So in this tutorial i'll be teaching you exactly how to style. Wavy hair, as you can see in this beginning, clip her hair is pretty straight and that's because she had it up in a bun for a few days which really stretched out her waves. So we're going to start with the well and neutral curls line, we're going to go in with the shampoo. What i really love about this shampoo is that it is sulfate free, paraben, free and silicone free, which is completely safe for all curl types notice. How i'm really trying to make sure that the water is nice and warm? You never want to go in with really hot water to cleanse the scalp or really cold water. The reason behind that is because very hot water tends to scorch the cuticle, which is an outer layer of your hair, making it very frizzy and then also going in with very cold water, can seal the cuticle and not allow product to get inside of it. So i'm going in with the shampoo making sure that i'm just getting him right at her scalp, that's very important at your scalp. That'S where a lot of the oils dirt sweat builds up. That'S where everything starts to harbor, and so in order to have very nice, healthy hair and very good hair growth. You really want to make sure that you have a clean foundation and i recommend for anyone with wavy hair. You can absolutely wash your hair two to three times per week, as i start to rinse out the shampoo you'll notice that the product starts to travel from the scalp through the hair shaft towards the ends. So if anyone is thinking well, if i just shampoo my scalp, how am i going to clean the rest of my hair as you start to rinse the product out, it will go ahead and cleanse the rest of your hair. The reason why you never want to initially go in just for the ends is because the ends are the oldest parts of your hair and also the driest parts of your hair, so really start to focus on the scalp and then, as you rinse, everything out. Everything will get nice and clean. Now, i'm going in with the wella neutral, curl conditioner and when applying conditioner you never want to go in at the top. You actually want to do the opposite start at the mids and bottoms. The reason behind that is because, if you go ahead and add conditioner to your scalp, what's going to happen is you're going to clog the follicles causing dandruff itchiness in the long run you can even cause hair loss. So you just want to make sure that that's a nice clean foundation for healthy hair growth, now we're going in with the wet brush. This brush is specifically designed to detangle hair while wet without breaking the hair, without really causing stress to the hair. You can also go in with just your fingers. However, you prefer would be perfectly fine. Now we're going to go in section by section you never want to take the hair as a whole and the reason behind that is because you can end up really missing spots, especially, i find right in the back in this area here a lot of times. It'S very dry right at that scalp and that's because we're not parting the hair so notice how i'm starting right at the ends and working my way up. You always want to start at the ends, because that is the best way to detangle. Now, i'm really making sure that everything is nice and distributed as well so and one of the biggest secrets to making sure you have frizz free hair notice, how i'm adding lots of water to her curls. That'S very important. Water is the main source of hydration, and so, if you're, not adding enough water to your curls to your waves, what ends up happening is that your hair is dehydrated and a lot of times. We think that adding more product helps with that right. Maybe we can mask it with a styling cream or a mask with the gel, but conditioner is the medicine and the styling product is the band-aid. So it's during this part when you're, adding conditioner or a leave-in conditioner that you're really making sure your hair is as hydrated as possible again going in with water, really making sure that a her hair isn't weighed down with the product and b. She has lots of water in her hair. Now we're choosing the part and that's important once you're in the shower. You just try to figure out where your part is the reason behind that is once you step out of the shower. You really don't want to mess with your hair too much, because messing with your hair can cause a lot of frizz do, and so now that i'm done detangling and distributing product. What i'm really looking for is making sure that the conditioner is not sitting on top of the hair anytime. You see a little bit of white on top of the hair, especially for a wavy girl. That definitely means that the product is way too heavy and that you have to rinse some out. I'Ve decided to go in and style her hair with the 72-hour anti-frizz foam by the wella neutral curl line as well notice. How i have her head completely forward and all of the water that you see coming out of her hair is essential. You have to make sure that, when you're styling your waves, your hair is extremely wet, don't be afraid to go ahead and clump everything together. Do not rake anything in and go from the bottom all the way up to the scalp, preferably you would do this in the shower very wet. Now i'm going to go ahead because this foam is a little bit on the lightweight side, really going to make sure that i go in and i go right to that scalp. I turned her head to the side just to make sure that i go right to that scalp. Now, i'm going in with the styling gel again from that same line of the well in nutri curl, putting just a few pumps and right on top of that foam. I'M going in and scrunching everything together, it's very important to flip your head forward. This is because, when you flip your head forward, you're creating a lot more volume, if you're, just standing up straight and going in and scrunching your curl, the hair coming right out of your root is laying flat instead of coming upside down, which allows it to have More volume - and so that's why you want to go ahead and flip your head forward. Now with the microfiber towel, i'm going to go in and take out any extra water. You do not want to use a traditional cotton towel that will frizz up the cuticle, and you really want to make sure that we have as much definition as possible. If you do not have a microfiber towel. A good hack is to use an old cotton t-shirt and you can see immediately. Her waves are starting to revive now we're going to go in and diffuse fully on medium heat, medium speed. With my curlicue. I highly recommend that wavy girls go in and diffuse their hair, if not fully, at least halfway through the reason behind this is because, in order to really accentuate those waves, you want to set it and by setting it that allows for your hair to continue to Stay away before longer, and it really will accentuate your curls now i highly recommend that you do not diffuse on high heat high speed. The reason behind that is because you will make your hair extremely frizzy, even if that means you're in a rush. Also, i have this client with her head back just for comfort. However, when you are at home, you can go ahead and flip your head forward and diffuse that way. So another tip is that, if you're diffusing - and you feel as though your hair starting to unravel or get a little bit, frizzy take a second and add a little bit of hairspray. This is from the inner sense brand, so i sprayed it all over now, i'm going in and i'm hovering on top. The reason why i'm hovering, instead of going in and diffusing traditionally is so that the hair spray dries down a little bit, setting the hair, making it just a little bit crunchy and then i'm going in and i'm going to diffuse fully from there. So do. And this is the final look. Her waves look so hydrated, healthy and perfect. In order to preserve these waves, i would recommend sleeping in a pineapple with a satin pillowcase and to refresh the next day going in with a little bit of conditioner water in a spray bottle and some of the foam that she previously had used in the routine.

