Five, six seven eight happy holidays we're in this christmas spirit. A little bit. I got some lights up. Finally, i got oh tree looking a little sad. We got little tree trees right there in honor of the holidays and the fact that christmas is next freaking week and then after that is going to be new years and then, after that, it's 20 21.. I know you probably have not even done christmas shopping like i know, you're procrastinating on your christmas shopping, like i did. I literally just finished my christmas shopping last night and actually i still have like a couple things to do. I'M like 90 done with my christmas uh shopping, but i know a lot of us have been waiting to the last minute. You do have that group who's like super super early that start in like freaking november, right after thanksgiving but uh. If you're like me, you kind of tell yourself oh you're, gon na, be early this year and then you don't and then it's like, oh my gosh the week before christmas. So if you're just like me a procrastinator woohoo, no, it's really not it's pretty stressful! I don't know why we do this to ourselves why, if you're like me, you came to the right video and even if you're, not doing christmas shopping, you're looking to treat yourself or whatever. This is just a great perfect video for you. So, let's get through these things really really quickly. These are not in any order. These are just the top 20 hair stuff of 2020. I believe that you definitely either need, or it would be great to have useful. So the first thing are big scrunchies, so scrunchies. First of all have popped off. I think. Last year, squingies were a thing. This year it seemed like the bigger the better. At this point i had this really cute uh. This really cute. It was like one of my favorite scrunchies i'll put it on the screen. I couldn't find it somewhere, but that's my favorite scrunchie of all time, because it just looks really really cute with everything and look. I even have little festive scrunchies that i got. I will link all of these in the description box below oh yeah, so obviously everything will be linked in the description box below. So if you're interested make sure you check the description box, but i have one in my hair: a lot of the old stuff like the old school trends in the 70s and stuff like that people are liking the old school lips, oscar vibe. So a lot of the new hair accessories that's been trendy is inspired by obviously what history repeats itself next thing are hair balls, hair bows are kind of uh, i want to say they're in year round, like you could wear them year round, but i feel like They'Re definitely a lot popular during the holidays because, like you're wrapping a gift - and you know you want to be like in the holidays - you want to show everybody like hey, i'm, actually, the real gift here: honey, boop, okay, no, i'm just kidding but yeah like hairballs. I feel like it's just a staple for holidays. It looks cute, it looks like nice put together, like i don't know it's kind of fancy, so i even have like a hair bow like this, that i have for the longest like one that it's like kind of old. Oh i have this one too. I got this sent to me last december. It has like a j on it. This is really cute. It'S just like a really cute thing to like spruce up your hair. You know during the holidays. Also, i just found another scrunchie, but yeah, so hair bowl is a perfect time to wear during the holidays christmas new years, it's a little on the girly side, but if you want to look cute and girly and have a little pop, you know to your your Outfit and look a little like flirty and stuff, then i think hair bows are the way to go. Next, one are mini clips, uh shoot. I didn't get that out. So clips are a big thing again. It used to be popular back in, like the 70s. 80S. 90S, i guess i don't know something around those lines, but now, let's make it a comeback, so big clips, we got the big claw clips, this one's really cute, it's cheetah print, and then we have the little baby little clips that you can put in your hair. I'Ll leave pictures because i actually have some of these on my christmas list. I really want to get some more like hair accessories. I feel like hair accessories, just kind of makes. You look like you, did a lot to your hair when you really did it and it's like unique and it's like creative, like i just like it when you have your hair up in the back, and you put this, it just looks. I don't know it just looks like so put together like ooh, that girl got her life going. Look at her with her cute clip next thing: are, i don't have it around me right now, but beanies beanies obviously, is almost dang near winter time. The first day of winter will be next week. I think on the 21st, so beanies are going to be a good thing for you to have. You know to keep your head warm, but obviously you want to get a cute beanie and i like wearing beanies with curly hair. I just feel like you have to flatten the top a little bit and you have your beanie and do you have your poofy hair? You know out at the bottom or your little curly, hair or whatever. So i think it looks cute if you don't like a beanie there's also the things like the little headbands that cover your ear like the thick ones that you can wear just so your ears. Obviously, during the winter time in the cold, you want to cover your ears, because your ears get really cold. Those would be