i use the invisible oil primer. This is from bumble and bumble, and i really like this product again hydrating. I love that it protects my hair from the styling tools that i use and this so these are the only products that i use. I feel like. I have to talk about the products that i've stopped using, not because they're not good, but because, while i'm regrowing my hair, i kind of stopped using dry texturizing hairspray. I also stopped using dry shampoo because they have alcohol and it will dry out my hair. I don't want that so for a period of time i put a pause on these and i suggest you, if you're experiencing a lot of dryness in your hair, maybe use less dry shampoo, use less styling tools. I try to let my hair air dry and then i would only use the round brush from the dyson air wrap only a little bit for my ends, or i would take my curling iron uh. Take it to the lowest heat and then just go through the ends a little bit, but when it comes to drying my hair, i let it air dry as much as possible. Another product that i forgot to bring here is the hair turban. I forgot the name of the brand is aqueous or something like this, but guys that makes a big difference, because, first of all that hair towel will absorb five times faster, the water in your hair. Second, it you know, your hair is the most fragile when it's wet, so by keeping it in a in a towel. That'S going to absorb all the all the water you're going to make your hair obviously dry faster, and you you prevent it from over. Using again the hair dryer, so that's that's pretty much it i wanted to be. You know short and sweet for this video because uh i haven't, talked to you in a while about my hair care, but that was that that's pretty much it. I think i covered everything. Oh one thing that i also stopped doing after i gave a birth i've seen myself, because you know i had so much hair loss um. I would find myself you know using an elastic super super tight, just to make sure that my all my hair is like away from the face. You know. While i was breastfeeding and everything i don't do that anymore. Now, if i want my hair away from my face, i use something like this and that's it. That is it. That'S how i keep. I know it doesn't. Look, you know pretty, but first this will give you volume not that i love volume. I hate volume and now after uh all the treatment that uh i took, i have so much baby hair that it's sort of pushing the the hair from the root and it looks like i have so much volume. But honestly it's just here because, like i said i have so much baby hair when it comes to volume here i don't have that much anyway. I think that's an important thing not to pull your hair too much because it creates tension and if your hair is fragile anyway, you know it's going to break easy, so use this or like a silky scrunch. You know something: that's not too tight. All right. That'S it if you have any questions, please let me know in the comments. I'D love to answer stay away from the scammers that are replying to your comments, telling you that you want something. Unless you hear it from me, there is no giveaway, no prize, nothing going on. Okay. Thank you. So much for watching. Please give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it. Follow me on instagram and tick. Tock i'll see you guys in my next one bye,

Eleni Fl: I love it when you go crazy, can't recommend products enough and literally articulate every single syllable of the brand ! We get the message girl ! You are so elegant, kind, always minding your audience's feelings, naturally chic and yet so fun to watch! <3

Diana Moldovan: Have no problem with hair loss, haven’t been pregnant ever but I still had to watch this video just because… it’s you! You look amazing. Thank you for reminding people about scammers.

TK: I read this book when I had my first child, "The New Mother's Body Book" it helped a lot as I was young and knew next to nothing. In it, they say we lose 100 strands a day, but in postpartum as catch-up we lose 600 a day. That helped me rationalize. What they don't tell you is the facial hair doesn't fall out until you're done breastfeeding. Now, I'm in peri-menopause and the hair has different issues. Integrating gray with minimal damage as everything is drier - that's a situation.

Cynthia Solomon: My kids are in their 20s but I went through the same thing when they were born and it came back. Acupuncture helps a lot with post partum - the herbs they prescribe to take in hot water as well. It’s great for balancing hormones & reducing stress = great hair in no time

Samantha Whang: I had the same thing - didn’t lose a single hair while pregnant, then I started losing all my hair after giving birth. Thankfully I had way too much hair to begin with and it’s wavy, so after losing 25% I still have a very full head of hair. And another bonus is that my body hair is lighter and thinner too.

