Thank you so much for taking the time to watch! Have a lovely, wonderful, fantastic day!

Number one thing that has stopped me from going: bald, hello, everybody and welcome back to my channel. I hope you guys are having a lovely, wonderful, fantastic day before we start anything. I just want to say a humongous. Thank you to everybody who watched my last video about my alopecia. I was entirely overwhelmed with the amount of just kindness and caring and support, and the comments like between different commenters, between people in the community and towards myself. I just i really was overwhelmed with it. I didn't cry nearly as much as i thought i was going to in the video, but those comments you guys. I was bawling the entire time that i was reading them. I am still gon na try to get back to more of you guys. There was like 3 000 comments and it was just. I was very, very scared to post that video, it's my biggest insecurity, it's one of my biggest fears and to talk about it so publicly it was incredibly nerve-wracking, but you guys just made it honestly. A wonderful experience for me - and i just i can't thank you enough. I did ask if you guys had any questions about alopecia hair loss. My story anything like that in that video and then on instagram, also in our community tab and one of the biggest questions that i got was what have i done to try to regain or keep as much hair as i can a lot of you guys. I just saw a difference between, like my initial photos like two years ago and now, and i just kind of wanted to share with you guys exactly the products and things that i have done to regain some hair um. It'S not it's not a ton of hair. I'M gon na be fully honest, it's kind of hard to see in photos and stuff, but um. I definitely still have a lot of thinning a lot of thin spots. I definitely still have alopecia um, it's probably something that will never fully go away, but i can manage it, try to slow it down some and hopefully make it look a little better. So that's what we're gon na be doing today. I have a whole list here. I have all my products here: um we're gon na be talking about everything that i've really done and like stuck to over the two years. I mean i've tried just about anything. I'Ve tried just about everything you know if there was some like scientific article saying if you go outside and lick the dirt, every five minutes, you're gon na help your hair grow back. I probably would have done that honestly. The only things i haven't really tried yet are like your standard hair, regrowth things so like minoxidil, finastericides vera locked in i haven't done any of those yet and i'm not sure. If i ever will to be honest, um, maybe one day, i will get to that point where i do want to try those more traditional roots for hair loss for now. These are the things that i have really stuck to over the past couple of years and maybe they'll help you guys all right. So, first and foremost, if you're experiencing hair loss or hair thinning talk to your doctor, that's the first thing you have to do. You have to talk to your doctor talk to a dermatologist. You need to find out what is causing your hair loss, because there are a million things that can cause hair loss, especially in women. Vitamin and nutritional deficiencies thyroid issues, hormone issues. Pcos stress like there are just so many things that can lead to hair loss and hair thinning. So it's really important to figure out exactly what is causing your hair loss, hair thinning to be able to actually address it. So, for me, like i said there is most likely definitely a genetic component - everybody i pretty much talked to so far as far as like dermatologists and doctors have said, it's likely due to genetics in large part um, but i also do think, there's probably a pretty Intense um nutritional vitamin deficiency issue that i had for several years, so i kind of addressed my hair loss from like a couple of different directions: um, so that's why there's so many things that i've tried? The very first thing i did when i was trying to address my hair loss was change, my diet, so i really did like kind of an overhaul of everything that i ate when i was experiencing a lot of hair loss, hair, thinning hair falling out um. I was in a time in my life, where my diet was really bad. Like i don't know how to i don't know how much i'm going to go into it. It was really bad um. I definitely wasn't getting the nutrition that i needed. The things that i was eating was mainly like packaged, sweet, tasty, stuff, very tasty, just a lot of things. I had very little like nutritional value to them so uh. When i really started to try to address my hair issues, i also addressed my diet. I started to eat like a more balanced, healthy diet, a lot more proteins and, like greens and good carbohydrates, i cut down a lot of the processed stuff. I have definitely like waiver gone up and down on that one, you know it's, it was sticking to a super healthy diet. It'S hard. It really is hard, but i think one of the things that helped me keep on it honestly was. I was doing it for my hair, like as i was eating four cloves of cooked spinach with like pumpkin seeds. On top, i was like it's for my hair, just get it in, but there are many ways that you can improve. Your diet add some more protein. Get some more healthy things in there to help your hair without like just eating spinach and chicken, so with a more balanced diet. I also wanted to make sure i was getting like just as much nutrients into my body pumping through my veins up to my head. As i possibly could so, i also started taking vitamins the amount of vitamins i did take and sometimes still take verges on excesses like you probably don't need this many vitamins and it's probably too much for you and again talk to your doctor, because vitamins can interact With medicines and different things um, i was probably taking too many, and i still probably still take too many sometimes, but the things that i've really stuck with have been neutral full, which is this right here. This is neutral for women. They have a couple of different types of neutrophil. They have one for men. They also have some for women that are in the like menopausal stage of their life. I take four of these kind of yellowy pills every single day. I try to take them with like a nice, healthy fat or a meal, or something and um. I do believe that this has helped my hair some. If you buy the entire neutral fall kit. It also comes with a stress adaptation, adaptogen um, and this has saw paul marx. What are words sal? This doesn't have salt palmetto. I'Ve been taking this for a very long time and i definitely thought it was saul. Palmetto um, but in fact it's actually a reishi mushroom and some other stuff in it uh, and then i also take this hair biotic. So this is like a little set that you can get with neutrophil, but you can also just buy like the hair wellness vitamins by themselves. The second vitamin that i take was actually the first vitamin that i ever started was this here. This is the viscal pro. This is the professional strength version. I initially got this through my dermatologist, who was like a verified seller of it um, but i do think there are some places online that also are verified sellers of it. This is an expensive vitamin and honestly, so is the nutrafull, especially if you like the kit. Both of these are very pricey, and i'm very very sorry about that. But those are like the two that are actually kind of recommended by dermatologists like actual doctors and things. There are plenty of like hair growth, vitamins out there. You know there's hair gummies and there's biotin and different stuff like that, but these two are the ones that i actually like hear from professionals in like dermatology and, like actual doctors, recommend these two. So those are the two i went for um. Do i need to take both of them? I i don't know um, but i'm too afraid to stop taking either. I did actually stop taking my viva scalp for a little while and thought i could see like my hair was thinning out a little bit more. So i i restarted i i just i feel like these are probably things i'm going to be on for the rest of my life, and that is incredibly expensive, honestly for vitamins like for the rest of the time that i want to keep like the health of My hair up, but with everything that i do for my hair. Basically, i just look at it and say all right if this is like 100 all combined for my vitamins or whatever a month um. Basically, i just look at where i cannot spin that elsewhere. So maybe i don't order doordash several times a month, um and that will be like the offsetting cost of the things that you know. It'S important to me to try to keep the health of my hair. So i offset those costs of, like you, know my vitamins with other expenses in my life. Another vitamin that i take all the time is iron. This one is actually called a blood builder and they've somehow made it out of beets and like vegetables and stuff. But this is an iron supplement. It has vitamin c folate, vitamin b12 and iron in it and 125 milligrams of beetroot. I don't know um, but this doesn't upset my stomach. I really do like this iron medicine when i was nutritionally deficient and not eating very well. During the same time, i was going through a lot of hair loss. Any time i like stood