Unsponsored Prose Hair Care Review || First Impressions

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, so I have been super excited about today's video. I have been wanting to film it for the longest time, but unfortunately, because of quarantine, it has been on a bit of the delay, like maybe three weeks delay, as you guys may have picked up from my previous videos. I have not been home since this quarantine. However, this package was delivered to my parents house, so they had to ship it to me so that I could actually film this video, but it is here. It is time for the big reveal. Today I am going to be reviewing pros guys. I have been so excited about this because a lot of these customized shampoo lines are always sponsored on YouTube, and I mean I'm a really really really really really small Channel right now. So there's no way in heck, I'm gon na get a sponsor video. Obviously so this is an unspun surd video of the pros hair care line. Now this line is completely customizable. It is similar to function of beauty. However, they have way more options for you. They even ask you things about the climate you're. In I mean they are very detailed, so here I have with me my pros box, I just in Little Italy. I have my pros box with me today and, as you can see, it is unopened. I'Ve not opened it yet I'm super excited and it could not have arrived at a better time because I am running out of my curl talked shampoo, so hopefully this stuff is good because I really need it. You know I should probably cut away from my face whoa. This is the inside of the box. It says your hair has a new story. To tell, and the first thing that's in here is this little car, so I say I say little, but it's like so on here. It basically has a breakdown of like my hair care needs, including things their environmental factors. One thing to note the environmental factors I'm in a different state right now, then I have put on the pros website, so I mean I don't think that's gon na be a huge deal because I mean we're used to the shampoos that are generic to everyone. So I mean, I don't think that's gon na be as big of a factor, but I really wish that I was in that state. While I was filming this, but you know things happened. So man like this is a lot it breaks down every one of my like things: uh, oh wow, like it tells you like in depth how to use begin with damp hair or to six pumps on to fingertips and rub together, adding small amounts of water gently. Massage hairs trying at the fruits working right down to links and ends read thoroughly a repeat of desired good I mean like wow. They tell you all the things that are in your haircare and it tells you what it's for so, like the curl definition. It has professional polymer and, like all of that stuff, so I'll show you right here, don't know if you can see not that's for my shampoo, just my shampoo guys, I mean they are thorough. I like them so far have any means them, but I think you so far uh and then it's healthy because actually how to use your conditioner, it tells you the same things. What is in it and what's making it work for these different things that I put on here and same with the curl cream, which I am really interested in, so I'm super excited about that, but there's my curl cream ingredients and what they do for me. Alright. So now we have our three different bottles and I am so excited because they just they look amazing. They look luxurious. I love this packaging so much in the bottom of the box. It has the pumps to the haircare, you don't have to use them, but honestly I like having a pump way better, but I like that they come with these caps because then, whenever I'm traveling with them, it's so much easier to put the cap on. I don't have to worry about it spilling or starting to pump in my bag. So I'll probably do that whenever I decide to travel with these, you know if I never get to go anywhere ever again, but yeah. As you can see, my hair is in a bun, it is ready to be shampooed and conditioned. I have been awaiting this arrival and I honestly just cannot wait. I am just so excited for this stuff, so let's now roll that clip all righty guys. So we are going to hop in the shower. Please excuse my weirdness throughout this video. I was in such a weird me that night I don't know why, but I am first going to hop in with the pros shampoo had some trouble getting. It started there um, but I am going to be using about five pumps. It'S super runny, so that was really weird to me. I have never had a shampoo that runny before, but it does suds up pretty well, I'm not sure if there are sulfates in this shampoo if there are they're not very strong sulfates, because it did not feel like my hair was being stripped whatsoever. So that was really nice. I like that it suds up it made my scalp feel really clean and also hydrated at the same time. So that was a little weird, but I I really liked it you so next I hop in with the conditioner and y'all. This stuff is thick like it is insane. So I feel, like I use, maybe a little too much. This is the recommended amount. It says like four to six pumps, but honestly, I think I need like maybe two pumps um, but I used that anyways. So I just come to that through my hair and y'all, it was so easy to detangle my hair. That stuff was incredibly slippy, as I say right there, it's so soft and it just made it really easy to detangle, but it also didn't make my hair too weighed down as you'll see in a second, when I squish to can dish, it still retains its curl. So I really like this conditioner, I don't think it's a conditioner. I will use all the time because I've noticed the more I use it. The more weigh down my hair gets. I think it's kind of a conditioner that I might use like occasionally