Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today's video is going to be all about the product line called whey or we i don't know if it's supposed to be like french, yes, anyways, it's like o-u-a-i anyway, so this hair care line has become really popular in The past - i don't know a couple of years and i thought i would treat myself to some really nice shampoo, conditioner after giving birth, and so i've been using this product line for probably two months now, and i just have to share it with you guys, because I'Ve honestly never found products that make my hair feel so so nourished and really do what they say that they're going to do so. They do have different shampoo, conditioner sets and treatment types for different hair types. I have very fine hair, but i have a lot of it, but it's really easy for my hair to feel very flat, very thin and also like really frizzy. My hair is naturally straight, but it can get quite frizzy up at the top just with humidity or even with dryness anyways. So i love trying out different shampoo, conditioner combos um and i have absolutely fallen in love with this line. So i do just want to share with you the different products that i've been using. What i have found is kind of different about them than other shampoo conditioners and go into a little bit of the science of why i think it's great, but overall yeah these formulations are very sound. It is a whole sulfate, free collection, um so, and the other thing that i really love about it is the packaging and how they do their refills and everything which is very environmentally conscious, so yeah we're just going to dive right on into it. Okay, so the first product i'm talking about is their fine hair, shampoo um. So when you buy this, it is, i think, it's 28. I don't know if that's canadian or u.s i'm on their website right now. I just got mine from sephora, though, because then everything's in canadian and shipping is really fast. So this is 28 and then you can get a refill, for i think i don't know 56 or something and it is double the amount. So this is 300 ml, but i'm telling you guys this lasts such a long time, so i've been using this for two months and it's only half empty, which means that in a year i might go through like three bottles of this, and i do like kind Of splurging on shampoo conditioner products, because i find that it actually does make a really big difference. So this shampoo, basically really gentle surfactants in there they're, mostly coconut oil derived. It does also contain biotin and keratin, like hydrolyzed keratin, which is a protein. So those are also really good for the hair. It also says it contains chia seed oil. I'Ve never seen a lot of evidence behind using chia seed oil, but maybe it does something. Maybe it doesn't, but overall, this formula is very, very good. Um, a little bit goes a long way. It has ingredients that do lather up really well, so you can really work it around the scalp easily, and it also does contain some anti-static ingredients in here in the shampoo itself, so it just rinses off and when you rinse it out of your hair, your hair Doesn'T feel kind of like totally stripped, it does feel quite hydrated still, which i really really like. So i absolutely love this. It does have a fragrance to it, which is orange, peony, magnolia, jasmine, musk and aorus. Worse, yes, but basically just honestly all-time favorite shampoo product right there and then the conditioner very, very similar, because they are both the fine hair, the fine hair products um. It does contain some vegetable waxes, some conditioning agents such as the hentramonium chloride and the citromonium chloride. So those are really going to give you a nice slip and kind of detangle anti-static ingredients in there. This also does contain the keratin, the biotin and the chia seed oil. So these two pair together beautifully the formula is simple, gentle, but quite effective. Again, i already said it's sulfate free, but i absolutely love these like if you want to treat yourself to nice, hair care products, honestly, you guys this is totally worth the money and then so you buy these bottles, it's kind of your initial investment and then you Can buy the refill pack, which is basically like it'll, fill up your bottle twice, and it is just a very eco-friendly way to do so, but this packaging itself is very eco-friendly because it is made from post-consumer recycled materials. It is the same type of plastic. On top and on the bottom, and all the components inside are made from the same type of plastic, so it is completely recyclable. All you have to do is rinse it out, throw it in the recycling and again most of the surfactants and then also like the waxes in both of these products are coconut oil derived or vegetable derived. So it is a very natural product. If that's, what you're going for um but ultimately they're, just very gentle but quite effective, the other two products that i've picked up from this brand is their finishing cream. So, basically, if i'm going to style my hair, i generally don't blow dry my hair i'll blow dry, my bangs, which are getting way too long. I just ordered some hair styling or higher hair stylist