up kind of quickly or even not very quickly, um. I would get very dizzy to the point of like blacking out, so like my vision, my field of vision would shrink in really dark. I would get really dizzy and have to sit down, and i think that had a lot to do with potentially an iron deficiency, and since my nutrition is better and i started taking iron, i really don't have that issue anymore. That kind of like dizzy, standing up filling so as far as vitamins go. Those are what i personally take and i will continue to take for as long as i feel the need to. I have tried just like everything else under the sun like if it was in vitamin form and it could potentially help my hair. I have tried it all right now. Moving on to shampoos and conditioners, i use the same exact shampoo every single day um. This actually isn't the first shampoo that i started using when i was having hair issues, but that one actually was discontinued. So i had to switch shampoos which really freaked me out to be fully honest, because i thought like well what, if it's, the shampoo, that's fixing. My hair and i'm like i'm, never gon na, be able to get it again. So all my hair is gon na fall out. You know very rational thoughts, but i have switched to the shampoo here, which is by hair, restore laboratories. Sorry, the bottle's a little crushed up and stuff. This is what i took straight out of the shower. This shampoo is meant to block dht in your hair. Follicles dht is what they believe is like the mechanism and genetic hair loss that causes the hair follicle to miniaturize and they try and get thinner and thinner and then eventually, just like entirely fall out. So the dht, like blockers in here, are supposed to help a hair thinning, reduce hair, shed and fall. This also has no parabens sulfates any of that kind of stuff in it you're supposed to leave it on your head for like three to five minutes, and it is recommended to use this daily um. I have heard you know very often that washing your hair daily it just it just isn't very good for it. But in like my kind of situation, my case, there is the belief that, like dht, can kind of get caught in the sebum follicles, like in your hair, which can be detrimental for somebody who is sensitive to dht and losing their hair because of it. So for me personally, in my case, i do wash my hair every single day and i do leave this setting on my head for as long as i can to really let it like absorb and set in the conditioner. On the other hand, i really i don't condition like my scalp, so i don't really know if this is an actual like anything that isn't helping my hair, i don't think so, because it's not been working like at the root of it, i'm just afraid, because my Hair is so thin and fine that conditioner is really gon na weigh it down. But recently i have been kind of like adding it like back here and like to the sides, and i haven't noticed much of like a thick kind of like way down. Conditioner feel which is good, because the conditioner actually has like separate ingredients that are supposed to block dht as well from the shampoo. So maybe they could work together and help me out even more. I will say that these are very expensive shampoos and conditioners, or at least i think so i think they're like 30, a piece which to me is incredibly expensive for how many 16 ounces worth of product. However, they do run sales quite often and you can get like a buy one get one free or you know they have different sales. Like that a lot and when that happens, i try to get as many as i feel comfortable with buying at the moment. So like, if they're running a 50 off like mega sale or something i'll, definitely stock up a little bit because they are so expensive before i even get in the shower, i do something else to try to reinvigorate my hair, which is oil it. So i oil my hair before every shampoo, which is every single day and uh. I was using this kiehl's magic elixir, which i did like and was really nice, but i don't know: what's happened you guys this? Has it's gone crazy? It'S madness! This is out of stock on, like peel's actual website on that website. It'S 22., but you can get like on amazon, for, like 59 bucks, they're reselling it places for like double triple the money so uh. I thought that was absolutely insane, but i did like the oil and how it's like working on my hair, so i just decided to make it myself. I looked at the ingredients here on the back and it said the first thing was avocado oil. Then there is safflower oil and then eventually down a little bit, there is like rosemary, so i decided to take those four oils purchase them myself and kind of like larger sizes and then mix them together into this bottle, to create my own hair, oil and um. I honestly i really like it. I think it works pretty well that way. I could also get everything like organic and cold pressed there's, no fragrance added, there's no preservatives anything like that, so i'm just making my own hair oil and i think it's working out pretty good so about like a minimum of at least 10 minutes before i shower. If i can leave it on longer, i definitely will like this could be like an all-day kind of like leave-in soap. If i don't have that much time, i will squirt it on my head for my shower and then i'll flip my head upside down and really really massage my scalp, like kind of like yank it like all over the place, and i just think my hair feels A lot nicer after i use an oil or something before i shower right, so getting out of the shower getting ready for the day. The next thing i use is rosemary water. Oh i forgot to bring my rosemary in here. I was going to bring this like a just the chunk of rosemary to show you guys, but anyway i get rosemary from kroger. It'S organic and it comes fresh if you have a rosemary plant and you have the ability to keep it alive. That'S fantastic i'll! Go ahead and use that and just trim you off some to use for your rosemary water, but unfortunately i do not possess the skills to keep rosemary plants or any other plant alive. I take my rosemary sprigs. I give them a rinse. I put them into a little like saucepan with about that much water in it throw them in there. Let that come to a boil, i kind of muddle it a little bit and then i turn it down to a simmer, put the lid on and let it simmer for quite some time to create like a really strongly steeped, rosemary water. And then i drain that all into just a glass spray bottle, and then i spray it on my hair. I will spray it on my hair, let it set kind of soak in and then i will spray it again on my hair and then dry, my hair. I don't rinse it out, i just let it set on my scalp and on my hair, all right and then the last thing that i actually like apply to my hair is rosemary oil. So there has actually been a study done with rosemary oil compared to minoxidil, which is the ingredient found in rogaine, and the study found that rosemary oil had the same effect or even slightly better effect than the minoxidil without the side effects. So um. As soon as i heard that i started rubbing rosemary oil on my head, so for the rosemary oil i do purchase that i don't make it on my own. You can, though there are um like how to's on youtube and stuff, but i get this rosemary oil. This is from now essential oils. This is a 100 pure rosemary oil. It comes with two ounces. I think i got this from thrive market on sale too. If you guys can get any of this stuff on sale. I highly recommend it does say that you are supposed to use this with, like a carrier oil of some sort, if you're going to apply it directly to the skin. Sometimes i don't listen to instructions, but you definitely should um. I have been just kind of applying this directly to my scalp because i haven't seen any type of irritation or reaction to it. There'S no burning or itching or anything like that - just kind of like a cooling sensation, so um. But you might want to look into that and you probably do want to use a carrier oil, but basically at night time before bed. I take a q-tip put some of this onto it. I part my hair into like sections where i can see like kind of a scalp line. I rub it on there and then i take this little natural bristle brush and just like ever so slightly massage it into my hair, the rosemary oil i've been doing for quite some time, but this is a new addition. I'M just hoping it'll help stimulate the hair follicle a little bit again like i said, i'm just throwing literally everything at my hair like hoping something will stick and make it better, but truthfully. I think i've honestly seen a good bit of improvement, or at least a little bit of improvement in my eyes when i started using the rosemary oil and the rosemary water. Other people have also told me as well that they do see some improvement in my hair kind of recently. So maybe it's working. I hope it is all right. You guys - and that brings me to the final thing - that i do for my hair, which is the most painful, the most expensive the most time consuming, but also, i think, number one thing that has stopped me from going bald. I think, without doing this, i would have been to a point where i could have no longer hidden my hair loss and would have probably already been in wigs by now, and that's just my personal thoughts and feelings behind it, because i was losing such large mass Quantities of hair and then