Andreea Negrila: I also take pride in my hair and like to keep it strong and shiny, but about 3 months after a surgery, disaster struck and hair started falling out in clumps. I knew it was 'normal' and I did expect it, but it was no less terrifying Nothing that I had used before surgery seemed to work anymore in regard to hair growth (or maybe I just didn't have enough patience to let it work) and then I remembered you talked about Forcapil. I started seeing results a month into the treatment ♥ And as a bonus my nails have never looked better, especially the toenails that were really affected by all the hiking I did. Thank you

IOANNA KALOGERAKI STYLIST: I don't have issues with hair loss but the turban you recommend changed my hair time ( -30%) - I have a lot of mid thick,Mediterranean, wavy, frizzy hair. I also recommended it to some of my styling clients with different hair types and they were all satisfied with the results! btw, for my hair Kerastase nutritive hair mask for thick hair is the best. It also has an iridescent veil to it. I highly recommend it for women with my hair type.

Pap Pyone: I’ve heard that Hair shedding during pregnancy slows down a lot because everything is in a growth phase. When we deliver we shed that hair. Thanks for all the tips. Your hair always looks beautiful!

Susan Bowman: You’re the perfect embodiment of divine feminine, Andreea, and it shows! You gave birth to a beautiful baby boy which in and of itself is miraculous. Keep a positive mindset during this process (my hair is strong, shiny and healthy) as with anything in life positive affirmations and outlook make a huge difference in our success. That way the universe conspires to make it become a reality. Lastly for those with budgetary restraints Beauty Pie has affordable hair loss ampules as well. Much love to you as well as hugs and kisses for sweet baby Eden!

HaydeecantaDios.: Oh my goodness!!! You are so my little Angel! I was looking at my hair and I had so much but lately after I had covid my hair is thinning!! I needed it! Thank you I will come back to let you know after I tried it!

Leonora Bruno: Dear Andreea, try brown millet seeds (there are also capsules, but since you detest them as much as I do, there is no point in mentioning). My homeopath recommended them to me and I assure you they are a panacea for hair/skin/nails! You can grind them (more or less fine) and then put them in granola (or müsli), in yoghurt, in salads or even make scones, pizzas, etc. Try taking them every day, for a couple of months... and then let us know. Love from Rome/Italy

Judith Byerly: Thank you for this wonderful video!! My hair loss is mostly from a thyroid issue and I too hate to see my hair falling out. I am a grandma with long hair (young or old;) we love our long hair. I understanding more & more why older women cut their hair. Thank you for sharing your hair care with us! As always you are beautiful & your hair is gorgeous!! What I find so interesting in your videos is you are beautiful inside as well as outside! Love & Blessings! ❤️

Julie J: i had long hair (just as you now), but after giving birth, i lost so much that i had to go to a dermatologist. And i cut them, i got a long bob and after months and through pills and topic products, went better. I kept the long bob because i realized i look much younger!!

Lula Beauty: Andreea, your makeup looks incredible here! Tutorial please! You’re positively glowing!

Paula Murray: Thank you so much for taking the time to list all of these products… I intend to buy all of them… I did not give birth but at this point in my life I am finding that I am losing my hair and it is so frightening this gives me hope … I can’t thank you enough you are wonderful

Relaxing London Vibes With Rahat : I am watching your vlogs for quite a while now .I am so glad you got your hair back really useful tips and info about the products .

Claudia Summers: I'm suffering from a bit of hair loss now after my surgery. I was interested in the Rene Furterer Triphasic Reactional Serum but noticed it contains Alcohol Denatured - which is very drying to the hair. I'm not sure what benefit the addition of alcohol in this serum provides. So glad it is working for you. You have the most gorgeous hair of anyone I follow.

Patty Mulcahy: Thank you for this! I’m losing lots of hair due to weight loss surgery and I’m not able to get the protein I need! I do take biotin but it’s not helping so I’m definitely looking into these ampules!

Ruth Logan: Sweet Andreea! Although you are absolutely gorgeous and beyond talented your most "beautiful feature" is your personality and your loving heart. I will definitely be ordering your suggestions. Thank you.

Delia Nedelcu: I'm really impressed with your hair. I love the shine, the silkiness, the length... everything about it. I really want to try the products. I'm just wondering since I haven't looked yet (it's super late right now & I'm tired)... Are these products tested on animals and organic. What are the ingredients in general. Obviously I will look at the links myself, but was curious to see if they are as close to natural as possible...

