All right everybody take your seats class is about to begin its time to start curly, hair 101. What everyone I'm beyond grenade you watching beyond grenades today and today, I'm going to break it down with everything you need to know about curly hair. If you are someone that is new to the curly hair world, meaning you're transitioning, don't really know to do this videos for you, if you're a girl that just unfortunately hates her curly hair, because she doesn't know how to take care of it. This video is for you if you are a mom or dad of a mixed child, and you just don't know what to do with all this new curl. This video is for you now. If you're one of my loyal subscribers, you should know everything I'm about to say in this video because you've already graduated from curling hair, 101 and you've moved on to curly hair 405, we're still trying to figure out porosity and protein hair treatments. We'Re not gon na. Go that deep today, today's just going to be all the basic things that you need to know in order to start your curly hair journey. The first thing you to know is what type of curly hair do you have? Yes, it is broken into type two, a B or C type, 3a, 3b, 3c or type 4a, 4b. 4C. But that's a little bit complicated. If you want to know about that, you can watch my full video on how to figure out your hair type, but the main thing that I want you to know right now at this level is if your hair is wavy like big curls loose curls, or is It like mine to where you have these curly little ringlets, or is it even tighter and thicker than my hair to where it's more like an afro type texture once you figure that out it'll make it a lot easier for you to find product that will work For you and your hair type now, if you have the wavy, looser curls, you're, probably gon na want lightweight products, may be something like a mousse. If you have hair like mine, you could get away with both mousse or cream, but you also could use a gel. It really just depends on the porosity of your hair, which is the whole other video that you could try to tackle if you think you're ready. But if your hair is very coarse and thick and very tight, curly hair, you really need thick creamy products to really get into that hair and give it some moisture. Now, let's go on to the more generic curly hair things you should be doing. If you have curly hair, you should not be washing your hair every day. I know this was news to me too, back in middle school in high school, I wash my hair every single day with shampoo and conditioner thinking that that's what I had to do, because my curls will just be frizzy the next day. If I didn't so that's what I did for years and then I realized and learn we're not supposed to do that, our hair is so cool that we don't even have to wash it every day. Honestly, I have not washed my hair in three days and I probably can go three more days without washing my hair and I'll still look bomb-diggity. So if you love curly hair or your kids have curly hair, it is best to make sure that you have some good products, so their hair looks fabulous on day one and then on day. Two is the day that you're going to just refresh them. You don't want to wash them again with shampoo and conditioner, just spritz them with some water, add a little bit more product and then your curls will just revive themselves once you're done, washing your hair with your sulfate free and silicone free, shampoo and conditioner. You do not want to dry it using a regular cotton towel if you dry your hair with the towel, it's going to create frizz. So do not do that actually does get a cotton t-shirt and dry your hair with the t-shirt. Instead, you could invest in a microfiber towel that also works great, but you don't want to use anything. That'S going to get your hair and type of friction, because that will cause frizz before you even started putting in your styling products. It is also best to apply the styling products, while your hair is still at least damp, if not soaking wet. The next thing you need to know in order to have your curls last throughout the week, is how you sleep in them. You can't just go to sleep all willy-nilly, like you have straight hair, we have some rules. Okay, so if you have curly hair, it is best to sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase. That way, your hair is just rolling around on the satin and it's not creating any friction like I would with a cotton pillowcase, and that way you don't get as much frizz when you wake up in the morning, besides sleeping on a satin pillowcase, you also want To put your hair up in a pineapple, and I've heard the word pineapple in the kernel hair community, you might be thinking like. Why are all these curly girls like obsessed with pineapples? Let me tell you, I don't have an obsession or anything. So pineapple is just the name of the hairstyle when you put all of your hair on the very top of your