Foreign foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign, hey guys, uh, welcome back to another update on my hair. Ever since I used the product mild, which I've been pronouncing this product wrong, the name of this product wrong, I think it was nearly but after watching a few videos, I realized other people pronounced it mild. So today is Wednesday and it's finally, after the the long holiday, because when this happened, when the mild product destroyed my hair horrible, it happened this Saturday, which was the 24th of December 2022 um. The next day was Christmas. The other day was boxing day. They celebrate Christmas on the Monday instead of the Sunday and then the Tuesday was our holiday as well so today's Wednesday. So, finally, I can go to a professional hairstylist to do a consultation, so they can tell me um what can be done at this point with the condition of my hair, I am hoping that my hair can be fixed, but I know deep down. It cannot be fixed, but I'm trying to stay positive and hoping for the best, because it is so bad like it's extraordinary, extremely bad, and let me just show you guys. I'Ve been wearing this scarf on my head ever since it had happened, because I cannot bear to look at my long, healthy, thick hair that I have been working on for so long to be, in the condition that it was healthy, long, strong and thick, and a Couple seconds one product destroyed, my hair, like I just I'm so confused that a product can do such dramatic damage to someone's hair in just a few seconds. I I don't understand like I just I'm just so lost hey guys, so I am at the salon and the she already started detangling my hair. The only reason why I am just recording it was because she did not wanted me to record some people. Just do not allow the recording in their place of business, which I respect that so um I didn't get that I didn't get to record from the beginning. But after we were there um, I'm explaining things to her and she gave me the go ahead. To start recording, so I could share this process with you guys at first when I went there and she saw the condition of my hair. She didn't want to touch it because I mean like nobody wants to be responsible right, so she did some research and she researched the product and everything like that. She examined my hair and she was like. I cannot help you. Your hair is like very, very, very tangle and it's gon na be like it's gon na take hours and it may not you're gon na like experience a lot of breakage and nobody really wants to be responsible for your hair falling out. Basically. So when I was gon na leave and she said to me - okay, let me just try one thing and then, if it work, I will continue and see how it goes. I felt really grateful so she did and you know we were there talking and she was doing her thing and I was just explaining to her what happened and next thing. You know she's detangling and detangling, and she was really like distracting me from all the breakage and the shedding that was going on. So I was like, as you guys can see. I was like in depth in the conversation we were talking about here here care and you guys know, that's my passion, so it was very like a good conversation and it really really worked by distracting me to not noticing all the breakage. She literally saw the disappointment on my face when she told me she can't help me and I feel that she felt sorry for me, so she was like okay. Let me just try one thing as I sit here and edit this video for you guys, I'm looking at the quality of my hair and my hair is extremely damaged. It is Friday, it looks awful, it looks like it hasn't been moisturized for decade, and the quality is just so bad like really bad, and I'm gon na have to work really really really hard on my hair to restore the strength, the health and the quality of My hair, so this is going to take me a while, which she already told me that as well, that the my hair is damaged really bad and even if she get it to be detangled, it's gon na be thin. It'S gon na be weak. It'S going to be damaged, so I have to continue to cut treat my hair on a regular basis until it gets back to where I am comfortable with the health and thickness of my hair. So basically, this video is all about the detangling process of my knotted hair, so guys just sit back and enjoy oh foreign. Thank you, foreign. Thank you. Thank you, foreign foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign foreign. So finally, after hours of standing and detangling, my hair, I think she's finally finished and I felt like really good, not feeling that big ball of knotted here in my head. I was pretty excited that I wasn't going to go bald that I'm gon na actually save some hair. Like you guys see me laughing, I couldn't believe even though the quality is so bad and it's so thin, it felt so light and so thin, but I was still so grateful and so happy that I'm not going to go bald. I can actually save some of my hair, so she told me she's, gon na have to cut it because it's stringy, which I am totally fine with that, because I rather have like a healthy thicker here. It was very sad to see all my hair on the floor and I don't know I just don't know how to explain the feeling, but this was actually really sad and I just scooped them up. I told her. I want my hair to take home with me. So I just take them up and I literally still have them after two months. I literally still have the hair now she's gon na wash and treat my hair. So after fully detangled now it's time to cleanse and shoot she's actually gon na do three different things to my hair. I think it was three to try to restore it as much as possible because it's extremely damaged we were talking and laughing, because I felt so grateful that I still have hair left on my head, even though it was damaged, but I'm like. Okay, I'm gon na work really really hard on it already conditioned my mind. I already understand the assignment she talked to me. She gave me tips and stuff like that, so foreign. Thank you, foreign foreign foreign. Thank you, foreign. Thank you. Thank you. Foreign foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign, thank you, foreign foreign foreign, as you guys can see, the quality is not perfect, it still look dry, it still look damaged, it still look trashy, but she did her best. I am super super grateful now. It'S my turn to go on this nude Journey, this new hair care Journey. Starting from beginning, I have to start over my hair care Journey all over, and I just want you guys to come along with me. I'M gon na mostly do DIYs to grow my hair back because I don't really trust these