suleyma osorio: As a licensed cosmetologist, I will say that no one really teaches these crucial steps in school. I have naturally thin curly hair and have been doing half of the steps you do. With your knowledge in curly hair, I think you should have triple the subscribers. Add that to your channel. This was phenomenal. I seriously can’t wait to do my hair curly again! Thank you so much and I will share your channel. I now have a Dyson that works great but that diffuser looks awesome. I will also add that the reason why we don’t see this is because everyone is using the straightener. So this is definitely a good way to keep it healthy and natural looking. Good job!!

Smalley Family: I am a single father to a six year old girl whose hair has become wavy this year, and my normal routine with her no longer works. I started searching for how I should style wavy hair for her and am so thankful to have found this video! I didn’t even know what a defuser was and have been doing conditioner completely wrong for her. Needless to say I learned a lot in this video, and have some product to buy. Great job and thank you!

Rollita: You are amazing! So many hair stylists (most I've ever gone to, actually) treat wavies as though we have straight hair. They seem to have been taught our hair is wrong instead of how they're treating it.

Karin Papps: I just wish I could find a hairdresser who would take as much time to do such a brilliant job at styling my wavy hair. Stunning outcome and such a professional hair expert.

Carmen: I'm SO glad this popped up on my feed! This is exactly how my hair looks pre-wash and post-styling. I've ALWAYS thought that I had straight hair. Being Asian, without any access to biological family members, it's never been something that I thought of until this year. I remember I've always hated brushing my hair because it went poofy and I wasn't sure what was wrong since it wasn't obviously curly. Even after I discovered I had wavy hair, I kept doubting myself, even when I saw other Wavies on socials since theirs always seemed to be more obviously wavy without any product. Whereas mine could look pretty straight. But seeing the before and after pictures on this really helped me realize that I really DO have wavy hair. Thank you so much!! <3

June W: I’ve only recently started to embrace the fact my hair has waves and the HATE we wavies get for saying we’ve got curlyish hair is unbelievable!!! I have this exact same hair and some of it curls some of it just waves and finding any info out there is quite hard. I’m actually excited to do my hair again!! I’ve learned SO much thank you for putting this out there!!!