head. So let me demonstrate for you so you're gon na grab all of your hair and you're gon na bring it to the front of your head just like so then you're gon na get a scrunchie and you just put it around one time. So you don't want to be like as tight as a ponytail just one time and let it flop over. Not only is it a fabulous hairstyle. This is how you should be sleeping, because now your curls are protected on the top of your head. So when you sleep, your curls are not being disturbed by your pillowcase or anything, but the best part is once you take it down in the morning. Poop, your curls are good as new pulling your hair back into a ponytail is going to make all this part really straight and look little extra ugly in the morning. But then, when all your curls are just put up, then they fall back down right in to place. Now back when I did cut off majority of my hair, my hair was too short to put my hair into a pineapple. So if you are in that stage where hair is just too short for a pineapple, definitely sleep on a satin pillowcase or invest in a satin bonnet moving right along. Let'S talk about hair products, it is so important for you to find curly hair products that work for your hair. If you wake up in the morning - and you just apply water or like coconut oil and then you're mad, that your hair is frizzy like you - have no right to be mad because you're, not using products that are claiming to tame frizz, coconut oil does not get Rid of frizz water does not get rid of frizz, and neither does leave-in conditioners. You need actual styling products that will actually say fights, frizz or frizz controlling or curl definition, curl, defining right on the bottle. I'M a full video with all of my favorite curly hair products, and I definitely recommend that you guys try at least one of these products. The next thing I want you guys to do is especially if you are transitioning and trying to get your curl pattern back, or maybe you have some straight straggler pieces that just aren't curling. You need to revive your curls by doing a deep conditioning treatment once a week. If I had a dollar for every time, I told the to somebody, I would literally be rich. It'S gotten so bad that on my phone in the little like text suggestion if I type in deep condition, it suggests once a week like that's how often I'm telling people to do this. It is so important to keep our curls moisturize and when you use a deep conditioner, which is different than a regular conditioner, you leave it on your hair for 20 minutes just once a week, and then you rinse it out that gives your hair a good little Spa day to really soak up all the nutrients, it needs to be shiny, bouncy and healthy. I also have a full video on all my favorite deep conditioners, so please check out that video and try one of those and really commit to doing it once a week. But if you're one of those transitioners that has those long straight straggler pieces that just are not curling anymore, you need to cut it. So many girls hold on to those long straight pieces because they want their length and they think long hair is better. But look I don't understand, while you rather have long ugly, hair versus short, beautiful, healthy hair like I just I just will never understand that cutting off any dead damaged ends is so important. It'Ll also make your hair grow faster and just really look a million times better. So those are the most important things I think you should know as a curly girl, guy or parent a curly kid, and I really hope that you implement all of these things, because they would definitely make a difference in how your curls look or how you feel About your curly hair, it is so important to love and embrace the natural hair that is growing out of your head and if you fight it every day, you're going to be miserable. So I am here to help with any tips and tricks that I can possibly give you to make. You realize how amazing your curly hair is. It literally breaks my heart when I hear people say that they hate their curly hair or they don't like it or it's too big, or they don't know what to do with it like. If you have any other curly questions go ahead and leave a comment. I really want my comment section to be a place where we all can give our own tips and tricks and help each other out with our curly hair journeys. But I also have an entire curly hair playlist, with full detailed videos on pretty much everything you need to know about curly hair, so go ahead and Bend watch my entire channel and I'm sure you'll learn a thing or two. twocrowsinatrenchcoat: I’m 19 and my hair has been curly for almost 10 years. No one else in my family has natural curls, and while they tried to help I only ever got half answers. In 9 minutes you explained how and why I need to do these things and I’m so thankful for the help. I just wish I hadn’t taken a decade to finally tackle the mess that is my hair.