all natural, organic Hair Care lines anymore, and I promised myself that I want to try my very best. So this does not happen to me again so I'll be making most of my products at home, and I will definitely definitely share with you guys each type of the way. So anybody wants to come on this here Journey with me. Um, please feel free to please subscribe, so we can go on this journey together to get healthy, thick and long hair relax here. So I told her to put it in a ponytail, because I you know I just didn't want to deal with it either. So I told her to put it into a ponytail. She did. I have a short Little ponytail, but that's fine. I still have you on my head and I'm super grateful. Thank God I prayed to God that I don't have to go bald and he makes sure that I am not bald. So I am grateful. Thank you, Lord thank you, Jesus and thank you all for your tips and thank you for your your concern and your checking in. I got some messages on Instagram, even though I haven't got a chance to reply to you. Guys'S messages. Trust me. I super super grateful. So Guys these are, these are the hair that she cut. So I'm just picking this up as well to take on with me. I think I want to store them until I let go of them foreign. So this is the final final result, which is the final length, the final quality. The final everything. Thank you all for your generous support throughout this entire Journey. Please subscribe to my channel, hey guys um, so I am back home from the salon and, as you guys can see, I got a little Clips um and, as you guys could see, The Stylist tried her very best to save as much as of my hair that She could I have experienced a lot of breakage um, with the result of that she had to cut here so in order for because, if she didn't do that, it would have been like very stringy and very very thin. It'S still very thin, but at least it looks a little better, so she had to cut. I think it looks like about five five six inches of my hair. I am like I feel like I like if she hadn't like or when I, when I went there, she was like um, there's no saving this hair. There is no saving it. This I've never seen anything like this before and she said. Let me just try one thing and if it worked, then I will try my very best to save as much of your hair as possible, so she went and get a product and she got different uh style Combs and she gently like really really gentle um. Try to detangle my hair and it took her a few hours a few hours and finally, like I started like if you guys watching the video you guys see where I was laughing, because she was telling me stop to distract me. So I wouldn't feel as depressed about my hair, so I wouldn't pay attention to the breakage and the thinness and the Damage that the mile product have done to my hair. So she was giving me jokes. She was like just trying to distract me because she know like when she's she she's like she's, like oh, my God, you are attached to your hair, like you literally obsessed with your hair. Yes, I am obsessed with my hair so but anyways she did. She treats my hair, she did. She did like three different things to try to restore it as much as possible, and I really really, even though I lost so much hair, I really really really think she did an amazing job. Judging from the condition my hair was in and the state, I really thought I was gon na have to trim my head, my on my hair and go like look like like a Monk. This is my language. I really thought I was gon na. Look like a monk, so I am very, very, very, very grateful. Of course I'm hurt. I put my hair that I'm lost. My hair is so damaged, like extremely damaged, and she said that it's going to take me a while to restore my hair back to its original state. So I just have to continue to trim so trim, treat and try to care for my ears best as possible until my hair restore or get I get at least like maybe close to what it was so um. Basically, I tell myself that it will take me at least a year to restore my hair back to its original state for the thickness, the health, I'm not even too worried about the length as much as the health and the thickness. To be honest with you, because the length will come, but it was so hurt, it was so much hurt to see how much hair that I have lost, but anyway, guys this is this. Is you after she treats it and tried to restore it? Um she cut and she blow dried. My hair only blow dry, and this is the hair, like you guys know how thick my hair is, and this is what left - and this is what it looks like. I have like a necklace when you go into one. I have to start over my hair care. I have to start all over so anyway guys. I will keep you guys on the Journey of restoring my hair again of its original held Fitness and length. So if you're not yet subscribed to my Channel, please subscribe to my channel, I will post all the things that I will be doing to restore my hair to its original Farm. If you guys would like to come on this journey with me, please subscribe I'm just so sad. You know like I'm just so sad, because it's not fair but anyway guys. Please subscribe to my channel and let's go on this journey together. So um I saved the hair. I know that's all like hurt and obsessed. I am I am at the moment, so I saved the hair. So I have this big ball over here right here. This is from detangling. This is what she took out from detangle in it. Trying to you guys, see that God like this is all the breakage from the tongue roll and then now this is from what she cut. So it's all like in a ball like, like I just scoop them up and trying to take them with me. But yes guys, I know and then what's left of my perfectly healthy, thick long hair, any of you that are wondering what product am I talking about. Exactly this is the product, it is the Rosemary mint straightening shampoo, infused with Biotin and encourages growth. A lot of people is also saying this line is a natural hairline right, but it has taken no way or form on this bottle that it's supposed to be used in natural hair, okay, no way art form. I read the label over and over again to make sure I'm missing anything. It did not state the type here and I can't assume everything should be on the label, so this is, and you want to know the funny thing guys. I remember when I bought this. I bought it at the CVS Pharmacy. I bought the entire line. Yes, I did. I bought the entire line. I also bought the gold oil. What my daughter throw it on the floor and break it. So, that's why I don't have it and all of them are full because I don't use it. I haven't used these yet use the shampoo and condition you guys see the condition. This is just crazy.

