Have you ever walked around the personal care section of a store and looked at the ingredients in the products you put on your skin and on your body every day, it's actually kind of scary and for the last year, but specifically the last few months, I've been Looking at and researching the ingredients in these products and exactly what they do to your body and it's bad, my friends, if you think the ingredients in food is bad, Personal Care is even worse. We'Re talking ingredients that are derived from petroleum from tar and they're linked to hormone disruption, endocrine disruption. You don't want that on your body, so let's walk around and show you when it comes to lotions, deodorant shampoo body wash what are the bad ingredients in there exactly? Why they're bad, but, more importantly, how to swap them out with a better for you Bobby approved non-toxic products before we do that, I do want you to also check out thrivemarket.com using my promo link down below they're a big supporter of the channel, but they also Have a lot of the clean non-toxic products I'm going to talk about for way cheaper than most stores uh on or on average, you save about 32 dollars per order when using Thrive market and when you click my link down below you get 30 off your first Order and a free gift - and it's 30 days, risk-free and I'll - put all of my favorite non-toxic products for the whole video. I'M going to talk about in the description box, check them out on Thrive, Market you'll get a great deal so less talking more shopping. Let'S walk around CBS, walking down the shampoo and conditioner aisle here I don't see any that are Bobby approved, but I do see a lot of the most popular brands that people use on a daily basis and here's a prime example of one. This is Garnier Sleek and Shine, and it's hard to see the ingredients, but right up top see what it says right. There SLS now there's other issues here, but you're going to find something called sodium, lauryl sulfate in almost all shampoos and that's a problem because that's a scrubbing agent. Actually, it's the same scrubbing agent. They put in toothpaste that you want to avoid too. But this is such a good, scrubbing agent, meaning a harsh one that not only cleanses your hair, which, by the way, just got a haircut this morning, huh not too shabby um. It not only cleanses your hair, but it strips your hair and your scalp of a lot of the natural oils and moisture in there. It can make your hair brittle and it's such a harsh, scrubbing agent. It can make your scalp irritated and I have a Sensitive Scalp. So anytime, you see SLS or sles in a shampoo to abrasive. Put it back, so we'll put the Garnier back and then this is something I think I used to use back in the day. This argon oil stuff here it looks like it's a premium shampoo and it's really hard to see the ingredients. It doesn't have the SLS, but it has a ton of other things in here see in the bottom. Artificial colors are to be avoided. I'Ll tell you why a little bit later, but see all these pegs here, pegs have all these different numbers after them, pegs are almost always based out of petroleum. Petroleum is toxic. You don't want that on your skin, so this is a no, but maybe the most egregious offender is something I used to use back in the day for dandruff and dry scalp Head and Shoulders classic, and you know all these A-list actors. I remember Sofia: Vergara was waving her hair in these commercials for her head and shoulders. They ain't using it. I promise you so you look at the ingredients on the back here and once again, a blue one. Artificial color is how they get that I'll talk about that in another aisle. You want to avoid that, but sometimes with these chemicals you can't necessarily pronounce them. It doesn't mean they're bad, but these two right here I can't quite pronounce them. I don't want to butcher them, but these are horrible horrible preservatives. One of them is known as a neurotoxin which you'll learn a lot of the ingredients. Here are endocrine disruptors, hormone disruptors or neurotoxin, and the other one is a very harsh preservative. That can be a major skin irritant, so in this case I would highly recommend not using that, because the ingredients are bad. You'Ll notice in in this video that a lot of the ingredients are neurotoxins or endocrine disruptors. They affect the hormones, especially for the ladies and they are directly linked to fertility issues. Well, I wonder why we have such an issue with infertility in this country, so for uh and worldwide, to be honest, so for shampoo and conditioner, I don't see the ones here. My favorite one that I use at home is a cure. It'S readily available. It'S not that expensive and actually I just looked on Thrive Market. They have it on sale right now for a great price and of course, when you click my link down below you get 30 off your first order and the free gift, so a cure. Shampoo and conditioner is great. When I do have dry scalp, I don't reach for the Sofia Vergara stuff anymore. I use something called Avalon Organics, it's not perfect, but it's very clean compared to this, but I would stay away from these regular ones here because of the ingredients they're, just not good. For you and for your scalp, the dirtiest Secret in personal care products is actually something called fragrances, and if I pick up a secret, there goes Secret. It pH balance for a woman but strong enough for a man. If I pick up almost anything in the personal care aisle, I don't care what it is. You'Re almost always going to see the word fragrance fragrance are or parfum. If you see those two words fragrance or parfum, it's the natural flavors version of the Cosmetics world. The problem is, it's even worse, like natural flavors, it's not regulated, but they can use up to 3 000 ingredients, including chemicals preservatives anything to make the perfume or fragrance, and they won't tell you it's proprietary and a lot of those ingredients are incredibly irritating to your Skin avoid fragrance or perfume. This also has a deodorant. It'S just something you don't want to put on your skin because it has the pegs, the petroleum-based preservatives so I'll put that back there and I wouldn't use any anti um per Sprint or anything like that. That has a spray on there, because what's the first ingredient here holy crud butane, butane, alcohol, to propel it out of the can, but on your pits, a sensitive part of your body hex to the no, even something that people think is premium like this. Here