when i started doing this particular treatment, my hair shedding dropped to like almost none. I'Ve heard different things that people lose from anywhere between, like 50 to sometimes up to 200 strands of hair a day i was losing up to 200 strands of hair, just in my shower and then i started this procedure and my hair shedding in the shower. After several months of this procedure dropped to literally five to ten strands so from like 100 to 200 to 5 to 10.. So the very last thing that i do for my hair is called prp. There have been many uh mixed thoughts and feelings and results about prp as i've kind of searched the internet. Some people say it's like game. Changing like this, can really really help your hair. Others say that it does nothing. I personally feel that it drastically reduced my hair, shedding as far as like actually keeping my hair in my head and preventing me from going bald. This, i think, is what did it so prp is platelet-rich plasma. It is where they take a blood draw from your own arm, your own blood, you spin, the tube of it in a centrifuge, and it comes out kind of in layers. There is the ppp, which is the platelet platelet pore plasma, and then there is the prp, which is the platelet-rich plasma, and that is what they take to inject into your scalp. I just do injections all along the scalp this process. It is painful um. I will say it is much more painful on the sides of my head personally than it is the top, but still its injections uh. For me personally, i was not like numbed in any way shape or form, but to be honest, it wasn't it wasn't too bad. Uh one of the worst parts of it is the price it is insanely, expensive, it's so expensive and you know insurance doesn't cover stuff like this, because it's cosmetic, you know you don't need your hair to live. So it's purely cosmetic. I was very, very desperate to keep my hair. Keep that in mind. I was very desperate. I was willing to do anything. I was going to pay any amount of money, and i was, i was fortunate enough to you know, be able to have the ability to do so, and that's one of the reasons that it's taken me so long to talk about this, because i just feel like It'S not it's just not really an accessible treatment so for three sessions of prp uh it was nearly two thousand dollars at the location that i went to um and i did it many many times many times and i, like i said, desperate to keep my hair And to grow it back like, i was willing to pay that amount of money, and it's it's a lot of money. I was thinking to myself, like i'm gon na, have to keep this up like for the rest of my life, and i was trying to do the math of like how much money over this many years. It'S gon na be, and it was it's an insane amount, but i also was seeing results so i'll show you guys the picture of when i first started my prp treatments to. I think it was six treatments in i'll show you guys the the difference, and i do think there was a fairly reasonable difference between the two pictures. Now, with this condition that i have, i feel like it's honestly a day by day thing some days, i'm like. Yes, my hair is looking full and thick and luscious um and then other days i'm like wow like i can fully just see, like my whole scalp my whole head. So, like the sixth treatment after picture that you're seeing here like, i think it looks pretty good for that day, but, like two days later, it could have looked worse. But i do think there is a difference between the first picture and the second picture, and that is why, like i just i kept going back and spending so much money uh because, like i had this hope in me, like this thought of hope that, like maybe I could have a regular full head of hair. However, i have recently come across another place that i have been able to do. Prp. It'S also mixed in with another treatment called mesotherapy mesotherapy on its own. I don't really know how well it works for hair loss to be fully honest, but it is mesotherapy mixed with prp, so this place. I called them just to kind of get like an estimate on how much it would be for prp treatment and they told me nine hundred dollars for one, and i was like oh okay, and then they told me they have like this club. Basically, where you pay 179 a month - and you can get any procedure - you want basically um so now, instead of paying two thousand dollars for three treatments, i'm not paying two thousand dollars for like twelve treatments, so is that the correct math? Okay, i'm paying two thousand one hundred forty eight dollars so a little bit over two thousand dollars for a whole year. Treatments versus like three months of treatments, which definitely um, is still incredibly expensive. But it's something that i can work into my budget. A little bit easier and i can get done more often and hopefully have better results. That being said, it is insanely painful. This one is so much more painful than my prp treatments this one. They have like a little like round thing like this, with like seven needles sticking out of it, and they all go in at the same time to me personally, it's very painful, the lady that does it she's like. If i were you, i would be bawling my eyes out right now. It'S painful after my head stays sore for several days. Like it's, it's a pretty intensive experience. I know i keep saying that word, but man, hair restoration, has been incredibly incredibly intensive for me, but if it works - and i see even better results than prp i'm to me - it's worth it to me. It'S worth it to go through the pain, the cost. The time you know the sore head for a couple days after like it to me, it's worth it and to others, it might not be, and i fully totally understand that if you think i am crazy for doing all this stuff just trying to get my hair Back i get it, i do get it because it is a lot, but at the same time, if you're wanting to try some or any or all of these things to get your hair back, that is totally totally up to you totally your decision and you shouldn't Feel bad about it because it's your head! It is your hair and it's it's only up to you. I am going to be trying out low level laser light therapy, which is in the silly little helmet with the laser lights in it that you've probably seen before. But i have heard from some reputable sources that it's actually something that can help your hair. Even when i went in for my first prp treatments, i would get a low level laser light therapy treatment before i did my prp. So it is something that's offered like at dermatology offices and things like that, so i'm hoping that it might actually work. I i have my helmet, though, if you, if you guys, want to see it, i guess i could put it on for you here she is um. I did buy this like two years ago when i was in my fully desperate mode of trying to get my hair back, so i look like i'm in devo, but for some reason after i bought it, i just i honestly never used it. I think i used it once or twice and then my mom said she'd want to give it a try as well, because she also has incredibly thin fine hair. She has less of it than i actually do. Um, which you know probably, is where my genetic disposition for it comes from um, but you guys can see on the inside. There there's just tons of little like laser lights in it and it is supposed to stimulate the hair follicles and like the red near infrared. Light is supposed to to do something, but i have heard like dr dre here on youtube. Who is a dermatologist talk about this and she she says it works and some other sources that i've seen have cited this as a possible like treatment for hair, thinning and hair loss. So i'm gon na give it a try. I already have it. I bought it. Two years ago i can't return it now, so why not go ahead and give it a try? Hopefully this has been a somewhat informative or helpful video. I'M sorry. It has been very long. I'Ve just there's there's i do a lot of stuff uh. There'S a lot of steps in my everyday life: hair care, routine, hair, restoration, routine. So i'm sorry i'm saying kind of long video, but i hope it has been somewhat helpful for anybody out there again, i'm so sorry that this might not be the most accessible cheap, easy to do kind of hair care thing. But there are small things you can incorporate into your everyday that could have an improvement on your hair and again just make sure you're talking to your doctor to figure out what's truly causing it, because if it is just something like you know, maybe you're really low. On like vitamin d and that's causing your hairs to shed, if you start taking vitamin d, then you don't need to do the rest of this. You know so. Uh definitely talk to your doctor to figure out. What'S going on with you but yeah. That is all i have for you guys today. Thank you guys, so very much for all of your support in this. It has been truly remarkable to me just to see like how much the community has come together to just support everybody who's going through something like this right now, um. It'S really it's really nice to see, and just thank you guys so very much for that. I am very very lucky to have you all and just thank you guys for watching. Please go ahead and consider subscribing if you wouldn't mind doing the absolute world to me. Actually, if you guys have a wolf, i just hope you guys have a lovely, wonderful, fantastic day and i'll see y'all next time you