In this episode of...: Also babe, with due care, please try to not be obsessively attached to anything in life . Everything is temporary. Life takes us through one phase to the next, with new objects, new possessions and new people at different points. The only thing that remains with you throughout is you, and even that is lost at death. Your beautiful hair is the object of your attachment . Please let the damaged strands go. Do not hold on to them for they no longer serve no purpose besides distorting your mind and emotions which then plunges you into deep saddens. Sending you

Samantha: This was protein overload. It can happen with relaxed or natural hair. You were divinely guided to someone who understands hair care not just styling. She did a phenomenal job. Simplify your hair care routine. Go back to this woman on a regular consistent basis. You should be fine. So happy it ended well.

goldmouth100: WHO EVER THIS STYLIST IS.. IS DUE A SHOT OUT... SHE BROUGHT YOUR HAIR BACK TO LIFE... PLEASE POST HER BUSINESS FOR OTHERS.. SHE DID A GREAT JOB♡♡

Lizzmcbeth: I had a bleach accident several months ago that melted like 40% of my hair off and absolutely destroyed it after finally having it healthy and doing a big chop etc. I was absolutely devastated because I’ve never experienced something like that in my life. The initial shock is crazy and you don’t have to be obsessed with your hair or be vanity driven to be upset by an unexpected situation. To those in the comments filled with ego and ridicule using your ideologies and even the name of God under the guise of “care” to say she is obsessed with her hair or vanity driven… how she feels is 1000% fair because any unexpected inconvenience at any time would make anyone feel upset!!!!! I hope all is well with you and with consistency and the right care your hair will be great. Blessings

Jacquelyn Johnson: I’ve been battling Cancer for 8 years and all I want is to be made whole again. I understand the pain but for a woman who has consistently loss her hair due to chemotherapy I really value you my life and family over my hair. Obsess over Jesus and not your hair. Hair grows back.❤

Made You Think: The stylist deserves an award. She’s amazing!!!

Chill Beauty: No quality product will leave your hair looking like this, period. I'm rolling my eyes at the patronizing tone of some of these folks "correcting" your experience, when they can't solve their own personal issues. These products shouldn't be bought for healthy hair long term. There have been several scandals with them. Thanks for sharing your experience, and props to your Hairstylist. I'm sure with the lesson you've learned you'll get an even better crown in no time

Mina Niang: This happened to me 2months ago, I had healthy relaxed bra length hair,it got mated after a shampoo.I was so upset but girl I just had a good cry and chopped it off to a cute bob and moved on.Some people have cancer others are dying,I was just not willing to let my hair hold me back.I do understand though and I followed your journey, I’m so happy you had a happy ending after all.❤

Denysha Dials: In comparison to what could have been, this is a very favorable outcome. The stylist did a great job ✨ P.S. This is also a great example of why it’s important for to address your deepest insecurities at some point in your life. For your mental health and your self preservation. ❤ Here’s to internal growth

krokan: The stylist was detangling your hair the proper way so she was able to help you much better than you were doing alone. I’ve been following your situation and in all the videos you kept combing from the top (root) down, resulting in more tangling, when it should always be from the bottom, up. But you were understandably upset and frustrated. I’m happy you were able to receive the help you need and look forward to watching your journey on recovering thick hair. ✨

Octavia Walker: The beautician is the LIFE SAVER. For her to take on such a complex project, yet being extremely careful and gentle speaks volume of her. The beautician is a true ROCKSTAR!!!

Nicole Ford: The way you’re emotional with your hair, it seems like you place all your value of who you are within your hair. It's ok, hair gets damaged we all have stories, learn whatever you needed to learn, dust yourself off and continue your healthy hair journey.

Hey Y’all: Girl, I LOVE my hair, too. I’m so happy you were able to salvage a great portion of your hair. Don’t listen to those who are judging you for loving YOUR hair. It’s because you love your hair and treat it so well is why it’s so beautiful. Ignore them all and keep loving on your hair.

Kalisha J: I'm happy for you and that you got the main problem solved. I don't think it looked trashy at all afterward. She did a fantastic job of saving your hair, and I'm glad that she was able to help and make you feel better. I know it's hard for you not to be attached to your hair and hopefully, after going through this you can relax your mindset and realize that you can grow your hair back even when it seems impossible. Thanks for the update.

Lauren Luckey: Let me be the first to say your stylist is everything. She was patient and gentle and had you smiling way more than the last few videos. I felt your emotions through your journey. By the way your hair still looks beautiful ❤.