sim castro: Holy moly. As a mixed race, curly haired guy, NOBODY HAS EVER TAUGHT ME THIS STUFF! Thanks so much! This was INSANELY helpful! You da best! :)

Latih K: OMG thank you! My boyfriend is mixed and he decided to grow his hair out 2-3 years ago and now it's pretty long. I tried telling him how to take care of his hair because I have sisters who are mixed and I would watch my step mama do their hair. Anyways he didnt listen to me and he would just wash it, brush it, throw it in a ponytail and put a durag on it and wouldn't touch it for weeks. Today he tried washing and brushing his hair and ended up getting it super tangled. So I had to sit him down, turn on your videos and start detangling his hair while he watched and listen to your videos. You are a life saver!

Paige Ford: I have graduated Curly Hair University! I got my bachelors and masters degree in Curl health and curl definition! I studied how sulfates, silicones, parabens and all that bad stuff can make your hair . I also learned how to get maximum definition and hold with curly hair products! I am getting my PhD in Curly hair growth because I want really long, really curly, and really thick and defined curly hair! Like this comment if you have graduated or are still working on your degree! (You can like if you are a under-graduate to though or not even in “Curly Hair University”!

Juana de Arco: Bianca, it took me 40 years to understand how beautiful is my curly hair, to embrace it and now to love it! Girl, this community you have build is so powerful, energetic, positive. We should embrace what we are, acknowledge our own black beauty! thank you for what you do!

jtschuman77: I recently decided to embrace my naturally curly hair instead of slapping it in a ponytail & clinging to my wallet. FYI thank you both for the 10 conditioners under $10 video! I actually started liking my hair more once I figured out the curls meant no washing daily & no more brushing. Thanks to you & Curly Penny for all the great tips.

Midd: Great tips, Bianca! Been natural for years and I'm still learning what my hair likes/dislikes. I have 3 hair types that sprout outta my head so it's a struggle sometimes but I'm refusing to go back to relaxers.

othababy: Thank you! I am transitioning from years of curly perming to my natural curls. Your presentations are so light hearted and uplifting, funny even, but always informative;-)). Love it!

FashionSense518: I tried the pineapple method once and it was not the best overnight method for my hair. I find that the pineapple works for looser, not as thick, type 3 A-ish curls.

Joyce Almeida: I always binge watch your channel. i am in transition right now and completely done with heat and you have made this process of getting healthy hair so much more attainable and feel like it is actually possible to get healthy and moisturized curls. I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU AND YOUR CHANNEL!! keep posting girl <3

Amber Tanielle Murdoch: I have been on my curly hair journey for about 2 month but this was still super informative! Thank you☺️☺️

EvaDoubleMama: Yep, I am one of your parents! And I watch your videos and you literally saved my daughters hair! I follow all your advice and her hair is just popping! Sometimes I just can't stop looking at her! So- thank you! Thank you very much and keep them coming!! God bless!

Lucas Liam: Notes: -Don’t wash hair with shampoo/conditioner everyday -don’t dry with cotton towel, use microfiber/t shirt -apply styling product to wet/damp hair -use satin pillowcase -use styling products that actually fight frizz -do deep conditioning once a week -cut hair to get rid of stragglers Thanks a million

Heidy Nadal: I would also say it is important to "Listen" to your hair. Some days you will need to add more product that what you usually use and others a lot less.

Ashley Nicole: Thank you! Bout to show this to my mom for my little sister! They look at me like I’m crazy when I say all this.

Lisa: After watching some of your older videos I'm just amazed by how good your curls look now. The length, the cut, the color, less highlights, everything. Perfection girl!

Angelia Irizarry: Bingeing on videos tonight. I just want to thank you for putting out so much information. I was one of those who HATED their hair because I had no idea what to do with it in it's natural state. My mother keeps telling me how nice it looks and how happy she is I finally learned how to take care of it because I was looking like Don King. *her words* Thank you Ms Bianca! Keep doing what you do! Looking forward to seeing you hit the million mark. You so deserve it!

Mel the Unicorn: I used to hate my curly hair, but when I started watching your (and a few other’s) videos, I saw how beautiful and unique it could be. I still have so much to learn but thanks to your videos I’ll get there. Luv ya!

Ruby Polanco: I’m not in curly hair 101 anymore but I need to tell you how much I appreciate your videos. You are the reason I went natural and heat free nearly a year ago. I look so different than I used to and I love my hair now! Is it possible to have a bad curly hair day???? I’ve tried a lot of your suggestions and most of them work for me. I started using sulfate free shampoo and more specificity Castile soap to cleanse my scalp and I LOVE IT. I can only use a very tiny amount though. Like a teaspoon for my whole head. Have you ever tried Castile soap for shampoo?

Rosanna Borbon: Thank you Bianca Reene for helping the curl world with this helpful tips...

Carol Harper: Thank you for your tips.  I didn't know I had curly hair until I took my perm out. Now I protect my hair by using a deep conditioner and I have seen a big difference. Love this video.

Keila Anderson: Thank you so much for all of your guidance on curly hair and recommended products. You mentioned sleeping in this video. My curls “struggle” with any type of manipulation on the day of the wash and definitely the days to follow. What advice would you give to someone who has a loser wavier curl pattern and their hair becomes straight with any form of manipulation?

Alatus: Satin pillowcases are awesome - I agree! Most curly hair products absorb best with soaking wet hair. You should hear a “wet sneaker” or sloshing-type sound when you scrunch up your hair while applying product. Definitely helps with definition. If I apply product to even slightly drier hair, my curls aren’t as defined.

