Wow, hey guys so today I am reviewing the Jamaican black, castor oil conditioning mask so before I started the mask. I washed my hair and I conditioned and detangled it with the coconut and hibiscus line, which is the orange bottles from Shea Moisture. Just to make sure my hair was clean, conditioned and thoroughly detangled before I used a deep conditioning mask so, as you can see here, I'm twisting up each section that I finished distributing the mask in just to keep it from getting tangled again. So I'm trying my best to distribute the mask from my roots, all the way down to my ends, because I want to make sure I get all up in here, because all of it really does need a nice deep conditioning, I'm not too too focused on the Ends especially because I'm getting them trimmed soon, but I do want to make sure I get all of my hair. So I'm nodding in agreeing right here because I'm in the middle of watching a cheesy video Chizzy is a tight for natural hair youtuber. And so, if you're somebody who has type for natural hair, then she's somebody you should watch in addition to me after you subscribe to my channel because she's just really amazing - and you know, as somebody with type 4 hair, it's just really hard to find young type. 4, hair youtubers. So this is what my hair looks like when it's all done, and I'm also going back and putting more of the mask on my edges. Just to make sure all of my hair is moisturized and covered and, like I said it doesn't need to be neat at all. Now that my mask is done. I'M gon na use the Shea Moisture peace rose. Oil, complex sensitive skin mask just to you know, give myself something to do while my hair is deep conditioning and you know self care, so I'm gon na leave the mask in for about 50 minutes, but you're supposed to leave it in for 30 minutes. But I forgot so you can leave it in for 30 minutes with no heat or you can heat it up and and leave it in for 15 to 20 minutes. So now I'm taking my hair out of the twists, and I was as you can tell by my reaction. I was so surprised at how soft my hair was. It was just so soft. It even defined my curls a little bit and it was just it was just such an amazing feeling and I think it might be even better if you sit under a dryer for about 15 minutes or even you know, use a blow dryer on a low setting. Just to warm up the mask bit, my hair really just looked really great. I was really just surprised at how much it defined my curls and just you know how full and moisturize my hair really looked after about 50 minutes. So since this is a mask - and it's not just your normal, you know conditioner, it is a lot thicker, so it did take a bit of time to really wash it out, and I wanted to make sure that I washed out the majority of it because to Have it sitting on your scalp could probably really cause some buildup, and then you have to end up washing your hair again, so make sure when you do wash it out that you really have to wash it out very thoroughly because it is very thick. So this is some snap cam from later in the day, and my hair is almost dry, so you can see some of the products in my hair as its drying, I used some leave-in and some moisturizer and I didn't even have to use any type of gel To define my curls and it was just really moisturized and it was really great as always. Thank you guys so much for watching, don't forget to subscribe, and I will see you next time.