TJ’s way 🌸: Hi Tamara! I've been following your journey. Just want to say I've been relaxed since 2015. I've cut my hair about 4 times since then due to damage or whatever other reason. Just letting you know I know how daunting it can be to have to start a haircare journey all over after investing so much time energy and money. But in the same breath (and this is not to minimize your experience because like I said I understand), it really is just hair. It will grow back love. And consider it a blessing that it can grow at all! I'm glad the stylist was able to help you detangle it. Just be patient, it will grow back.. you are not your hair nor are you defined by it and maybe there is a morale to be found in this entire situation.

Queen Leo: Losing hair can be traumatic but at least you didn’t lose it because of health reasons. You have no bald spots, your hair is still thick, look on the bright side of things. As you get older or even menopause can make you lose hair. I’m not saying don’t love your hair but don’t have unhealthy attachment to where it’s your whole life . When other things happen in your life hair will be the last thing in your mind. God bless

S_: I think it’s perfectly okay to obsess over your hair while you have it! Your hair is beautiful and i hope it’ll get back to that point again ❤

Tameasha Janaye: She did an amazing job and she conserved most of your length yasssssss she’s a bomb stylist psa: your hair is still really long also my hair got matted and tangled a few years back the stylist cut my hair off so short I cried so I understand how you feel but your stylist is the mvp I really love stylist who are not scissor happy and are willing to conserve length

🤎 Black Queen Magic 🤎: I wonder how a product made your hair get so tangled like that so quickly. That’s so crazy! But I’m glad you got it taken care of. I’m praying for a smooth, beautiful, and speedy recovery for your hair. You got this queen

Starry Nights: If it makes you feel any better, your hair is still longer and thicker than mine after everything lol! I’m so glad you didn’t give up. I really believed you would not have to cut everything. It will be back long and healthy in no time. And you will have new hair content on your channel with your new journey!❤

Auntie Z: Your hair looks AMAZING considering the extent to which is was tangled. You're not starting from scratch though. You still have amazing length. Girl, your hair still looks great! You had a setback; but please make peace with your setback and keep it pushing. Your hair will grow back. Time for protective styling (cornrows underneath wigs) for the rest of the year! Take your hair down every 2 - 3 months and get it trimmed from cornrows. Moisturize and add aruyvedic oils to your hair once a week while in cornrows. Take collagen and multivitamins consistently. Your hair will be fine after a few months.

Laura: I love that you didn't go bald too. I also love the patience the salon lady took to detangle your hair. I'm so happy for you.

Johnny Joestar: I know how it feels to start again, my hair was super thick (natural 3b/3c) and I enjoyed looking after it and seeing how it fell around my face but I went through a bad time in 2022 and didn't brush my hair for a year straight. It was matted up even worse than this, it was a literal hard hat on my head like a hair net, nothing fell or moved. Just everything was in one place on my head. But a few months ago, I just went for it. I sat down for a full day, conditioned the hell out of it with Garnier banana hair food (it works so instantly for me, immediately smooths) and literally picked it out strand for strand. Hair is amazing, It actually came out, the matting went away completely and my hair didn't look completely bad. It's a lot thinner and shorter though, I remember the stress made me lose a lot of it even when it was matted, it would fall out from anxiety. But even my mum and sister who helped me were surprised it still looked like decent hair :s But after a few more conditioning sessions and some time later, it feels soft again and the strands are smooth/don't have that rough bamboo feeling anymore. I'm getting my curl pattern back too My ends are very dead though I can see it go from curly to absolutely limp like a rat's tail, I'm afraid to go outside to a salon and get it cut but I know I have to so I can end this and move on. I'm not sure if it's worth doing it myself instead. One thing I learned was to separate the health of my scalp from the health of my hair. They require different attention for me. My partings were very wide and I was so scared I was developing baldness on my temples but I found an oil that I massaged into my scalp and thankfully my parting is nice and thick and new baby hairs are filling my temples in just a few months. Also since I don't go outside or eat much, I'm severely Vitamin D deficient and anaemic. Vit D plays a big role in hair follicles , I'm on 50,000IU and blood test monitoring to catch up on it. The over the counter limit is 4,000IU so you can imagine how low mine is to be on that strength. Even the doc said they were shocked. Clearly it's an important vitamin since now my skin is clearing up, my joints were on fire but they're starting to feel better, I really hope I haven't made myself susceptible to early arthritis or something. I hope things get better for all of us starting over

Authenticity Is Key: I'm so happy everything turned out well for you after all! I love your hairdresser, she did a great job, not just with the detangling but also the fact that she managed to get you back smiling and laughing again and forget the whole (or at least for a little while) traumatic Mielle debacle for a little bit. I'm telling you, she's a gem ! I hope you recover from the traumatic experience soon and get enthusiastic about the growth proces again. ❤️❤️❤️

Ashlyn Yorel: Clarify and moisturize! Your hair will shake back. I’ve been a beautician over a decade. Minimal to no protein until it’s no longer dull and dry. Can’t wait to see how beautiful it will be again ❤

Kris Jackson: I lost all my hair doing 8 rounds of chemo. My eyelashes my eyebrows even my private space just BALD. I also lost a few other things because cancer just sucks. Your hair WILL grow back and it WILL come back healthy. I understand the grief and your feelings are totally valid! It sucks to work hard at growing healthy hair and then you gotta get rid of it. Now you know what not to do and your stylist did great. You look amazing!! Thank you for taking us on this journey with you. We support you! Also is it fair to say it wasn’t just Mielle products but more just your hair reacting to so much protein or whatever?