Alexandria Ryan: Hey guys! A lot of you have been asking over the past several months what steps I have taken to get my hair looking fuller and healthier. I also received a lot of comments after my last video asking about all the treatments I had done for my hair. The reason I haven’t told you guys about it until now is its honestly a really intensive process that I have been going through to het back and keep the hair I have been able to and I hated recommending things that were expensive, time consuming, and painful. But I want to show you guys what I have done to help get my hair back a little so that maybe it can help someone else out there going through the same thing! Let me know if you have tried any of these things and how they worked for you! Love ya

lovemesomeslippers: I spoke with my doctor and basically got a shrug and “it can happen”. He never looked at my scalp or ran any tests. Unfortunately, I have seen other non-caring docs and didn’t go to someone else, as I should have. You have motivated me. I at least need to be checked for underlying conditions as I start this journey. I think I’ll look for a female doctor, who might understand. I’ll talk to a nutritionist instead of my doc about nutrition. Most docs don’t know a whole lot about nutrition.

Brooke Gustafson: The number one thing and ONLY thing that has grown my hair is stimulating my scalp 24/7. Just whenever I'm sitting around & think about it. When I was working in the operating room while waiting for patients to roll back pretty much any spare moment I'd massage my scalp with my fingers. Astonishing growth. ❤️

Brianna Soza: My hair honestly started to get noticeably thinner when I was around 15/16 years old. I think it is stress related bc I've dealt with generalized anxiety and depression. Now at 27, I am trying sooo hard to finally care for my hair instead of giving up. I am really looking to add to my routine before rushing to expensive products. Thank you! I have health insurance for the first time in over 10 years so I do plan on seeking a Dr's opinion... that has been one thing sitting on the back burner.

Ash Laraque: Girl there is a huge difference in those photos. I’m definitely trying out some of these things thank you a lot been trying to grow out my hair after years of chemical damage to my scalp

mollympls: i have really fine, thin hair and my husband is starting to lose his hair and we both use the ordinary's multi-peptide serum for hair density and boy oh boy does that make a difference. the last time i cut his hair he had a TON of little hairs sticking up everywhere, and i have a brand-new patch that came out of nowhere in the front of my head, too. it makes a HUGE difference. i'm pretty amazed. no idea if you'll see this since this is months after you made the video, but i thought i'd share my experience. good for you for being so open and honest about this. it's not just hair! it's a big deal!

CopperAngel 1980: My boyfriend has early thinning and this has so many things that I can pass along to him. My mom also had fast thinning hair and even though she passed in 2017 you helped me realize that it may have been more then just thin hair like most made her feel like. Also talking about your journey helped open my eyes to what its like for someone with alopecia. Fingers crossed your journey stays on a positive track

Delen Potter: Even before you posted your last video, I’ve said time and again, “you could post a video reading the dictionary and we’d watch it” and I stand by it. You’ve created a beautiful community who love and support each other, and you. I’m so glad you felt safe and comfortable enough with us to post your story. We love you, we’re here for you, and you don’t need to worry about us. We accept you for you, because you’ve been so genuine and lovely

Z: I literally saw significant growth in my crown spot. I started last November 01, 2022 and I just took a photo today December 17, 2022 and compared them side by side. I'm honestly kinda surpised and now I don't need to go further into minoxidil and all that unglamorous chemicals lmao I did the following routine religiously: 1. Fenugreek seed once a week every Wednesday or Thursday. I soak it overnight. For instance if I'm gonna use it on Wednesday, I'd soak the seed in water on Tuesday night. 2. I oil once a week on the weekend. My combination is coconut oil + rosemary oil. Leave the oil for at least 30 minutes before shower. 3. I don't have the money for Nutrafol, so I got cheaper otc multivitamins and I separately bought biotin supplement too. 4. I've been drinking collagen powder since November 16 for clear skin and I don't know if this also influenced my hair growth, but I intended it for my skin lol 5. I do scalp massage EVERY SINGLE DAY! Minimum 10 minutes and I usually watch a 10 to 15 minute video while doing the massage to keep me from boredom. 6. I use moringga shampoo. You can get it in your local store or just use milder shampoos, just stay away from overly advertised "natural" shampoo. Also since November 1st, I also started alternating my shampoo use. I use shampoo every other day but I wash my hair everyday since I workout too. 7. NO HEAT, NO OTHER HAIR PRODUCTS. How I dry my hair after shower? I face the fan and let it dry there. I also minimize combing unless necessary 'cause I heard about traction alopecia and we don't want to be pulling our own hair. I'm not a healthy eater at all, only 4-5 hours average sleep, so "de-stressing" has definitely no influence on the growth (but maybe if I start fixing these things, I'd get more result). I'm still on this journey and 1.5 month is too short of a time but the result is already visible. I wouldn't stop until the crown spot completely closes! Y'all can do it too! There is no harm in trying unless you're trying minoxidil lol Also you might ask why fenugreek seed? Why rosemary oil? Why scalp massage? I was convinced to try these things 'cause there are actually medical journals that talk about it and its effect on hair growth. I don't listen anymore. I read and do.

Nobody Knows: You are absolutely amazing for posting this and the last video, speaking out about a topic that I think gets brushed under the rug. Thank you for going into details, being honest about how pricey some of it can be. You've given me a good starting point to research options for my own hair, and I appreciate you so very much

noot noot: fun fact: i don’t even buy any subscription boxes or advent calendars, alex i LITERALLY only watch your videos for *YOU* and nothing else. i’m proud of you for opening up about this, and i just want to remind you that most, if not all of us watch your content for your personality and your attitude. ❤️ we love you!

Kylie-Anne Connell: You are a beautiful soul! Thank you for not turning this into a sponsored post. I’m all for sponsorships, but I have seen some influencers do sponsored videos for a hair regrowing serum and you can tell the before and after photos are staged and when it comes to hair loss it’s heartbreaking when something is promised and then doesn’t work. Thank you for your honesty and openness xoxo

BluFluffyA _: Massive difference , congratulations on your dedication to your hair health, the silver lining is that this helped you become healthier overall so I'm sure your mind and body are thankful too! That said, even if you did reach a point where anything didn't work anymore, your worth is unchanging, despite the amount of hair on your head, and wigs are always a fun option. Your hair is looking great and I'm sure it will stay that way for a long time to come with all the care you're giving it

Khyra61: My hair loss is hormonal after having a hysterectomy. I found that increasing my vitamin D really helped my body to absorb the other vitamins I take. Also, try adding a teaspoon of salt to your pre-shower oiling. The salt gives the oil an extra bit of grit to massage your scalp bringing extra blood flow to the skin and slough off dry layers.

