Sarah, you said you started practicing makeup right yeah, but it's not like i'm a miracle worker or anything hmm. Maybe we could do something about that hair yeah. Why does it look like that? Um, like what i don't know. It just looks different like look at ours. It'S just nicer and healthier, and yours is just frizzy now honey. I want you to make some new friends at school today. Okay, i know i know it's not easy, moving to a new school and having to make new friends, but i wanted to move here. So we can have a better life and you know back home is too dangerous. Can you do that for me? Can you make some new friends, of course, mom i'm gon na make some new friends. You know why? Why? Because my attitude determines my altitude, that's my girl right there. That'S my baby! Okay! Well, you go ahead and you have a great day at school. Okay, bye, baby, oh oops! She forgot her lunch and then i saw brian look over at me. I could totally tell he was eyeing me, so i did what any pretty girl would do. Oh yeah! What'S that ignored him you're, so crazy, hi, girls um, do we know you nyet? My name is vienna. I just switched schools nice to meet you guys. I'M sorry did you say gals, you must not be from around here. We don't shake hands with people, we don't know for all. We know you could be a criminal yeah she's right. How do we know you're, not a criminal? What that's nonsense? How could i be a criminal, i'm only 13., well just to be on the safe side. Why do you dress like that? Like what i don't know? It'S just your clothes are all loose and they have holes in them and it kind of looks like you're wearing boys clothes. Oh whoa. This is my brother's shirt. I like to wear his clothes, sometimes wait a minute, so these are like hand-me-downs like someone else already wore them and they're, not even girl's clothes, um yeah, what's wrong with that. She just said what's wrong with that: oh britney, if you want to hang out with us you're going to need to learn how to dress, i wouldn't be caught dead in that outfit. Sarah, you said you started practicing makeup right yeah, but it's not like i'm a miracle worker or anything. Maybe we could do something about that hair yeah. Why does it look like that? Um, like what i don't know. It just looks different like look at ours. It'S just nicer and healthier, and yours is just frizzy hey baby. I didn't want you to forget your lunch and mom's leftovers. Oh don't you all look pretty! Thank you thanks what you have a good day at school, okay, sweetie seriously, who packs lunches these days um? Well, i do it's way cheaper than the school lunches ew. She just had school lunches. I'M sorry, brittany. We don't know anything about that life, we're getting ubereats for lunch, i'm thinking steak and lobster yeah sticking out just sounds good. Hey. Where do you think you're going um well class is starting well, you're gon na have to wait and going after us we're not gon na be caught dead. Seen with you walking in with us gosh the nerve of some of these poor people, hey baby. How was your first day at school, you make any new friends. No, the girls made fun of my outfit yeah outfit. What'S wrong with your outfit, it's a boy's outfit mom! I don't want to wear this anymore. I want to wear a dress like the pretty girls at school. A dress huh is that all my little princess wants no and stop talking that accent we're not in louisiana anymore. All right. You moved us out here and we have to talk like they do. Ah, okay: well, what else does my little princess want to see happen? I want to straighten my hair. I don't like how frizzy it is. What'S so funny is my little girl embarrassed about where we come from? Who we are you want to be like them? Let me tell you something: baby black is beautiful, okay, you should be proud of who we are and where we come from our heritage, i mean we are some of the most beautiful people on the planet, earth and don't let those girls fool you, okay, true beauty Comes from within it's how we treat one another, okay and i know a lot of attractive people who are definitely ugly