So I decided to bow to pressure and share some tips and secrets of my natural KINKY 4C hair. Maintaining a natural hair is not as difficult as most people think. I have been on this journey for over 3yrs now and I absolutely love every moment along the way.

Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel so ignore my wish trina my friend just give it to me I'm trying to whispering I'll, probably do a video about it. Let'S see, if I actually succeed in doing it or not, I've tried a few times. I always give up so this time I'm determined to make sure that I succeed so today we're doing a video about my hair, how I've managed to grow. My natural fall see African kinky hair. So a lot of people have been asking me to do videos about my hair. How do I grow my hair? How do I retain my land? What are my hair routines? So here goes. I'Ve been natural for almost 3 years. The one thing we all know about natural hair, especially natural 4c, hey - is this: it's so kinky it shrinkage is a major problem, so I did a bit of blow drying. It has shrunk already in like a few minutes like it was a lot longer than this. When I first did the blow dryer, it's already shrunk, but well that's fine! So what do I do to my hair? How do I retain my length what my hair routine like so first off, I tried to make sure that I wash my hair about twice a month, so once every two weeks, pretty much so sometimes I also do a hot oil, deep conditioning where I'm using just Oils to deep condition my hair, like I said I tend to get dry scalp quite a bit. So I'm like I do my hot oil deep conditioning like once every month, so I use a carrier oil like coconut oil or grapeseed oil or olive oil, and then I put some essential oils. I put a few drops of peppermint oil or, what's the other oil again tea tree oil. So I put a few drops of those oils in my carrier, oil and I start with my scalp. I make sure that it's saturated with oil and my hair, all of my hair, has the oil and then, of course, I put it in a shark cup or a heats cup, wrap it up with towels and make sure that it stays heated. Now just go about. My daily routine keep the heat going, you know, walk around do stuff and then my head gets really really warm, because you know all the movement and everything and then I wash it off after maybe like an hour or so it depends. I could leave it. It just depends on what I'm doing that day and then so I what I do is I put my hair in twists before I wash it. So I don't because my hair is so kinky and it's quite tough to manage. I don't just wash the hair like this, so I put it into it and then I wash it in the tray. So it's it's more manageable that way. So I course when I'm washing off my hot oil treatment, I don't wash off. I don't use a shampoo anymore, so I just I just raised it as a rinse out really so I just rinse it out so that way, some of the oil is actually retained. In my hair and my scalp and one more thing that I do is that my spray bottle this is my best friend like I go everywhere with her. I, like, I can't do without my spray bottle. Your hair gets. Your hair gets really really dry. Now, if your hair is dry, it's going to get split ends and it's going to break and if you breaks there is no length retention. So you're going to feel like your hair is not great when it really is. Our hair grows about half an inch to three quarters of an inch every month, but if you don't take care of your hair you're good, your hair is going to break. There will be no length retention, so you're not going to see growth so make sure that you always moisturize your hair needs a lot of water like your hair, really really, especially if you have 4c kinky African hair. Like me, your hair needs a lot of water, so my daily routine, is it doesn't matter what shut my head or what staked my hazing? It was in twist, if he's in cornrows, whatever I spray my hair, like I suck my hair with water morning and night, I add some leave-in conditioner and then I seen it with also my grapeseed oil on my coconut oil or my olive oil and then make Sure that I do that morning and night, so if you have 4c hair like I do you're leaving conditioner is another best friend like you really can't do without your dipping conditioner. So people say to me all the time. Oh my name, I hair is so tough. It'S not manageable, it's so kinky. I can't call my hair. My hair looks this way because there's leaving conditioner in my like really if I don't put leave-in conditioner, my fingers cannot even go through my hair, like it would just get stuck and it won't move cuz. Our hair is top and it's kinky, so you have to use living conditioner everyday, really for your hair to be manageable, and another thing that I try to do quite often is protective styling. Everyone knows how much I love my hair. I really really love my hair. Like I wish I could cover my hair every day. My natural hair is just my thing. I really love it, but I have to realize that over manipulation actually makes the hair break and if your head is breaking like, I said, there's no length retention, so you think it's not growing. So what I try to do is what we call protective styling. So sometimes I put it in twist and then just carry it like that for a while without unraveling and twisting again and doing twist outs or none of those things all I just have cornrows and then I wear week sometimes so that way, your hair is resting. You'Re not over, manipulating because of a manipulation of course, like I said, would cost your hair