Marina VarMar: I'm glad you've found things that work for you and appreciate that you're upfront about the costs and affordability issues other people may face in this. Too many times influencers/"famous people on socials" just want to sell a quick fix, so it's great you're being so responsible with what you're putting on here :) hope anyone suffering with alopecia can find out the root cause and get adequate help without being scammed for bogus snake oils

Kara Rice: Thank you so much for sharing your experience. My whole life I have watched my mom struggle with alopecia in silence. Knowing that she wouldn’t talk to other friends and family about it made it really hard not to dread getting it myself. Seeing other women openly discussing their genetic hair loss is really empowering. It’s not just hair when no one else seems to be going through what you are going through. In this video you discussed some things my mom has tried, but you have also brought up some new things that I have never seen before! Thanks again, it really means a lot!

Katie: I see a HUGE difference! As a woman with PCOS with thinning hair, thank you for sharing this on your platform. I know it was difficult, but you’ve given so many people hope that it can get better. ♥️ Sending you lots of love.

Kelly De Marinis: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with hair loss. I have been dealing with a similar situation, and it really helps to know that I am not alone in my struggles. You are so inspiring and I appreciate you being so open with all of us

Holly Webster: If any of you are post-menopause, please don't accept this as a default diagnosis for why you are losing your hair. My primary and my dermatologist would not help me look for reasons why I was losing my hair. The recommended treatment, minoxidil, gave me a headache. I went out on my own to research my hair issues. Rosemary essential oil, the Ordinary hair serum, castor oil hair masking and changing my eating habits has helped. My hair is not what it was, but I'm no longer losing chunks of hair and have had a significant amount of regrowth over the past 2 years.

Jennifer Gloria: Alexandria, having your hair is part of your identity. I know when I lost my hair to chemotherapy I cried and cried. It was one of the hardest part of being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Though our hair journeys are different, I feel the pain of hair troubles. My hair is super fine, but stick straight. Styling my hair is my biggest conundrum. It wont hold a curl for anything. I have given up and just pop a ball cap on and call it a day. I wish you luck on your hair journey.

Basma Akram: I have the same condition and I’m so desperate to get my hair look at least normal but seeing this gave me hope that it might be possible thank you so much for doing this and no you’re not crazy! I totally understand how it’s stressful and painful

Amanda Duffin: I will add in my hair story two things 1. Starting an snri I saw an explosion in my hair loss and its taken a long time to wean off and find talk therapy etc to replace it. Still waiting to see if being off of it reverses the side effects 2. Hair straightening products.. I started getting a more intense hair straightener process called Hair Botox when I moved to a really humid environment, thinking not needing to style my hair would in fact lead to less damage. This also exacerbated hair drop like crazy, it took a while for me to realize it was a cause until I decided the price was too high and I saw a difference in skipping treatments

daydreeeem: I’ve always had thick hair but semi recently, my entire hairline thinned and a lot of it broke off, mainly in the back and more around my hairline. I think mine was stress related and maybe due to my health concerns I’ve been dealing with and it affected me much more than I thought it would. Thank you for sharing your journey with alopecia, I’m sure it wasn’t easy and we appreciate you so much.

Tracey Solley: I am loosing my hair due to my chronic illness and medications, my hair is important to me but I’m not sure it would regrow because of my conditions, I’m so happy for you that you are managing to get regrowth and I pray this continues for you. Take care x

Chrissytoyou: My sister has a very similar issue and she has been using red light therapy daily on her hair. She said it’s amazing what it’s done for her ! She bought the set that is specifically for the head and she has a helmet she wears for 45min-1 hour while she works or relaxes on the couch

Jessica Snider: I don't have alopecia, but I'm experiencing post-partum hair loss, it's been a real struggle for me, because like you, I never had the thickest of hair either, I keep mine short to help make it look fuller. I feel like these tips will help me as well, thank you for being so brave ❤

Gina: Thank you for sharing this, I’ve just starting losing my hair in handfuls and I’m honestly devastated. I was so glad to have found your video on this. Definitely helps knowing I’m not alone it, even though I feel it :( x

mediocre bankai: I’m so happy you’re doing better. I’m right there with you, mine is alot better now. Mine was due to a huge shock and continued stress. Mine shed like crazy for three years, lost about 1/2 density and I was heartbroken. I had waist length curly hair. I ended up getting my mental health under control, getting any vitamin deficiencies taken care of, using rosemary essential oil, and of course time. Docs blew me off, wouldn’t even listen since I wasn’t bald.

Angela Jones: I am glad to see that you now know how much you are loved by us all - big loves to you also have you had your blood pressure taken recently? as the symptom you described as maybe being caused by lack of iron (although that could certainly do it) also is a symptom of postural hypotension and I just thought I'd mention it just in case

dexy gal: Thanks for sharing your story. I can relate to everything you say. Going through the same thing for the last several years. ..and hard to accept when the girth of my ponytail used to be thick to now almost non existence. Have been contemplating the PRP - but yes pricey. If I know it will work I would love to get done.

_ Kass: I can totally relate to trying a lot of things for hair loss. Mine seemed to happened after having c-sections and my tubes tied. Few years after that I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which was a big issue causing it. As I hit peri menopause, gluten and dairy intolerant, my hair was coming out in mass. I’m taken a liver reboot, an organic Zinc(with many fruits n veggies in it), upped my fish oil, and saw palmetto. It’s made a huge difference from more loss, but my thyroid seems to keep mine from regrowth. I might check with a dermatologist since a lot of other doctors haven’t helped in that department. What has the hair oil done for you?

Jodie Tester: I can’t express how happy I am you did this. I’ve been struggling for years and lately I’ve noticed it’s not as easy to hide. And I have to say after watching your video I’m not feeling as bad about it so for that I’m forever thankful!!!!

eRiN♡HaYLeY◇: This is so Awsome of you to share your personal journey with the world. I know that is so hard to do, especially with something so personal to many woman as hair. Your info will help soooooooo many people and that is the good that you are doing for everyone!! Sending Prayers and positive vibes to you for all the luck in the world and more on your hair journey and THANK YOU!! XO

Ronfinkleburg: Thank you for making this video! All these tips are very helpful as someone who deals with hair loss due to thyroid issues. I really appreciate you sharing your struggles and what you’re doing to overcome them, and I hope to get the confidence and self-assuredness you have one day

Amanda Straight: Hair loss is very depressing for me, just like you I’ve tried everything with not much progress so I was hoping this video would help me find something that would actually work but sadly I can’t afford what you do, but I’m so happy for you that the steps you have taken are working, I can see a huge difference in the pics❤️ Unfortunately my journey with hair loss is only going to get worse, I can’t even imagine my head even a year from now

L L: Thank you for putting out this video. It helps me not feel like shit to see someone around my age also dealing with hairloss. I know it probably took a lot of courage to do this so thank you so much!

Mel P: Thank you again. I’m starting with my dr and blood draws and follow ups now, you’re right d,iron, &! Thyroid all are related to hair loss. I’m so happy you’re continuing your hair journey with your audience. Thank you , you’re helping me verify and decide issues between dr visits!!much love to you & your fam

Mars Ashley: I'm at work so I can't watch until later, but I wanted to drop a comment to say that I am so proud of you for overcoming your fear of speaking about your hair loss, so much so that you've now made a second video about it to help others with the same struggle. Talking about our personal struggles publicly is HARD. You are awesome!