it looks great right if you see the active ingredient here, propylene glycol. Look, you see these ingredients, you don't even know what they mean, but once you learn about propylene glycolas, that's the chemical or the ingredient that makes this smooth and silky. When, on your, when you put on your pits, the problem is it's a known hormone, disruptor and skin irritant when you see it in as little as two percent in the ingredients? Well, when it's the first ingredient here, that means it's probably 50 or more. Under your Pence, known as a skin irritant or hormone disruptor, no, no, no, luckily, there's really good options. Uh, I think of Schmitz is one loom. Is one I'll put a full list of the Bobby approved ones down below? I don't really see one here, but luckily there's a oh here we go. Here'S one this guy Crystal Crystal the regular one, is Bobby approved you're, not going to see any of those nasty ingredients here, but there's a ton of really good ones, I'll put a full list down below stay away from the traditional ones. It might be pH balance for men and women, but you don't want it. I finally see some Bobby approved personal care products boom Bulldog body wash boom. Castile soap is good, but anytime you look at the majority of body. Washes here was that comedian uh, who says body wash got ta wash the body I forgot who it is, but anytime you see a colored one like this, then get in that color from lavender spoiler alert they're, getting it from artificial colors, like blue number one. Why is that? A problem? Artificial colors are almost always derived from tar and petroleum par and petroleum-based colors on your skin in your body when you're eating food products with that? No, no, no so put that back, but even when you get stuff that doesn't have the color like dial here you see the ingredients, they have the pegs, but they also have the sodium lauryl sulfate, the scrubbing agent, that harsh scrubbing agent on your body. No, do you see how this stuff adds up so quickly? Like I said you think food products are bad when you're eating them. Cosmetics are worse all of these irritants, endocrine disruptors and stuff, like that on your skin. No, no! No, but on the flip side you have something like this Bulldog actually use their shaving cream. Look at this. You don't see any of the harsh scrubbing agents. You don't see any pegs, but you do see the word fragrance there fragrance with a star wait. A second Bobby you just said fragrances are bad. They'Re made up of 3 000 mystery ingredients, a lot of chemicals irritants. They ain't got to tell you what they did, but in there I did say that right, but the star means go to their website. What is their fragrance made of natural, essential oils, real essential oils? The premium products will have fragrances, but they're always made with essential oils, no BS mystery ingredients, so this is great. This is great too, just regular, Castile soap. This is just a hundred percent, all natural. You see the ingredients here. Look at this. This is plant-based. This is great um. Dr Bronner's also makes a Castile soap. You can never go wrong with Castile soap um. I like Dr browner's bar. So by the way, are you on team bar soap or Teen Mom body wash I'm bar soap kind of guy. This stuff gets wasted. It goes down your body, Dr Bronner's, bar soap is great and uh. Alafia Alafia makes a good body wash too, but at the store here boom bulldog and any kind of Castile soap is the way to go avoid the other stuff. You don't want that on your body. Why? What'S that guy's name go Gaff Gaffigan, Jim Gaffigan yeah. I see a lot of lotions that people use on a daily basis and scan with the Bobby approved app and now that cold and flu season is around upon us and the weather's getting colder you're going to use more of stuff like this lotion from this company And these contain Public Enemy Number One, a really bad ingredient with a thunder outside dramatic, methyl paraben paraben in that one, and I used to use Cetaphil as a face wash actually the face. Wash. Isn'T that bad? I don't use it anymore, but the lotion is to be avoided because not one paraben methyl paraben, but two parabens propyl paraben, even worse than the other one parabens are one of the worst ingredients you can find in personal care products they're in there as a preservative. Their main job is to prevent bacteria growth in the lotions and potions and Goos, but they are rated really bad because they are high as an endocrine disruptor and they mimic estrogen in the body and fun fact. They find more parabens in the bodies and blood streams of women, because they put more pair of pins in the makeup and the potions and Goos that women use all over the body. And men don't use it quite as much and by the way. If you want to learn more about these ingredients, you can search online, but ewg has a great part of their website called Skin Deep and you can actually search by product or or by ingredient and learn what they mean. It'S very helpful because these ingredients are very foreign to many people, but parabens are to be avoided at all cost, and this has two of them, and this has one you don't want those endocrine disruptors and even something like people think is premium like this here. They'Re not getting green in there with the green tea. If you look at the long long list here, right, there's pegs and everything in here that are to be avoided, but it's artificial, coloring once again derived from tar and petroleum. Usually so I don't see a lotion here, but the one that I use is from waleda waleda makes a great skin lotion. I get it on Thrive Market also so use my link for that. But I'll put at least a list of all the non-toxic body approved lotions and potions and Goos that don't have the artificial coloring and the parabens in the description box down below along with all the other stuff. We talked about today all right, my friends, that is it for just some of the aisles here in the personal care section, but it's a bad news overall, you do really don't want these products going on your skin multiple times a day when they have these hormone Disrupting terrible ingredients uh I'll, do more of these in the future, because there's other aisles too, but grab some of the good ones. I'Ll put a full list down below take advantage of the Thrive Market, offer click my link 30 off your first order and a free gift, but that is it from the lotions potions and Goos. I leave you like. I always do hashtag keep on cooking mad love and peace later