Neko Martinez: Amazing info! I love your videos, but please bear in mind that kinky/coily hair doesnt have to be thicker than yours, or thick at all. Lots of people with type 4 hair have really thin hair, but because of the way their coils come together, it might look really thick. I'm in the type 3 range, but my boyfriend is a 4A and his hair is super thin, especially compared to mine.

Leona Higgs: When I was in preschool and my hair was shorter, my curls were gorgeous and amazing. They were healthy. Ever since I took care of my hair since 4th grade, its been straight. I use to brush my hair every single day! Now, I'm trying to take care and embrace my curls!

Ruby Pyke: **laying in bed with hair down and a cotton pillow case**

In Liquid Color: You're absolutely adorable and I cant wait to get through more of your playlist. So excited to have found you at the beginning of my curly journey :)

Aïda Hassar: Went back to natural short wavy 6 months ago (after a lifetime of long straightened hair) and I only swear by your videos and your tips. Your videos are the best! From Montreal with love! <3

naomi: I love how you can explain everything simply and easily for the beginners. I also have a question, my hair is really defined at the ends but it’s wavy when going up to the root of my hair. What should I do, any suggestions? Thank you I love you channel so much!!!

Sabreena: I truly believe your videos have saved my sanity! I just have been having such a hard time with my mixed child's hair!! I just want her to feel beautiful and confident with her hair! she has curls little bit more lose then yours. I just started watching today but I will be applying your advice by the end of the day! thanks again!!

Walki Garcia: Thank you for those great tips im new on the curly family im started my transition 4 months ago and i still working on how to understand my hair and what it work and how should i treat it i really like all your videos and your advice thank you so much you make a big difference in my journey

Stephanie Wong: You are fantastic! I definitely enjoy learning how to manage my curls with you!

psr076: Great video for newbie to natural hair

Gabi Maza: I love your sense of humor and how informative you are ☺️ wish I had found this channel years ago. So so helpful

ASM Movies: For me, I swim six days a week so the chlorine doesn't do hot stuff for my hair. Keeping my hair in braids and finding out the chlorine afterwards is really helpful

Kimberley T: this, always something more to learn in this curly hair journey

Jeanie Shank: I recently learned my hair is curly. I had no idea… it waves in moist air but apparently it will do more! Thank you so much! Subscribed and I’ll be buying stuff to fix it and getting a good cut

R BRojas: My sister has the most beautiful 3B-3C hair and it's just soul crushing whenever she says she hates her hair and just wants to SHAVE the whole thing off! I've decided to take over her curl care, starting with sulphate free+silicone free hair products. Going straight to your favourite products to find what sulphate/silicone free friz-control products there are out there.

Stasha Gindra: Thank you - I just started my curly journey - Falling in love for the first time with my natural curls #embraceyournaturalcurls

Cynthia M: For someone who has a lot of frizz and 3b curls, this video was super helpful. Ever since I heard about how you’re not supposed to use a towel to dry your hair, I’ve been using a regular t-shirt for years. I recently bough my first microfiber turban-towel and as soon as I got out the shower I wrapped it up and I kid you not, not even 5-10 minutes after I took it out my soaking wet hair was 80%dry! Amazing because my hair usually takes hours to dry! No more dripping wet hair getting in the way of my styling and getting all over my body and floor post-shower! The microfiber towel is a game changer for hairstyling and I am never going back!!!

Kazani Hoo Kim: Always giving great advice!

Merchon Hargrave: Shout out to the straight haired parents trying to figure out their curly haired kids! Bianca you have taught me so much, thank you!

Laura Peguero: I just wanted to say thank u! I myself have straight hair and Husband has curly hair but buzzes it off but of course our 5 year old has a full head of beautiful curly hair. I had no idea how to care for her hair and randomly found your video. So thank you she can no go into kindergarten with beautiful hair and not looking a mess.

Emily Ross: You are literally the best! I love watching your video's to help with my curls! Keep it up girl!!!

Angela: I am loving your videos! Omg I wish my curls would do what yours do! But I definitely learned something from this one. I think I have been doing it all wrong this whole time lol I wish I could be your guinea pig so you could do my hair! :)

Kathleen: i got a perm and these videos helped so much. i’ve always loved curly hair so i got a perm and knew you needed to take care of it differently but this has helped so much! thank you!

Ebony Wells: Thank you for sharing. This was so informative. You are helping so many curly haired people.