Just Reading Comments: Thank you for sharing this. I know how devastating hair loss is, especially for women. I sadly also have androgenic alopecia. I noticed a very thin area in the front of my hair almost 2 years ago and my overall hair was A LOT thinner. I went to a dermatologist and am still being treated but things aren’t getting better. I wanna cry whenever I see my reflection. So many people dismissed my feelings in the beginning saying things like “O you can’t even notice it” which you definitely can or “it’s just hair” and basically making me feel vain for being upset about it. I totally understand the throw everything and the kitchen sink at it approach and being willing to pay any amount to try to stop the hair loss. I asked my dermatologist about PRP injections but she said she didn’t think it would help with my hair loss which after the prices you quoted I’m kinda glad cause I would have paid them and just never ate or something to pay for them. I have several mental and physical health issues besides the hair loss but the hair loss has been the total gut punch. I’ve always had very long, beautiful hair, I was always complimented on it, it was what I was known for and literally the only thing I liked about myself. There’s so much stigma around women’s hair loss so again thank you for sharing your story.

Alli davs: Thank you so much for this video. I've been suffering from hair loss the past 10 years. I will need to look into some of these tips. The PRP is not for me cost wise. But if you can do it, girl, just do it. You are beautiful and your so silly and I love that! Stay you, stay genuine and get that hair back chicky!

elliemayfield: Thank you for being willing to share. I shared this with my best friend who’s struggled ever since she had kids, and she’s recently just come to terms with wearing wigs. A lot of this she can work into her routine and give her a bit of hope for how to fight back. Love ya!

karthik hariharan: Heartwarming journey.. Fighting hairloss takes a lot of acceptance. The fact that you are initially dealing with the stigma, sharing this gives every one hope.Whether it is weight, hairloss or skincare its basically gigo.Give good stuff and give it time God bless

Kay London: I am personally not going through hair loss but I know if I were I would feel the same way. I love my hair and would hate to lose it. And I'm very sorry you're going through this. But I'm also glad that you've found some things that work for you.

Mary Murphy: Honestly, if you did not tell us you have Alopecia, I never would have guessed in a million years there was Anything wrong with your hair. Just so you know, your hair is Beautiful Alex and it looks very thick and full. ( I don't know if you are using extra hair like extensions or tracks but you look great)

Samantha Fowler: This has been so helpful. I am so insecure about my hair and I have been really hesitant about using rogaine, etc. I really appreciate you showing the more natural treatment options. I am definitely going to try these out and hopefully it helps! Thank you so much for sharing! It is so helpful and so comforting to know that you were able to get you hair to start growing back!!

Jackie Mesa: Your thought process is so relatable. Many thanks for sharing your experiences and optimism. :)

Pr3ttyFlaw3d: I cannot express how happy I am that you came forward with this. In my family, on my mother's side, my grandmother, mom and aunt (mom's sister) all had extremely thin hair. When my mother passed away recently, I asked the funeral home for a lock of her hair. When he game it to me he told me he couldn't get much because my mother's hair was so thin. I've been so worried that there is something genetic, like genetic Alopecia or a thyroid issue (those also run in the family. Hurrah for my genetics. Sarcasm) anyway, you've encouraged me to open up and see my doctor as well. Thank you so very much and I will say, your hair looks amazing. You're doing what's best for you and don't feel bad or apologize for anything you're choosing to do. Thank you so much for opening up about this. That alone is huge and helpful to SO many people.

Misoneism2002: Story of my life and it's depressing. Thank you for sharing your experience and all your tips and tricks. I currently do many of the things you mentioned. I want to wash my hair less, but I wash everyday because of the DHT removing shampoo and because it fluffs my hair and removes all the oil that could weigh it down (obviously because you're stripping it from your hair daily).

Shauna Corrigan: Thank you for doing this! You gave a lot of really good tips in this video and a range of things to try that can fit into anyone's budget, which is very much appreciated. It takes a lot of guts to talk about this, especially since there are bound to be people who think the treatments you do are excessive or unnecessary, but their opinions aren't the ones that matter. We all have something that we're willing to go to what seem like crazy lengths for, but in the end it's your body, your money, and your happiness! Thank you again for sharing your experience!

Lisa Kay: Thank you for this. Though I haven't personally experienced hair loss. It is something that runs in my family. My uncle has alopecia, my mom, aunts and sister have thyroid issues and I have PCOS. So it's close to home. Always good to hear how people react to different treatments and methods.

SaraB: I completely and totally understand the feeling of doing whatever it takes.. I do understand the fear of "maybe it's this thing that works and if I stop it..." I completely feel you and understand the entire process.. thank you for sharing your experience.. Lods of love from Morocco !

White Rose: I didn't comment on your last video but I totally relate to you. I know you have a lot of other comments with other beautiful ladies talking about their experiences and it's crazy how many of us have been dealing with this. I've been anemic for a very long time and I'm also in my 40's now (hat kinda just hit me upside the head) so I've noticed hair thinning in the last few years. In February of 2021 I got covid & oh...my... God did I have a hard time with it! I ended up going to the hospital bcuz I was seriously dehydrated & couldn't hold anything in for a while. I shouldn't have waited so long to go in to the emergency room. Anyways it was devastating to my body. I found myself losing A LOT of hair 3 months later and all I could do was break down crying. I talked to my doctor and I bought the Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins & already had vitamin C & iron pills prescribed. I saw a dermatologist which ran tests & determined it was due to the traumatic event covid had on my body. So I went crazy taking all these vitamins & eating more protein. It did grow back decently but I didn't stay consistent after I saw it grow back. That's my fault so now I'm doing it all over again bcuz of my anemia. Anyways I guess I'll be fighting this for the rest of my life as well but at least I can do something. Glad to see you've got improvement in your situation & your hair is so pretty. I never thought you had any kind of hair issues

Emily Junkin: you gave me so many ideas to try and help my hair loss. thank you so much. i really appreciate you opening up and helping out all of us who need it. i hope you continue to have success with your journey and someday, won’t have to worry. love you and thank you!! you’ve been super helpful and i’m so so proud of you ❤️❤️❤️

Natalie Dallimore: I lost a ton of hair after having a very bad bout with COVID because I had such a high fever for days. Talk to several women who experience the same thing! It's finally started coming back. I would like it to be thicker so I'm excited that you're sharing your journey!

PixieDusted: Hey! Thank you Alexandria! I recently hit pre menopause & my hair is thinning a bit more than I’d like. I do understand it’s normal but I’m going out kicking & screaming. ❤❤

Katilyn Stransky: This video and your last video helped me so much. I'm also dealing with the sudden loss and thinning of my hair and I'm so scared about it. But seeing that other people are also going through this and there are ways to help makes it a lot better!