scissors, so i can cut them because we're currently not able to go to the salon. If i'm going to style my hair, i generally don't blow dry it. It just takes too much time. I don't have that much time and then once it's dry i will style it, and then i always finish off with this cream and what it helps for me is like what i was talking about before with just kind of frizz like i always get a bit Of frizz here just from breakage and just from my hair being dry or humid, or i don't really know what, but i do get really frizzy hair, and this just keeps it really soft and smooth and shiny. I don't know if you can see like the shine on my hair. It is really nice um. This product also does have a scent and it does contain a lot of ingredients like it. I know it does have like shea butter. It says that they use a smart keratin, i'm not sure what makes a keratin smart, but it does contain keratin and artichoke leaf extract. I don't know if that does anything, but it does have like jojoba oil. Shea butter rice bran oil, so it is just packed with a lot of goodness. This product does contain some silicones. I don't think that the conditioner does, but ultimately is. It is just a nice product to use after you've heat styled it. I think you can also use it before you heat style it as well, and then it does have a scent which is violet, gardenia, ylang, ylang and white musk. All of the fragrances that they do in their products are beautiful. They smell so good and they're, pretty. Like long lasting um - and i just honestly love this as well but yeah - i think you can use it before you blow dryer or heat style, your hair, but i mainly use it after just to like reduce any frizz and keep it like really silky help with Dry ends and just kind of smooth everything down after i have straightened or kind of curled, my hair, okay and then last but not least, is the volumizing hairspray. So this is it's not like a hairspray that makes your hair very hard um, but it does definitely give you volume. It gives you really nice volume if you want to spray it in here for curls or just kind of do that i spray it under my bangs, sometimes well, when they're not so long, it works a little bit better, just to give them a bit more pump Up, but basically this contains they say, volcanic minerals. It is zeolite, not sure if that really is the magic ingredient in here. But the way the formula has been put together is just incredible: it really does what it says. It'S going to do really excellent volumizing, hairspray um and again it does have a scent, and the scent is bergamo italian. Lemon rose de may, magnolia lily blackberry, violet cedarwood amber patchouli, sandalwood and white musk um. So the scent is a little bit more subtle in this one, or i just use less of this - i'm not really sure but yeah. Basically, the combination of the polymers in here and then that mineral really provides you long-lasting volume in your hair, which is amazing and a little bit goes a long way like i think i'll. I wouldn't go through this in a very long time, and this is also recyclable. So all the packaging is recyclable. The formulas are very scientifically sound, very well put together and thought out um. It is sulfate free, it's yeah, very gentle, like i said before, but the products actually do see what they they products actually do, what they say, they're gon na do so i've been very impressed with this product line. I'M definitely gon na be a repurchaser of this. It makes me not want to try other hair care lines for the first time, which is really cool, and i just wanted to share that with you guys, because i've been trying it out for a couple months and i'm just overall really impressed with how the formulas Are put together the packaging, the refill concept with their shampoo conditioner and if you do have a different hair type and you have tried this out. I definitely would love to hear about your experience if you have curly, hair or thick hair, and you have tried the products like the shampoo conditioner, that i grew towards those hair types. Definitely let me know if they have worked for you. Like i said in the beginning, i have very fine hair, but i have a lot of it. It'S easy for it to look kind of flat and thin, but with the ray shampoo conditioner, it feels very thick and luxurious and healthy and nice, which is just an overall nice feeling and has really nice shine and yeah just feels like very healthy hair. All right, you guys, i think that is everything that i want to say, but oh and this video is absolutely not sponsored. I am just totally in love with these products um. I do love the science behind them. I think that they've been formulated really really well and i'm very impressed with what i have discovered about whey or we. I don't know how you say it but, and i have seen that they've come out with some skincare products. Like some hand, creams hand, washes body washes that kind of thing. So it makes me very intrigued to actually go try that out, because, just because of how well the products that i have tried were put together and how well they performed all right. That is it for me today. Thank you guys so much for watching, and i will see you in my next video

