Maria Nila is a new brand to me, discovered like so many things through Latest in Beauty. I managed to grab a luminous colour shampoo and conditioner in my last Latest in Beauty box before they all went (which didn't take long!) and a couple of you were interested in what I thought about them, so here you are!

I've used these exclusively until they ran out so I could give you the most well rounded and informed review possible, so sorry if you've been eagerly awaiting my thoughts!

Hi everyone, I hope, you're all really well welcome, or indeed welcome back to the channel. If you are me, don't forget to hit subscribe, the kids you'll get notified of new content as and when it gets uploaded, which at the moment is every Thursday and Sunday. On today's video, I am doing a review which has been requested. So thank you to those of you that requested this, and I know it may seem like it's taking me a little while to film this review, but there's a really good reason for that. What I am reviewing today is this shampoo and conditioner from Maria Nina nyla. I'M still not 100 % sure how to pronounce this. I got this set from my last latest and easy box. I think it was and they sold out on latest in beauty so quickly. I know quite a few of you were really gutted about the fact that you couldn't get hold of it. So because of that, I think you wanted to hear a review from me just so that I could let you know whether you guys felt like you've missed out or not well before we get into any of my thoughts or anything like that. Let'S just quickly pop onto the Maria nila website, and we can read a little bit more about this shampoo and conditioner and learn about what it's designed to do. I would have shown you the home page, but there's a video that runs on a loop on the home page and I wasn't quite sure how that would interfere with the sound at all during this recording, so go check it out. If you haven't looked at the website before, because they are very very much into their loving and looking after animals, which is lovely, so I've obviously got from this range - the luminous color shampoo and the luminous color conditioner. So let's have a look at the shampoos first. So it's illuminating shampoo for colored hair that rebuilds and strengthens the hair structure free from sulfates and parabens. Pomegranate, extract and color guard complex, protect the hair and reduce the loss of color associated with washing heat styling, easy raise and free radicals, it's 350 mils, and that will cost you 23 euros and in terms of the conditioner, it's a detangling dinner again so colored hair. That softens moisturize and fights static, electricity, pomegranate extract and color guard context, protect the hair and reduce the loss of color associated with washing heat styling UV rays and free radicals just the same as the shampoo. For some reason you do get less product here. For the same price, so it's the 23 euros but you're getting 300 mil instead of the 350. So obviously this shampoo and conditioner is designed for people with coloured hair. I do indeed color my hair. Unfortunately, the Grays are taking over now and honestly, it's just thoroughly depressing. My hairdresser thinks it's absolutely hilarious because she's like you're not going that grain, it's like, I am I've been going gray since I was 25 years old and yeah. It may just be a peppering of gray hair to you, but to me it's a personal insult, so I'm always interested in protecting the color. That'S on my hair. So if you want to make sure it lasts as long as possible, even though I only fairly recently colored this and I'm already seeing the grades fighting back, just like a losing battle honestly. So when I see new, shampoo and conditioner to try particular from a brand I've never heard of before and when it's full sized, I just can't help myself. So I picked these up the latest in DC, as I mentioned, and I have literally use them to the point that there's nothing left and that's why I said it was a good reason that I left doing is review for a little while because I could have Reviewed them after the first couple of use of acetone, but I wanted to really use them. I wanted to use them exclusively until they ran out, and I also wanted to color my hair, so I could formulate some kind of really good, well-rounded opinion for you guys. Here'S the long and the short of it. The short is, I absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner, so I'm so sorry for those. If you don't really want to get it and didn't manage to, but yes, you did miss out in my opinion, I wasn't sure about it at first, it's really nice packaging. I think it doesn't has positioned itself a slightly higher price point than maybe a top and drugstore shampoo and conditioner, but, like I said, I think, the packaging it certainly makes it look like it's worth the money in terms of the product itself. For some reason, there's only have fifty mil difference between these two, which I still don't really understand. I think they may as well have just made both of them through engine 50 mil and have done with it really whether the condition as a bit more expensive to produce. I'M not sure. I think that would have made a bit more sense because generally it's the other way around, you get the more products in the conditioner and slightly lessen shampoos, because I think people generally use more conditioner than they do shampoo. At least I do anyway. I like to kind of slather it on really sickly in terms of the actual champagne, it's quite a big shampoo and it foams really nicely as well. So you really don't need very much at all in terms of the sense it's such a hard scent to describe I've, not really smelled anything like this before it's got a really nice kind of fresh fruity, very sort of smell. It'S a really pleasant smell. It'S it's! Not too in-your-face it's just kind of nice and it's almost like a soft powdery sort of berry scent with a bit of sweetness in there too. I'M not sure if I'm making any sense right now, but that's that's how it smells to me. It'S quite a pretty pink shampoo with a bit of air in essence to it, so I kind of feel like it looks like most other shampoos. In that sense, in terms of how it performs like I said, it does foam up and it creates a really thick kind of rich lava, which really feels quite moisturizing as well. So it's a lovely champagne to use in terms of it. Looking after my colored hair from that point of view, I did call my hair. It was probably a couple of weeks ago now and I can't say I've noticed a huge difference in terms of its kind of doing anything for my hair, but in all honesty in any kind of shampoo and conditioner I've used for colored hair. I haven't really noticed that the kids within the blink of an eye graves of starting to grow back anyway, and I think the color that I actually use on my hair from each salon is a really good color. It does kind of just hang on in there and I don't tend to get any fading with it anyway, so I can't really profess too much in terms of it looking after colored hair, if that's what you were primarily looking to get this for, but in terms Of it being a lovely shampoo to use, it definitely was really luxurious, feeling really nicely scented. It just feels like it's really moisturizing and really conditioning your hair, even though it's actually just a shampoo so moving on to the conditioner. Now I am so fussy when it comes to conditioner with shampoo. I kind of will pick up pretty much anything provided it doesn't make my hair too dried out and squeaky, and you know sometimes you can get something but kind of strip your hair, and it feels like it's not doing much good for your hair that some people Do that, but when it comes to conditioner, I'm so fussy, I generally go for ones that are very thick, very moisturizing, because I have quite dry, naturally curly, hair and lifter. When I first squeezed it out again, it's got that kind of pinky kind of serious. I just saw oh my god. This is going to last me like a week. I'M going to fly through this because it seems like quite a thin texture. It'S not very thick at all, but oh was I wrong with this a pleasant surprise. You really don't need very much, even though it's got this kind of weird spin texture to it and I'm not used to not using much conditioner like I said, usually I'm just slathering it on now, whether it's because there are some super sexy amazing ingredients in here. I'M not sure, but when you print it on my hair, just instantly just goes ah, and only does it feel really soft and detangled. It just goes really slippery and it's a dream to brush through, because I can only brush my hair and it's wet, which I know you're not really supposed to do. Tickly, if you have curly hair, but it is what worked for me about how I have to brush my hair, so the brush just goes through it, so easy and my hair has got a really good amount of flip to it. I'Ve heard people mention this about. Oh, it gives the hair a good amount of slip. I don't really understand what they mean. Well, I think I do now because that is exactly how my hair feels it feels slippery and just instantly amazing. Like I said, the shampoo isn't one of those ones where it feels like it's stripping and taking away all of the lovely moisture. That'S in your hair, but it obviously feels like you've just washed your hair with shampoo I've never been able to get away with just washing my hair with shampoo, and when I put a little bit of this conditioner on afterwards, it just turns my hair. From being this kind of fairly knotty and tangled mess into some kind of underneath like for any smooth silky dreams, and that's what, when I'm washing it in terms of when I'm drying it and how it feels afterwards, my hair feels super light. It. It just feels amazing. My hair feels incredibly soft. I just absolutely love it. I'M seriously going to miss this and I'm going to have to look and investing in some at some point: the kids. I really can't imagine not using it now and I'd like to use it quite a long time just to see if it does happen to prolong the color in my hair at all, because that's the only bit, i'm not sure about at the moment when, in terms Of platforms is actually a shampoo and conditioner and what it's done for my hair - I absolutely love it. So thank you so much to later for beauty for introducing me to another brand, but I've not heard it before, but it's a brand that's got me excited. I want to try other things and I really enjoy using this. So if any of that sounds like it's appealing to you, I would definitely check it out. I really love this parent from the fact that they're 100 % vegan. I know that something that's very important to a lot of you and when you go on the website there is this kind of rolling advert thing on the homepage, where it's people talking about their animals and they order to take it really seriously in terms of not Harming any animals at all, so that was really nice to see, and I think their website just looks really slick and professional, and just really inviting it's one of these companies that I really don't know very much about that from what I found out about them, and Certainly, for the first impressions point of view, they look really really good, so I'm looking forward to trying some more set of beds in the future, so that's it for today's video. I really hope that you enjoyed it. It'S a bit strange doing a family video review for shampoo and conditioner. I don't think I've done that before, but usually I tend to match them either in my empties videos or in my best and worst of beauty, but you guys requested this specific review. So I really hope that you enjoyed it. If you did, I would really appreciate a thumbs up down below, just that. I know that you did enjoy it and, like I said, if you are new to the channel and fancy subscribing, I will pop a button. Just here for you to click, and it would be absolutely wonderful to have you my channel is slowly but surely growing, and it's absolutely lovely to have you all here with me. I'Ll also pop a link to my last video up here to go check that one out, if you haven't done already anyway, I hope you guys are all really well and I will see you again soon. Bye