Heather Munoz: This was not only extremely informative but sooooo relaxing to watch. It totally felt like it was me in the chair.

Ima Whosoever: This was great. I’ve had straight hair my entire life and have worn it short for 25 years. When Covid hit I decided to grow it out and to my shock it was wavy (almost exactly like the girl in this video). I think it was probably hormone change when I started menopause (1st cousins have wavy hair too). I’ve been at a complete loss. From finding out my curl number to shampoo and conditioner (I’ve never had to use conditioner before), then what product do I put in my hair at what stage and how to refresh it the next day. I’m such a newbie at this. I think I’ll have to find a new salon that has staff that specialize in curly hair. All these straight hair girls around me, no one can help. I’m going to try your method tomorrow and pray for success. Update: Yes! It worked. I used products I have currently and first added the foam then curl cream while I was still standing in the tub. Squeezed it in like you shown, used my microfiber turban to squeeze out the excess and then wrapped my hair up in it. Took it off about 30 minutes later and had those wonderful curl clumps. Then let air dry. Thank you! You’ve got yourself a new subscriber.

Susanna Sutton: This was so incredibly helpful. My hair completely changed after being pregnant from pin straight to super tight waves and no hair stylist has been able to help give me a good routine and recommended products. I will definitely be trying this! Thanks!

joanne: I recently discovered that my hair is wavy but I’ve been experiencing so much frizz vs when it was “straight.” This video is absolutely helpful and I love how you explained why you were doing what you were. Her hair looked amazing at the end! I’m definitely going to incorporate your methods into my hair routine. Thank you!

Perri Lomax: As a wavy girl, I’m so glad I found your channel!!! I loved this tutorial and being able to see the prep and styling from all angles. I learned so much!! Thank-you for sharing this with us!!! ❤️

Bronwyn: So glad this popped up as recommend! Shared with my daughter we both have wavy to curly hair. We've both tried to go on our curly hair journey, but we just can never quite get the results we want. Gonna try some of these things!!!

Goofygubber: I love that you explain the why through each step. Sometimes I never really understand why to do things or why not to so it's really helpful to understand the meaning behind it :)

Danna Goldman: Thank you thank you thank you for this tutorial!!!! My whole life until 38 I had straight hair. After one of my babies it then just got progressively wavier. Hairdressers have not really helped with the waves. Because my hair is in between waves and curls, no one’s advice or product has been perfect. I tried your above method and…blessed shock…my husband, kids, and I just about fell over, jaw dropping difference! I am now 51, it took 12 years to find you :-0. Thank you for this. Please please add a day 2, 3, 4 refresh, how to protect it in sleep, etc etc. Also would love to know all your product suggestions. We in between girls need you! So many women who have hormone changes are in the same boat. You are my new best friend ;-)

Anna Gampert: I’ve been a hairstylist for 18 years, this is such a great video for clients to watch. Often times my curly clients want me straighten it for them, which I understand. I’m definitely going to tell them to check out your channel! Thanks for making this great video!

Chelsey: I AM SO IMPRESSED. This is literally my hair type but I have struggled so much with how to manage my hair so I’ve been cutting my hair short these past few years and now I am trying to grow it out again. I will definitely use these tips! You have been so helpful!

purple9rain: this is unbelievable! You truly ARE an expert in styling/treating/managing curly hair! I cant believe the result and everything you were doing! No salon has ever done this to my curly hair. Amazing!

jackiesauter2: I have the same type of hair as this girl and this video is blowing my mind. I’ve never seen such a good detailed video with a professional who actually KNOWS how to make wavy hair look its best. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!

Julia Maraviglia: Thank you so much Sabrina! This really breaks down a wash day for a wavy girl like me. Other people’s videos are way too complicated I love how you broke it down thank you so much girl

Stephanie R.: I love how gentle this demonstration was too :’) Thank you for not only caring but teaching well about wavy to curly hair types! Natural haircare is just that, with gentle & lovingly natural regimes.

Alice Kenly: i’m mixed and don’t have big curly hair like my sibling does, it would always just be fluffy and frizzy so i constantly ironed it to make it straight till i realized it was just really wavy. now i’m on my lil hair care journey to make my natural hair the best it can be ❤

Casey Crisp: This is the best & most realistic video I've seen! My hair is wavy & thick, and I don't have patience to be finger coiling every little piece or any of that extra stuff. Thank you so much! I'm excited to try these tips out!