RTAI: She's just sharing her journey, not asking for advice. It should be left at that. Most people are just repeating what she's already realized and acknowledged. I'm glad that you're getting back on track with your journey to healthy hair.

Lois Wilson: Stay strong hun. This had been so upsetting to watch. I can relate to being attached to your hair. You've been so brave and transparent with us. Make no mistake...you will rise above ! Keep smiling and stay beautiful ❤️ Btw, your daughter gave you a heads up when that bottle broke !!!

Paige Savanah: I wouldn’t entirely blame Miele for the damage. There had to be other factors. There’s a science behind it. But also training yourself to not be as obsessed or too attached to things may serve you well. Good luck on your journey❤

Lily Hall: I'm so pleased you managed to get it sorted hunni. I'll defo be following this journey. My heart goes out to you I lost my hair 4 yrs ago due to bleach burn. I shaved my hair off

Asia Brown: So glad to see your update ! I’m so sorry about what happened to your hair. I know you love your hair and nobody wants to experience breakage/damage but you have all the knowledge and tools to grow it back even longer and stronger than before. It honestly still looks very good but I know you can tell the difference. I am also growing my hair back after experiencing damage from an Aussie product and had to cut 3-4 inches off. Let’s grow our hair back together sis God will restore and comfort you 100x over.

M Kujeke: Aw Tamara so happy for you! I watched all 3 videos I hope you continue to document your re-growth journey. Another YouTuber “Curlyhaircrisis” went through something similar 2 years ago and that setback launched her haircare business ! Wishing you the best

Chuff: I’m sorry this happened to you. In the Milady Standard Textbook, it is recommended to use shampoos formulated for chemically treated hair (relaxed, permed, colored, etc). Usually they’re labeled “color repair”. I hope this helps you along your hair journey! Btw your hair still looks beautiful, a nice style can change your mood✨

meelliemoe: Whew, it’s not as bad as it had seemed. She helped so much. Bwoy thank the lord for her patience and commitment. Now it’s to heal from the trauma and rebuild, which you can do again. Thank you for sharing the journey as painful as it has been for you. I’m looking forward to the updates along the way. I’m still trying to recover mine from having babies back to back and breastfeeding for more than 4 years. The hormonal changes wrecked my hair. It’s now growing back in, much thinner because of the shedding and drier but I’m working at it. You did good girl. Oh and just a bit of advice, I would shorten your stretch times during this recovery time. As stretching the hair can be more fragile and you’re going to be needing to baby it so much during this time.

Allison D: I was waiting for this video from watching Part 1! Your hairdresser did a fantastic job. She was super gentle too. What products did she use to detangle. Other people may have similar problems and need help. Your hair has been through alot, but believe it or not, it still looks pretty good considering. I know you will give it alot of TLC to restore it fully. I am here for the journey!

RadiantRuby: Wow! I thought more was going to have to get cut off. I’m happy she was able to save as much as possible. I used Mielle shampoo once and knew my hair did not like it. You got this

Sylvia Gray: Yes, God bless the stylist! She did an amazing job. I hope that before you put Miele on blast, that you thought about what you or someone who treated your hair previously used. I have been using Miele and never experienced any matting. However a friend did experience matting but she did not use Miele but had put a protein treatment in earlier. I am glad the stylist was able to save your hair. Please don’t let your hair define you. The pieces you picked up off the floor you need to throw them out. Immerse yourself in something other than your hair.

Sapphire Hair Care: Your hair looks beautiful! She did a great job on it. In the future. Don't use too much protein on your hair. it's NOT the products. It's how we use them. You can't use protein every week or bi-weekly. It will damage your hair. Hope this helps, God-bless you

LA: I’m so happy for you! Your hair after all you been through shits all over the piece of hair I’ve got going on, on its best day lol! I’m 32 & haven’t made it back to shoulder length since I was 10yo currently trying to work iiit ooout! I will be subscribing to your channel today, despite me being natural maybe I could learn a few things from you even if it is just about perseverance and self love. I look forward to watching your hair blossom!

Danielle C: The problem isn't that it's just for natural hair. The problem is moisture/protein balance. If you use a strength shampoo you need a moisture conditioner with no protein. If you use both strengthening products on low porosity hair you will get protein overload with matting.