on the inside. So don't you go around being one of those ugly girls? Okay, i raised you better than that. The south raged you better than that. I just want to fit in. Why would you want to fit in when you were born to stand out baby? You see this magazine right here. These women come in all shapes and sizes, colors they're, all beautiful. So you go ahead and you tell those girls that brittany was left in all over her mother's speech. Everything her mom said really sank in. It was exactly what she needed to hear. Britney'S mom continued to explain to brittany what black culture was all about. She taught her to think and rise above any small-minded person with her newfound confidence. Brittany was excited to go back to school the next day, but her mom had one more surprise waiting for her in her room. I, like your nails, do you think bride will notice? Definitely hey brittany is that a new dress? Oh yeah, i like it thanks. I like it too. What brand is that um? I don't know my mom bought it for me. Oh my gosh. This is walmart ew ew get away from us before. You infect us with your poverty. Who cares if it's from walmart, it's nice? You said it yourself that was before i knew it was from walmart. Thank god. I have rich parents. Uh, excuse me: girls, uh, regina, your parents called they left a letter that i guess you're gon na be staying at christie's again this weekend. I guess they extended their trip in cancun, so they won't be here. What but mature finales this weekend, yeah that's unfortunate um. They did leave some money for you, i guess so you can buy food and some hot pockets. You see regina, there's more things to life than just money and dresses like family, like having your parents there for an event like friends who, like you for you and not for what you can buy them well, at least i'm not ugly, like you, and i have Beautiful hair that you'll never have hey here comes ryan: hey girls, hey regina, hi brian. I like your haircut. Thank you uh, hey regina. Can i ask you something of course ask away um who's. Your new friend here wait. What hello? My name is mindy. I just moved here from louisiana, oh nice, to meet you, brittany, hey do you want to go, have lunch together, we have a free spot on our table. Wait what i would love that wait! Brian! I thought you were going to ask me to eat lunch with you, i'm obviously the prettier one out of the girls. No, i think brittany's the prettier one in the group. You know, then, sarah, if anything, you're last. Oh, please, there's no way you're putting sarah. Above me, sarah's hideous hey, do you have room for one more, only one more sarah. Would you like to join us sure, i'd love to awesome, follow me um, actually i'll be there in a sec, sounds good, we'll just be over there at least i'm still rich. You know regina, there are some things money can't buy like parents being there for their kids, like having friends that love you and they stick by your side, and i guess now you know that money can't buy love so have fun. Thinking about that, when you're sitting there alone at lunch today, have you ever been embarrassed or ashamed of your heritage or where you come from, i can speak from personal experience when i was first going to school in this country. I didn't speak english and i remember feeling embarrassed about who i was and being hispanic and people would make fun of me kind of thing, or maybe i saw i thought, but you know instagram nowadays in social media they do a really good job of convincing you That this other side is cooler that being over here is cooler, and you know there's that old, saying the grass is greener on the other side. Well, i'm here to tell you that the grass is greener on the side that you, water, the most so be proud of who you are and be proud of, where you come from and be proud of, your culture and your heritage. I hope you guys enjoyed today's life lesson with luis make sure to like and subscribe to this channel, so you get notified every time we release a new video and, as always, make sure to share this with someone that you love

