nXte: Hihii, love the video, I used the bigger version of the one in this video, but I was in a hurry, and I had just taken my hair out of 3 months and 3 days old braids, which I washed often, but as it appeared, couldn't get to cleanse all the gunk because of the braids. Late for an interview three days later, after doing absolutely nothing to my hair, not even moisturizing or waking with water because I was trying to avoid shrinkage, I bought the Argan oil, Eco styler gel, shii is real heavy, and tea tree & cinnamon moisturizing cream, in a fit of sheer ignorance, obviously, I dampened my hair, and applied the moisturizer, white everywhere, saw it as normal and moved on to try the Eco styler gel on a segment of my front hair, deranged and twisted. NO HOLD. I was slightly scared, eventually panicked and applied some to my whole hairand tried the sponge curl method, it curled, but my hair was clumping together, and white af, and I was late for my interview, so, I hurried in, tried to comb the hair, and it was just a disaster, . I panicked and did terrible things to my hair.i would meet a knot so unrelenting, but baffling in its "hold", as it was just formed less than 2 minutes ago. And it was excruciating pain, my hair being stretched for three months plus, my roots hurt where they met my scalp, as I ever so lightly tugged at the knot seeing as patience wasn't working. I was running late. I took my hair, , strategically held it so my roots wouldn't give, and tore the strands apart, not once, not twice, not thrice.... Then washed the hair with soap as going thru an actual wash session would waste time as I was already altering soo much. Eventually, I'm done, my hair is wet, started coming forcefully, very unlike me. Then I remembered, finger derange first,... One minute later, I was tearing my hair apart again. I literally, after that act of utter disrespect and torture, do not deserve the 4c hair that has blessed my head. It was a very bad experience, but I guess it's for the best. Apparently, I was able to get it to look decent enough, long story cut short, I got the job. Yaay, mixed feelings there... My hair is in scarfed in for the night, but I wanna moisturize the clumps and run a DIY steam session, as watched in a video, so as to separate them easily and with no more loss. Then, probably Bantu knot my hair with the Argan oil Eco, I am soo stubborn. I almost cut my hair. Very scary experience.

plussizedbeauty: I'm noticing that a lot of 4c ladies have have a looser texture in the back I wonder why is that mine is the same but I had this gel it's nice but I prefer the aunt jackie flaxseed one