Felisa and Noni: So happy you were able to find a stylist who knew exactly what to do. I know it hurts when you look at the hair you've lost but the stylist was able to save most of it. This happened to me and I didn't even try to detangle I just cut 8in off I cried and cut every inch that was matted. I was becoming obsessed with my hair and that experience taught me a lesson. Your hair turned out beautiful it will grow back longer than before.

NaturalSouthernBelle: She did amazing!!!! You got this! I lost all of my hair APL due to covid19. I had not one strand and in on a journey for regrowth. Don't lose faith❤️

Who's that girl: I was expecting the worst but I’m glad you were able to salvage your hair. It will be back in no time.

Carol Foster: Big up to the hair style list she is really a hair professional God blessed her hands ✋ and everything she settest her hand to do.

NikkiWeathers: To everyone saying her hair was previously damaged and it was due to her relaxer & color….please watch the first video again. Prior to washing, her hair was fully detangled and you literally saw the transition as she shampooed (at which point it wasn’t so bad yet), then put that mask on. THAT is when it became matted….right before our eyes. Regardless of this product working for so many other women, it didn’t work for her. Aside from scrunching the ends of her hair, this was not an issue of lack of proper care.

Natalie Taylor: I’m glad she did such an amazing job with your hair, and she didn’t have to cut it off! Now you see it’s imperative you keep up with your salon visits especially when you have straight textured hair

Darla Blakes: I'm happy to see that your hair is detangled. It will grow back even better!

DammmnnnKaytreezy__: Just be thankful. She tried and she delivered. That stylist deserves a shout out. Some people are going through chemo and is unable to grow their hair back. You have a full head of hair. You hair looks good. Again Be thankful.

Lindiwe Dube: She did goood!! I’m happy you didn’t lose all your length! Happy hair journey, I know you’ll bounce back ❤

Shauna M: I'm happy that you got someone who genuinely loves and enjoys her craft. She did an amazing job saving your hair. If she allows you to, you should recommend her on your social media platforms for people who may need it. People like her deserve the free marketing. Best wishes to you on this journey.

Margaret Braggs: Tamara your hair is still beautiful after all that has happened. Continue to do what you've been doing. That's how you got the health and length that you had. Remember, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I am so happy for you.

S P Singletary: Tamara I have been following your journey and I am so glad that you connected with a stylist. Hair setbacks are upsetting & overwhelming. A similar incident happened to me with another product; I immediately rinsed it out and grabbed my bottle of Kera care hydrating and detangeling shampoo. I literally credit that brand to saving my hair from damage in that instance. Good luck to you on your journey.

NURSELADY VLOGS🎥: Please don’t let anyone shame you about your beautiful hair I’ve started my haircare journey almost a year ago and am experiencing extreme jealousy as well as hair envy from my colleagues

Dichroic Ribbons: This video brought me to tears!! Your hair looks amazing after all it’s been through & you gave me so much hope for my own personal situation!!

GlenCoco22: HAIR GROWS BACK SIS!!! I say this with love as someone who lost their hair and it hasn't grown back the same texture.. maybe God took yu through this journey to show yu that yur MORE than yur hair.. may the most high keep yu and give yu peace <3

Wassup G: Your hair will grow back..I was blessed with long, thick, curly hair and very tender headed. I’ve cut it several times, wrong product used which caused hair loss in patches, matted, tangled, health issues you name it ‍♀️ 3yrs ago my hair caught on went from 20” to TWA barely 1/2” and cut it completely off and now it’s 18”+ long . Conclusion: I’m not attached to my hair, I’m grateful to be alive to tell my story. I jus kept it washed/greased that’s it nothing special ‍♀️.. Good luck to you and most importantly start self ❤, your hair don’t define who you are ‍♀️

Nycole: So glad you didn't lose all of it! Still have quite a bit of length and it's healthy and gorgeous! Prayer works because GIRL! I thought it was a RAP for your hair! ❤️

Quaneesha Lee: Your hair is still healthy it's not thin. Praise GOD for working through the stylist!!! This is a testimony hunn in the making

Silina Dauda: No! You didn't lose so much hair compared to what lost. I have gone through this process all my hair life. And the last one was crazy. As if she was weeding my hair with a machete. I have suffered continual tangle. I pray God reveals the solution to me sooner. Your hair stylist is a saint. God bless her business. This is the way to make her known to the world.

JKeera Stephens: I'm praying for you and the restart of your revitalizing hair journey. Thank you for being so transparent and sharing with us. <3

Michelle EJA: Phenomenal hair stylist! She did a fantastic job of detangling and cutting your hair. I want to encourage you to be patient and enjoy this journey of growing your hair. You have and possess a lot of knowledge; life is about trial and error with a side of know better and do better. I look forward to watching your hair transformation.

