Super bummed I can't find my SD card but I had to re-dye my hair anyway so I figured I'd just re film. It's nothing special but lots of you wanted to know what I used so here it is. I have used hair color & developer from Sally's before and have had the same results. I have been using the John Frida ColorFoam for a while now, I always go back to it because it's super easy to use! Good morning, good morning, okay, well it's morning, for me, it's probably not morning for you, while you're watching this, but this hair just woke up well. So today's video is going to be a redo of my dyeing, my hair video, because I cannot find the other extra SD card anywhere because I had to film on two SD cards, because I had footage on one. So I didn't want to delete it and I ran out of room, so I had to grab another one and I can only find one. So it's only like half the footage, but I needed to read on my hair anyway, because, as you can see it's already well, I don't know if it's if you can tell on camera, but it's already lightining up on me. It'S really getting light on the top and the ends are getting really like uh-huh mom's, always calling when you're trying to film you guys mind about you, this Apple wire, film, no I'm just kidding well, say familiar so anyways. I'M going to show you what I did. I'M using the exact same stuff that I used the first time to down my hair, we're just doing it all over again and I will include Clips because I do have it from when I have light hair. So I will include those clips in this video too. So you can see the darkness to lightness: wait the lightness to darkness transition. Okay. So what I used was. I use the john frieda precision foam color. I personally have no issues with using like drugstore. If you want to get all fancy, you can go to Sally's and ask them what kind of developer and what kind of hair dye you need. And you can get fancy that way. But I like to use the foam hair dye because I find it a lot easier, especially when I'm dyeing my hair on my own and I like to dye my hair dark on my own. Like I only like to go to the hair salon, when I have to lighten my hair, because when you lighten your hair, you could really fudge that up. So I like to go and get it done at the hair salon. You know just to make sure that I don't end up bulge or anything or bleach all my hair off, but when I dyed my hair dark, I just like to do it myself, one because I enjoyed doing it too. So I avoid a trip to the hair salon, because not just I love getting my hair done, I don't like going to the hair salon and like sitting there for like five hours and it's kind of hard to just mess up, coloring your hair, one color. Another reason why I like to use the foam die instead of like a regular hair dye is because I feel like it covers my hair, a lot better and I like any streaking, because I've dyed my own hair a bunch of times and when I used to Use like the ones that aren't foam, I would have liked like patchiness in my hair, like I don't know how to explain it, but it'd be like like here would be like a light patch and then it'd be dark. So I find what the foam that I get a much more like even coverage on my hair. This is the exact stuff that I used in my last video. I usually buy two boxes of dye and I only needed one box, so that was good and the color that I used is 2n, which is a luminous natural black. Again, I'm dying, I'm dying, my hair black because it lightens so fast on me. In our little kit we get our little black gloves, which I like, because it makes me feel like a real hair, stylist and stuff. Remember, like old school hair dyeing kits and they give you like those plastic gloves and maybe like ten sizes too big. I always felt like a lunch lady when I put those clothes on so they give you a little cute black ones. Here'S the two guys that we're gon na mix together we're gon na mix two into one. I'M gon na put my gloves on I'm kind of like a wild woman. When I dye my hair I'll, probably get it like all over my face and my neck, but it just washes off in the shower, so don't be alarmed. But if you want to avoid all that, you can throw a little bit of Vaseline around your hairline and around your neck, so that um the staining, will come off easier. But I find that when I get in the shower it kind of just comes off. Anyway. Do what you want to do, I'm gon na do what I want to do: I'm not gon na, basically, basically, basically, okay, okay, so we're going to take one which is our developer and then we're going to take two, which is our actual color. Let me see if it smells strong. Oh, it's not strong and then we're just going to pour him in we're going to put on our little pump girl. You need a tan, and then we just have to roll this guy five times or it's like four or five, but just turn it around a couple times to mix it together. Just make sure you don't get up so now he's ready to go and then all we're going to do is squeeze the bottle to remove the phone. So I'm just going to brush my hair out because I just woke up. So you want to make sure it's not naughty naughty naughty, and then I like to section my hair just into two sections I like to do my stop hat first and then I like to do my lower half, so you can just split them. How you feel it'll work for you and I'm just going to clip this part up first, so that I can clip the underneath portion roll it up, and then I'm just going to clip it back here now we're ready to die yeah, and then I just like To go ahead and lay it down, I'm not going to talk through this part. Okay! So then, once it's all, I feel like covered I'll, just take what's ever left and just keep saturating my hair, because my eyes are so much you can't edge them just to make sure that we have it fully covered. Oh right, then, I'm just to pull it all up and then we're just going to let this sit on here for about 20 minutes. Okay, we are done dyeing blow-dry and putting on our makeup all that good stuff, and I did clip on my extensions since I'm getting ready to leave and I want it to be like ba-ba-boom today, so I threw in my Bellamy hair extensions now. I know a lot of you guys were confused when I did the haircutting video. You were like wait a minute. You just cut your extensions, which extensions. Are you wearing so