Ken Leahy: Bobby, you should get a job with the FDA. They would probably fire you within a week. Thank you for doing what you do.

BRBallin1: They say money doesn't buy happiness, but every time I buy Bobby approved products I'm always happy

Ashley Bremmer: Maybe you already do but it would be FANTASTIC if have had an Amazon store with all your approved products or on Thrive market so we don't have to look up each individual product, we can just shop all your products at the same time! I appreciate what you do! And I want your pots/pans when they come out! ❤

Cj Howard: My grand parents who lived well into their 90’s used baking soda under their pits and also brushed their teeth with it. Both had all their own teeth when they died. BUT, they also didn’t eat sugary junk. So, there’s that too ‍♀️

Chays Love: I’ve worked in skincare & cosmetics for over a decade & I try soooo hard to teach people all this information

TruthMatters: We are much too trusting in thinking that anything toxic wouldn't be allowed to be sold especially for personal hygiene. In today's world , especially in the U.S. cutting cost and making profit is #1 goal. It's up to each of us to educate ourselves. Thank you for the video in bringing more attention to this important issue.

DRC: I wouldn’t be surprised if Bobby would come up with his own line of soap/shampoo/toothpaste/deodorant in the future

Aarti Bathla: Thanks a lot for educating us, thanks for putting the truth out on the table bobby!! Very very proud of you. You are definitely contributing to a bigger purpose in your life by helping us all

TeeTee: The YUKA app is a game changer. Not only tells you if a product is toxic but gives you recommendations on better products.

Raman Preciado: Me who just simply felt one day to use simple ingredients for the last ten years and rarely use cheap products: *oh this video is neat and concise.*

Janet Seno: Bobby my family and I are running to the store, just to swap all our junk out. Anything we can’t find will be shipped! Thank you Bobby so much for your big impact on our lives.

Cj Howard: I think what we put INTO our bodies makes a huge difference to our hair and scalp. Besides. Hair is not alive. Just the follicle. I’m a 57 year old healthy woman and my hair is just as thick and I only have maybe a dozen grey hairs. People will stop me and ask what products I use on my hair. I tell them, cheap shampoo and conditioner.

The Go Natural Channel: Exactly, then we wonder why so many women deal with hormonal imbalance! Thank you for spreading the word on this!