Jasmine Bains: Absolutely amazing video. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your experience. I am in the exact same boat as you-I have been to dermatologists and have been trying spiro & finasteride on and off for about a couple of years. I get good results but then I keep on stopping them because I’m afraid of the long term effects on my fertility. All of the information you shared is immensely helpful you have no idea. I am going to try all of your suggestions now that I know there is a way through this without affecting my fertility. Thank you so much ❤

Mads1: I can not tell you how much I appreciate this video. My hair is fine, thin, brittle.. and I always thought I just got it from my dad. Not to mention, I get my hair highlighted.. so. further damaging. Your results look amazing. I'm really going to try some of these things. I think it would be cool to make my own little thing like you did. You seem like a very genuine person. It's hard to find videos nowadays that arent secretly sponsored/etc. Thank you :)

Radhe Radhe: Thank you so much for sharing your experience so happy to see you have gained your hair back and the things that helped you on your journey you’ve gone through the stress of combating the problem praying your hair roots keep getting stronger and stronger where you then won’t need to stress about it any more and routines will becomes second nature with no worries of going baldthank you again for sharing

Ashley Ricketts: Thank you so much for this video! I am also experiencing hair loss and I love your step by step instructions. I do have an appointment to see my doctor but I am going to try some of the things you mentioned in the mean time. <3

Christina Tremblay: Thank you so much for this. Recently, I've started losing a LOT of hair to stress. Like. Clumps. So I'm trying to find something more minimal to do (as well as lowering the stress lol) so I'll give the rosemary oil a try!

Julie Fernandez: Thank you for sharing this! I also have AGA and I decided to go the minoxidil route. I'm extremely happy with my results from minoxidil, but I'm always very interesting in hearing what others do that I might be able to add to my routine! Thank you for sharing your experience and helping to take the stigma out of female hair loss.

Lucia Marquez: Thank you so much for this video, so extremely helpful! Also you should definitely do a GRWM on your makeup in this video! % Just simple and subtle, yet flawless looking!

elliotsgirl: I feel your pain on many levels with this. Just know you're not alone at all. With your specific type of alopecia you may want to ask your gynecologists about lean PCOS or non insulin resistant PCOS, you may also need to discuss this with an endocrinologist, but they are often more dismissive of the non insulin resistant type of PCOS.

Aisha Khan: Girl you have done everything ! I am very happy for you pretty souls, may you enjoy your hair for a long time:)

Andrea Green: As a new viewer, just also wanted to say I never would've known you had any hair issues at all. Your hair looks beautiful and healthy!

Stephanie Padilla: Thank you for sharing this. I’m on my hair regeneration journey. I have even looked into hair transplants. I wear wigs for special events. Currently doing meso therapy shots and prp along with rosemary oil every few days before wash. Keep up the good work your hair looks amazing. Absolutely beautiful.

Sterolar: I just cut off half of my hair today to play catchup to my hair loss and regrowth over the years. I'm hoping I'm on the growing side but I'm always shedding. Just know these videos are greatly appreciated, thank you for sharing your story and process

Therese Moodley: I admire you for talking about your journey. I have been for 2 prp treatments so far and yes they are so darn painful but after just those 2 treatments I have noticed a major difference in new growth. I also suffer from androgenic alopecia which is genetic. Hoping that someone somewhere makes a magic pill to solve our problems‍♀️

Bonnie: You are gorgeous. With or without hair. Your hair does look nice. Much better than my fine, thin hair! Great video, thank you!

Baixiulan: I lost thickness in my hair since my suicidal attempt 4 years ago. I went to see a dermatologist who said there was nothing wrong with my hair. But I know my body and as being Asian I know how thick and full my hair was. Now I have a buzzcut but we still can see that my upper back of my hair is lacking of hair. I don't know what to do I am exhausted. I start losing my hair I was 25.

Juniperus: Ive done prp as well! I think it was worth it though I’m still struggling with my hair, I’ve had a lot of new growth after 3 sessions, I’m waiting a few months to see if I wanna do anymore potentially but it IS expensive . I was in a similar situation where I was desperate to not have anymore hair fall out. I had a long running iron deficiency that was never caught until I decided to go to a Derm whom determined my hair falling out wasn’t alopecia bit was a ferritin/ iron deficiency. I’ve been treating with two iron pills a day as well as nutrient rich foods but also the prp to help the hair regenerate healthier. I don’t regret it. It also is painful and I chose to to not do a numbing cream because it has to stay on your hair for the day and it’s icky

Danita Walters: Your hair looks amazing!! I caught this video because I have a similar situation and it's so funny because I have thrown the kitchen sink at my hair loss as well. I have a Theradome that I started using on 4/13/22 and I swear my hair has stopped shedding as much. However, I too was dangerously low on iron as I am anemic, and I started taking Iron in February. I also changed my diet and have started an arsenal of other vitamins, Vitamin D, Collagen, Magnesuim, Hair, skin & nails, Quercitin, and Zinc. I have also started massaging oil into my scalp before washing. So I was very interested in your story and it gives me hope!! I am going to follow you and watch your progress. Hopefully one day I will have a success story to share as well!

Becky with the Balance: Thank you soooo much for sharing these tips! I keep hearing about rosemary oil so now I will definitely be ordering some! I’m here with you with vitamins and special shampoos so you are not alone with trying everything!! The biggest thing that has helped me with shedding is not using heat on my hair as much.

courtney rose 🌹: i’ve been subscribed to you for so long and while it breaks my heart that you are dealing with a health condition (i have an autoimmune condition myself and i know how awful they can be), i am SO happy that by sharing you found support and community i could cry you deserve all the goodness and happiness and sunshine the world has to offer; you bring so much happiness and sunshine to other people and i’m so glad you’ve found a little bit of comfort through your bravery of sharing a personal insecurity, i can only imagine the courage it took but no matter what, you are and always have been GORGEOUS, i know everyone agrees, and i hope you feel gorgeous everyday (you’re so beautiful inside and out, genuinely)

Leslie Gaines: Awww. Thank you for sharing your story. I’m starting PRP next month as I’m also desperate for a treatment for my alopecia. I’m praying this works. I’ll be happy just to get a small amount of hair restoration. Good luck to you!

OutOfTheKlosset: Dang! Seven needle punctures all over your scalp every month?! And I thought my quarterly 50 scalp, neck, and face injections were bad. Sending you lots of love and support.

JOAN KIMBLE: I totally understand what you ae going through and I commend you for telling everyone about this. My dermatologist began by giving me pills to take along with Male Minoxidil. Did that for a couple of years and nothing happened. My hair still fell out. After 2 scalp biopsies, I am told that I have 2 different types of hair loss. Then I started injections. I also took Niacin and lots of vitamins including a good multivitamin, vitamin C, B12, b6, and others, along with the vitamins for hair, skin, and nails. Then I also started using Biotin shampoo and conditioner, even shampooing 3 to 4 times a week. Right now, I get injections in my scalp every 6 weeks and there are 6 injections then, too. And I use the biotin and collagen shampoo and conditioner from Walmart. I have noticed a drastic reduction in hair loss. I see my dermatologist on 8/16/22 for injections and I can barely wait to tell her about the decrease in hair loss. I will get her to write down the name of the medication. My insurance company pays for them. My hair loss is mostly in the front. I don't even have enough for bangs, and she also said I have "a thick scalp". BTW, the injections don't hurt at all that the dermatologist gives me but, if it contained cat poop, I'd still get them!! I can understand what you feel. When I was young, I had thick and long hair that I could style any way I wanted to. Now my hair is so thin and non-existent in spots, I usually wear a wig when I go out. My own hair is now short. My wigs are of various lengths and colors. I wish al the women with this problem good luck and encourage you never to give up.

