Caroline Larsson: You shouldn't ever put conditioner on your roots or scalp. Your roots get oily faster, and putting conditioner on them will only make your roots get oily faster, and will eventually build up and make them look oily all the time. Only put conditioner from 1/4 of the way down and to the ends. If you have a problem with dry scalp, and that is why you ask, there are products specifically for that.