R. H.: Thank you for this amazing video I'm so happy you posted this as I missed your hair care routine on your story..you look great ❤

Jenn: "F.O.M.O."...Always...for all the products you talk about I wish more people would talk about these things! I had no idea what was happening after I had my first baby! You're doing the world a service!

nadiadncr: Great tips thank you for sharing I remember losing my hair when I gave birth. You are amazing

Gab Martínez: Thank you Andrea for all these great tips!

Hazy dreamer: Chére Andreea, I loved this video and I am more than grateful for your tips. I certainly need strength, hydration, and something else for my hair. I used to have thick, healthy hair all my life, but chemo therapy took off 50 % of it. Now the hair that grew back is like thin baby hair. I can go to a hairdresser, get curls or a great cut, - by the time I am back home my hair hangs there straight and dry. I feel and look pretty for max.30 minutes. What you see in the picture, was 5 yrs ago. Now the length is touching my earlobes and my hair growth is appr. 1 cm per year. On the other hand, why should I moan or complain? Isn´t it more important the fact I am 1again 100 % healthy! Have a nice summer and enjoy little Eden.

Monika Klas: I had the same issue with my hair after pregnancy, but after your Frech drugstore video I bought these Triphasic ampoules and my hair stopped to fall after 3weeks, also I bought for a very good 42€ price Also after your video I bought Coco & Eve mask for the first time, and I can say that this is the best mask for my long blonde hair. I mean my hair is healthy but I just can’t remember when my hair was sooo silky. And hair oil just wow And that smell…I think this is the best smell that I ever smelled on the hair care product I just want to smell my hair all the time, hahaha Many years I also was stucked on Kerastase and Loreal but these product is very strong and seems that the more I use them the more my hair go worse. Also used Amika but absolutely not impressed with any product from this brand But I love Briogeo, this brand has so much good products By the way don’t go back to dark hair, you look soo beautiful with blonde hair. I think this is the best your hair look ✨‍♀️

Lucy Prill: A specialist for hair care in my country said that we should fan dry our hair because if you air dry your hair, the scalp is wet for a long time and then the yeast cells proliferate and then you may suffer dandruff‍♀

Anna Ardelean: I’ve lost most of my hair a year/year and a half after giving birth and breastfeeding ( I was so happy that I didn’t lose hair straight after but it happened later… though it grew back in a while

M San: Your hair is so beautiful! Thank you very much for your videos!! They show how much you care about your viewers. Thank you for your amazing content!!

A3N: Dear Andreea. Thank you for your videos. Regarding your mother - most women experience hypothyroidism during pregnancy, which can last up to a year after pregancy before it resolves itself. There are however some women who continue to have hypothyroidism for the rest of their lives. It might be worth getting a thyroid function test done by her physician. Kind regards.

jo78jo76jo70: The Renée furterer one reminds me of the ones from Vichy energizing shampoo and they also have ampoules I believe. E'ver since I started using the shampoo my hair loss decreased drastically. Definitely gonna try the furterer ampoules because I like to stick to my hydrating shampoo as well.

Ludmila Guimarães: These types of videos are gold! I know you show us how you style your hair on instagram but could you do a video showing us here on YouTube? I don’t know if you already have one up but I’ll look it up lol ❤️

Αννίτα Μπατάλια: Also after giving birth and breastfeeding vitamin d is very low. What really helped me is vitamin d supplement. The one that you spray under the tongue! Very helpful!

Greta Bi: Hey Andrea, thank you for your advices. You can also try the karité hair mask from The Body Shop, it is quite cheap. But what does wanders to hair are the herbs, like cassia, shikakai, kapoor. They’re a bit annoying and messy to use, but your hair literally REBORN after the very first use!!!

Ashlee Albertson: Super helpful video. I’ve experienced some hair loss and change in hair thickness from moving to a new state with different water hardness. Will try some of these!

Erika Hinteregger: Hi Andreea I'm in exact your situation . Just a question I've been using the sisley mask since a while. Is it OK adding to my hair routine the amika mask as well as the don't despair repair product and the bubble and bubble one , or it's too much? Thanks for being such a source of inspiration

Dr Sowmya Sri: Love your hair and everything about you:)) Your recommendations are 100% I trust and bought so many products from your videos & oh boy! I never regretted. Lots of love.