Jessica M.: OMG. This is a whole other level of a wavy hair routine. It’s amazing! I will definitely try it on mine! Thank you so much.

Kim Bullett: Um, this video is amazing. So informative yet straight to the point. Not a ton of videos on wavy hair on here, and certainly not many that are actually helpful. This is the best video I’ve seen…..and I’ve binged a lot. Thanks so much!

Veronika Be: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Will try this exact routine next wash day! I thought my hair was straight for all my life but it kept getting more and more frizzy. Now I know I have wavy / curly hair and just treated it wrong the whole time

Camila Eskew: This was amazing and informative As someone who has fine, wavy hair I never knew to do all of these steps! I’ve been embracing my natural wavy hair for awhile but never knew how to make my waves look strong and healthy.. until now !

Blue cat 💙 Måneskin #savetheoceans: Great video! I have "unknowingly" done some of these exact things to my hair to make the curls appear, really nice to get professional tips to add to my routine. I have some sensory issues and I don't like to use a hair dryer, my hair is shorter so it dries fast without, but I'll recommend this video to long haired ladies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

B Elizabeth: thank you so much for this video! i have wavy/curly hair, but always straightened it growing cause i thought it was just frizz. barely starting to embrace my curls, and this video was informative! thank goodness wash day is tomorrow, so excited to try this out on my waves/curls! <33

gina T: I gave up on my wavy hair for MANY years, and now I have hope that my hair CAN look good . Thank for sharing this video.

Marissa Nicoll: I'm so excited to try this! I've found bits and pieces of information from various tutorials that kind encompass what you did here - but not to such a thorough degree and easy to understand instructions on why you do it this way. I could listen to you talk for hours! You sound so sweet and informative. ❤

MissChriss: Thank you for this! I’m a 2C 2B wavy, and I never have a great wash day. My refresh day 2 & 3 are my rockstar times. I’m going to try these things!

Anita Bandysz: This is the first video ever in my life that I have seen that actually gives proper instructions for hair like my own. Thank you for this.

Chayce V: the end results turned out gorgeous! I also have wavy/curly hair and I rarely ever pixie diffuse, I mostly just hover diffuse. pixie diffusing usually creates wonky curls for me, especially at the ends, which I noticed started to happen in this video.

Shelli's Space: 30 some years ago I styled my hair like this, my cousins told me "you don't have naturally curly hair, it's how you styled it to make it wavy!" Also, my hair only stays like this for the day, and the minute I sleep on it, it's frizzy. I sleep with a sulk pillow and even wear my hair up some nights

Empress Kali: So grateful you shared this! 100% of the stylists I’ve visited over the decades ignore my wave/curls so I’ve never learned how to properly care for them. Now I do! Thank you

Daniela Assis • há 87 anos: Nunca usei nenhum produto da Wella porque aqui no Brasil é caríssimo! Mas lógico que usar bons produtos dá muita diferença. O cabelo dela ficou lindo ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Emma B: This is so helpful!! I love that you not only say what you're doing, but also WHY. I've always heard these things about not using very hot water, or using conditioner on the ends rather than right at the scalp, but never the actual reasoning behind it. Your explanations make it both easier to remember what to do (because it involves logical reasoning and not just memorization of instructions), and also makes me understand what I'm doing so I don't feel like I'm just naively performing some kind of superstitious ritual and hoping it works. Thank you!!!

Kaley Senters: You’re a lifesaver! I’ve never known how to properly take care of my hair, I’m gonna try this out on my hair now.

Kayscreativeboutique: I'd been putting my hair up in my Perfect Haircare towel to get some of the water out, THEN using my stylers! I will bring them over to the shower, apply, THEN get the excess water out of my hair! Thanks for a great video!!

Yoyerr: Okay, this was amazing and hopeful! My hair has typically been like her hair at the very beginning with just a slight more waves to it but over these past few years I think my hair is losing its waves or maybe I just don’t know how to care for my hair. But I know my hair is always frizzy and unlike other girls :( also When girls say curly or wavy, I think they think it’s like her curls but I really do have natural wavy hair, they’ve just been more straight lately. Would you say if I keep up a routine like this on a more frequent basis, I could re-tame my waves?!