Life Lessons With Luis: Be Honest…… HAVE YOU EVER WISHED YOU WERE SOMEBODY ELSE???? It’s important that we learn to love ourselves and be proud of who we are and where we come from

The Tribal God: Every hair has it's own natural beauty, whether you're african american or white never judge other's hairstyles

Joel Ramos: Never make fun of other people for their skin color we might have different colors but we're all human and treat everyone the way you want to be treated

Tyrick Sly: You should never judge people by the color of their skin & never judge a book by it’s cover, thanks for this video Luis. ❤

Aparajita K: Initially the girl says her name is Vienna while she's introducing herself to the girls.. then the name switches to Brittany But nonetheless, a very important message conveyed. Embrace yourself the way you are.

suganya s: why would you want to fit in when you are born to stand out ! this is my most favorite line of this whole short film ! casting is just amazing and each and everyone fits in their role perfectly ! thank u so much for this fantastic film Luis and I feel so proud about myself !!!

Kourtney: I am proud and to be born as a young black women ✊✊✊

Mark Lebowitz: I don't understand why certain people find it necessary to try to make black girls self-conscious about their hair. I was attending a party where I spotted a friend of mine, who happens to be black, and went over to say hi. She was talking to a white woman (an acquaintance of hers, I presumed) who seemed unduly concerned about her (my friend's) young daughter's hair. I overheard her asking if there was ANYTHING that could be done to straighten it, to which my friend answered that for her daughter to have straight hair, it would take a wig or chemicals. I was watching my friend's adorable daughter, playing with her brother like any healthy 3-year-old should, oblivious to the adults conversing, and I was horrified by the idea of putting chemicals on this little girl's head. I turned to the women and said, "Why can't she be beautiful just the way she is?" My friend thanked me.

Gregory Drakes: Morals of the story: 1. Be proud of who you are and where you come from. 2. True beauty is found on the inside, not the outside. It makes no sense having a pretty face and a bad attitude. 3. Being rich is not everything as money cannot buy everything.

All Things Sha: High school can be harsh. So glad that chapter is over. I’m glad she listened to her mom and embraced who she was but seriously high school hard.

Silvia Jacob: Years ago I went shopping with my daughters their friend and my nephew. You see as a German woman with dark brown hair and light blue eyes, I had an interesting assortment of kids with me. My eldest daughter with light brown hair and dark brown eyes, her friend with Black hair and Black eyes (Iranian), my younger daughter a blonde with brown eyes and my nephew, - dark skinned with curly Black hair (his father is from Africa). I could feel the thougts of the passers by. "This woman has an interesting life" would be the nicest thought. I have always embraced people the way they are because it is on the inside what matters. By the way, those kids are now beautiful and compassionate adults.

EpicPlayz: I’m honestly impressed by the time and effort you put into these videos, Keep it up!

Xavier: As a half black individual, I'm happy to see this amazing message Luis put out there

Nikki G: Thank you Luis for another great video. My favorite part was what the Mom said and showed her daughter. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and shades. Good for Brittany for standing up for herself.

Life with Kennede: This is going to be a great video!! We should all be treated equally, we are all human.

laura72: As long as i have been watching your videos Luis i never thought of you as a Hispanic -- I thought of you as great guy with good videos with good lessons to learn. Everyone matters in this world -- white, black, brown or yellow -- we all bleed the same color we all laugh and cry etc. MOST IMPORTANT GOD LOVES US ALL THE SAME!

Patty Williams: Booyaw! The rich girl learned that her parents being rich was all that she had going for her and that wasn’t her achievement. It takes a good and kind heart to be beautiful and liked. Seeing the beauty in each other’s differences is maturity and is a trait to be proud of. Thank you so much for this really cool video, Luis!!!

LeDell Williams: Every culture in America in the world have their own standard of beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and embracing your culture is the best thing you can ever do for your life. I've always felt out-of-place with my own culture because of the way I speak

Priyanshu Pokhriyal: At the last, we all are humans & no one is 'inferior' or 'superior'! Thanks Luis for this video to educate these people who still think that.

*DeMoCrA*: A person can be made fun of even if their hair look nice and if they're clean and take care of themselves, some of the bullies don't always care what a person look like, they're still gonna say what they want and eventually get themselves into trouble if they keep it up

Sheila Gallegos: OMG!! This video was awesome and yes BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL and you should always be proud of who you are . Never make fun of ppl cause of their skin color . Treat people they way you want yo be treated ok. Be KIND AND RESPECTFUL of others . Great video Luis keep them coming .

Faisal H.: Hi Luis, I am Fantastically happy with your life lesson as always. Man you are brilliant and know the meaning of life and I am really impressed with your amazing achievements. Thanks for sharing this cool episode that i enjoyed watching. God bless you my brother !!

Kyla Sird: Don't ever make fun of people's skin color or hair because you never know what they're going through they might really want to be friends with you and thinking that you're nice but actually you're a bully ♥️

Zachariah Laryea: Man, that's something. The way Brtney's mom gave that conversation to her was inspiring. And Luis makes an appearance in this. This is something.

Candace Rodriguez: Yes, of course, I went through phases. I wanted to be something other than white. I had racists family members and had so much spite towards them that it made me so unhappy with myself. Also, I just found other races and cultures more appealing and beautiful. Now as an adult, I am happy with myself and find beauty in all races and cultures.