Tamara Kopaleyshvili Gulbis: ORIBE HAIR ALCHEMY. You need to try it, it’s new products and they are like nothing I’ve tried before. My hair is incomparably stronger, healthier and shinier with them than anything else. Andrea, you’ll love them. Virtue products are really good for damaged hair too, the mask is amazing. ❤️

Amela Terzić-Šabić: The way you say "my baby boy and my mum" ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.The best products help us of course, but love is such spice in each of them.

Jen: If you need a dry shampoo without alcohol look for one made with starches and powders such as Briogeo scalp revival dry shampoo. Other brands make them as well.

Trisha Achenbach: That Amika mask is so good. And smells so good. It's been in my routine for a long time.

Trisha Achenbach: Your hair looks gorgeous!

H Ward: I bought the Coco and Eve shampoo after your recommendation and I absolutely love it!

Jess B: I love the makeup look your are wearing in today's video.. great tips for the hair. I'm definitely going to try these products, eventually!! Got to save upppp!!

IOANA B: Esti superbă!!! . Te admir si te urmaresc cu drag!

Ranell Mueller: I am moving to France in ten days and will be there for three months. I am hoping to purchase the Rene Furterer treatment while I am there and bring some home with me. I believe my hair loss is hormone-related, simply as a result of turning 40. Thank you for recommending this.

Carina Rizzi: I love the make up you are wearing in this video. Flawless and glowy. Wish you make one tutorial about this look. I am from Uruguay, South América and always watch you.

Chris Hedges: Hi! Do you use a daily conditioner on the days you don't use a deep conditioner, or do you just go straight into your two styling products after shampooing? Thanks for doing this video!

Paula Froń: You definitely give advice on how to tackle problems that affect so many women. Looking very chic and classy at the same time. The jewellery goes amazingly with that white shirt!

Helen Tsokana: I love your hair Andreea Thank toy for sharing your routine.

Vivian Lamonica: I have had significant hair loss during menopause. Giving birth and menopause are Similar on that hormones are affected. I am going to my dermatologist to see what can be done. I have taken biotin, applied hair serums, used very expensive hair loss shampoos and nothing has worked. Hair loss in my case includes shedding where all my hair falls directly from my scalp. Interesting video. I may have to try some of what you have discussed. Thank you.

LorZZ: This is incredibly useful thank you so much Did the Amika mask today - Stunning!

F Por: I got the money one and loved it!!! Getting Amika asap!! Thank you so much!!!

Ali Rac: In Romania 8 ampules from R.F. Cost approx 38€. Love the shampoo and the conditioner, however I have not used the ampules because I went for Foltene and worked great.

carmencyta: Hi Andreea! Can you let us know about your nails care routine? You always have pretty nails! Thank you!

MH: I'm not suffering from hair loss due to pregnancy but from covid so I bought the René Furterer hair ampules after seeing your video about the French pharmacy products. I've used them twice. It does not make your hair greasy at all, however, I find the smell a bit strange and it will last for like a day and then it goes away. But it's definitely worth it because I've lost less hair. I will go on my third ampule today. Also, want to recommend the Shu Uemura Ultimate Reset series. It's THE BEST. Period. I've used it for about a year and my hair has grown like crazy and I don't experience split ends in the same way even though I've bleached my hair quite a bit :D I can add that I have long, fine, but thick hair. The hair clip tip I also started doing like 6-7 months ago instead of doing slick buns and tight ponytails.

Sienna7: What happens when you stop using the ampules? I get weary about topical treatments only because I hear so many people say they only work only as long as you're on them, and everything goes back once you stop

Jen Jen: Thank you Ali I & lovely news about your sweet son! Im experiencing hair loss & wondering is there a list of the products you mentioned here ?

Jennifer Ann Fox: The reason this happens during and after pregnancy is estrogen levels. During pregnancy estrogen is very high and it keeps hair in the anagen or growth phase. Then with delivery the estrogen drops very low naturally when pregnancy ends. So the hair then goes into telegen phase which is 3 months and then all that hair is shed to restart new hair. Other stages in life such as menopause if you don't replace estrogen the same will happen due to drops in estrogen levels. Many people think prenatal vitamins help their hair during pregnancy but it's the high estrogen levels that support good skin, nails and hair.

MissAtlantique: Good morning beautiful community :) What a useful video as always!