Vicki H: You are so thoughtful in how you handle her hair. My fine curly hair is SO fussy and getting anyone to treat it with care seems impossible sometimes.

Jacobi Brown: I have to say I just discovered I have wavy hair wondered why it was frizzy my whole life so this is day 3 of figuring this out. This has been the most detailed video I have seen so fair and I did not know about the clumping thing or frizzy (still working on it lol) life saver my hair really loved conditioner ❤

Silverhaired59: I have been trying the CGM for two and a half years as a 2a-2c. Your video really helped remind me of what I quit doing and to go back and try it again. I totally respect the whole Black hair care industry and all the products and techniques that have been developed over the years and thank all of you for the wisdom you so freely share with us Caucasian wavys and curlies who never knew what to do to enhance our textures. I was adding some “ethnic” products to my routine only semi-successfully before finding the CGM. I still struggle to get a look on wash day that I would want to wear in public and end up looking best on day 2 when my curls turn more to waves and the frizz is brushed into my waves. Yes, I do brush! My hair does not tangle. It has never been straightened, permed, dyed, teased, or anything and is silky smooth even in its frizzy waves and spirals. Your tips today reminded me of things I can do to combat frizz and I can’t wait to try and see if I can make it work. Thank you so much for this wavy video!

Sabine Windholz: Thank you so very much for explaining step by step, you helped me a lottttt, my hair now look like hers. Finally I'm so very content and happy to have this wavy hair, but until I saw this video I always had troubles with my hair .... THANK YOU

heysoph9: Jeez I wish I had this years ago. This is exactly what I do with my wavy hair after lots of trial and error. Literally exactly!

Terry Irwin: So glad to have found this video! You gave a great step by step tutorial, and it's not complicated. I am going to do this my next wash day, since now I went to my natural gray, and my hair is very wavy, even curly now. Shocked me, since I always only had a slight wave.

Deaane Beshears: I've been on and off with the curly girl routine for about a year and a half now. One product line does seem a lot simpler. I tried products not for curly/waves, just had a really good protein, and that was just the shampoo. I found my conditioner wasn't hydrating enough, so I switched to f.o.b. products. I loved the results, but was still frizzy. What blows my mind about your video is how much water I need cause fine hair is apparently supposed to stray from too much water, and others say stay away from wet brush, it straightens you out. I find that wet brush is the only thing that gets rid of my tangles with no frustration, both dry and wet. So thank you for clearing the wet brush myth up because it only gets rid of tangles, and it obviously isn't hard to style your waves after. The other thing is thanks for the wella brand drop cause I'm going to try them after f.o.b. leaves target. No guessing with their products, and that is what I need. Simple. Thank you.

Mama Of 2: Gorgeous! If I had the energy and time, I could do this. But I just always wind up in a bun for most of the week. Seriously debating a shower stool so maybe I’d actually do this more often.

Abbyyy 101: I was born with really tight curls but as I got older I just lost them. Whenever I get my hair layered and shorter it’s easier for my curls to come back but I’ve never found an actual routine to make them how they used to be . I have a very similar curl pattern to the girl in the video so that helps a lot

Gray: Every time I go get my fine wavy hair done I leave looking like a frizzy mess (even when I went to a $$$ instagram-famous curl expert), it’s frustrating because I don’t like to straighten my hair. This was lovely.

The Red Cat: Thank you... I am on CGM 7 years and still can learn something new . Basically I do 90% of what you showed. I have 3B curls and just returned home from a hairdresser, with a little balayage and a healthy cut. I prefer to air dry my hair. Actually now that my hair is 80% dry, I feel that I need to add a bit of oil to the ends...and that's it.

z VH: Finally! Been looking for a routine for waves, thanks for the very good explanation, I learned a ton.

bloom: I always put my hair in one of those hair turban towels right out of the shower Thank you for sharing! Maybe I can finally get my hair to look decent now lol

Dorothy Phillips: I'm going to try this. My hair looks exactly like hers when dry/unstyled and when it is wet. Fingers crossed I can get my hair to behave lol.