really good ideas to give anybody with hair um. You know for the winter time next are going to be clips. What i call them barrettes are like a clips hair clips. These cute little things accent pieces for your hair. Can you see that my nails are so girls? Sorry, i meant to redo them before the video, but then i just didn't have time, but this is like so cute is like one of my favorite um hair clips. Those are really cute again. You can like put them in your hair for just a cute style to again make your hair look, nice and creative and just unique and have its own kind of personality and kind of make it. You know doing your hair fine, because sometimes you know our hair. Can get boring to us and we want to try some new stuff, obviously like these little clips have been really in um, so i'll leave. Also again, i have some on my christmas list, so i'll leave like some links that i have saw. Also, i meant to tell you guys for the scrunchies there have been a sale going on um at free people. There'S a lot of sales going on, but i'll leave like there's like a lot of three for 12 3 for 15 for scrunchies. So make sure you definitely click the links, because that will take you to get you some nice deals for right now. Why they're here? So you can obviously and if you're, getting it for somebody, you want to get it early. You want to get it now. I know you're procrastinating, but you don't want to be buying your stuff too late and then not knowing if it's going to come on time or it gets lost in all the holiday chaos. So the next one is going to be hair products. If you're going to get hair products for someone just getting them, a combination of hair products is really really good. If you were to tell me what are like the two things that i would love to receive as a gift with the person with natural hair or curly, hair and or and or curly hair uh, deep conditioner and leave-in conditioner, it's like perfect for me because i Feel, like those two are the most important to keep your hair, hydrated and moisturized during the winter season, and those are like the two important things for health when it comes to hair. My favorite deep conditioner is by natural club. I don't have it with me because it's in my freezer right now, but they are so fresh they're made with fresh ingredients and they're so fresh. I have to put them in my freezer, but they're like a hair, mask kind of hair, deep conditioner that i love they're called the ice cream treatments. They have different flavors for different things. One is for protein, one is for definition, so i would highly recommend that my other favorite one is the shea butter. It'S it's called it's by shea moisture. It'S called shea tree deep, shea butter, deep treatment, something i'll put it on the screen. But those are my two like favorite deep conditioners: go to i've been using them for a long time, so for my favorite leave-in conditioner, i really really love this one by melanin, hair care. I love love love this. This is like on the top list. Um of 2020, like hair products, i do like the one by natural club, leave-in conditioner, so those two are my favorite, but if you want to give this a hair kit for someone that includes all of the stuff, you just want to have like a nice hair Kit, curl mix is a great brand to look at because they give you like a wash and go kit where it gives you, your shampoo, your conditioner, your moisturizer and your gel all in one, and they have really good deals right now. So you can, you know, head over to the description box. I have coupon codes for you guys to use. I just feel like that's just the perfect kit, if you want to just knock everything out at once, and any curly girl will love that or any girl with hair period, because it's just everything you need. You got your moisture stuff and you have your styling stuff and speaking of styling um, i'm just gon na go through all of them right now. My favorite things. Obviously, protective styles have been very popular this year and just they're always popular, but my favorite, like things for protective style, has currently been this combo moisturizer by natural club. This custard, which is a very like my favorite - i've, been loving, custards custard because it's really thick and it's very moisturizing - and this twisting paste is really really good for, like twist twist, has been very popular. But it's a nice. It'S literally like a paste like a gel but like a thick paste gel that keeps your twist intact. You can even use it for locks and um. It'S just really really nice, so i'll link everything in the description box. I know i'm going through this really fast. I'M trying to hurry up um, also, last but not least, the oils. Oh, i didn't mention shampoos, i feel like shampoos are kind of like the least important, because i mean you can really use any shampoo honestly. But if you like one like shampoo for the experience, i do like the melanin hair care, one, the black one i do really like - i don't have it on, but the one by curl mix - and i like the one by um natural club. But those are my three favorites and then last but not least, your oils, which is really good again for the winter time. Oils is really good for anybody with natural hair curly hair to seal in the moisture, especially if you're doing protective hairstyles it's good to oil. Your scalp to keep your scalp hydrated, so i like this one by natural club, it's