Dawn Chiaramonte: Perfect timing for this video. I’m starting immunotherapy for cancer and one of the major side effects are skin rashes and such. So I need to get a whole new skin package so I can help avoid as many problems as I can. Thank you Bobby!❤

A Shar: Thank you . It is appalling how these companies get away with using these deadly ingredients ! It's no wonder that so many people spend a large portion of their lives in Doctors offices!!!

Margaret Johnston: Thanks Bobby, I have so many reactions as soon as I use a lotion on my face. I looked at the ingredients of the different ones I have bought. Only 1 never had those crazy ingredients! Grateful you are doing these videos.

toni nagle: I would be so appreciative if you did a skin care video - face wash, moisturizer, eye cream, make up, etc I’d love to know what the trusted brands are for your wife on all things beauty products if your willing to share. Great video! Thanks Bobby

katherine owian: Being allergic to many things I have always ONLY used unscented products. Baby shampoo has been my friend since the 1950s. Baking soda with a drop of hydrogen peroxide makes for an excellent healthy teeth care - good enough for my grandmother so good for me. Use it carefully on skin as well. I sold Avon, Mary Kay, & other lines years ago. One allergic reaction & it had to go. It's always best to stick with clean clear water to wash your face. Additives add to your body's negative issues.

B M: Great video. One thing worth mentioning (which was not explicitly mentioned) is that all synthetic fragrances and perfumes contain phthalates - which is essentially paraban’s twin sister and is, from my research, one of the absolute worst hormone disrupters out there. So ladies and men, if your product say Paraban free but still has fragrance then put it back. There’s no point in taking out the parabans if you don’t take out the phthalates too.

Gwendolyn David: I’m learning to make my own products at home using natural resources, & I’ve learned a lot from viewing your channel!! Absolutely love you guys! So informative! Ty

LoriAnne Lette: Thank you so much Bobby. I have been searching for safer products as I was just diagnosed with advanced Nash last year. I’m fighting not progress for my 2 autistic daughters. Lost 75 pounds this past year and you’ve helped me so much &. this video was like you read my mind.

Madi Elkins: I bought a new “natural” deodorant but it had fragrance listed and not only did it smell like a litter box on but it made me feel AWFUL all day.

M E: Yes Bobby we truly appreciate your reviews and information . Americans have bad health because we are being bombarded with bad products. I developed allergies maybe because my body tries to protect itself from those dangerous products. I once tried to find a lotion and reseached the ingredients. To my surprise some ingredients were banned in Europe. I now use MCT oil for skin and hair. I dont use pharmacy products. I use Avalon organic and some brands that are cleaner.

Shar Sending Love: I really appreciate you and all the legwork you do for us. You're really a life saver making a huge difference. Love your app. I don't shop without it

AO Lelievre: I would also like to point out that most people who believe they have dandruff are most commonly seeing just a dry scalp. That doesn't mean you need an anti-dandruff shampoo, it just means you need something that is going to moisturize/not dry out your scalp

Angela Seldon: I’ve been following you for quite a while now and I have the BobbyApproved app I am so glad that you’re starting to do non-foods thanks to you I’ve learned so much about what I should and shouldn’t putting in my body or on my body thank you for your hard work

DeadlyAngel666: Thank you for telling us about ewg. I went through all my products and had no idea about how bad some of them are. No wonder my skin is always irritated and itchy from something. Time for some new products!

S S: I'm an avid Bath & Body Works and Victoria Secret body care collector. Right now is their semi annual sale 75% off! I know both companies use toxic ingredients that you mentioned but their scents are so irresistible and unique. I agree Dr. Bronner's castile body wash and bar soaps make your skin squeaky clean and natural ingredients. What do you think about Young Living essential oils? I have several and they boast about being natural.

Karon Rodriguez: Keep doing this please this is AMAZING and EVERYTHING! We need more of this because we really don’t know what we’re putting in and on our body’s so happy I found you sharing you with my fam! ❤️

GrannyGrumbles: As a retired hairdresser, it's refreshing to see someone talk about the right things to use. BTW, Dr Bronners can be used as a shampoo as well. You can even use it on your dog as a pet shampoo PROVIDED you use the unscented one. (Certain essential oils are bad for dogs.)