these extensions that I'm wearing are the Bellamy Lily, hair extensions that I had cut to my hair when I had like browner hair, these used to be like a brown color, but I just dyed them to match these extensions, because these are actually My favorite set to wear, I feel like they look most natural when I wear them, so my ones that I cut are the Bellamy 22-inch ones, but I cut them so now, they're like up to here. I know that some of you guys were confused when I posted a picture on Instagram. You were like, I thought you cut your hair extensions, which hair extensions are you wearing, but I'm still wearing Bellamy, hair extensions. These are just the Lily hair, which are like the super thick hair, extensions, okay, so anyways my color came out great. It looks extra shiny. I don't know if it looks super shiny to you guys, but it's shiny on this side. So I just wanted to quickly share with you guys, the shampoo and conditioners that I've been using recently now, I'm sure I've probably talked about these before only like one thing has changed, but I still wanted to share them with you just in case some of you Haven'T seen those other videos, so the shampoo and conditioner that I use regularly. So the shampoo and conditioner that I use regularly is from pure ology, and this is the Nano work, shampoo and conditioner. Now these are pretty pricy shampoos and conditioners, but I'm obsessed with them. I think they work wonders on my hair. A lot of you guys were wondering what I did to have my hair grow so fast. Well, first, these are extensions and two I mean I had my hair cut last June, so I had my hair cut almost a year ago, so I feel, like just time, will help grow your hair, especially because I had super damaged hair when I got it cut And I feel like once I cut all the deadness off. It was just like yeah and it was just like thanking me by growing out so cut your hair. If you feel like you really need it like, if you got really damaged hair, just cut it off. It'S just hair, it will grow back. I promise you but anyways, using a really good shampoo, commissioner, is great because you're not putting any kind of filler or anything in your hair and I've been obsessed with these products. Since I was like, I don't know, probably seventeen and I worked in my first hair salon. They used to shampoo and condition me with these and I always used to be like haha, but I never could afford them back then so once I could afford them. I was like that said: I'm buying them, but they do work wonders, and I just think that these are so amazing and they're great for colored hair as well, and these are vegan, shampoo and conditioners. If you guys are like into that, I'm sorry these bangs. I wish they would grow out more grow grow. I do alternate my shampoo, though sometimes I switch it up and I won't use the nano works and I use this redken extreme shampoo. This is a fortifier for distressed hair. So if you have damaged hair or if you have like or if you have dry hair, I love this as well, but uh haha. The only thing is, is you want to use this kind of sparingly because you can add too much protein to your hair, which is what the shampoo will do to kind of strengthen your hair, but you want to use it. I use it probably once a week when I do my hair, because if you put too much protein in your hair, your hair can get kind of straw-like and if you have pretty healthy hair as it is right now. I would not recommend this to you, because if you have kind of healthy hair, I feel like this kind of dries it out a little bit. So if you've got healthy, hair, don't use this use these guys. But if you have a little bit of dry hair damaged hair, I do recommend this before you as well, and what I want to do like an all-over mask on my hair, like I probably do it like once every two weeks I am back to using the Macadamia deep repair mask when I first started YouTube. This was like my Holy Grail, I loved it, and then I just realized. Oh, my god, there's so many more things for me to try and I tried a bunch of different masks and I finally repurchase this one, because I do think this is the best one and the smell is just out of this world. So I absolutely love this guy. You notice the difference in your hair right away. When you use it, I find mine at Ulta and um. You can find them at like hair salons. I know target sells them, but I heard through the grapevine that you shouldn't buy like professional hair products from places like Target or stuff like that, because you don't really know if you're getting the actual product like someone could, just by this put some other stuff in It and repackage it to you, which I don't know if they really do that, but I'm just telling you what I've heard from like stylists and stuff like that. They always try to recommend me to buy them from like an Ulta or cosmetology store or from a hair salon, or something like that. So I don't know if that's true, but I'm just letting you know, and then lastly, I've been using this John Frieda color refresh gloss, and this is a weekly salon, treatment for all shades of black yeah and it says it eliminates dullness, so it it is black When you pour it into your hand, it's like a black and I'm assuming it's like a glaze for your hair, and it just keeps your hair, nice and shiny, which I feel like it has kept. My hair super duper shiny, which ain't nobody mad at shiny hair. Right um, they did have these four all colored hair. They had it for red, hair, black hair, blonde hair and brown hair. I think they smell really really good, and I do notice that it keeps my hair, nice and shiny. That is it for me. Coloring, my hair, I don't think I have anything else to say I will have some more videos for you guys this week, I'm filming tomorrow, so that video will probably up Thursday or Friday so be on the lookout. Anywho, the easiest was to prevent you hair from fading (since you had blonde) is to put a Demi permanent color first to sort of "fill" the cuticle with pigment. In your case you should do between a level 6-3 like a brown. Wash out and dry. THEN, go in with the black. If you're familiar with the levels of hair 10 is the lightest and 1 is darkest so you have to put those other levels back in. If that makes any sense. Haha ^_^

