The only difference between my hair and hers is that I feel like I have way more shrinkage than her. My hair is about two inches shy from bra strap length but when my hair is wet, it’s at the top of my ear.

I don't say that in an attacking way but when someone who really does have 4C hair tries to look up videos to learn about their own hair type it is frustrating when people who have a looser curl pattern than yours are trying to tell you that their hair type is yours when you just know it isn't. if I were you I would just label your videos as type 4 so you don't lead people astray.

Abi A: 4C hair is beautiful and your hair is beautiful too but it just doesn’t look 4c, I have a similar texture to you - yes 4c hair can have curls and coils but in general they are smaller as much as your hair is coarse - I have very similar texture to you but I deffo wouldn’t class that as 4c ppl are frustrated because sometimes they look for style inspo on 4c hair gehl but they might find you and sometimes get disappointed and that doesn’t mean they don’t like your content but they want hair that looks like theirs when it’s moisturised (like KandiKinks) people confuse texture and curl pattern)- the best is just to say type 4 hair - so you will be getting these comments as ppl with 4c cannot relate - I have many friends with 4c hair not dry but in general their hair wouldn’t look like mine and it’s always very moisturised and soft - just food for thoughts
