Foreign s today, I'm going to demonstrate how to wash curly hair using Monet products. The first step is to get your hair soaking wet. It'S super important that your hair is super duper wet because our products are super concentrated and work best with lots of water. The next step is to shake your shampoo bottle. Our products are made from natural ingredients. Therefore, some of the active ingredients will settle at the bottom. Next apply a dime to Nickel size worth of shampoo in your palm and emulsify. Your hands should be a little wet. Naturally, since you're in the shower, but if for some reason they are dry, add a little water to your hands, keep emulsifying until the shampoo, practically lathers in your hand, next apply the shampoo to your scalp and root area only and massage for one to two minutes. The shampoo won't lather much on this first wash, but that's okay, because it is breaking down all the dirt and oils on your scalp. Since I have a lot of hair. I repeat this step on the bottom half of my scalp as well. Sometimes I flip my head over to do this and other times I just do it standing straight up, like you see me doing here, the important part is that your entire scalp is getting cleansed and that you're only focused on the scalp for this first wash and Not the rest of your hair next rinse fully, you should be using lukewarm water on your curly hair. The little added heat helps open up the cuticles, so products can penetrate the hair without it being too hot that you risk drying it out now, you're going to repeat for wash number two shake your shampoo bottle and emulsify in your hands. This time you are going to shampoo your scalp and the entire length of your hair. You should notice that the shampoo is lathering much more on the second wash. You should keep massaging to make sure you are getting lots of lather and that your hair is nice and clean side. Note for those just getting started with my knee. It may take a few days or a few weeks before your Monet shampoo really starts to lather and that's a sign of residual buildup of waxes and silicones from your old products that will take some time to break down. If you want to speed up the process, you should try our purifying vinegar, shampoo, scalp, purifying scrub or our purifying vinegar, rinse. You should not Bunch all your hair on top of your head, like you see in shampoo commercials, this is unnecessary and it causes a lot more Tangles for curly hair after shampooing one to two minutes, rinse fully. When you are done rinsing, your shampoo, your hair, will probably feel a little stiff, dry or tangly. Don'T brush your hair after shampooing. This is the time to immediately apply your conditioner apply a quarter to two quarter sizes of conditioner and spread it out in your wet hands, then apply from about ear length down, even with my thick long hair. Two quarters worth of conditioner is enough. So long as my hair is nice and wet the reason you don't apply it directly to the scalp is because you are going to detangle your hair now starting at the ends and brushing will distribute enough conditioner to your roots without weighing it down. This is me detangling, my hair, at high speed. If you have curly wavy or coily hair, you should only detangle your hair while it is wet with conditioner, leave-in, conditioner or a hair mask. If your hair is more dense than mine, you can also use alligator clips to section your hair for detangling. Now your hair should feel silky smooth and you are ready for the last rinse. If you can tolerate it, it is good to do the last rinse with cold water as it closes the cuticle back up and prevents frizz and breakage, and that's all there is to it thanks. So much for watching don't forget to follow me on Instagram and see you next time.

momma b: I didn't know about shaking the bottle. Thank you for that tip. I still have to lay out my products in order before I get started because its new to me. I'm excited for 6 months to a year to come around to see the huge difference. right now I'm very happy with the softer LESS frizz curls and the occasional coily curl that pops up in places that was never there before. BABY steps.

Success lifestyle: I really like the step by step explanation . Thank you
