So in today's video we have a brand new hair routine. For my girl, i am mario right yeah. It'S her hair washed detangled conditioned [ Laughter ]. I am ready one two, i uh so who brings you here aya? I want to share with you guys her newest hair care, wash condition detangle routine. So with that, let's get to it all right, so we got my girl in her bib turned into a salon. What do you call this? Apron yeah show the abra. We got the doctor all set up and we got the ipad. My girl does not watch tv or not allowed to watch tv at all. So the only time we allow her to watch her educational videos is when she's doing her hair. So she correlates her hair with tv time, so she never complains about getting her hair done. Only educational videos too yeah, because my baby girl is smart. Okay, you know the way she's so serious where she's well. She is just so funny, so we start off with washing the hair for aya and she needs a lot of water to set totally saturate her hair. Is it too cold? No, she just is scared the waters when i get into her face yeah. I know. Oh listening holds my hair prior um, just a little bit of oil kind of oil avocado and olive oil. I like to rinse her hair um for a while, so i wanted to get comfortable with the water we used to wash our hair in the tub and it would get all over her eyes and just not a pleasant experience at all, so um wetting her hair In the sink allows her to get more comfortable with the water, and hopefully when she's older she'll still allow me to do this all right, so we are going in with the red pimento shampoo from tropic isles. You guys probably have seen this in various other videos with aya and her hair, we're still continuing to use it because it is literally amazing, so it has um ways of detoxifying the scalp um. I put a lot of oils in aya's hair to keep it from drying out, and it's really important that i clean out her scalp on wash days, which is once a week. So her hair can actually grow and it won't be super clogged and i got ta. Give my girl that head massage - because i want this to be as soothing and calming as possible, so she doesn't hate getting her hair done, because when she gets older, her hair is gon na, be a lot harder to maintain, and i want to give her the Best experience possible, so we don't have trouble at the end of the day and just giving it a quick rinse make sure all the soap and shampoo is out and then we're going to go in with the conditioner. So this is also from tropic aisles. It is their hydrating conditioner um. This will make her curls pop, so we keep it in for about 10 to 15 minutes. Give her a head massage. I like to incorporate dada in into her hair routine, because in the event that mama doesn't want to do her, hair dada has to step in and she has to get used to it. So dada is a fundamental part of her hair wash routine once a week like i said before so i have super pin straight hair and washing ayah's hair. I realize how much stuff can get stuck in the curls, so we definitely do our hardest to just soak. Her hair in water and rinse it as much as possible. Another thing that i have learned is: unlike my hair: you cannot just smush the towel on your hair to dry. You just got ta pat it, because her hair again is super curly and if you do basically mush the towel on her hair for lack of a better term um, it does get super matted. So we just like to press and absorb as much of the water as possible and because her hair is still wet and curly we like to put the oil while the hair is still saturated. That'Ll allow the oils to seep into her hair follicles wow. Look at you aiya, so we warmed up some olive oil, it's not hot, but it's a little warm and this will penetrate better into her hair, so we're just gon na massage it [ Applause ]. We do a three-step conditioning. Look at you three-step conditioning first step. We put olive oil, that's wrong. The first condition that we did was with the at the sink, which is the conditioner that adds that's with the shampoo, the one that dada did then. The second is the olive oil. The third will be the leave-in conditioner, so you can just see how soft her hair is. Now after we do the wash what's up boy. What'S up, what are you doing in the sport he's gon na have to do a wash in here, yeah we'll see. So if you look at you sorry i didn't mean to touch your head, but if you look at issa's hair, you can tell the texture completely changed after we cut it. So it came back more coarse and mommy thinks that or more thicker mommy thinks that it's going to end up like aya's hair. I think it's going to end up like mommy's hair, but we'll see, let's see, isa's attempt trying to reach across his roly wheelie thing. Whatever you want to call it, i reach, i mean isa is reach issa, reach, [ Applause, ], no, okay, you over it! Okay got it here. It'S right here, come i'll, make it easier for you i'll tip it over, want to grab it grab it isa. Okay, i'll make it more easier for you. I made it a lot easier for you now, so you can grab all this. Oh my gosh! Now, why are you looking at this, for you want to go back to this now? Okay, good! You happy here good job. Okay, i'll, let you be you can make out with the piano over there. My boys are already tongue kissing practicing tongue. Kissing. Should i be worried, so the shrinkage is real. You guys look how long her hair is right. Wow it's down to her back middle of her back yep, but then it just this beautiful from a girly girl. Has it just curls up yeah um, so we're gon na be using this leave-in conditioner. It'S jamaican black, castor oil strengthening and restoring leave-in conditioner. It has shea butter, peppermint and apple cider vinegar, so i use literally this much. That'S it a little bit more. So this much and i just seal. This is the third step i just seal all the moisture that we just did on her hair little goes a very long way. You can see that her curls is popping i am jealous. I want your hair, i know i want her hair too. My beautiful girl michelle, it gets all the knots out and then you can see that her curls literally come to life wow wow yeah, it's pretty amazing. The important thing is to make sure her hair is as detangled as possible because i only wash your hair once a week um because washing it too much will dry it out. So we try to keep it as detangled as possible, but you guys can see the crazy shrinkage all right. So the last thing i'm doing is just some finger twists just to keep her hair from becoming um knotted. So we do as tight as we can possibly get. Look at that and we do thick ones say: hi, aya, hi, dancing, dancy and i actually don't make any specific parts. I just part it. Whichever way. I please nothing crazy and i have one question yeah: what are you looking at this guy decided to join us? I think he's ready for his his uh wash and hair routine too. You want to go yeah, you ready for it. Yeah you wanna, hair care. You think you twist, your hair can twist like eyes he's like no, but i'm hungry, [ Applause ], sir all right. So this is the quick is over. There is getting hungry, so i'm just showing you the quick do little finger. Curls her roots are super curly. So it's as good as it's gon na get tomorrow, i'll, probably take the curls and make them into little buns uh. But for now i'm gon na. Let her sleep like this, because it's still a little wet and i want it to dry all right there. You have it ayamaya's, hair is done, dada's, actually putting issa to sleep. Two tips tho...because curly hair needs a lot of moisture, towel drying the hair takes out the natural moisture that water gives, so the more saturated our curly hair is (with water), the better our curls look after adding moisturizers and oils. Second tip is that oils are really sealants, so they don’t necessarily add moisture (coconut oil is one of the very very few oils that can penetrate the hair shaft/follicle), so it’s recommended that u use the moisturizer of choice first, and then add the oil (s) to seal in that moisture. I know curly hair is new to u, but keep up the good job Zee!!