their oil blend with avocado kiwi and a whole bunch of other stuff. So those are my favorite, then obviously olive oil, everybody likes black, castor oil and stuff like that. Okay, so those are my products, hopefully that wasn't too much work for you guys but, like i said just like a kit like that, gives you multiple hair stuff at once. Oh i don't have my detangling brush detangling. Your hair is very, very important for length retention. You have to detangle your hair at least once a week is very important, for you know, length retention and you just not having tangles and keeping your hair healthy. So i was using the i'll bring them here somewhere, i'm there in my bathroom, but i've been using the uh wide tooth comb for the longest and it works very well. It just takes more time, and you have to section your hair and you have to just be more patient with it. I finally decided to give me one of the tangling brushes, there's, always a new one, but i've currently started using the tango, teaser kind of looking one, which i love so so much so i would recommend 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend that one but 10 Out of 10 would recommend the tangle teaser, the tangle brushes it just if you have thick hair it just detangles your hair. A lot quicker a lot faster, still amazing to be in the experience. It'S so amazing it just like sculpts, your curls, it's just amazing. So i would recommend anybody with hair, especially natural curly hair, get you a detangling brush like if you can or or somebody else buy it or buy you buy. If you know a person with natural curly hair buy them that they will love it uh, the next one is a shower mirror. So this one is kind of like you, don't really need it, but it's just a nice experience again. If you have natural, hair or curly hair you're going to spend a lot of time in your bathroom or in like your kitchen sink depending on where you wash your hair and well, i know for me: if you're, you know washing your hair in the shower in Your bathroom just being able to see it like to see myself when i'm doing my hair, it kind of just makes the experience a lot better, especially because you guys like watching natural hair videos right. So it's like kind of aesthetically pleasing to see somebody like brushing their hair and doing their hair, and then you get to see what you're doing so. I have been loving having a shower mirror in my bathroom. I just moved so i haven't put my shower mirror up, but i do miss it. So i just feel like it's just like a nice thing, so for you to see what you're doing, while you're in the shower and kind of feel like you're doing your own like youtube, video, like you're, doing your hair. But you get to see it's just like a nice experience, also a overnight towel to dry your hair um. This one is really nice because a lot of the times i try not to go to sleep with wet hair, but sometimes i just get to my hair routine, really late, and then i do my hair and i don't diffuse my hair. That'S one thing: i always air dry, my hair, because i'm cheap and i never just felt like investing in a diffuser. So i was just like yeah, i'm used to air drying my hair, but at night time it like sucks, so i usually put my hair up. I have a technique where i do the plopping method and i use this hair towel thing and it works wonders for my hair. My pillowcase doesn't get like wet and my hair looks amazing in the next morning. So i say that is really good and on top of that i'll just surface to my favorite thing to protect my hair at night. Obviously you have your original satin cap. If you have a satin cap, i have a satin line cap that i use um, that i'll link it has satin inside and it's nice and comfortable. You also can just use a satin. You know scarf that works well and or you can get you a satin pillowcase or a silk pillowcase if you got the money honey for that, so that's really good to protect your hair at night, so your hair is not getting dry and blah blah blah. You guys should know okay, i need to hurry up this video, so long, there's so many things, but the next thing is this spray bottle. This is like the best spray bottle for your hair. It just spritz in the right amount. I'Ve tried a lot of. I used dollar tree spray bottles. I used one from target this one by far is the best it just sprays out the perfect amount of water and it's not too harsh, and it just wets your hair up edge control gel. Obviously, it's a staple for a lot of people with natural hair, curly hair, whatever hair, even people with straight hair, are doing the edges now. So my favorite one that i've been using for years is the one by natural club. It'S a flaxseed gel. I like to use, i know, there's a lot of gels out there, but i honestly like to you know people talk about like the health of their baby hairs and my baby hairs have always been kind of long. I feel, like my mom, used to tell me that, when she used to lay my baby hairs as a baby, she even used to do that. Like keep my hairs out, she would put like some type of oil on it or something like something. She would have something that had like good ingredients in it, so i don't know if that contributed to like the health of my baby hairs. But i know that you know baby hairs are sensitive and, if you're doing them all the time, especially if you're using stuff with just like gunky products in it, it's probably not the best for your um baby