Mary Dooley: I started baking my own soap because commercial soap broke my hands out so bad. I did my research and ended up using goats milk with olive oil, coconut oil and other oils to make my soap. Now my skin is just fine.

Mary Ellen Millbranth: Bobby. Some of the Cetaphil lotions, i.e. the Moisturizing Lotion for dry to Normal Skin has no parabens and no fragrance. In fact, according to the YUKA app, it is rated as excellent. On the other hand, many of the Cetaphil formulations are rated as Bad or poor so I guess you can’t assume a brand is all excellent or all bad. Very confusing. We love your channel. Thanks for all you do.

MnM: Just subscribed now. It’s sad how the market sells things bad for us. The worse the company is, the more promo we see from them.

LV_Shef: I have been using only Desert Essence products for cleansing my hair since 2019 and will NEVER go back to the junk I used before! Desert Essence and Dr. Bronner's products are the only brands that my family uses when it comes to shampoo, body wash, moisturizing, toothpaste, etc. I definitely recommend these brands to anyone who is wanting to stray away from toxic junk.

ETPK: Love ya for making this, Bobby. Clear explanations and options in this storm of personal hygiene products

Little Hummingbird: I just replaced my bar soaps, shampoo and conitioner and will do the same with my body lotions. Thank you Bobby for alerting us!

Etta Place: It’s about time someone addressed this !!!! We need to just get rid of these horrendous products intent on harming us !!!

M E: Yes the situation went worse in few years . Hardly any good products in stores . I buy online for special brands that are Bobby approved. We love you Bobby!

Victoria Grant: Bobby, I have scalp psoriasis and use Derma-E for dry scalp and flakes. They sell it at Ulta. Pretty clean ingredients and great for the scalp. ❤

COLLEEN Gilmartin: Great video!!! As someone who is being treated for cancer, I have to be SO CAREFUL to stay away from any sort of estrogen disrupters...whether the food or chemicals in the house or what I put on my skin! This video was so helpful.

Cj Howard: I make my own deodorant. It’s baking soda, arrowroot powder, coconut oil and a few drops of essential oils. I like lavender and patchouli mixed. Works great. And for my husband, it doesn’t make his glands flare up. He’s pretty much allergic to all store deodorants

Johanna Cox: I've always felt this way too ,and your just confirming my thoughts, I don't understand why the FDA is allowed to use these ingredients when they know what they do to humans, awful. I'm trying to figure out how to change everything to better, cleaner products, vegan, organic etc. I've also now subscribed, thank you for all the great information, it's so overwhelming.

Hope Hall-Sanchez: Thank you for this.. I have estrogen driven breast cancer. I recently found you, just in time.. I am making so many changes in all products I use. I can’t believe how they allow greed for these products that harm us..

It’s Charine: I wanted to add that I was an avid user of the “Crystal” deodorant. I’ve downloaded a trusty app on my phone called “Yuka” and the Crystal deodorant is actually not natural friendly. Nonetheless, everything else that you mentioned you’re hitting it on the nail!

B. K.: Thank you for continuing to bring attention to this. The more we all speak out the more it gets serious attention. Have you done a video about cornstarch/malodextrin in foods causing allergies?

Little Tut: Today, I just bought Dial Spring Water body wash and I was actually looking for something that's not loaded with artificial stuff and like Bobby stated with other products, it's loaded with Sodium Laureth Sulfate and about 4 PEGS ingredients. I'm returning it back to Walmart. I've been using Suave body wash and I know that's no better. I usually research online ingredients, but I was out of body wash and couldn't' really read the ingredients on the Dial product. I just order from Urban Hydration, black owned personal care business that have nothing but all natural ingredients . I ordered a face wash, face cream and spot treatment cream, all based on Aloe Vera.

J. L.B.: Thank you a million times. Everything you do to educate us to stay healthy is so important

Castillo: This explains all my issues! For years I've suffered from constant skin and hair issues. I grew up using most of those brands. I no longer buy them. I've switched to Japanese brands for my hair and only use scented-free products for my skin. Major improvement. It also made me realize that I wasted money on a Dermatologist.

gugu20051: The worst thing is even the ones that say organic or clean. You still have to read the ingredients

Constantina Kirschenman: CerVe products were recommended by my dermatologist. I wish I could afford the Skincuetical. But they are both owned by L' Oreal. So I opted for the 20.00 face cream vs the 160.00 one

Nicole McDonald: Thank you for making this video! It is super helpful. I actually use a lot of these products already so I am excited to see that they are on your recommendation list. I have been able to make a lot of changes with the products I use, but I am still having the trouble with making the switch to cleaner make up. Can you do a video on brands that use safe ingredients?

