Full: Tracee Ellis Ross On Her Hair Care Line, Pattern

Real fam, what’s your go-to hair care product?

Before embracing your amazing curls that are such a signature, I'm sure that's, okay. You tried a lot of different things to achieve what you described as easy and breezy bouncing and behaving hair. Well, that's what they were telling you you had to have in order for people to like, yet for you to be lovable and pretty so cute by the oh, my god, the worst thing you've ever done to your hair. Well, I think it was a whole journey in time period of bad stuff. I used to beat my hair into submission. It was dried and fried and tired, and over and done I relaxed my hair. I went to the salon every Saturday to get it blown out and then the rest of the week was trying to maintain that salon hair for the rest of the week and by Thursday yeah by Thursday. You would wear that tight, tight ponytail. That would give you a headache and my mom would whip out the iron on the stove for the morning. Again, though, Lynch is flat - and I mean I would sleep in rollers and wake up with a crick in my neck, but my hair yeah. I went through all of it until I finally started this journey of understanding, loving and getting to know my hair, but I mean 20 years ago I started dreaming about these products because I wanted them. I felt like they didn't exist and then, ten years ago, when girlfriend's finished, I wrote my first haircare line, beauty pitch yeah and it's it's. I have it in the commuters it's 2008 and it took me ten years to get this [ Applause ]. To me, the curly coily tight textures. It is both about having key products and about being in a community and loving your hair, loving what you have and not trying to do something. My hair's, healthy it'll do anything that I wanted to Wow. That'S the key yeah. So Tracy, what's the response been like for your hair time? That'S been very exciting. We sold out people want this. They knew there's a message. We are in the process of restocking exactly so in the first two hours, some of our key products sold out completely completely yeah. We completely over went over what we expected and we tried to aim high September 20s exceeded. That'S the word September 22nd. We will be available nationwide, it all be open every time you pop on the screen. I think it's me so yes and right now, it's available pattern, beauty, calm and I and yeah it's really it's a dream for me. I tried within the course of six months 74 samples Wow to get to that. Well, you're, amazing Tracy. Thank you so much for being here today with us Tracy's, hair care line pattern. Beauty is available now for more information head over to the real calm and the premiere of mixes debuts Tuesday, [ Applause, ]

Hadi Yazid: First Fenty, then Savage and now Pattern. Business is booming for my fellow people of color.

GoodOlAllisonHarvard: @3:08 The look of endearment and belonging Tracee gave Tamera when she was talking about “Mixedish”!

Bianca Summers: you can tell Tracee loves Tamera

Saniah Prater: I love Tam and Tracee’s Chemistry whenever Tracee is on the show

ANNA ROSE: It's amazing to see how black women are versatile with their hair! We can wear a wig, braids and our natural hair. I just really wish Loni showed us her natural hair on the real. She has this huge platform with women of color and she's the only one in 6 years who has never showed her natural hair.... It was the perfect platform to rock her natural hair imo....Anyway I said that with love and respect for Loni she's gorgeous! I just hope one day she'll feel comfortable enough to show us her beautiful crown!

HopeSpeakNow: She is so awesome, lively, uplifting. Love her!!!

Sara Elisabeth: "I'd wake up with a crick in my neck, but my hair would be cute!" nobody got time for all that. My grandma put rollers in my hair when I was really little, I said nah this ain't it

sunrises: I really want Adrienne to get hercurls nice and healthy again. Maybe thats why she's been wearing it to get her hair healthy again and not put heat on it. Her curly hair was so beautiful

ANNA ROSE: Congratulations Tracie! I've heard good things about the products!

Eve Yitagesu: Tracee has been my crush since season 1 of 'girlfriends'.

Melissa Foster: I just love the mixed, curly hair vibes going on in this video!!! Love Tracee and Tamara together ❤️

nawal10: She’s so sexy and beautiful and her personality is amazing

David Tarnib: Tamara you can’t steal all the shine. Slay girl

K. McDonald: I could see Tracee and Tamera doing a sitcom in their old age ... two single older black sisters living together ... id watch that

Riana: I'm so happy for Tracee! GET IT, GIRL!

marcanthony_34: We MUST protect her at all cost

Chrissy Got The Coils: I tried it, I love the conditioner It's just too much of a luxury price

Slothyy: It’s crazy for me as a young male to think that “back in the day” Curly Hair wasn’t something looked upon as beautiful

pe ter: i get that curly hair of all textures was looked down upon and that the journey to loving oneself is long, but hearing about curly hair struggles from type 3 curlies (myself included) just doesn't bring to light the gravity of the problem. need more 4b/c representation thanks. yes i know 'pattern' is marketed to all curl types but when are we gonna address the mad stigma that still exists against tight, kinky, coiled hair?

copyWRITEmyish: She inspires me to keep my curls

Christfollower Love: It's odd to me that it took her ten years to get her products out there, being famous. Curly hair care lines like Oyin handmade, qhemet biologics, shea moisture have been around for years. I feel like there are so many curly hair care lines, Im not too excited to try this one. Her line is expensive too. But I wish her success with her line.

