When it comes to growing long and healthy hair using oils the thing that makes the biggest difference in your hair, I already did this video a while ago, but it's old and I'm not so happy with it. So I thought I would take the chance and redo it in English this time. So this is my very first English video I'm only getting used to it. Please be kind. There are a lot of different oils. You could use for your hair and a lot of different ways to include them in your haircare and not. Every combination works for every hair type, and sometimes it can be even better to combine the oil with something else. But today, I'm just going to focus on using pure oil, try different oils to find your perfect match like olive oil, which is rather heavy or jojoba oil, which is a light one. Now let down your hair and get started with the first variation. You could just use oil in between your washes in your dry hair. My hair really likes it to get some oil every now and then so I split it in half and bring it to the front. I always start with detangling my hair. Now I take a small amount of oil, spread it over my fingers and distribute it in my hair. I only use it below my ears, so the hair, my head, won't look crazy afterwards, don't use too much. I rather prefer to repeat the step several times with tiny amounts of oil. My favourite oil for this step is the coconut oil from monoi. I love it so much, there's a whole video about it, but I also really like almond oil or argan oil for this using oil on dry hair adds a lot of shine. I especially like this when I break my hair afterwards. This way the oil can also sink in very good, especially if I, for example, use too much if your hair needs more care, you could also do with some kind of deep conditioning before washing it. I have several recipes so using more than just oil for scalp and leg treatments, because oil on its own is not always the best solution, but you can check them out later and just start with one single ingredient for your hair. So for the length it's almost the same treatment like I'm doing in between my washes, I'm only using a much bigger amount of oil if you're doing a treatment like this, your hair might look greasy, but you will only let it sink in, for let's say 1 Or 2 hours and wash it out afterwards, so no problem here. Additionally, I like to spread some oil on my scalp using my fingertips for my scalp care. I like to use some kind of basic oil and add some drops of essential oils like lavender rosemary. I like to dip my fingers into it and just massage it into my scalp, take some time at this step and give yourself a nice scalp massage, because this can also stimulate blood flow, which is also really good for growing your hair, especially when you tend to Have a dry scalp: it can be that you set some down, drops free, like you, can see here with me, but they will be gone after the wash once your hair is all oily. It'S time to, for example, put it up, sit back, relax and let it sink in for one to two hours or if you have the possibility, let it sink in overnight. You should only all your scalp right before washing your hair, because this will always let your hair look crazy. Now wash your hair thoroughly to remove all the extra oil now last but not least, oiling your hair right after washing it. I prefer to do this when my hair is still really really bent, but be careful in this condition. It'S hard to find the right amount of oil. You will not be able to recognize if it was too much oil. You will only see it once your hair is dry and then it's too late so start with small amounts. If you're doing this on wet hair, you can keep your hair really nice, hydrated and smooth perfect for this purpose is the loc method. Loc stands for liquid oil and cream - I'm not always doing oiling before my wash, but I try to never skip this step. So the first step is liquid. As my hair is wet, there is no need to add extra liquids, but you could, for example, use aloe vera next step is oil, so I take a tiny amount of oil and spread it in my hair, as already mentioned, don't use too much oil in this Step, especially as the loc method is really nurturing, I'm using my monoi coconut oil. The last step is cream. The one thing that might sound strange when you hear it first, you could apply any kind of cream to your hair like hand cream or body lotion, but I prefer to use special hair creams. My favorite hair creams are the R & B, a hair cream from lush, which is really really rich and nourishing for your hair and the desert. Essence: coconut lotion, which is a little bit lighter. If you never used some kind of cream for your hair, you could try it on dry hair, first to get some kind of feeling, but the result is way better. If you combine it like that, if your hair up yours oily when it's dry, you could, for example, spray it with some of my protein leave-in. This helps the oil to sink in so now, you've seen all my basic steps. How I include oil in my hair care doing so was the first and I think, most important step for me to grow long and healthy hair, and you could just start right away because you probably have some oil in your cupboard. I started with olive oil and moved on from there testing different oils. My favorite oils right now are coconut almond and argan oil, but sometimes I like to include lighter oils like jojoba oil or babassu oil. If you're going for really rich care, you could also take avocado and olive oil. Last but not least, I have those two oils from kadhi the vitalizing and the Amla hair oil, I'm using those for scalp treatments, especially so now I'm curious, please let me know if you tried one of the steps. I showed you and what are your favorite kind of hair oils? Just write me in the comments be sure I will read every single comment you write also. Let me know if you want to redo me, another haircare, video of mine in English. If you like to also subscribe, that would make me really happy and you would never again miss any of my videos until then see you next time have fun. Let your hair grow long and healthy.