or maybe I should just go to the pros website and change my preferences and maybe not have it as moisturizing. So now I'm going to take a clip and I'm going to clip it up. It says to leave in the conditioner for like 4 to 5 minutes, so that is what I'm going to do and then I am going to rinse out my conditioner thoroughly and do a little bit of squishing in the back and then once I am done. I will pop my hair up and I will be back to show you the curl cream. Also just so you guys know. I have my hair more in a turban thing, but it is very loose. So do not worry, I'm not really messing with my curl formation. There I'm not plopping either, though I've been doing that a lot recently. So I'm not going to take that into consideration when it comes to the curl cream, but it is now time to start our curl cream and gosh. It was thick. I was so nervous to use this guys because I really I didn't know how to apply it, so I really was afraid to use this because of how thick it is, but it actually ended up really helping my curl formation. I was shocked like look at that guys, it's a cream, I never use creams. They scare me. They scare me a lot uh-huh, so it told me to rake in the product, but I normally don't rake in my products because it breaks up any curl clumps. I have I'm just kind of trying to get the hair off man, but I normally don't rake in so I kind of started to rake and then I'm like. No, I'm not gon na do that, so I just smoothed it over and then I decided that I would scrunch it in and then I went for the diffuse. So I don't know what happened to my hair here, but I am done diffusing. I'M just gon na check to make sure it's dry and then I will start scrunching, even though this isn't a gel. It'S still left like a little bit of a cast. I guess all my hair, I don't know if it's because I used too much of it. I'M not sure, but I still like to scratch my hair off, even if I'm not using a gel it just kind of fluffs, my hair out gives it more volume, and I don't know I just really like that result. No matter what, but guys can we look at the rice out of my head? Please, like I, was shook with how well my hair was curling, maybe not on that side of my own, but the right side of my head was so curly. It did not hold very well. I will say that about this cream, but I think paired with a gel. It will work really well, alright guys, so it has been a couple of days since you have seen that previous clip and today I actually styled my hair with that cream product. But I let my hair air dry and I mean it's still fine. I mean I still like these results. I would still wear these out, but they're, just not as defined as the ones were when I diffuse my hair, because that product is slightly heavier, and so when I just let it sit on my hair for hours on end until my hair dries then ways. My hair down, so if you have hair similar to mine, I would recommend diffusing if you are going to use that product. But I honestly love it like it's just because I let it air dry today that I don't feel like it did as well and honestly, my hair still isn't quite done drying, so it's still a little flat and stringy, but as the day goes on, it will Get a little better, so let me give you my final reviews on these products so for the shampoo I loved it I like the scent of it. I think it did a really nice job cleansing. My hair, I like that it sucks up a bit, I'm not sure if this is sulfate, free or not, but honestly for my hair type. I really don't care if it's completely sulfate free as long as the sulfates aren't harsh, and I could tell that this did not strip my hair, it kept it nice and healthy and nourished, but it did the job. As for the conditioner, I also loved this product. It was super moisturizing and it was so easy. I feel like I'm swaying back and forth, and it was so easy to detangle my hair honestly if you're a finger detangler, I'm not I just it. Grossed me, oh, but if you finger detangle, this will be the perfect product for you, because it works really well at keeping my hair, nice and slick, but it doesn't like weigh it down too much when I squished chicken dish. With this thing, I felt like my hair popped up pretty well, so I don't remember if there was any proteins or whatnot in this, but as for the cream, I definitely will still use this product just maybe not every day. I would mainly use this on days that I want a looser curl such as this over here. I feel like I'm still kind of having to get used to this product, but I really do like it. I think it gives me some good definition, just maybe not as much volume, but it still leaves my hair super soft, which I love about this. I don't like having too much texture to my hair. I like having some texture, because you know the curls got to stay somehow, so I can like it. I just would maybe use a gel with this, especially if you want hold, because by the next day my hair, I mean it was super smooth and silky, but it was pretty darn straight and pretty darn flat. The next day I haven't tried to use this as a refresher, but if I do, I will update you guys and see how it goes. I just don't see myself reaching for this as a refresher when I have the curl talk refresher. I love that stuff and I just feel like this isn't really gon na do much. For me, it may be for those of you who have super dry hair and a tighter curl pattern than me. You might enjoy this as a refresher, but I just don't think I will. I might try it one day, but I haven't refreshed my hair since I filmed that video and I just I needed to wash it today so maybe I'll try it. Maybe not, but I like it just if I want something a little more holding and a little more voluminous. I might not reach for this, or I might use it with a gel well guys that is it for this video.