LOLA BYRD: I’m having a hard time picturing Diana Ross with a hot comb on the stove lol

Shameka Dorsett: ❤❤❤Cant wait to try pattern

Lakshmi G: I bloody love Tracee

JOYCE SUNGU: I just love this lady and how she's soon funny

******: jennie your body has got better, keep going

Tonia's Reviews: My twin I cant wait to try it!!

B W: Tried it loved it as you can see in the pic my curls are nice and moisturized

Emily Pierre: Tameras little gasp when tracee said she used to relax her hair.

Curtis 23: She looks good still.

2020Vision: I wish these "natural" products weren't so expensive you have to try everthing to see what works and it gets pretty pricey.. I will try her line

알려줌마: I would try her hair stayle someday!

Lisa T-Wright: Especially today (yeah bc of the curls too!) I'm noticing a resemblance between Tamara and Tracy! Big eyes, complexion... EDIT: 2:33 Guess I Was Kinda Right

FanTaesy: Those beautiful women with the natural hair at 1:00

Crazy Chick Sheena: Love my Mixish sister ♀ and the real one of my favorite shows

KiwiRosa: I wonder if Tracee's hair care line is a natural and organic hair care brand

TheBrownIsland: I hope Loni is listening, because she's the Only one out of all of the Ladies who is ashamed of her Real hair. Was crying about how she feels that people will laugh at her if she wears her Hair out. All the ladies have worn their Natural hair out except her. Posting a not so clear Pic of your hair on your Instagram is different from wearing your own hair on National TV & embracing who you really are.

Vanessa Williams: Some of her products have sulfates, silicones, alcohols & waxes. Plus that price. No thank you, but that's great for her.

Sharissa Davision: Im 4C and I doubt it will work on my hair. Wash day is a nightmare nothing but shrinkage and knots.

konan madeleine: The Game is Girlfriend's spin off and Tia's character is joan's cousin , no wonder she likes Tamera too

Señor Frijol: Tam and traci need a show...

Dani: I don't really think they look like sisters, but I do think they both look very Ethiopian looking which makes them share a similarity

Jahleel Wasser: now I love me some tracee ellis ross. However, SISTA yo products are out of my price range.....

Tik Tok Addict: I’m surprised the audience didn’t get any lol

Peyton Morris: Her and Tamera look alike!

JungleYT Jim: Another secret girlfriend I'll never have... LOL I didn't realize how curly Tamera's hair is too until now. Jeannie Mai looking tight... My feelings are hurt

syckindahead: "But hair would be cute" fax!

TwiFiveGirls101: Is this just for curly type 3 hair? Can type 4 use it?

Hello YouTube: Now u KNOW that camera man is shady at 1:00

Karoline WithaK: Y’all did her dirty with that thumbnail

Brat Prez: Can we please fire the person who manages the YouTube channel!!! Everything out of order. How is there a part 2 of a segment but no part one? Could we just do one video for the whole segment? And stop holding out on things till later on in the week. I want to watch Monday’s show when I have time later on MONDAY!!! Could you just put the whole show in one video I’d prefer that with a bunch of ads in between. PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER! Also stop putting up old segments at random put the dates on it if that’s the case then I rewatching something I already watched but it’s so far back I’m not sure.

Marveline D.: I want that hair

TaD D: Why is Loni so quiet?

Rose O: Who picked that thumbnail ‍♀️

Tlade o: it better work on 4c hair..

Amari Bannerman: is it in family dollar

Amani Weaver: that’s great n all but my hair is thick and nappy, ima relax until i die. My natural hair is tooooooooll much to deal with.

syckindahead: Okay ULTA!!

LALA MOTH: lol 1:12

David Lee: damn lonnie is huge lol

Julia Branca: Does anyone think we do not have eyes???to see her lies?? That hair is not right!!wonder how much they hair people are paying her!!