Leigh Burville: What you should buy and use for body and hair cleansing is good ol' baking soda. I've been using it exclusively for over 10 years and my hair and skin is awesome (and I am a trendy, healthy 80 year old)! I use baking soda for deodorant too . I've saved so much money I've bought season tickets to the Texas A &M games every year. . .

Simmie Davis simmie sings: One tip about Schmidt deodorants. Many women of color have complained about rashes and irritation with this product. It also was not effective for many. There are so many ways to avoid needing antiperspirants unless you have a major problem with perspiration.

LeAnn Short: Bobby thank you so much for this info! I have been making all my my own hygiene and cleaning products for the past 6 months. I use Castile soap as the base for my shampoo and body wash. I make my own face wash using coconut oil, honey, baking soda and Lavender and tea tree essential oils, spray leave in conditioner with coconut milk, rosemary water I made, Rosemary and Bergamot essential oils. I LOVE it and will never go back! I have really long hair too and it works great to get tangles out! My nightly face oil and cream for really dry skin made out of organic Shea butter. I make my own toothpaste and mouthwash. Next I am going to attempt to make lotion and body cream, maybe even homemade candles out of Tallow I render myself. I eat enough of it, may as well purify it to get the beefy smell out and use it on my skin too. Tallow is so good for you inside and out! I did however get some good info about deodorant from you! I have been using Tom’s brand and just went to the bathroom to look at the ingredients and sure enough, propylene Glycol is the first ingredient in it! Haven’t found a very stable make your own deodorant recipe yet lol, so I will be tossing this one and getting a Bobby approved one! Thanks a bunch!

Sunnier Day: Very important information! I love that you literally show us which brands not to buy and reasons why. hopefully manufacturers will see videos like this & change harmful chemicals they use. It’s worth spending a few extra dollars to buy those better brands/products.

MrsS: I’ve been using Dr. Bronner’s pure Castile soap for about three months now and I just got the Avalon conditioner. But I’ve only use that once so far. I was just using a little bit of olive oil, only a little bit, like not even a tablespoon through my hair and it helped a lot.

Monika Pfingstl: I have learned so much on your channel over last few years ! Incredibly educational and awesome what you are doing and how purposeful to make our lives better.

Cassondra Lynch: Thank you so much for making this! It's crazy how little we know and what they get away with. I thought it was widely agreed up though that petroleum like vaseline was safe..

Stephanie Arellano: Bobby, can you give us a list of moisturizers/lotions that are nontoxic and are affordable as well. Please, thank you!

gugu20051: I have looked at this since 2018 when I read up about a girl who got sick and she had tests to determine what's wrong with her. Her dermatologists asked her about her products and after that she put a long list of products that are bad for you.Since then I even make my own body butter. Most shampoos have edta, sls, petroleum, glycerine

nini: I used to buy products based on their smell and how pretty they look. I really needed to watch this video. I'm not sure if I can get stuff that you recommend in my country since im from Europe, but I will try to be more aware

Bb: Bobby I usually love your content but not all chemicals are bad in skin and hair are. Everything is a chemical. Cerave is a great brand and petroleum is used in healthcare often. Both are recommended by dermatologist

Samsonian: I started using Cantu brand for my skin. It's all natural with only three ingredients : 100% shea butter, coconut oil and mango butter. They also have one with coconut oil, shea butter and hemp seed oil and another one with cocoa butter, shea butter and coconut oil. Just three 100% natural ingredients!

M. Ting: I use L'occitane brand shampoo, body wash, body lotion, handcream etc. it's a bit pricey but I really love them. Been using them for a decade. Also use Wella fusion shampoo/conditioner /treatment. They are good too.

