Nothing is safe, i'm going for the hair care products, so let me just start everything. Y'All see me toss over here in this corner. Inside of this sink is the stuff that has to go um. I'M actually surprised. This is everything i pulled from underneath my cabinets and y'all know. Let me backtrack a little bit. Y'All know that i'm on this decluttering journey i've gone with the clothes right like in my last video, if you haven't seen it check it out, but i my goal was to get down to 50 items of clothing. I have not done that yet, but i'm so close and the reason i stopped trying to force myself to get to 50 is because i had to remind myself that this decluttering journey isn't about getting rid of things. I, like it's not about getting rid of things, that i love it's about, getting rid of things that i haven't access and that i don't need so at this moment i feel like the amount of clothes i have are what i need now, if i go buy New clothes, then that's a different story. I will most likely get rid of something that i have like, i'm not in a place right now, where i want to just add on top of the clothing i have, but where i am right now is a good cushion for me. So if y'all want more details about where i'm at in regards to my clothing journey, go see the part two of the black girl, minimalist video and so right now um, i'm in the bathroom i am on to the skincare products and after this video, my next Video, i plan to show you guys how i've decluttered digitally just kind of talking you through how i declutter my devices and how i plan on going from so much paper to more digital, so that i have less paper on hand. So that's all next, but as of right now, your girl is knee deep in these hair care products. Like i said, i pulled everything from up underneath my bathroom cabinet, and these are the products that i have. I was really surprised, as i was pulling everything out, to see how many jars i have in here that are low-key kind of like empty, and i was trying to i'm always trying to find out like the the mental reasoning like the science behind like why. I do some of the stuff that i do and what i think happened like let's even go with this like y'all y'all see this like this thing is practically empty. There'S barely anything in here and i think i'm like oh i'ma - keep it because you know there's this there's a little bit in here. So you know i'm gon na be able to use it. But then, next time i go to the store i re-up on it and then what happens? Is i end up using the new one and this one just kind of sits in the back of the cabinet, so i'm gon na do something a little interesting. A lot of these have empty jars if they're, essentially the same product like if it's like um, if they're all masked, if they're all shampoos uh, call me crazy, but i'ma mix them together, so that i can get down to one. And i'm also going to from here on sorry, i'm trying to think through my thoughts but or process my thoughts, but from here moving forward. I am going to not purchase any other product until i'm completely out and we have this culture of like. I think it's like a feeling of scarcity like we. We want to oh i'm almost out of this, so let me hurry up and re-up on it and it's like i i'm feeling like i'm like. No, if i'm not out of it, i'ma just run out and then i'm gon na go get it like. I don't have to hurry up and re-up the world's not gon na end. If i use all of my shampoo up like if i use it up when i throw the bottle away, then i'll order more, and i think i have to train my mind to stop feeling like i have to hurry up and re-up on stuff and that's gon Na be the key to not having a cabinet that looks like this anymore, so i'm gon na jump right in i'm gon na start, decluttering mixing stuff up and figuring out uh. What'S got ta go okay, so i'm gon na start with all of the product. I got this fork in my hand, because i'm gon na use it to scoop out and mix these products, so i'm gon na start. I'M gon na do my best to start with the things that are like half empty like this. This is design essentials, almond and avocado curling cream. I know for a fact that i have another curling cream here: um, that's styling milk and it seems like kind of tedious but um. Here it is curling style milk. I feel like i can mix that with curling cream, so uh it's gon na go in here and this one is a shea moisture, coconut and hibiscus curl and style milk and i'm mo um look. This is all this is still a good amount like i'm. Not i'm not being wasteful, i'm not gon na throw it away, but it is gon na it's gon na get added to this, and these are gon na get mixed up. I guarantee you. It'S not gon na freaking like kill my my hair to mix these products up and if y'all want. Let me know in the comments if y'all want me to do a video showing me use the products that i've mixed up. Should you never know these companies might uh, they might decide to do a little product mix and go together because they got