Sharmee Divan: I am close to being 100% curly girl for almost a year. You and India have been a great contribution to my journey. I love you

Renew Your Mind: I've been doing an egg mask twice per week with a few different oils and that is doing wonders for my hair!!!

Own Your Beauty: Straight to the point. Love it!!

Aleja Stoic: I didnt hear the most important rule. Brush your hair JUST when is damp. No one ever told me growing up, and I had no idea until a couple of weeks ago. :( I have always brushed my curls. :(

Enhydiaries: I’m learning from you and itscurlypenny and I am transitioning and my mom is the best but she doesn’t really know what to do with my hair so I’m here listening and I’m gonna try everything I can do to get my curls back I was looking at my baby pictures and my curls were so cute I don’t even remember the last time I saw my good curls

Nick d: Thank you so much for your videos :) I have very curly ,frizzy, tangled and unmanageable hair. From your other videos I got to know that products that are silicon ,sulfate and paraben are bad. And according to brands names you guys showed I have only Palmer's and OGX brands available in my country. I am from a tropical Island in Asia where humidity is really high. You have mentioned in this video that coconut oil products are bad. So does that mean I have to only stick with OGX brand. Currently I am using Palmer's coconut oil hair products. And it looks really dry :/

Paulie Rogers: I have been made fun of almost all of my life... Because of my hair was so curly and frizzy... But I started watching a couple of videos yours and one or two others. Wow am beginning to love my hair. Thanks for your video

Lyla P: So many curly girls have no idea how to manage their curls and this video is amazing! Will be sharing this with all my curly friends love you Bianca! Preach girl!

positivelypinky: It’s all about trial and error guys. I personally don’t refresh, I cannot spritz my hair with water the next day lol

priyajfit: I transitioned three years ago. Wish I found you then!! Some of these tips I didn’t even know!

Ruth Foxe: I loved the video. Everything you said was absolutely correct. As usual you are beautiful.

Catie F: Thank you for the video. I've just recently started thinking about trying to take care of that "crazy curl" by hair has. My mom has pencil straight hair while my curl came from my dad (whose hair is curly enough to wear a small fro). I think I might be a 3A, that's what my hair looks like while its wet before I do anything to it. Just a comment about washing hair every day for straight hair. According to my mother, that's bad to do it everyday for any type. She has healthy looking hair that she's grown long (like 2+ feet) and she only washes once every two weeks, a rinse with just water in between. She says the trick is when brushing to make sure you spread your natural oils from the roots to the rest of your hair.

Ma Fa: How doesn't she already have 1 Mio. Subs

Bryna J. Wills: Your vlogs are awesome! Frist time that it's actually fun to watch and listen to a vlogger. Also very handy tips for those stubborn curls!! Thanks and keep up the good work!!!!

aaliya bedneau: I started deep conditioning my hair with Deva Curl Melt into Moisture but after I’ve kept it on for a while with my hot head(thanks to you) I wash it out but my hair feels weird it doesn’t feel right. I feel like it should feel nice and smooth after but it just doesn’t. Any advice ? Maybe my hair doesn’t like that deep conditioner ?

Samantha Floridia: Love it!!! Your curls look great!!

Karolyn Hernandez: I have gone thru so many stages with my hair since elementary, lol. Wanting it straight cus there were barely any girls with curly hair, then washing my hair everyday from all the product I was putting into it to tame the beast lol, to keeping it in a bun throughout all high school, to dyeing it and chopping it and letting it grow to where I am right now, I love my curls and I know how to take care of them. I wish I knew then what I know now. This journey would’ve been so much easier lol. But thanks for making these videos for people to learn. You are awesome! My wife is always asking me who am I watching on Snapchat and I always say my hair twin cus we seriously have the same hair. ☺️

Stefhanie Lamb: thank you. im 26 and no one ever helped me with how to deal with my hair. last year i chopped my hair off above my shoulder to a cute bob and stopped using heat so i have my old natural curls. now that i havent worked due to my health in a year i havent used any heat so my hair is below my shoulder and super wavy curly so im trying to learn how to tame or define my curls. this helps. im watching plenty of videos. i just got a job and am getting back into working so i need to figure out what to do with this lions nest i have going on. lol thanks

jasmine pearl: wow u have already helped a ton w other videos. i had no idea i was doing my hair wrong this whole time!! but thank you so much u make me love my hair more!