Bella L: I'm so glad that Lume is Bobby approved. People are so caught up with synthetic fragrances, they complain about the smell of it but it's the absolute best!! It does what it needs to do and works in Vegas and TX heat. Odor protection is A-1 and I don't struggle anymore using the other popular brands that only work for a few months then stop - if they happen to work at all. If you don't overdo the application, the smell fades away very quickly. I love their body wash for odor control too! Never going back !! Update : They didn't a formula change to get the deodorant to smell better but weakened the efficiency. I get musty after half a day indoors. No longer a fan

FutureBrideofChrist: I know you don’t wear makeup but I’d love to see some Bobby approved beauty products. Thank you for helping us find healthy options!

MaryAnna Kendziera: Hi Bobby, why do multiple dermatologists recommend CeraVe and ONLY CeraVe products (especially the moisturizers and body wash)? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much for your dedication.

Fidel Diaz: Thank God someone teaching this I used tresemme for 4yrs and lost alot of hair and got really bad dandruff did a test this year and used no shampoo .I just used water an dandruff stuff and hair got better thats a horrible one.

In God We Trust: Thanks Bobby. You always keep it 100% real. I do have a comment. What's the least expensive option? Not everyone can spend $18 bucks on lotion or spend that type of money on personal products. Over all. It's sad but true are we just out of luck? Any suggestions for the low income?

Digiwolfmktg: Thank you for this. I have just switched to a natural deodorant and my chronic migraines of 21 years have stopped! Coincidence? Trying to figure it all out now, I’m using some of the products you picked up here as well so I have some switches to make and lots of homework.

Sweet T: You’re an encyclopedia of knowledge Bobby. Thank you for your hard work and making it easy for us.

Martha Chavez: Wow! Thank you for the eye opener with the toxic ingredients in body care! Especially with the estrogen disrupters! Appreciate the discount offering through Thrive!

CW: My dermatologist turned me off towards essential oils all together. She said if she could get rid of one thing it would be this. She said she sees more reactions to essential oils than anything. I do try my best to buy unscented products whenever possible! How do you feel about Native Deodorant sensitive? I love that deodorant as many natural deodorants have baking soda in them and that gives me a horrible rash. I make my own bar soap at home and it’s awesome!

Nomad2993: The flavoring in Hint water is propylene glycol. If that’s a hormone disruptor and skin irritant, it’s not something we should be drinking, but it’s an additive in a lot of foods today. My high school science teacher told us that liquid soap is just bar soap with water added (basically) and so you’re paying more for water and getting less product. I’ve never been a liquid soap person since then.

Nisea mulls: I was told about head and shoulder shampoo a loongg time ago.A friend told me the exact thing you said so I stopped using it.You're right, they are other better alternatives

Sarah Aparicio: I was having issues finding the right shampoo for my 11y/o son because he has sensitive skin so finally i tried baby shampoo on him and it works great for him and he hardly has dandruff now or any allergic reactions to strong shampoos

V: This is why I support the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and subscribed to your channel! It's disgusting that our government allows all these toxins for the sake of profit. Options in urban communities are especially HORRIBLE! Thank you for your work.

ross: Head and shoulder shampoo made my dermathytis get incredibly worse and worst. I never have had this mess on my scalp. Really a terrifying product for my hair. I treew it away. But still I still am fighting again the horrible, greasy dardruff it gave me .

Clean Easy: Hadn’t used garnier in years and to save money I bought a bottle and matching conditioner. In a weeks time, my hair started falling out it literal chunks. Immediately stopped using it. Took about 2 months and my hair is back to being strong. Never again!

Kevin morales: Seeing the prices I say I’ll just stop washing my hair, using deodorant, and washing my face , and no more lotion

Kendre Gab: Thank you for the valuable and eye-opening information. I do have Insulin resistance and PCOS andI'm in my 20s. I've always be told and hear "you need to change your diet, eat clean to reverse these conditions," but no one has ever told me to be mindful of the cosmetics and body products you choose. I didn't know many of these products we know, use, and see on a daily basis were so bad for us( especially for women). I will be scanning all the products with your app tomorrow and throwing out the ones that are not Bobby approved ( which is probably about 80 to 90% of them ‍♀️). I am eating better, started keto a few weeks ago and I'm already feeling better and starting to sleep much better too and longer. Thank you Bobby for educating the lost and blind like me. You're amazing

Nenna: I lotion with cold pressed virgin or extra virgin organic coconut oil. My mom used to make it in PR when I was little. She used to put it on our body, hair and gave us a spoon full every day. I also like to use organic shea butter. Love the channel and videos.