hair. So i like this because it uses all natural ingredients and at least my baby hairs look feeling like smooth but they're like laid-ish. Okay, also, if you guys were ever curious of what the best hair ties are, it's the ouchless ouchless ones, but i think scunci or something um. But these are just the ones without the metal band and they're really really good, because it doesn't snag your hair and they last for a good like time. Sometimes they do break, but they do last me for a long time. I also have like the big ones. If i want to do like a big like puff on my hair, i'll use like the big ones like this, oh the next trendy thing of star trek, hair accessories are hair. Stars really really cute. If you just want to like add a little pop to your hair again, you can put them in your ponytail. You go like put them as a headband um. You can like wrap your hair up. Oh the bandanas hair bananas. Do i have one with around me? I don't think i have one but hair bandanas are really really cute they're. Another thing that's like used to be old school, but trendy now this here last but not least, the spot headbands. I don't have one, but i see them all around. I'M pretty sure you guys have too, i feel like those are really cute, a really nice way to keep your hair out of your face and they're really really cute. My battery died on my camera, so the little spa headbands the little cute ones, they're - really really good because it gets your hair out of your face when a you're washing your face or you're doing your skincare, routine or b you're doing your makeup or you may Just want to play spa day and have your own spa day, because in spa day, having spa days and treating yourself has also been like a trendy thing this year, but in a good way. Not like a trinity thing. That'S gon na die like, but a thing that we realize is very important for ourselves. That'S just like a little extra. Of course you don't need it, but if you, you know want to add something cute or whatever. I'M just add this in with 20, because i want to keep it at 20.. Obviously, making sure you have a shower cap is a staple for anybody with curly or natural hair. For many reasons, one. This serves as a purpose to uh put to put our hair um in after we deep condition it, so it can trap in the heat when we deep condition and make sure that our deep conditioner is deeply penetrate the hair. They do have other hair cats. For like heated hair caps, which i just discovered um, i may actually try it out in one of my videos but yeah. So if you want to do all that yeah you can also. This is very good for the days when you need to take a shower and you don't want to wet your hair, because i know when i had straight hair, i had to wear a shower cap, because the steam from the shower will always puff up my hair And the same goes to when you have curly hair, naturally curly hair, and you do your curls if their steam is going to puff up your curls most of the time i mean, if you have good products in there, it should be fine, but the steam is Just not good, i think steam is kind of like the same for humidity, the mixture of heat and water and for natural hair. It'S just not good unless you're like taking care of your hair like for a wash day or something, but that's it. That'S all. Those are my top 20 hair products, hair accessories of 2020 and if you're still watching, you are a lucky one, because i talked to santa claus, okay and he said that i should give you guys a surprise giveaway. Those are two of my favorite hair trends that i have tried and i really like that and just like the big hair look and the fringes, but you guys know i like that. CasuallyCoasting: My favorite hair trend for 2020 was the different rubber band and twist styles into the afro-puffs...I just loved how playful those looks could be and how accessible they were because I'm not experienced with braiding enough to try other styles. Also being able to use different color rubber bands for different outfits was a plus.

Genesis McBride: My favorite trend would have that i have been seeing more people embracing their natural hair and rocking itAlso the scrunchies. I wanna get more too IG: dream_success

Octavia Not Olivia: My favourite? Seeing so many beautiful women return to their natural roots! I am one of them. Been chemically altered since my 8th birthday and went natural in 202 for the first time in 47 years! So many more products are available now that didn't exist in the 60's and 70's. Loving my hair and the natural hair of so many others!

alex: I'm seriously loving the scrunchie trend. I've boogie with my hair so I've bought quality silk scrunchies from Amazon and Nordstrom Rack over the past year to 2 years. Still expensive, but I used satin my whole life and saw an improvement in my kinky curly hair when I made my first silk purchase. Plus the shine on silk is different from satin and looks so good in hairstyles; I wash my silk accessories with my hair products (using straight hair quantities of product) @starborn600

Ashley gallo: Fav hair trend has to be the big scrunchies for sure. IG: ashg598

MiVidaBellisima: My favorite hair trend was the quarantine style series: everyone was mostly at home so they wanted to focus on protective styling and healthy hair rather than just focusing on it looking “cute”. My hair has been in twists in a bun for a while and it’s growing like crazy! Ig: MiVidaBellisima1