jay ll: Your hair looks so beautiful and treating your hair so much is gonna make your hair look so good when your older ‍♀️

Kate: I'm struggling with hair thinning too and I'm so happy to see this working out for you. It's awesome that you found more natural solutions, your hair looks fantastic and you are glowing <3 you deserve this

Havad: I love all the heroic steps you've taken to fix this - which is not the least bit vain; hair makes a difference, more than some will admit!! And to share this is courageous of you!! God Bless

John Greenslade: Hi Alexandria, i have only recently come across this video and firstly i just wanted to say that you always look fabulous and just come across as such a lovely person. I know how tough it must be for you and im so sorry you are going through it. I also think you are extremely brave to of made this video and thst in doing so you will have helped many others struggling with the same. I am a hairdresser in the uk and have seen many clients struggling like you. Something that could really help you when you are noticing your parting more thsn normal is to use L'Oréal root touch up spray. You can get it in a colour which would match yours and instead of covering grey hair it will colour your scalp and gove you a great cosmetic result. I am not saying you need to do this by any means as you always look wonderful but if you were having a particularly bad week its something that could help. Sending love from the uk ❤️

Stanley Fox: Your hair looks thick and healthy and shiny. I'm lucky to have thick hair but it was getting very dry during the summer so once a month or so I started massaging in virgin coconut oil into my scalp the night before washing. It naturally works it way down the shaft. Wash as normal. And the condition improved. It was stronger and really cold to the touch and I needed less and less conditioner and no longer need serum. And coconut oil is very good for brain health. Some say can improve Parkinson's and Alzheimer's etc. Much more recently I started using rosemary rinse and am really happy with the soft shiny results and I think it gives a feeling of calm and reduces shedding. Next I want to try Chinese 'shampoo' which is rice water and orange and grapefruit peel.

Lezlie R.: This video stumbled across my feed. I e never watched before but wanted you to know that I think your hair looks great! It’s shiny and healthy looking and doesn’t look thin at all so keep on doing what you’re doing

Vicki Barana: It is truly amazing the things that you are able to do to work on keeping your hair. This was extremely informative. I don't personally know anyone with this condition, but can only imagine how hard it is to deal with. My hair is such a big part of who I am so I can totally understand working so hard to keep it. Thank you for explaining alopecia really is in terms we can understand and thank you for educating us on the reality of living with this disease. Your hair does look great and I hope things continue to improve for you!!! Your videos are always so fun to watch and I adored the advent calendar "series" they were great!

Linda Tannock: I'm so glad you spoke out about this! I suffer hair loss, and know how hard it is to deal with. Your hair definitely looks a lot better now! I bought a set of the Plantur caffeine shampoo, conditioner and treatment tonic yesterday after you posted. I already take hair/skin/nails supplements. It's worth me giving it a go! So proud of you for talking about it. Just looking at the comments, there are so many of us going through this

Iggy Brothers: You always look amazing and beautiful!! Also I recently watched Dustin Dailey talk about how he was almost bald and how he started using a product and his hair looks so much thicker than ever now so it's definitely worth a watch even if you don't plan on using it, it is still very in to see how such a drastic change is possible. I have always had thick hair that's been past my bum in length and each time it gets past my bum I would cut it off to shoulder length to donate to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer. But unfortunately my horrible health has taken a toll on my hair the past couple of years and it has really started to struggle which is really strange for me who is used to hair down to my bum!! But I'm used to my health ruining everything in my life at this point by now!!

Nicole Dukich: You make me feel so not alone. I am actually looking for someone to microblading. I am lacking so many vitamins because I had Gastric Bypass Surgery. I also am severely anemic because of the surgery as well.

Lori Rubin: Good for you and your hair looks beautiful. I have struggled for years with this!! I’ve tried many things that you have but you may have a few more things I will try. You come across as so genuine and sweet. I truly appreciate you vulnerability. Keep going beauty❤️❤️❤️❤️

Elizabeth: God love you! You are a very brave young lady and I’m so very happy you are seeing results from the treatments you’re doing. Thank you for sharing your journey and know we love you no matter what! You’re beautiful and so is your hair! ❤️

Breana Miles: I lost half my hair when I was in high school...it was devastating. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong with me with blood tests, thyroid tests..etc. I was vegetarian for two years and that had to have been it because when I went back to eating some meats like chicken and turkey my hair stopped falling out ha. I just wasn't getting enough complete proteins.

Scrambled Egg: Girl, keep it up, your hair looks fantastic and twice as thick, great job!

Chloé B: I understand so much when you say your are ready to do and pay anything for your hair. People don't understand the importance of hair in our society and when we talk about our hair loss they say we are dramatic but if they were in our shoes I think they would change their minds.

Veronica Hayes: I’m happy you are able to be able to afford the PRP treatments. You are doing everything that you can do to help yourself. As long as it makes you feel better that’s all that counts.

ebsarooni j: both part one and part two of the videos about your story have been so beautifully done & so honest. you are truly a bright light alexandria!

Becca Andre: I appreciate your sharing SO so much! I have been on a rollercoaster of a journey with my hair along with the diagnosis of my many chronic illnesses. Hair loss is often a side effect of medications, and it's not something that's really spoken about. Sure, now we have to feel like crap and lose part of who we are on the outside too. I have recently picked up on the whole castor oil thing - I found a decent inexpensive brand that has castor oil shampoo - but I didn't know about rosemary oil. I think I'm going to give it a shot, along with the dry brushing!! I have one of those silicone scrubber things that look painful but are actually super amazing, for in the shower! Thank you again for sharing!

elaine Hay: My heart went out to you , I have had fine hair all my life and have always wished for lovely thick locks. Seeing you so vulnerable made me want to reach through the screen and hug you . Loving seeing you upbeat and positive going forward . You are beautiful whatever your hair is like but you look great

Kelly Jaggers: I just had my first round of PRP this week and your video has given me so much hope! I have dealt with my thin hair for 12 years and I am just now seeing a derm about it (my GP did not think it was something she could help with ... I am getting a new GP). Your story is so similar to mine. I use Revita Hair Stimulating Shampoo or Conditioner, a HairMax, Rogaine, vitamins, and I just started a prescription to help regrow my hair. When you say some days your hair feels fuller than others ... that really resonated with me. I feel EXACTLY the same! You are so brave to speak up, and I hope you know that your voice will help so many others to seek treatment. The more women demand effective treatments the more science will work to fulfill that demand! Thank you!

SP: Red light therapy on the scalp is amazing for hair growth and stops hair fall! It’s probably better than prp because it naturally promotes collagen and hair production. There have been some studies on it. It’s helped so much and is way cheaper than prp.

Lindsey Blue: It’s quite possible that I’ve watched and liked all of your videos over the past few years and have never commented. You make me smile, you’re so goofy and real. This has made you even more real and made me realize how much I count on you for a smile. Please count on us for support! I know it’s hard to discuss difficult things, believe me, I do. You’re so brave and this has helped so many!!! Stay up, stay blessed!