Julia Arnold: Just a tip for people with thin hair. When you pineapple you don't need to wrap the scrunchy more then once just take 2-4 small prices of hair around the ponytail and bobby pin them just next to the scrunchy to anchor it in place

Roseangelie Figueroa: beautiful curls and love your earrings!! I'm type 3a,low porosity and medium structure❤

Daniela Perez: I wish I knew of this tricks to take care of my curly hair as a kid. Back then I struggled so much to love my curly hair I would do so many things to make sure that my hair wasn't curly and because of that I had to cut my hair really short. So the years went by and I still hated my curls with a passion but, I came across one of your big chop videos and I liked your personality and the way you really love your hair and embraced it. Then I peeped on watching some more of your videos that I subscribed to your channel. I thank your for being you and teaching me how to love and take care of my hair. If it wasn't for me watching your videos I don't know what would have become of my hair. keep it up and never stop making videos love them.

Patriang Lembert: As always great job!

Angelikrz: Amazing video like always! Legit wish this video came out when i first started my curl journey lol.

Day: #snapfam been watching your videos for a few yrs and I have to say through watching your videos you have helped me to love and appreciate my curls

Cynthia Nations: Love this. My daughter has three different types of hair. The top of her doesn't curl like the rest. She's got tight curls on the sides. What do I do with the top so it matches the sides?

Esther Andrade: Hi Bianca, great video. I've been follow you for a while and watching a loooot of videos because Im transitiong after straightening my hair for more the 20 years. I still cant tell my curly hair type and im veeery afraid to cut it short to get rid of the straight ends. My question is: are aaaallll the curly hair manageable? Or are those ones which you cant deal at all? I feel like I will never learn how to style my curly hair and feel beautiful with it!!! any advicesss???thanks

Magdeley: Love these tips

Rhilee Weideman: hi! I am just starting my curly journey, and I had a few questions. So I have fairly straight hair on the top portion of my head, but very wavy hair underneath, and if I don't brush it, it will even start to spiral. Over the past year or so it has gotten more and more wavy, especially on a wash day, but only on the bottom! I wish I could get the top of my head to do the same because I dont know what to do with my hair being so different on the bottom and top. I also lack volume at the roots of my hair. Any suggestions? I would appreciate any feedback you could give me. I am going to get a sulfate and silicone free shampoo and conditioner soon, after watching some of your videos, as well as a satin/silk pillowcase. After seeing this video, i will also look into deep conditioner! I really appreciate your channel, your videos are very helpful!

The Boy Who Cried Navy: I AM SO LATE BUT I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR VIDEOS!!!! Can’t wait to binge watch them all!!!!

Sophia Diego: You are definitely hair goals... it’s definitely gonna take me time because curls are expensive.

Alan L.: Your tips are going to be helpful, I'm trying to be a lot more mindful about my curls.

Rostyk Petryshak: Omg this video is awesome. Such a pretty hair❤️❤️❤️ I am Eastern European grew up in the Ukraine where 85% of the people have straight hair so I used to hasaaate my hair , when I was 15 I literally was wishing that I’d go naturally bald so I wouldn’t have to deal with those curls, about a year ago I finally fell in love with my crazy curly hair and decided to grow it out. It’s a long process and I can’t wait for it to be long... this video helps a lot of useful information since I am super new to this but I am excited about this journey and becoming one of the curl friends hehe. Also kind of nervous because I have a LOOOOT of hair and it very very thick but doing the whole curly hair routine sounds very exciting also! And the biggest problem is I have issues with patience and I am scared that I’ll get tired of it and I will just go a get a haircut ‍♂️ because I am gonna be at the “ugly stage” forever I feel like, and also I am not getting any support from friends about it all I hear is you need to cut it it’s ugly it’s awkward etc... but this time I’m so gonna let it grow. I let them cut off my fingers and toes before I let someone touch my hair. Also is it a normal thing when I get very annoyed when someone is trying to touch it? Every single curl is like my baby now . Does it happen to people with curly hair or I am getting too obsessed with my hair?

Joe Quirke: My hair is wavy it was curly but I hated it and it's really damaged from straightening it for years I can't wait for it to become healthy again . This helped me so much thank you for that.

Nia Kamau: I have such a hard time detangling! My hair loves to make knots with two strands that I just have to pull out, and I really feel like it's stunting my growth. I deep condition, use good products, detaingle well , and all that jazz, but when wash day comes, it is not fun. What should I do?