inspired by me, mixing their products up so yeah design, essentials, almond and avocado curling cream? I'M mixing it with this shea moisture, because i've had this like y'all, i can't even tell y'all the last time i pulled this almond and avocado curling cream out of the cabinets because i haven't been using it. I'Ve been using this one and now they're gon na get mixed up y'all boom, just like that. So this has now become trash. My nose is itching all right trash boom and i got this this. I got this box from a hair company that i purchased hair from at one point in time, so i'ma actually see how much of my stuff yeah that can work. I'M gon na see how much of my stuff can fit in this box. So i think my goal - i got this from from uh heat-free hair. I used to order hair from them all the time and uh they sent the hair in this. Look how sturdy that box is like it's like one of those things where, like you get in you're like i, don't wanna throw this away. It'S too nice, so i'm gon na see if i can get all of my hair care products to fit in this box. Y'All pray; okay, let's keep going! This is actually two of the same product yeah, i'm tripping y'all. These two are exactly the same, because these containers are kind of hard to to get out of like it's hard for me to get product out of them. You see how i'm gon na keep both of them, because decluttering is a journey like y'all. If y'all jump into this and minimalism is a journey. If y'all jump into this wanting to be perfect and all of a sudden, i have minimal stuff, then you're not gon na you're gon na end up being more disappointed, because the impatience that you're gon na develop within yourself is gon na make you just wan na Quit so i'm gon na keep both, but i'm gon na make sure that i use them, i'm going to use them. This is curling custard, which i mean. If you ask me that means it's gel um, i'm gon na rinse this off to me, curling custard, means gel because that's what it looks like so this gel is kinky curly original curling custard, it's gon na go in here with my actually i have another gel. I got three things of things that are technically gel, so i'm gon na put them all into this eco styler. The super olive 10 times hole, which is the gel y'all, saw me use um or that i talked about in the video where i i did. My bun on my short hair empty look at that. We'Ve been doing this for less than five minutes y'all and we already getting rid of things gel, and this is an example of what i was telling y'all like about how i had used this and i had got low on this one. And so i went - and i bought this one, but instead of continuing to use this one until it was all gone. I just popped this one open and i started using it like. I need to get it together, so empty they're, all mixed in okay. So that's gel, i don't think i have any other gel products. Then i'm gon na sell these because they've never been open. Actually, i'm gon na just give them away if y'all want these. If y'all want these leave me a comment, and i promise you i will send them to you for free. I might just ask you to pay for the shipping, but, and who knows, i might even just pay for it, but they're honey blonde. I was gon na dye, my hair again at one point in time, but some stuff happened with acting. I ended up keeping my hair the same like my natural color and just letting the color i already had grow out. So i have two cream of nature: honey. Blonde hair dyes, if y'all want these, let me know, because i'm not going to use them, i purchased them and it's the day they arrived. I realized that i wasn't going to be able to use them, so these are containers these they're practically empty. It'S like nothing in here, and these are my this is. I was using it to test my purifying detox cleanser from lola bell's view shameless plug, but it is the best skincare product i have ever used. It'S the best face, cleanser i've ever used in my entire life, and i'm not just saying that, because it's my company, okay, but it's all the same product. So once again, all of this is getting mixed in. I have another one too another tester all this stuff about to go away. This is actually empty yo. I have a problem like i have so much stuff, that's empty or halfway empty. It'S ridiculous. Before, though, shout out lola bell's purifying detox cleanser is made with coconut charcoal, meaning the choke. The charcoal was made from burning coconut shells and not wood, which makes it safer more pure and better at pulling out toxins from your skin. So, if you're looking for a new cleanser that doesn't dry your skin out and that is moisturizing and effective at the same time, then please i'll leave the link in the bio, because that this is your. This has to be your new go-to all right. This is 100 raw, shea butter from shea moisture. I honestly i haven't been using it. It'S been sitting underneath my cabinet, i'm going to keep it and i'm going to start using it. My vaseline y'all saw the reflexes