Tiersa Mallery: I don’t think your hair looks trashy at all! I’m glad that she was able to save the rest of hair. Just do your DIY hair treatments and your hair will grow back. My mom does a lot of DIY hair treatments and she also makes hair care products. She uses them on our hair and our hair is very healthy. I will pray that your hair will return to normal, healthy and thick. ❤❤❤

ESHA Chavon: Yeah that’s the line I use and I don’t relax my hair …haven’t since the early 90’s. This is definitely for NATURAL hair only and works well for me…good luck on your journey getting your hair back ❤

D G: Hi Tamara: I am sorry what occurred to your hair. I know how you feel. It's hard putting so much effort into maintaining your hair, and then something like that occurred. I recently washed my hair, and it tangled a lot too. I lost some of it from combining out the tangles. Just going forward, be careful of the products you use in your hair. I know your channel is about hair. But remember, evil eye and bad mind is real on the internet.

Orchidea Yaug: I'm so happy you keep so much length. Don't worry, it'll grow back in at least 10 months. And feel grateful for it, cause you've been put through this by the Universe for a specific reason. You'll be aware of it later. Trust the process. I cut mine yesterday too because of damage and I felt liberated.

SiSi Brooks: I felt her pain, thankfully she still has plenty hair left. I wish her well on her new journey of preparing her own hair care blends. I remember going to a salon and they used Aphrogee to treat my hair, after that my hair was coming out in clumps.... I said never again will I protein treat my hair, because I was so scared of what the result would be.... fast forward 6years and I just had to cut off 5 inches of hair, because it finally needed protein which I have deprived it of - HOWEVER, now I know my hair type and quality (4b, fine, low porosity, "protein-sensitive") I just think I need to make my own treatments using truly NATURAL AND ORGANIC products from the grocery store & my hair stylist agrees. My hair thrives on mixing my own oils and butters, rather than brand-made products (which I have tried so many of, but never had the results of growth and strength, compared to when mixing my own).

Alexandria Rey: In love I say this, you literally picked up and took your trauma home with you. Let it go. Please don't become so attached to things of this world, even your hair. There's so much more to your identity than the way you look. I completely understand the stress of it all. I've been natural for almost 15 years and bc of deep insecurities, attempting to attach my worth to my looks, I destroyed my hair time and time again. As I cared less about the world and it's thoughts, I finally I cut off the damage in glee last summer and decided I just want my hair, my whole being to be healthy. I'll pray that you will heal and become whole in all aspects of your life

Shelley Stinton: I feel your pain, I had an ex ray on my head for two hours to fix an aneurysm, I lost half my hair, I have natural curls, it takes hair to make a nice curl all I have is frizz now. It will grow back they tell me. Praying for you and for me.

Keesha Jones: * Please know my comment is coming from a genuine and loving place! So happy you were able to fix the issue and overall processed hair can be damaged with the wrong products. I would suggest anyone who's hair is processed is to purchase salon products specifically for your type of hair(curly, relaxed, colored etc). Yes Target, Walgreens are great to go to because they're price friendly but that doesn't mean they will work for your hair. No shade sis but as a license psychologist I immediately saw that this situation was way deeper when you picked up your cut hair which was trauma bonding. Hair is a part of our dna and just like our bodies can go through it so does hair. If you had other issues going on in your life or had been holding on to pain/heartache you hadn't healed from it can lead up to a domino effect. Your peace is priceless and please don't think that once your hair was being cut that wasn't a release. You may or may not understand what I am saying and like all the POV's in the comment section stating not to attach yourself to anything is pure gospel, in which it's a form of idolism. People put their jobs, material things, people, vanity before The Most High and trust and believe he will remind you who is always first!! Take heed and yes you have one earthly body as you should take care of it but somethings aren't meant for you to do yourself. Hopefully you will learn from this lesson, leave it to the professionals(relaxers aren't good for WOC it causes cancer, fibroids etc). If you prefer straight hair go old school and get it pressed, which actually trains the hair rather than compromise like a chemical .

T Michelle: I was wondering when you were going to go to the salon. She did a good job! Something similar happened to me years ago with a line of Shea Moisture products a few months postpartum. I spent an entire night detangling my hair Your hair was cut to about my length so I’m joining you on this hair growth journey although I’m natural now

Drene Uplifting Souls: The fact that she was able to get the knots out. Omg she’s good!!! Girl I thought you would need a big chop!!

itsoquilla: I'm so glad you can finally be on your road to recovery. I rejoice with you too. Just stick to those products that have been working for you and in no time you can get to your Happy place

Mary Morgan: You will get your hair back to being healthy again. Don't worry. You got this! ❤️

Got Grease After Dark: Wow. I’m soo sorry you had to go through that. I went through a similar set back experience last month from a hair gel product. I was devastated just like you. We can only start over & make our hair routine Better than before. Prayers for you. Bless up

Ronldbx6: You'll get your length back in no time! Happy healthy hair journey!