Mme.Tenebrae: The braid in the beginning is pure perfection Ö.Ö

Venus Mathews: I've watched your classic braid over and over again. But I've never gotten it right. I would really appreciate it if you could do it in English please. Thank you. I love your hair btw! Looks long strong and healthy❤️

Determined DIYer: Your English is perfect, just like your hair.

The Edwardian Writer: An awesome video! Definitely the most comprehensive oil-treatment video I've ever seen, which is wonderful because I live in a dry climate with dry skin and my hair doesn't like it much either. I've had a bottle of argon oil knocking around because I heard from other people on YouTube that it is useful for hair, but never really understood how to use the oil. Thank you for clarifying and I would love to see more of your videos in English! This was amazing!

Sharon Mynes: Thank you so much for this video! Your hair is beautiful and I really like the information you shared. I'm growing my hair out again after a major hair cut a couple years ago. It's not nearly as long as yours but it will be!

Alicia G: Thank you so much for the English explanation! I'm trying to take better care of my hair and your videos always help a lot. :)

Elle: I haven't been able to put oil in my hair recently, I watched one of your other videos where you talked about things you don't want in your shampoo/conditioner and found out there was silicone in my hair oil. It was a sad day. I'll have a chance to get something new soon though! :) I love your videos!!

Silvy: Thank you, I appreciate you took the time and effort to make English video's as well c:

FairHairedDane: I have tried the L (aloevera and or just water like you said in the video) and O (coconut oil, but only in the smallest amounts because it's very heavy for my hair) from the LOC method, but after seeing this I think I might go out and try to look for a cream :) PS. your English is really good and well articulated!

Inger Haugland: I love that you did the video in english! I have watched your videos for some time and always loved them, but now it was so much easier to understand. So thanks a lot!

megbethw1982: Thanks for a useful video! I'm trying to get my waist length hair to classic length, and your videos are helping. My favorite oil is the Vatika enriched coconut hair oil with organic unrefined coconut oil a close second. I use it on my scalp at least once a week for dandruff.

Dr.Sindhura Pothineni: Your english is perfect ,nothing to worry about

Bethany Rutta: Thank you so much for doing this oil video in English! I’m loving all your videos and styles! Beautiful!

Kelly: I also use oil in my hair, although I am still experimenting with how much at what times, and what kind of oil my hair likes best. Your English is perfect, so no worries there. :) I like videos in English, but I like the other ones too. Your videos are very easy to understand because you so often show what you're doing, so the language is less important to me. :)

Phil Sorensen: Jojoba oil seems to be a perfect match for my fine hair. What a great idea, coconut hand crean as a finish. A+. Thanks for the great tips! My hair is so much healthier. The scalp scrub makes a huge difference wirh my hair growth/health.

Diksha M L: Please do more videos in English. I started doing the LOC treatment for my hair and it is so much healthier. Thank you so much !

Leah McLean Tewari: This was an excellent video! Your hair is absolutely gorgeous and amazing! I love coconut oil from Monoi as well! Every oil you use is exactly what I use and I have kinky/curly afro-textured hair. I also use LOC method to retain moisture. I use Amla, rosemary, melaleuca, peppermint, lavender, Jasmine essential oils. And love jojoba, coconut, olive oil, Macadamia oil, Argan, Sweet Almond, Neem, vitamin E, Avocado oil, Grapeseed oil, Jamaican Black Castor oils. And I must use Shea Butter no matter what! Shea Butter completely reduces shedding and is a natural fat with so many vitamins- it is better than cocoa butter. Shea Butter is also a natural sunscreen and I use it all over. Oils have always been important in our hair regimen for generations. Your English is perfect. Please make more videos in English! Thank you from Florida in United States!