Norman Antiporda: Thank you for reminding us of these valuable life lessons, Luis! All love, my bro.

Jasbir Taak: I think people should keep their fact to their self no fence to them like never make fun of their skin colour and way they look what god make up you should be happy everyone equal end of the day we are all human people should not be treated like that at all. I feel so sorry black girl she just start the school then she got bullying like that was meanful . They make fun of the clothes and what brand it is end of the day at least she got clothes on. I glad she spoke up people should be brave and stop the bullying and black girl was right what she said I alway think black women always beautiful

Youngdaggerdick: "Why do you wanna fit in when you were born to stand out" Thats a solid statement right there.

Ur mommmmm: This guy deserves to hit a million subscribers. He should have hit it a long time ago. Love your videos ❤️

Eugene Lau: Enough with the racial discrimination and bullying the girl regarding her hair. Accepting her as an equal will be better than having a judgemental look!!

Mz Vetta: Never Judge Someone's Outer Appearance... We All May Not Look The Same, But We Are All Human Beings With Feelings! So Pls, By All Means; Be Respectful & Kind To Others

Official QueenT: People at school were picking on my hair and saying I like to wear "wigs", I begged my mom to get it straightened and I did. When I went to school I tried to fit in, but they were fake friends and not really fit for me and would talk about me behind my back, etc. Then that's when I figured out that black is beautiful and no matter how much I wear " wigs" I shouldn't be ashamed of my braids. Love where you come from!

AJ1: I understand her pain exactly, I deal with this everyday.

Ana Padilla: Love the story been following you for two years now and I love your stories. Speaks out how life is. This story touch my heart cause I am with a woman who’s black and we always have criticism. Thanks for the story. Also can you do a story of lesbian or gay couples?

Lynne Johnston: We should never judge anyone by the colour of their skin or where they come from . and it is true what the old saying goes you should never judge a book by its cover another fantastic video from Life Lessons with Luis.. can we all take the time out to appreciate all the hard work that Life Lessons with Luis doe's in making all these videos percent in all your videos.we just can't thank you enough for doing all these wonderful videos

Kawthar: Never make fun of other people's skin colour amazing video Luis hopefully by the end of this month you'll reach 1 million subscribers

ROBERT Smith: Great lesson in this video, I liked your speech at the end of the video, sorry you had to go through that from people, theirs just bad people out there

Your Witch Besti: When she said “ thank god I have rich parents “ right behind her I said “ thank god I have decent parents “

WHITSWAGWATERMELON🍉😏: This is such a good lesson it teaches us so much

Meggie Music: I've had so many people tell me you can't be racist to white people...when people are racist towards me and lots of them are white. I also hate how people just assume all white people are bad and think we are all racist when we aren't all like that. AND YES Black is Beautiful!!

シRocky: It made me angry when those girls judged on Vienna/Britney's "boy" clothes like clothes have no gender. That kinda hit me close to home. It's honestly better to just be yourself and not like the others. We don't need carbon copies of the "IT" girl because everyone is their own superstar.

Nadiya Larry: I am really amazed by this video and how much effort you put into it.

Heather Pierce: Excellent video! Nobody should ever be ashamed of who they are, or where they're from.❤️

Ym Doll: “You don’t worry about fitting in, when you’re custom made.” ✨ Yes Black Is Beautiful Thank you for this positive message

Bro. Woodward: Luis,Brother, that was outstanding topic on how we need to love who we are regardless of others hate and dislike, I understand as for I am of mixed race and it was always very hard to fit in. So thank God for life lessons and Luis. So proud of the work you're doing gente. Keep up the great content your creating and the realness of your channel. Much blessings and love to You and the entire cast and crew of #lifelessionswithluis.

Laura Shane: Well excuse her. You know it's very much possible she just didn't know what to do with her hair or how to take care of it. I'm not black, but I do have medium thick curly hair, and I didn't know how to take care of it or what to do with it for years. There's still some things I'm trying to figure out even now, and that was a long time ago when I couldn't take care of my hair when it was long.