all right vaseline i used that got to be glued. Your girl been buying wigs lately and this stuff is amazing, so this is another mask. This is completely empty. Please tell me: i'm not the only person that got empty stuff underneath my cabinet okay, so we got i'm doing another mix, the cantu shea butter for natural hair, deep treatment mask and i'm mixing it with the pure honey, moisture, replenish and strength, hair mask so one's From cantu the other is from cream of nature, so i'm going to use the back end of this and once brown and the others white my hands are dirty empty. This is a face scrub that i have been using. This is a face mask that i do use a lot of this stuff. I do use. Am i empty? So a lot of my clutter comes from products that these can be mixed. It'S just two of my toning creams. The toning cream from lola bells is a moisturizing cream that you put on after washing, and you can also wear it under your makeup but check out the ingredients at lolabellesbeauty.com, because you can it's it's formulated so that you can tone and moisturize your face. At the same time, so there's not like some five step: skin care, routine, it's literally just wash, and then you tone and moisturize together y'all got stuff everywhere. Let me wet my hands, then we got conditioner shampoo. This is a leave-in conditioner. I would mix these two. Oh, no because this is a conditioning, hair lotion. This is a leave-in conditioner. This is a shampoo. So all of those are things that i use. I have two braid sprays, i'm gon na mix them together. One is african pride, braid, sheen spray and the other is soy. Organics braid sheen they get mixed. It just is what it is and just ease what it is. Boom braid spray i got. This is lotion. I got this from the airbnb. I was saying that in palm springs, so we'll keep that, but i'm gon na leave it out. So i can make sure i use it. This is soap, i know y'all, don't think i'm about to get rid of my soap now. Look, i can't even close the door. Let'S just sit down all right, that's so that's staying! This is mousse i'll, be using it on my weaves. This is mouthwash, which is a necessity. Hair rollers, look y'all, we get it somewhere. This thing is empty. Y'All see what i'm saying like this: this scarcity, like i'm gon na, keep it just in case. I need the last little squeeze. I got ta stop. I can't stop y'all, i'm so happy because we're getting somewhere okay, so i'm gon na pull in all of this stuff. A little closer, so y'all can see it. I hope y'all can see it better. So, okay, i think i did the easy part first, like it's easy to get rid of stuff, that's like half empty and and all of this all right. So once again like i said this is a leave-in conditioner is stand. This is a shampoo. It'S saying this is a hair lotion is staying because and so as of right now, with the exception of those first two curling milks um, i only have one of everything: mouthwash is staying, moose it's staying, so this is my staying pile y'all, i'm gon na show Y'All underneath the cabinet - this is a spray i put on after my makeup. So that's stained. This is clippings and y'all know how your girl feel about her clippings and if you don't go see my video with my bun. This is a shower cap, just one of each right and so feminine products. I bought feminine products in and it was in this container, and so what i've been doing lately actually is just dumping them. I just haven't done it with these new ones, but i literally just dump them all in here. If y'all think this is tmi, then uh you might be a little too young watching my channel but yeah. So all my feminine products just stay in here boom. So that way i don't have a bunch of boxes and whenever i buy a new box from the store i just open it up and i'll dump it into this container. The original container came from. It just says: l, that's the name of the brand is l, so i got it from them. Can you see this if not i'll, make sure that i put a clearer picture like up here somewhere if this one isn't clear, but it's just it's l, but i found this in like target, i think, and after i used them as i continued buying like different Brands and different boxes - i just started putting i kept the plastic container and i started putting them all in there. So there's that these are hair, rollers y'all, i'm not even gon na lie. I have not rolled like put rollers in my hair in a long time. I don't like sleeping in these: it's literally just a bag full of these hair rollers and scent, because i haven't used these in the past 90 days, if not more, i'm gon na just get rid of them. This is trash now as to whether or not i want to keep the little baggie, i'm gon na say no, like a part of me wants to be like, oh, but i could put something in here. I could - and i think that's that's the part of the journey that i'm really starting to see a shift in is that i'm no longer, i no longer want to say things like. Oh, i could put this in here or i