Watch as I show you another combination style with braids and two strand twists that gives the edges break

Hey guys and welcome back to little brown girl, 4c hair care yeah today we're going to be doing a 2 style. Do we're gon na be braiding up and doing two strands in the front. One of the main reasons for this style is to keep tension off the edges. So, if you're in the position, where I'm sorry for the background noise to where you don't want a lot of tension on the edges, you see how hers are just kind of thin and just small right here. Your best bet is to not do styles that put tension there, so I'm just gon na braid the back up and do two strings in the front so that hurt it just can't get a break. So here we go alright guys before we get this video even good and started. I need to put just a small disclaimer in this video there's going to be noise. There are going to be people talking, there's going to be videos playing in the background. I apologize up front for the chaos of this video, but just know in a perfect world there would be great lighting and it would just be me and grace in a room surrounded by products and barrettes and baubles, but that is not the life I'm living. Okay. My daughter gets her hair done sometimes at 10 o'clock at night, which is what time it is when I'm shooting this video and people are just running around like chickens with their head cut off alright. So I just want you to know that if I had it my way there would be no distractions. It would just be me and grace doing hair, but because we live in a household with 5 6 7 other people, that's just not the way it works back to your regular, scheduled programming. The first step is to create a part from ear to ear, so that you can separate what you're going to twist from what you're going to braid for this particular style. I'M gon na braid, her hair in towards the center and then make a big braid going up so it'll be small braids one into one big braid. In order to do that and have enough hair kind of to braid, I usually part a section down the center and I plat that hair so that I have hair to make the braid fool. So I'm going to show you what I mean all right, so I have these two sections separated so that you can see this center section that I've created here and so from here. I'M just gon na take pieces, apply my hair crack and play. As you can see, I've planted the middle section down now. I didn't need to plant it all the way to the end, because it's just gon na be in the braid anyway. But that's kind of what that looks like my next step is to start at the the base near the neck and just make parts inwards and plaque going in the direction of the center. So I'm just going to play in all the way up. Alright, so guys you could do whatever to the front grace lips ponytail! That'S where hair is in front of Jill's in the front, but you can let it down put some edge control on it. Pin it up on one side, you know just do what you do, but this is a great hairdo that gives you versatility and it allows you to moisturize your daughter's hair throughout the week.