Marleen G.: I loved the English video! Thank you. And your English is just fine!!! :D I use baby oil for something called the rinse-out oil method (10 drops of it). It works great. Rinse out oil means you wash your hair, then put on the oil, rinse, then put on your conditioner; it is very moisturizing. I only put it on the last 3/4 inches of my hair.

Z J: This video was very informative! I use almond or argon oil on my hair before I braid it, because it is the only oils that doesn't leave my hair greasy. Yes, please make more videos in English!

Jens Unique Nibbles and More: I did the LOC method today and my hair felt so soft, and my braid stayed nicer without so many bits sticking out as time went on. Your English was great! Funny thing, I keep remembering it as LOL (liquid, oil, lotion) well anyway it works

PC Henderson: I recently started using the Tahiti oil in my hair.  I'm very surprised you don't use castor oil for your scalp treatments.  That oil is the only oil I use on my scalp: reduces hair shedding, creates new hair growth, and existing hair grows much faster.   It also seems to help keep dandruff away.  I had dandruff for most of my life until I discovered castor oil.  Now I have none.

Briana Whittaker: Your hair is a good inspiration for those of us growing our hair out!! I love your videos

MsPrajakta8: Your video was great. Please do continue with English video series. Your english speaking subscribers would really love to understand what tips you give in your videos. As usual, your tips were helpful & you do inspire me to grow my hair below my waistline(which I never did before but now it's my goal).

Kaninika Biswas: Looking forward to see your videos in English This one is really a awesome and helpful video Please make the English versions of other videos All your videos are so nice but I face problems in understanding the ingredients that you use since they are in Germany. Thank you for all such informative videos. Lots of love from India ❤️❤️❤️

Tammy Gamble: Yay! So excited for an English video. Thank you for doing it for us! x

sew many hobbies: Thank you for the lovely video! I understand both languages, sp either one of them works! For liquids I have tried blueberry lotion, orange blossom lotion and lemon grass lotion. Trying to find aloe vera asap though... As for oils: I started with olive at first aswell, then went to argan and just now I used Tahitan Vanilla Orchid oil, which definitely smells great! And lastly, I used a vitamin E creme, which would have been put to better use if it were used as a liquid instead. I ran out of Shea butter, oops!

Orianna Tarbert: How long did it take for your hair to get that long? I love your videos by the way!

Valentina Boga: Your hair is stunning, lady! Your plait/braid looked like a thick rope....wow wow wow. thank you for this video. it is truly inspiring! xxx

Bonnie Tuckett: Thank you so much! I really enjoyed the video and can't wait to start oiling my hair! Please make more hair care videos! I loved it

Bree Mulcahy: My hair has been the the same length for 4 years and I can’t do anything to make it grow longer. I hope this video helps.

Kari Moto: I love your video ! I also have long hair but lost terribly much volume after a few surgeries. What do you do to develop and maintain your volume? Do you also follow some type of diet or nutrition plan?

BaLinda Aultman: I think you did great with your English. Can you please do some of your other hair care videos in English. Thank you

morsinvicta: I agree with the girls below, we want more videos in English!❤ I mostly use coconut and castor oil ^^ My hair is past my buttocks but it's not as healthy as yours because I dye it red. So I'm thinking to start dyeing it with henna :)

UbermenschAudiobooks: Yayy you switched to English, too :D Very well done. I also prefer the plain old coconut oil, recently tried the Monoi Oil, infused with sandalwood <3

Zaaria: Man sieht richtig, wie viel Mühe du dir für deine Videos gibst! Ich schau sie mir immer wieder gern an. :)

Maribel Navarro: Loving this channel already! If you haven’t yet, will you do a scalp treatment video in English too? Thanks!

Proverbs Mommy: I love olive oil on my curly hair after washing it. Great tips !

Luna Stella: I would love to see some more videos in English. I also have knee length hair and enjoy you videos tremendously .

Rachel Remy: Thank you so much!! :) I've been translating your blog for the longest. Your English is perfect. Can you do your hair journey video in English please. And the protein treatment recipe.