Marianne: I haven't tried Ouai, but switching to salon brands only has made a huge difference for my hair.

Lizzy Bradley: This is such funny timing! I just bought these during Black Friday and used them for the first time yesterday. So far I see a difference already!!!! Thanks for validating me hahaha. The refill bags really sold me on it.

BlackThornRose127: I normally stick to salon brands, but I do love Ouai haircare and I find their products to be salon grade, which is no surprise because the brand is owned by the very talented (celebrity hairstylist) Jen Atkins. There are so many hyped up non salon brands at Sephora in this price range that don’t even come close to the quality of this brand. I recently purchased some of their body products during the holiday sale, and while they are on the pricey side, they’re worth it when you want to indulge a bit. They’re very luxurious, the scents are heavenly, and the quality is just as amazing as the haircare.

Tracy D: I just ordered their medium line. I love that idea of a medium. Like most medium people. Fine hair products aren’t enough moisture and heavy course is too too much. I did play mixologist on several occasions. I can’t wait to try. I wanted the large refills but I’m going to see if they have a holiday sale later this month.

kim hayes: I watched this review to see if she mentioned hair loss. I started using this for medium hair about 3 months ago and love they way my hair looks but I have had problems with thinning hair in the past and it has started coming out really badly again. I’m going to go back to my old shampoo for a month and see if it helps.

Caroline Fraccaro: You look stunning! We don't have OUAI here in Brazil but I would love to try it someday! All the products seem to have really good quality

Quelll: Hey Kenna (and anyone else listening!) did you find the scent to be really powerful? I'm incredibly interested in the brand, but not sure if the smell would elicit headaches for me.

Mila 2K: I am currently testing Ouai shampoo for medium hair. Don't know if it is doing anything as I've washed my hair only twice using it, but my hair fills differently. I'd say cleaner than after Loreal Prof or Tsubaki

Crystal D: Thank you for this video I was very skeptical but this was extremely helpful and I really appreciate you taking the time to make it ❤️

Sahana Roy: I was deciding on the Ouai Fine Hair system but wasn’t able to justify the price point. I ended up picking the Ameliorate clarifying shampoo instead, but will definitely try Ouai now after your review :) Could you review the Davines haircare line as well?

Gina: Jealous of how good bangs look on you! Also I’ve been so curious about this brand but never looked into it. Thanks for your input!

Spenceycat123: Have you seen the mold that was recently found in jaclyn’s pallets? I know someone recently covered in a video. And love this video

Dr. Elizabeth Lambaer: Thanks for this video! You should reach out to them and have them hire you as a spokesperson... you're great

Caroline x: We love you queen!!!!!! Thank you for blessing us with a video!!!!!! Hope mom life is treating you well!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Curly Camille Chenelle: Oh my gosh I’ve recently realized my hair is fine so I’m in the market for fine hair care products. Thanks for this!!!

Tracy Davidson: Yes I love this as well im the fine hair to and I've been using quai for 3 years now this year im trying the hair oil and the spray for the fist time love them....I buy these products on the Sepora sales ....but ya I really love your channel happy holidays

Mrs10yearsafter: Hi sweetie- Haven't been very good with my hair, and it wasn't a hassle, as long I went to the hairdresser's every 3-5 months It was ok..until I got in my 50's and a Lot fell off..‍♀️and its definitely not as thick.. now I'm an Ingredient Lover- ✍ ingredients have been in my mind since I started to watch Alice down the rabbit hole, and her skincare videos years ago.. I'm glad You are Back ❣ How life as a Mommy !? You look Great Yes, your Hair looks so good- no frizzy hair?! I need this in my life.. Going in my saved videos- Thank you for a wonderful video- Charlotte ☃️

Ali Taylor: Thanks for the review!! Request for a future topic - how hair products react with bleached hair. I get blonde balayage and if I use shampoo and conditioner with proteins then I find it makes my hair brittle.. then other products with mainly oils weigh my hair down. It's hard to find a balance. Not sure if that's your expertise but I'd love to hear the science behind that!