Lennette Warner: She done a good job. Trust we've all gone through something like this with our hair. I damaged my own hair with bleach and had to go to a tapered cut from shoulder length hair that I was growing out. It's been just over 5 years and my hair is now waist length. I simply restarted my journey and was patient. I used to be really attached to my hair as well, no longer have that attachment. With how well you take care of your hair it will bounce back in no time I'm sure. All the best on your journey...

Ronldbx6: So great to see you happy and smilingly again ! Kudos to the stylist for a job well done !

Gloria Smith: It's Good to see you Smiling! Haven't seen that in several days. We truly were rooting for you! She did a beautiful Job!

Mz ChocoMilo: Healthy Hair is the key. And sometimes we overthink when it comes to our hair. I don’t think it was the products I think it was from matting . Which can easily happen whether it be natural hair or relaxed hair. And it’s always best to stay under a licensed cosmetologist. Side note idk why so many women idealize their hair. I’ve had long hair and short hair and it’s just hair. Two years ago I battled breast cancer I lost my hair. But it wasn’t my focus. It’s just hair and now I simplify my life. Cancer free and loving life! Bottom line girl it’s just hair!!!! It will grow back.

Maryam Lawal: Hello Tamara, I just watched your latest video and had to watch this one to understand what happened. I cried for you but happy to see that you still have hair left, 2 years ago I had an unfortunate encounter at a salon and lost two third of my hair, every since no body does my hair but my hair stylist, she is the only one that tells me what to do to it , what goes in and what no, so big Kudos to this stylist. The other thing is that I sell hair products online and so many customers are asking me to stock up on the 'Mielle' Products.... It's still new in the market and I'm worried about suggesting it to anybody especially seeing your experience. Have hope and be strong, your hair will grow back even better!

Dee Bell: Great job to the stylist who showed compassion and patience with this client. Question, was her hair relaxed or chemically processed? You can tell her hair was her pride and joy. What is your favorite feature?

Deirdre Purvis: I’m sure it’s hard but you are definitely in a good place… and will be able to get your length back in not time…. You hair still is full and pretty. Don’t let the set back deter you from your goals.. It’s all trial and error.. Keep going

Ironkitten1881: I’m not relaxed but I’m subscribed and looking forward to joining you on this journey through DIYs for hair health, thickness and length. ❤ Please take care and realize that we are changing, growing every day. Stay blessed.

Beautee Organics: I’m so sorry this happened to you, I experienced something similar but mine ended up with a bald spot in the front of my head. I started making my own NATURALLY ORGANIC hair and skincare products because the products that are being sold are infested with dangerous and harmful chemicals that are damaging to our hair follicles, scalp and skin. I pray your hair will flourish and grow back 10x healthier than what it was before

twisted reader: I'm so happy you were able to find someone to give you the proper care for your hair.

Kay C.: God has truly blessed that woman’s hands♥️ I’m sorry this happened to you! May yourself as well as your hair continue to thrive

1BlessedGem: I use these products as directed, and I've never had a problem. I also do not bother my hair, so there's that. I found that with our hair either relaxed or natural, it's best to keep it simple and basic. Your attachment to your hair is extremely unhealthy. You are so beautiful. And it's not because of your hair.

Teleah: She did an amazing job. I love how she took her time. She seemed gentle and in no rush. God bless her.

Shannon Stuart: I went through a similar experience. I tried out a new hair salon and the hair dresser ripped all of my hair out using a hair dryer and a comb... never will i ever trust any hair salon with my hair. I am now on a journey, it was so tough initially, it still is but it gets better. Your hair is beautiful, full and still long, you will recover.

Lisa Bramwell: I am sorry you went through this it must have hurt. I hope it grows back even better than it was before. Be careful with what you put in your hair; even natural products can do damage if too concentrated or not suited to your specific type of hair. Keep it simple, use those gentle moisturizing products that always worked for you. For treatments, a good hairdresser is usually the best way to go.

christiana ogwoni: Wow,that blunt cut gave your hair a healthy and beautiful look more than ever. Cheers to a beautiful beginning

Anthea Fyffe: It still looks good and will grow healthier. The comments are ridiculous.. can’t no one tell you how to feel about your crown. Im taking my locs out and I’m so excited at the length and thickness of my hair and would be very upset if I lost it.

BethAnn: The end result looks good. I'm happy that you were able to keep some of your hair. It was also good to see you smiling

Olukemi James: Honestly she did great! You’re going to bounce back, deep conditioning with mainly moisture and not much protein is going to help

Beverly Johnson: Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable part of your hair care journey with us.

Jamila Baker: Sorry this happened. Glad this turned out this way sis. Onward to the next journey.

Susan Kelembeck: Thank the lord. Yes your hair looks traumatised but you still have good length. It’s much better than I expected. Good luck with the DIYs x

Aesthetic Theme: I understand how you feel, but your hair still looks beautiful & thick. Everything will be alright ❤️

Reigning Womban #DontRuinMyZen 💃🏾: Starting all over with a hair almost bra length, is like a super jump start!