could use this it's like. If i can't use it right now right now in this moment, if i can't think of any use for this bag, i don't need it like that that oh, but what, if, like? That'S that scarcity? That'S that fear, at least in my mind, that's how i interpret it and so because i can't think of anything right now that i might need to use this bag for i'm not going to keep it on a what. If your girl ain't operating from what. If no more, all right so the bag and the rollers has got to go, this is this. Whole bag is full of just like nail polish, like and my daughter - and i you see like literally it's all nail polish and a there's - a tape, a tape measure. So i'm gon na keep that, but it's literally this whole bag is just nail polish, so i am going to keep that because this bag represents how me and my daughter bond, we get the nail polish bag and we sit and we paint our nails. This is a diffuser, i'm probably going to give it to my daughter. It'S an essential oil diffuser, i'm going to give it to my daughter, because i haven't used it in the past 90 days. If i didn't have a daughter, i would just throw it away to be honest, so it's something that i have that i haven't used and that's kind of like my benchmark, um right now as far as what i'm doing with the rest of this stuff. If i haven't used it within the last 90 days, i'm forcing myself to ask then: do you really need it, or do you just like the idea of having it? Do you like the idea of just being able to say? Oh, i have an essential oil diffuser and you don't really use it like. It reminds me of like people who cook like not people who cook, but you know you know those people like who have a bunch of fancy stuff they'd be like. Oh, i have a bread maker and i have a lemon squeezer but uh, but they ain't never even used it. They just enjoy saying it and that's who i feel like when i'm doing this, like i'm like i just like the idea of saying i have an essential oil diffuser, but i have not used this mug in at least 90 days because it's been sitting in the Back of my cabinet, so it's got to go. I'Ma sit this over here, though, only because i'm giving it to my daughter but, like i said, if i didn't have a daughter, i wouldn't keep it all right, so we getting down to the nitty gritty y'all. This is in every black girl's cabinet and you cannot tell me that it's not hair, i got hair. This is uh. The package is so loud, so that's why i'm hesitating to pick it up, because i don't want the sound to be annoying, but i haven't used it. I braided my daughter's hair, i put crochet braids in my daughter's hair and this was left over. They even gave us a tool, but i already have like two crochet tools, and so this package has never been opened. It'S got to go like i'm, not using it. I already have two crochet tools. I probably should get rid of one, but i'm keeping two, because i'm telling my the story that i'm telling myself is that in case one breaks or i can't find another. I have an extra, and i know that kind of goes against everything, but, like i said, minimalism doesn't have to be uncomfortable. It doesn't it's a journey eventually i'll get to where i only need one like. Why am i creating this space of worry the same way? I just did with the essential oil diffuser, but right now, because those things are so plastic and simple, i feel like i need to keep it in case one breaks, but this would be a third one, and so it's got to go. Yes, i'm just getting rid of i'm getting rid of the hair. What'S this more hair, y'all, remember when i had those twists in my head: go to my instagram page, queen ruby lee, and you can scroll back and you can see when i had those twists in my head extra hair. Don'T need it! What it's going to challenge me to do is to start only buying y'all know how y'all know how we do when we buy packs of hair. We know good and well that our head only take three packs but we'll buy four. Just in case, i'm challenging you as i'm challenging myself to. If you know you got a three pack head, don't buy four packs of hair, because that's what i do as a matter of fact, i think i bought six packs of hair because i was like you never know they might be skimpy and i use three packs And kept the other three look. Hair is gone because i know i'm not gon na use it. I'M not planning on doing my hair like this no time since hair, not using it. This is a little bun thing. I'M gon na keep that y'all, know military and me the uh. The did y'all know that some of y'all be watching my channel y'all don't be knowing me. I was uh in the army for six years, so yeah uh buns have a special place in my heart. So i'm gon na keep this in case. I have to use it. These are just curling irons. I'M gon na keep these because i've been planting, wigs and stuff now, and you never know, i might wan na - do a little video of me trying to learn how to curl my hair. These are clips like how i do a lot of clip ins. I have these are just two little