to break. So I try to make sure that as much as I love to have my big flow out there, you know I really hey and just really enjoy. I still make time to put protective styling so that my hair gets some rest. So another thing is really treat your hair with care like be gentle with your hair. So when you want to detangle make sure that you know you're not just going at it with a comb, but just you know, try to combat out and know that you can. You can spray it with some water or they they're these detangle eyes in the market, that you know there's some like spray, some sort of liquid detangler. You can spray that on your hair and you know just take it in little bits and the tangle. You know just like this, like you know the tangled it with your finger detangling so detangle it with your fingers first and then, when it's all nice and easy, you can then go with a comb. If you must some people don't agree. Just come on your hair. Hey guys come back, I got someone to help me put my hand con Bruce because I'm traveling very early in the morning tomorrow and yeah. So I'm here now, where were we? We talked about washing your hair conditioning, leaving conditioners deep conditioning hot oil treatments, spray bottles and moisturizing your hair, and I love that we talk about tangling and now I want to talk a little bit about multivitamins, so our bodies generally need vitamins. We'Ll all know that, right from wrong with small thank you saying, eat your fruits and veggies, because you need all the vitamins right. But you know we go around by seed beads we're busy. Sometimes we don't really eat the right stuff or we don't have time to eat the stuff that will give us all the necessary vitamins that our body needs, because our hair is a living organism, so it has. It needs all those vitamins as well. So we can supplement with some heavier means. Some people take vitamins, hair, skin and nails. Also, some vitamins. I take some vitamins as well just make sure that the vitamins you're taking all the most vitamin Ian has some biotene you need so because that helps with growth. As well, but make sure you speak to your doctor before taking any medication, and so it doesn't matter, I chose vitamins or whatever make sure that you speak to your doctor before you go on any sort of medication whatever it is in addition to taking your vitamins And eating right, you know I I really really try to eat right. I try to get enough fruits and veggies in salads, it's seasonal fruits. Whatever is in season. I eat I drink a lot of water. Water is so important. You cannot over emphasize the importance of water if you don't drink enough water, your hair is dry, your scalp is dry, your hair is unhealthy and unhealthy hair doesn't grow. You know so make sure you drink a lot of water. I mean I struggled a little bit with dry scalp and I drink a lot of water. Imagine if I drink, I imagine if I didn't drink enough water, it would be a disaster. You know so make sure you drink enough water, it's good for your hair. It'S good for your general well-being, it's good for your health. You know I can't a volume for size importance of water. I think I drink pretty much water and see that's mostly what I drink, I'm not really big um for disease. It'S something that I drink. A lot of water and a lot of so one more thing that I try to do is massage my scalp. I massage my scalp with essential oils, mostly because you need that blood circulation for for growth. Really so you know sort of like stimulating the follicles and - and it's just I think it helps with the growth of your hair, because I know that has helped me times when I don't do it. You know how you can get lazy and you're just like. Oh and not really my scent in my hair, and I don't do it for like whole month or more, I don't see as much growth as when I'm consistent with the intern. I'M really doing it and exercise helps as well. Trust me exercise not just good for only your body and your general well-being and your health. It actually helps your hair grow as well, because, of course, it also stimulates growth. You know so make sure you get your exercise in and make sure you drink lots of water and make sure you eat your fruits and veggies and believe me, you will see growth and you will retain growth when your hair is healthy. So I'm gon na be doing more videos, if you want me to do more. Videos like this is about my natural hair and even my natural hair styles, and how I style my hair myself and all of that please. Let me know in the comment section - and I will do more videos like this, for you and don't forget to subscribe. And please pray more for me coz mine it's so fine, low density and curly and no matter how many jbco treatments I do ain't having none of that lion hair type of a head I so desperately want plus I am tired of people asking me if my hair is real natural! !!

Bizz: 4C hair from 9ja here with its kinkiness. Infact I believe my hair should not be touch as i feel that i am a natural 'Dada' or dreads. My hair doesnt split but it has multiple knots in a single strand. I don't always manipulate as even after combing, it crinkies back together at the ends to form a tangle. My hair is thick, full (front n back), coarse, always dry, shrinkage is massive, scalp is dry and sensitive when irritated or pulled. It's a challenge and tough. Have been natural on and off throughout my life as the creme crack always did bad justice to my hair/scalp. So I became a permanent hair natural 10yrs ago.