Leah: Have you tried castor oil in the past? I have heard it is really good to promote hair growth. If anyone has tried that method please let me know! :) <3

Chezamoonangel AiEmma: Your English is really good. My hair loves Neem oil from Amazon cold-pressed. I tried other oils my hair did not like it at all. I use neem oil as a pre-treatment before washing with my anti-brackage shampoo, no conditioner. Hair is growing and hope to reach tail-bone classic length this year.

Lilit H: Your English was amazing and video awesome!! Please keep the English videos coming. I LOVE oiling my hair and do exactly what you do (minus the cream). My favorite is argan, but I usually mix several with each other. Before putting it on my hair, I'll cleanse my face with the oil combination :)

Blue Gomme: MORE ENGLISH VIDEOS PLEASE!! Thank you! <3

AnonymousUser123: Haartraum, you have an amazing head of hair, and you do a fantastic job of styling and caring for it :) And your English is great too :)

Morgan Jones: Amazing video! I've never heard of the LOC method. :o) I would love more tutorials in english!

Samantha Rose: Your English is perfect! Please do more videos in English if you have time. Thank you for sharing how you maintain your beautiful hair! I have hip length hair and I find argan oil is my favourite 'everyday' oil. I also use Lani for my weekly treatments. I'm definitely going to try your tip of using Rosemary oil on my scalp...good idea!

Emma MacGregor: This is so helpful...thank you! Thank you for making English vids. Your ideas are great!

Cheese Puff: Wow, these videos are incredible! Your hair is amazing and your accent is beautiful. I'm going to try the LOC method today after I wash my hair! Thank you for the instructions!

phytia: Yay!Im happy the tutorial is in English

vila111: The only oil I have ever tried is the coconut oil and I use it for the whole length (TBL) including my scalp. It washes out so easily and leaves my hair hydrated and silky smooth. Highly recommend. Regarding the language, either is fine. Maybe English would be more useful for larger audience. Just a thought. Have a great day!

Alexandrina Katardzhieva: I understand basic german and it's hard sometimes to connect it all. Absolutely would love to watch a video about thin hair/ thin haircare in english. either way, you are amazing!

Carly Nelson: Loved the video - your hair is so beautiful! I'd love more videos in english!

Lyn R: You English video was appreciated and very good, thank you. I use oil after washing, while damp, before air drying. Then I will apply more oil once dry. Only ever applying below jaw length. I only condition before washing and only wash once a week. Living in the tropics makes air drying very easy. I have long (BWL), natural blonde, thick hair. However after seeing your braid, I really don't think my hair is thick any more, compared to yours. which is incredible. I use argan oil and coconut.

Anne Smeets: Your english is great, and I would love to see more videos in english! :) This video was very helpful. Dean Langley: Yes please, more English haircare videos!

Zeenat Mahomed: oh thank you for making an English video!! I have long, thin, dry, straight hair that breaks and tangles easily. You lucky girl !!! Thank you so much.

العنود سليمان: I've been waiting for this video !! finally you film itThank you

Sair G: Your English is so good! I find your voice so soothing I will watch your videos in German even though I don't understand them. I use oil on dry and damp hair but I've never tried following it with a cream for LOC. It makes sense though, like using toner, serum and moisturiser on your skin. I wonder if L'Occitane shea butter hand cream would work for me...

Uzma Riaz: Your English is very good, and so your hair are beautiful❤❤❤. I am having very weak and short hair, I wish I could have long hair too. I loved your hair care guide so much, I like oiling too, but one thing is very new that we can use body lotion or cream to our hair too after wash. I will definitely try it. Thank you again. Wish that your hair will be safe and healthy ever.

BrittanyHottie94: Your English is great, you're very articulate for it to not be your first language :)

lavenza: Your hair is insanely gorgeous!

Darkhorse3211: Do you use coconut oil daily? I tried that and nearly fried my hair. From what I did in regards to research, coconut oil is the most absorbed oil due to molecular structure, with olive oil being the second most absorbed. I know I found an article that said Coconut oil is for strengthening hair while olive oil moisturizes. I just did an oil test a few years back and found that coconut oil for my length made it angry--as to proteins. But, I know my hair is far different than yours due to my age, I get it colored and I work outdoors/in the elements. I am just in awe of your hair! It's so healthy and your oil and routine works wonders for you! Thank you for sharing these videos/tutorials :)