clips in case one of my clip-ins decide to trip. I can you know re-up and re-sew it on there. So there's that all of this is first aid stuff. I'M not gon na go through all of my first aid stuff but um. I do encourage you that if you don't have a first aid bag, i know it ain't pretty it's a wrinkly ziploc bag, but if you don't have one you need to get it. This is also a part of that same first aid bag. This is just a hair tie, a hair scrunchie and a shower cap, so y'all saw the big purple shower cap, so i already have a shower cap. These are got, ta go so now we just got a box and it's got a needle in there. I need to keep this needle for in case i wanna use it with these clip-ins. So i'm gon na keep that don't poke me empty box, don't even need it more hair. This is these are the other two i was telling y'all. I had the other two crochet tools and uh, more hair rubber bands. I do need hair ties, so i'm gon na pull the hair ties out of here and then all of this hair, i think that's gon na be the hardest part. I want y'all to. Let me know how much hair y'all got underneath your cabinets, because i know y'all got some i'm taking these hair ties out, because if y'all haven't seen my daughter's hair yo, we got to keep hair ties because my sweetness, her hair so thick they break once a Week so i'm keeping the hair ties, then i got all these extra rubber bands, these hair clips, for when i'm laying the lace on my wigs, i need to make sure i can pull the hair out of the way, so i'm keeping that i already have an Edge brush this one is going it's cute, but i already have one that i use this thing been tucked away and i haven't used it in a minute. So the whole bag has got to go y'all, we did it, we did it y'all. We went from that. Large pile that i showed y'all in the beginning to here, and so now, i'm going to place everything under my cabinet and i'm going to show you guys what it looks like under my cabinet before my cabinet was so packed. It was so full. It was hard to find exactly what i needed, i'm not going to keep everything in this box. I just use the box as a benchmark like if it can't go in the box or if the box starts to get way too full and overflowing, then i know that i probably have too many products, so maybe you know that will work for you guys. Also. I encourage you to if you are decluttering underneath your cabinet as far as things that go in bottles it find a certain box and as you're decluttering, if it can't fit within that box, then maybe it's a sign that it's got to go now. Obviously, all of my things didn't fit in the box, but the large majority of them did, and so this is everything we're keeping y'all y'all remember the picture from the beginning. This is a big difference. This is everything we're throwing away everything all fit into the sink. All of this look empty stuff, empty stuff, hair boxes like y'all, we doing it, even even the spork has got to go. You'Ve done your job now i wish i would have shown you guys. My cabinet, before i pulled everything out, but i mean y'all, saw all of the stuff on top of the cabinet. I can i'm sure that you guys can imagine what it looked like underneath here. It was bad. Just trust me when i tell you it was bad. Okay, so, like i got space like, i got space to actually reach in and grab what i need y'all. I got rid of so much stuff and there's a a certain level of anxiety. I think you get when you open up a cabinet and it's just full of stuff. You can't find what you need and y'all when i open this cabinet up now i can tell you you know: my heart won't be racing as fast, i'm so excited. Let me know you know what you guys are doing on your decluttering journeys and on your minimalism journeys. I would love to know if you know these videos are helping you guys, and you know what value that you're getting out of them, so that i can continue to provide it and y'all. Thank you so much for being on this journey with me until next time. Y'All be good

KIKI 🦋: Loved the video you’ve inspired me to post my journey! The only thing I would have kept was rollers! I’ve done that beck hadn’t used them in a few months and I regretted it since & repurchased. I go through waves sometimes I don’t wanna mess with my natural hair for a few months & will rock wigs and protective styles; but I also switch it up with my natural hair so I got rid of them while on a wig streak and girlllll I was sad every time I reached for it! and yes I have excess damn braiding hair!! The crinkly paper noise irritates me!

LoveInTheWebb: I need more minimalism videos thank you!!

Mo Lifestyle: You should play the minimalism game. I'm on day 8. Yes I think we all over buy on hair extensions lol, I have a carryon full . Notification gang

DOORLOVER: Haha sometimes i mix when im running out and it doesnt mix well or smells 2 werid but its worth a try! Its still running out

LoveInTheWebb: I just went through the other day and got rid of half of my closet.