тнαυмαтυяցу: Thank you I will try this! I have the same wavy hair but I can’t seem to get the waves to hold, when I leave it straight out of the shower it is mixed with straight and waves and a lot of frizz, so I am glad to stumble upon this video!

Rebecca Walters: So happy to see this today, my hair looks like the left and while I have a hard time holding my arms up to do everything you did maybe there is some hope that I can bring back some curl yet.

J A: This is thee first video I've seen that's shown how to wash and dry fine, curly hair without making it frizzy, and I found it so helpful! I was always so jealous of all the people I saw diffusing their thick, curly hair because I haven't been able to do that without looking like Hagrid. I'm definitely going to try the hairspray trick!

Henna: Every time I brush my hair wet with conditioner in, I get SO MUCH hair breakage so I don’t do it anymore. I’m amazed at how her hair doesn’t fall out at all

Stephanie Call: Amazing video! Thank you so much for helping me to understand my hair needs better!!! ❤❤❤

Amanda kay: I never thought I had wavy hair/curly hair but I’ve always kept my hair extremely short (Dixie short) recently I grew it out for the first time in my life & it’s so thick and wavy I can’t even manage it so I just keep it in a bun everyday. I’ve even thought about just chopping it but it’s to my waist now & I chicken out

Morgana: This video is making me feel better about my change of hair texture. My hair change to a 3A curl at puberty, but when I was around 17 I started staying at 2A/2B waves, but I don't really know how to care for it so it's probably more. I thought it was because I'd bleached and died it, but now that I've grown out all the bleach (it's been a few years now), it's still not curling how it used to. Around that time though, I also started taking the contraceptive pill for medical reasons and as my hair changed at puberty, I'm starting to think it may be a hormonal thing and that makes me sad because the pill is essential for my wellbeing but I really want my 3A curls back. Regardless, this teaches me how to care for my waves so I do feel a little better. Would you have any tips for me?

anaillustrations: This has been the most helpful video I've ever watch!! Thank you so much ! ♥

Samantha Guy: Can’t wait to try this! I’d be so interested to see a refresh tutorial!

Candy Rodriguez: 34 yr old woman here who is just now learning how to take care of my wavy hair ☹️. Thank you for this video ♥️

Gray: This is an excellent video! I hope you have the time/inspiration to make more :) really well done

Sarah Jane: i have naturally curly hair and i hate putting tons of products in it. i'd love to see a real wash and go with less product, because its such a process that its just easier for me to straighten it.

Mayina Awa: This is absolutely unbeliavable! Amazing result, I will try these tips on my nex wash day, thank you for sharing it!

Billy Bob: Thank you for treating wavy hair as wavy and not as straight ❤

Meri Aaron Walker: I’ve spent my entire life without this information about how to take care of my wavy curly hair. Thank you thank you thank you thank you❤️❤️❤️

Mary Darby: It’s so relaxing just watching this! I could fall asleep with my head in the shampoo bowl!

Girly Girl: The best tutorial for wavy hair I have seen Thank you very much!

RockTransistor: Amazing results! Thank you for showing us!

Brett Debney: Thanks for the great tutorial! I am pleased to discover that my routine is very close to this. (Unlike my profile picture, my hair is now the length of your customer.) Thanks!

Jory Nichols: I so wish my hair could look like this I’ve tried different conditioners and shampoos and my hair still is only curly in parts and it’s super frizzy. I’ve been to hair salons and none of them have helped my hair. I’m having trouble finding someone that actually knows what they’re doing

Andrea De La Puente: Wow this is beautiful! I will definitely do this next time!

Selinda Carlo: So, my hair naturally has a wave and curl to it. However, over the years, I have had the HARDEST time keeping them actually there! Half the time, half my hair will be far straighter than the rest!! I thought my hair was just losing its touch, because I couldn’t find anything that was helping me… BUT I didn’t know about this! I CANT WAIT to try it out!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Victoria Skornyakova: Thank you for the tutorial! It took me years for figure out a similar routine on my own. And Noe I know how to use the products right in them Only after 2 kids my curls disappeared …. Thinking of getting a perm and start all over again. I had the same type of curls like the girl in the vid. Any suggestion what kind of perm should I get?