Nothsaw: “True beauty come from within” -Life Lessons with Luis 2022

Savannah kuckartz: Thank you so much Luis for posting amazing content You rock

asriel wimberly: AHHHH! Her hair looks like mineeee!! I feel so confident now! For years I’ve always wanted “white hair” (not to be offensive I know black ppl can have that kind of hair too.) but then, I saw natural hair becoming more popular and I felt more confident and comfortable wearing my natural hair. I started wearing it in school worried I was gonna get bullied but I got so many compliments! Just a reminder to never feel insecure or suppress the real you! <3 EDIT: So many people want our features now tho it’s kinda tiring. (lips, hair, etc).

Pexie: I have natural curly hair and it was my old insecurity when I was in middle school, all of the girls used to make fun of me and gave me dirty looks. I’ve spent tons of money making treatment and it fried my hair Now, I discovered that curly hair is now a fashion trend and my bullies wasted their time curling their hair to look like one of the models

UG The Vyonder: Never make Fun of someone's skin color, god made us who we are

Maggie G: @ Luis When I moved from PA to FL, I worked as a waitress, The “busboys”- men corrected my Spanish kindly. I got the opportunity to go on a medical missionary trip to Costa Rica. I studied medical Spanish before I left & while there was always an interpreter available, they said I did well & good. It’s one of the best things I ever learned- far mor useful than algebra- my nemesis. All I needed was desired/ have x volume.

Superdragon: My dad took me to a big block party in 2016. I was wearing a leather jacket with skulls, flames and electric guitars and black jeans with sunglasses, but when the other party guests saw me, they got mad! They said that dressing like I play in a heavy metal band was a “disgrace to the black family”. None of the partygoers were white!

Superdragon: My dad took me to a big block party in 2016. They said that dressing like I play in a heavy metal band was a “disgrace to the black family”. None of the partygoers were white!

itz_bri: As a black girl who has a lot of friends that are white they always comfort me and say that your skin is beatiful and saying they wish they had hair like mine makes me so happy

April Hernandez: Today a girl made fun of me for my shoes I love them! And she said "let's not start with the same shoes you wear every day" I've only were them since March. But I ignored her because I know that "you don't need to change anything you love to inspire others." ❤️

Amanda Austin: Be yourselves, people! Don't ever change for the in-crowd. They're nothing but a bunch of bullies. They're scared of people who are different.

Yousur Ali: Everyone is beautiful inside and out. Even if it’s color, shapes, sizes, we’re all beautiful just the way we are in our own way.

DELORES SMITH-JOHNSON: Black comes in many shades. It's beautiful. Never make fun of another person's heritage or culture. Being rich is insignificant, money don't buy love and being pretty on the outside doesn't make you pretty, it makes you superficial. Real beauty comes from within.

Vanessa Vieux: You should never judge by the color of their skin you should never judge a book by it's cover have a great day have a cool day life lessons with Luis

Jana Buchheit: All humans are beautiful... beauty is only skin deep. It won't carry you through life, treating someone else because of your insecurities normally creates bullies.

Ebyen M: Never make of people's hair because you should treat the way you wanna be treated to your body. Never judge about how much money they have. Believe in yourself. Don make people get to you.

Parker Does stuff: I love this video being different is what makes you Beautiful ☺️ thanks!! For the vid keep it up.

Space Nugget: As a black girl who grew up in a prevalently white country, these questions were asked to me on a daily basis. "Why is your hair like that?" "You're not pretty like us" and all types of things. I used to straighten my hair all the time just to fit it, I'd still get mocked for all my features tho. Growing up I started seeing beautiful I am and how there is no real standard beauty, everyone us beautiful even if we're all so different! And it's true Luis, black is beautiful thanks for this video :)

Gia🎨: I love this guy he has such good messages and beautiful story lines he is good and he puts his time and effort making these videos