AnDeHy Marx: Great timing on this video. Just finished watching Toxic Beauty and am now being more aware of hair, skin, etc. products due to all of the health complications they possess that their companies don't care about. I highly suggest more people watch that documentary and use your videos to make better product choices. Thank you, Bobby, for helping us all make better choices!!!

Lei P: I want to go shopping with you and my family. LOL Teach me and my husband to shop please! as we get older we realized that our bodies react to so much of this and we did not know what it was. Thanks to you i realized that it was not us getting old on our 30s it was all the products we were using or eating.

Holly Perdue: Those long preservatives you mentioned (MCI/MI) I became highly allergic to them after giving birth to my oldest. I have to carry my own soap with me everywhere and deodorant has been a nightmare. Most fragrances have them too and makeups too and don’t have to list it.

liz: I sometimes think ,what would I do without bobby like the info he shares is amazing ,you tube need more people like him & his team ofcourse, such a nice man .luv you bobbs

Tasha D: I'm full of questions today. I have used the Shea Moisture products and I was under the impression some of them were 100%shea butter which is a Bobby approved item. Is there a reason these were not a part of the approval in the video for shopping in the store? Curious if there are hidden ingredients or if I am reading labels wrong.

Michele Williams: Bobby, you’re a gem! Thank you SO much for doing what you do!

Jaz Star: I'm on Team Bar Soap - no plastic and less liquid weight. Every little bit helps!

V. G. ESQUER: I have been using Head & Shoulders for 30 years. I've tried other brands and I don't like how they leave my hair. I don't have any hormone problems or anything... my hair looks very healthy. I'm 57 and have 3 or 4 white hairs only.

Chelsie Auger: I love watching videos like this! I’ve been wanting to go green and clean lately! These are very informative!! Now I want to throw everything I have out that I saw in this video!

Monique D: I learned about this from a book called "there's lead in your lipstick". It writes about all the toxicities in our everyday products and natural alternatives.

Leen: Thank you for all your coverage. Keep educating us. I have been using your app at the grocery store and OMG practically everything is toxic. I do believe my health has improved. Not so anxious as before. I feel more calm and less emotional. So thanks again. We are what we eat and apply to our bodies

J C: You are just the BEST, Bobby! Thanks for all you are doing to educate those who care about their health. ❤

Susan Sims: Suzanne Somers was talking about shampoo back years ago and how you need to be careful what you use close to your brain. Her and Mary Lou Henner we're ahead of their time

123 321: More of these skincare/haircare videos please!

byFrax: Thanks for the tips! I am from Germany and i have to say that a lot of bad ingredients that you list here are far more regulated in Europe than in North America. However, thank you for mentioning Weleda. Every drug store here sells their products so I am happy that I can now avoid all the bad ingredients they put in regular shampoos and soaps :)

Michelle Holt: People forget about people who have limited income and can’t fork out $5 or more on shampoos and lotions and body washes. My mother is perfect example. She’s 74 years old and can only afford the Suave products. If some of these non-chemical companies really cared, they’d come out with price affordable products for those who are limited income!

Romashka S: Most of Schmidt’s deodorants have Parfum (Natural Fragrance), including Charcoal stick. Schmidt’s website states that the origin for ‘Natural Fragrance’ is various plants, but at the end summarizes that ‘Natural Fragrance’ is ONLY PLANT-BASED. It implies that dozens of synthetically made chemicals could’ve been added to it. It’s only 100% natural ORIGIN fragrance blend, and other chemicals are later added to it. The resulting whole mixture is listed in the ingredients under the umbrella term ‘Natural Fragrance’, which as Bobby says is NOT regulated. The deodorant stick advertises that it has ‘no artificial fragrance’, which would’ve had an artificial chemical origin. The difference lies in the origin, but the chemicals added at the end may be bad in both cases.

Suzanne Frank: There is an app called Think Dirty that allows you to scan products similar to your food app. I threw away piles of products including hundreds of dollars of Aveda products full of PEG after a rare skin lymphoma diagnosis. Thank you, as always for the education