Kelly Reinke: This is exactly how my hair dries when I sleep on it wet and it just becomes lifeless during the day. I'm going to try adding in some products and diffusing to see if I can get some wave back!

Emily R.: Looks beautiful! For me, I could only do this for special occasions as I'm too lazy.

Kacey L: I love that you use water as the main dehydrator. And explain why you use your steps. Every step you did I'm like aha, that's causing my frizziness

Catt3xplores: I need to do this I know I got wavy hair but never knew how to get the waves to stand out more (usually if it dries and I don't brush) my hair tangles so easy to.

Wavlance: Tried the sectioning on the conditioner and it helped so much! Thanks for the advice.

Stephanie Cleary: I am a natural redhead in my 40s, and since I was a toddler I had one wavy section in the back of my hair while the rest was straight. When I hit my 20s that section became a tight wave/coil, then in my mid 30s to now the wave started slowly moving towards the front of my hair. I was gettin a relaxer in the back, since the front section wouldn’t even hold any curl. I decided to forgo the relaxer after 20 years and attempt to get the wave to hold in the front while keeping the back from being a frizzy mess. This feels like a good combo of techniques I’ve seen previously for my “complicated” hair and I can’t wait to try it!

Kathleen Brashier: Very, very cool! I'm trying this soon. Question: My hair is very long (down to my hips). Are there any changes you'd make to this process for long hair?

MaeflowerMew: I’ve begun trying to get my hair healthy and to love it in its natural state, and my goal is to have long healthy hair. My hair is curly and has I think 3 different patterns to it. My crown area is a more wavy, my mid and underside is more curly loose 1inch curls , and I have a cross section in the back from one ear to the nape of my neck that’s tighter and more like half inch ringlet curls. I don’t claim to know too much on curl, and it’s been very difficult for me to know exactly how to care for it. My hair is pretty fine, but I have a LOT of it. Like 1/4 of my head is still a 1” ponytail. Your videos have helped me so much in learning how to keep my hair healthy and my curls to be defined and less frizzy and I’m so so thankful I came across your channel. My mom has had pretty straight hair so I’ve not had anyone really to teach me how to work with my curls, and most stylists I’ve come across in salons just don’t seem to know how to work with it either lol. Thank you so much

Erika De Dios: Such a helpful and informative video! I have similar texture to your model. One question: how do you transition from styling upside down to upright? When I’ve tried upside down styling all the hair sticks to the back of my head and doesn’t fall nicely at all.

Classic: Awesome video! Very helpful

Jessie Nelson: What are your thoughts on using the soft twirl mousse versus the boost bounce mousse?

Susie: Thank you for this! I have a daughter with curly hair that I am so uneducated on. I will try this!!

Marta: thank you so much, i have wavy thin hair and this was super useful ✨

Kylee Hansen: Great content, explanations, and demonstration.

Supreme_ Aset777: I had beautiful ringlet curls growing. My mom not knowing how to take care of them and hating hair that might look remotely “ethnic” to her made it her mission to make sure I blow dry & straightened it out as much as possible. My curl pattern is gone. My hair is a dense, dull and has no body or life to it anymore. It’s so damaged

Katherine Elisabeth Brown: Love this so much! Thank you!

PaigetheMoonChild: Do you recommend the anti frizz foam over the mousse for slightly tighter of curls than what this girl has? I usually use mousse and my hair acts fine with it but just want to make sure since I haven't tried this brand x

Fearless & Flawless: I think my 2B hair has been damaged by constant straightening and coloring but trying to get the waves/curls back. This has helped but could you also do a video on more affordable "drugstore" products as most my beauty stores around don't carry these products

ks king: You did a great job! She has beautiful hair!

Jolynn Souden: So wavy hairy gets frizzy a lot because it needs more moisture? What products do you recommend to provide for keeping hair moisturized but not weighed down?

Danielle Hernandez: Omg this was so helpful! Thank you so much!

Amber Douglas: This was great, thank you. Question… after youre done diffusing do you not need to squish the crunch out or is the “crunch” from the products dried while you diffuse?

Stephanie: This was amazing for my wavy hair, dare I say its curly now. Thanks for the tips
