Clarifying Shampoo:

1-2 Pumps of Shampoo or as much as you usually use

1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

2-2.5 Teaspoons of Honey

--Mix all ingredients until shampoo is free of clumps and a thicker consistency. Jump in the shower, wash with the mixture focusing on the crown of your head, hairline and nape of the neck. Leave on for a few minutes and then rinse off completely. Follow up with a moisturizing conditioner.

Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse:

2 Part Water

1 Part Apple Cider Vinegar

-- Mix the two ingredients and pour onto to the top of your head, focusing only on your scalp. Massage the mixture into your scalp for a minute or two and leave on for at least five minutes. Rinse off completely. If you don't mind the smell of the vinegar than you can just use a little conditioner as the last step or shampoo hair with the smallest amount of shampoo and follow with a small amount of conditioner.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today's video is going to be a haircare DIY. I am very big on just making concoctions at home three years ago. I really wanted to clarify my hair and deep cleanse it because it just looked. It was looking really dull and just like the ends were frazzled, and I knew it wasn't like. I had a bunch of split ends because I had just gotten a haircut not too long prior to that, so it was just. My hair was just it was just full build-up and I knew I wanted to do something to strip away all the build-up, but without stripping away any color, or highlights that I had in my hair. So I went online and I started to search because I know that you can buy a clarifying shampoo at the store, but at that time it was just like a spur-of-the-moment thing was late at night I was bored and I just wanted to do something to my Hair so I went online and googled and I came across a concoction or recipe and it kind of tweaked it a little bit, and so I decided to do a mixture of my regular, shampoo, baking, soda and honey. You can find those two ingredients in your cupboard. Most people have them and they're really accessible, they're, always there, and if you want to go out and find them baking. Soda is like $ 1 to $ 2 and then honey can be a little more expensive like six seven bucks. But you get those two ingredients and then the shampoo that you really have and then you can continuously do this recipe so for the concoction or the recipe you're going to want to get a bowl or a cup pour as much shampoo as you want in the Cup and then you're gon na take any spoon, preferably one, preferably a teaspoon size, spoon from the cupboard and you're going to scoop. One spoonful of baking soda into the shampoo and then you're going to want to take the honey and you're going to want to do. Two spoonfuls of the honey, maybe even two and a half - you want to have double the amount of honey, 2 baking soda, because the baking soda really breaks down the build-up and strips it away and the honey is acts as a moisturizing ingredient in the concoction. Take that mixture and just mix it up and you'll notice that the shampoo will become more like a pace. It will be a thicker consistency. It'Ll still be chef who, like but it'll, just be a little bit thicker. You want to take that concoction and jump in the shower, make sure your hair is really wet. You wanted to be really wet so that the shampoo really works into your hair. You really want to make sure that you get all of the shampoo concoction on your hairline and the nape of your neck and on your the crown of your head, and you just want to really work it into your scalp and into the top of your hair And just with your hands, push it down to your ends and your ends have a lot of built up, but I feel like the crown of your hair has the most, but you want to work it into your whole head then leave that on for about two To five minutes, you're going to want to leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse it really well, when you rinse this off you're, going to notice that your hair feels really really clean like squeaky clean. So you want to follow this up with a nice conditioner. I use my or abaga less conditioner. I used to use this L'Oreal, don't know the exact name right now. I know it's L'Oreal, very alike, conditioning treatment. It'S like you know when you get an at-home like box dye, and it comes with like that little tube of conditioner and it's really hydrating and I've always thought like. Whenever I was younger, my sisters would dye their hair or my once stood. I always snuck and put that conditioner in my hair, because it always felt so nice and silky and stuff I'll link it down below I'll, find you on Sally, because I know Sally beauty. Supply stores sell that stuff, so I'll link it down below. If you guys want to try it out really good so yeah, you want to follow it up with a nice rich, moisturizing, conditioner and rinse it off, and your hair should feel really clean. What I like to do, which is my step to DIY concoction, is, after I wash my hair with that clarifying deep cleansing mixture I like to follow it up with a apple, cider, vinegar concoction, which really helps with my dry scalp. I suffer from a horribly dry scalp and I scratch it and then I end up getting scabs and I end up messing up my scalp. So what I like to do is I like to clarify with the apple cider vinegar, because it does hydrate and apple cider. Vinegar is a antifungal ingredient, so our scalps do build up fungus. So if you notice that you have lots of patches of like dry skin or your skin is itchy or your scalp is itchy and stuff, and just very raw and uncomfortable, then this might you might benefit from this apple, cider, vinegar, mixture. It'S like a cleanse for your hair. You can do a half a cup to a cup of this mixture. I usually do about a half a cup, because a full cup I feel, is too much, but you want to do two parts: water to one part: apple, cider, vinegar, so I'll fill it up, two thirds of the way of the halfway point of the cup and Then one third of apple, cider, vinegar, mix that up and then just dump it on your head and then really work in a massage it into your scalp. This is something you just want to keep on your scalp. It can run down to your ends, but this is mainly for the scalp, so really massage it into your scalp. Make sure that you really get it in there working into the scalp and then leave it in for at least five minutes, because you really want the apple cider vinegar to work on your scalp hydrate. It and kind of remove any scalp fungus that you might have, or any build-up that you might have. Then, after five minutes just rinse it off, you will notice a slight apple, cider, vinegar scent. So what I do is I go back in with a tiny, tiny amount of shampoo and just go over the top of my hair, with the shampoo and just massage it a little bit and then rinse it off, and that should do away with the scent of The apple cider vinegar and then follow that up with a little bit of conditioner, your hair will be conditioned with the apple cider vinegar. But I like to follow up with a little bit of my or bagel buss conditioner, because I love the scent and I would prefer my hair to smell like that over a little bit of apple cider, vinegar. So those are my two DIYs. I hope you guys try them. I swear by these two DIYs every single time I wash my hair. I have to do the apple cider, vinegar, cleanse. It really helps with my scalp. My scalp is so dry and itchy and raw from scratching it. I don't use that apple cider, vinegar, cleanse and then the clarifying shampoo. If I notice my hair is feeling like really how do I explain it? It'S really too weighed down, it looks dull and it the ends are just like really fried and nasty and dry. I know that it's time for a clarifying shampoo, so I just did it and you can see my hair. I mean my hair is a little crazy right now because I was outside and the humidity and the rain that's been going on in Houston is just like crazy, so it messes with your hair, but I my hair feels so soft and silky, and just I love The way my hair feels after I wash my hair with the clarifying shampoo, and I do that outside of vinegar rinse. I just love it, and I have been doing the clarifying shampoo for about three years now over three years and then the apple cider, vinegar, rinse. I'Ve been doing for maybe a few months, oh yeah. I also wanted to note that ever since I started doing the clarifying shampoo, I've noticed such a huge difference in my hair. It'S healthier! It'S stronger! It'S not brittle! It'S just soft and I just love it. I just I fell in love with my hair all over again after I started doing that, clarifying shampoo it just strips away any buildup of product that is laying on your hair from all the blow-drying, all the flat iron and curling irons. You know we use a lot of product. I use at least like three four or five products in my hair. Whenever I do it - and it's just like it's crazy, how much crap you're putting on your hair - and it's just like you - think, you're washing it with shampoo, but it's not being completely washed, because you camp over no shampoo can only do so much it cleans off. The surface, but all that stuff is like caked on your hair and it's just sitting there waiting for you to strip it all the way so yeah, that's everything guys. I hope you guys enjoyed the video if you did make sure to give me a thumbs up.