I’m Chilling: what did you think about this for oily hair? I have fine hair but for some weird reason I have a lot of hair on my ends. anytime I use a shampoo that isn't the tea tree one from Paul Mitchell my hair is oily the next day.

T H: Can you please review Seen products sometime too? I tend to have a lot of scalp itchiness and soreness so I have been using the fragrance-free Seen line to try and reduce irritation. Thank you

Jamie Ferguson: do you know what porosity your hair is? I also have fine hair & a lot of it, but I can't use a ton of protein long term because my hair can't handle it. it's really hard to find good products that don't have a lot of protein in them.

Jess L: What would you recommend for someone who started losing their hair early 20s? Thyroid levels checked and are fine. It's really depressing and stressful being reminded everyday how much hair I have lost. You can see how bad it is on top and the back. Just started in my early 20s.

Fatima A: Can you talk about the brand briogeo? I use all their hair products and I wanna know if its good for my hair

dca1962: I recently bought this and after I used it, I read a lot of reviews online from people saying this Ouai shampoo for Fine Hair caused their hair to fall out. :'( Now I am afraid to use it. Have you experienced any hair loss after using this shampoo?

tacobelle: can you please try a davines shampoo? your reviews are always my fav they’re really easy to follow ❤️

0neiros: Definitely buy ouai thinning hair shampoo. Ive used it for the first time today and oh my god, it smells so good and it really helps thin hair, if ur not into smelling tho dont buy it, its very potent and my family could smell me walking down the hall

JekaFromTheBay: I could not get over the overwhelming smell of this shampoo and conditioner. It is mixed with three flowers, Magnolia, Peony & Jasmine. It smells like my great grandmothers dresser drawers.

Anna Matic: Ouai is kind of French; it looks like a version of the French word "ouais" (pronounced roughly weh) which means "yeah"

Sehrish Kamran: I like the way you talk it really didnt feel like 10 mins more like 5.. you really dont waste time and give it!! Thank you!!

Laysa Ferreira Silva: I can't really find these where I live, but you've put somethings in my mind to look in ingredients!

thatmatchagirl ASMR: Thank you for this Kenna

Adriana O: Can you please review the Gisou hair system, you can get it a Sephora too. Thank you I want to try the Ouai products too, maybe for the next Sephora sale

Laura CB: Would u recommend the conditioner? I would skip the conditioner und go for the mask… because i wash it only 1-2 times a week.

Sandra L: I thought sulfates was supposed to be good for your scalp, according to dr Dray ( a dermatologist), sulfates actually clean your scalp and keep your scalp healthy

K F: What are your thoughts on reviews that this product is causing hair loss for some people?

Heather: A lot of ppl complained about this shampoo causing hair to fall out.

Kenzie Baldwin: could you review Prose haircare?? they’re a customizable brand (kinda like function of beauty) and it’s roughly $48 USD for both shampoo and conditioner. i’ve been using them for a few months now and i haven’t had to reorder yet! super interested from an ingredients and packaging point of view❤️ also you look amazing

kya: I would love to hear your thoughts on Olaplex!

mary cheyenne: your description of your hair is literally me

Daan Nevels: How often do you wash your hair & cold vs lukewarm water to rinse?

Adriana Padgett: The shampoo alone lasted me 3 months!!

Meeeowzers: I just wanted to say Girrrrrl you look amazing xx

NANA: Can you talk about the devacurl scandal?

Her Life on Earth: Obsessed with your hair colour

Anna Burns: only thing...they put silicones in their products and that does not agree with my hair. Too bad.

Dolly De Leon: Will this work on oily hair?

beautifulhappyness: have you heard of act+acre? any thoughts?

Alejandra HV: Please Function of beauty!!!! The YouTube most popular brand in my opinion .. you know how they customize according to needs !!!

PolkaDotz212: You look gorgeous

angie toro: Do you recommend this over Function of Beauty?

Leyana Haile: Heeey another biochemist what’s up sis!!

Jovanni castle: Wow you look stunning

jennifer lentz: Can you do Lange biochemistry review