Maria Ison: Just watched this and then scrolled through some of the comments and I just have to laugh. Her hair, her decision to use boxed hair color. It's not hurting anybody. I used boxed hair color on my hair when I want to go back to my natural dark hair color and my hair is very healthy and shiny. I also have never had any problems going back into the salon to have my hair lightened. Clearly Nicole uses high end hair products to take care of her hair and that makes a huge difference no matter what.

Chris Voshell: Next time you go from light to dark ,apply the color to the lightest hairs before you add it to you roots so the color will hold better. Since the roots are already dark you really don't need to color it as long. Hope that works for you!

ashley_love15: I absolutely love the John Frieda foam hair dye. I just recently went from the Ombre to the dark side like 2 days ago & girl did I miss my dark hair. I used the shade "3N Deep Brown Black" & I love it. I honestly would't use any other foam only because John Frieda is the only foam I've really used consistently when I want a change my hair from light to dark from the drugstore & I find it works amazing. It's just so much cheaper and doesn't break my bank & I would never have enough money to go spend on a salon hahah. It is obviously to be told your hair gets super damaged & can break off when you use box dye from the drugstore but it's all just personal preference & how you maintain your hair afterwards. But, I love your videos & your hair looks gorgeous Nicole!

AJ17: FYI, if you get hair dye on your skin, face toner cleans it off super easy. I've been coloring my hair at home for over 20 years so it's one of several little tricks I've learned along the way.

Mind you I bought it from target and if its true what you said about not buying them from drugstores because the product may different, then it must be true because it made my hair SUPER DRY. Not even half way done with it and I wanted to throw it out. The price sucked so thats what made me not want to and it was sitting in my shower for months. Every review I saw said it was their holy grail mask and it makes their hair very silky and moisturized yet did the complete opposite for me.

Any box color leaves a waxy coating on your hair making it extremely difficult to lift or lighten the next time you get your hair done professionally. Nicoleemariaaa: When you go from light to dark you need to re pigment to get back all the different tones your hair was missing! That's why it was already fading, but coloring it again should help. Make sure you use demi permanent though, using permanent over and over isn't the best for your hair!