Hazellsprout: Funnily enough the shampoo and conditioner reappeared in the selection a few weeks ago so now I've got it as well. Glad to see it's a good hair product, just waiting for my current shampoo to run out before I start using this!

Holly: your hair looks awesome today! I've been experimenting with only using a leave-in conditioner (no normal shampoo and conditioner) and my hair feels so much better! I've been wanting to shave it all off recently, curly hair is a nightmare!

Mandy Mitchell: Hi Kate, what a fab video, right up my street! I like to buy beauty products that have no nasties & are cruelty free & after reading the Maria Nila website I am hooked! Whoop whoop for Leaping Bunny companies in my opinion. I think it's good to swap & change shampoos & conditioners because they really do pep up your hair & yours looks so nourished & healthy! I'm going to the hairdressers on Saturday for a cut & colour & a chat about my fast growing new hair (hooray) & I really like the look of the colour refresh masques on the Maria Nila website so have put them in my beauty wish note book. Thanks so much for this video. I do hope you are enjoying your week off with hubby & managing to relax & have some "date days" Have a great time xxx

Sandra Ferguson: OMG!!...I have used a lot of expensive shampoos and conditioners for my colored hair. I received both as a gift and I absolutely love it. My hair has never looked so healthy and shiny. I always have highlights in my hair and the color stays longer. BTW all of past shampoos and conditioners I have purchased have been from my hair stylist--nothing compares to Luminous shampoo and conditioner. Love Luminous!!!

Silvery Moon: Love the sound of this brand, I'll be checking it out for sure! Thanks Kate x