Amorjestic Home Decor with Annette Morris: Wonderful Curly Hair 101 TFS and keep up the good work

oh hell nah: this is soooo helpful thank you sooo much you and curlypenny have saved meeee you both are the best I'm so glad that I've found your channel. Keep doing your amazing work

SOPHII: I had 4 big chops 2016 - 2018 this 4th chop is my last back in Oct. 2018 and very fine curls. My hair is only curly curly when I start my new growth but my curl pattern changes all in one slight curls, wavy, loosen, and straight. My short hair grows fast every 2 weeks and since it's long as afro grows randomly in different weeks. How can I get my curls back and stop my hair growing randomly to stay on the 2 week. schedule routine?

bettyboop: I haven't been really paying attention to my curls lately but this vid was a great reminder thanks so much have a happy and blessed marriage☺

Chao Sung: Hey ive been deep conditioning my hair bc of your videos and have seen great improvement in my hair health and feel! But question, im (gulp) chopping my hair off soon. (I have an undercut and want to regrow everything even) and want to know... what is the minimum length for deep conditioning hair? Is there a point when it's really short? Thanks in advance! :)

effie webb: Thank you for your channel.....now I'm getting my curls back !!!!

meagan0292: I am a mom to a mixed little girl and little boy their hair is so different from one another. Thank you I am starting to understand what to do with their hair!!

Rainbow Bandana Gamin: If you are transitioning to curly hair i would definitely recommend braiding you in simple French or Dutch when you just cant with your hair. I think it is way better then putting in a ponytail or bun do to the breakage that i got sooo much when transitioning into my curls and the braid help keep some texture in because i used to straighten it sooo much too.

Once upon a Dango: I've always had wavy hair and now they look more defined just by scrunching ( I never used heat or straightened em just didn't dry them properly and brushed my hair dry!!) My mum's hair has transitioned to wavy hair from previously straight hair and she hates it and keeps combing her hair because it's "messy" :( .

Elizabeth Jones: I straighten my hair & I get checked out, at least, twice as much. Very noticeably so. I get a blow out & all eyes on me!

M M-Best: This video is literally an eye opener omg thank you!!!!

Rachel Berry-Delapenha: Hi Bianca!! Love the video!! Can you do a video on shedding? I live in NY and have been seeing a lot of shedding since the fall season started. Do you experience this? Any advice?

Cerise Meloncon: I'm transitioning from straight to curly hair, I've blow dried and straightened my hair my whole life, including getting relaxers, and I was told recently that I have more than one curl type, do you have any hair tips for curly hair with more than one curl type? Or do you think my curls will change over time with me not using a straightener anymore?

Tyler Grigsby: oh girl I have been watching every video for the past 2 days since I found your channel! I'm your newest curl friend heyyyy lol. I will say that I haven't cut my hair at all. But in the past 3 years I have been doing 6 months out of the year curly. and my hair has completely changed every year, the curls are more defined and everything. and I JUST am starting to find stuff that works for me! As I am is my brand I swear I need the entire long and luxe line lol

Mercy H: I graduated from this level of info, but you're so entertaining and fun to listen to. I'm an old subie of yours and the info never gets old. Thanks MzBiancaRenee

ALI KHELEF: Hi Bianca...Im transitioning and I love your videos, they are so helpful. I am a Hijabi i.e I wear a scarf therefore I need to put my hair in a bun and I feel like my curls go flat or they get squashed. Do you have any suggestions that could help? Thank you :)

Lory B: I myself am mixed and have a white sister. Surprisingly she's the one with the curls haha. She's 15 now and mom has tried to treat it like straight hair which obviously didn't work out too well. Now all of us have very thick hair and she also has very long hair. I don't live in the same house but I have tried to help a little here and there and look up how to take care of it, now that mom leaves her alone. Does the pineapple still apply for super long hair? Like should she just make a really lose bun? So far we've only focused on moisturising her hair back to life, cutting the bits that just have no hope and looking up what else we can do. I will definitely get my parents to buy her a proper pillowcase and look into more products to help her The biggest issue is hairstyles though. She has a sensitive scalp so tight braids are a no no. I do braid her hair so it doesn't tangle up as much. She definitely still struggles with what she's been told all her life, aka brush it every day.

Bunny: I needed this so much. I’m just going to keep my hair curly and I haven’t been able to get the sleeping things for my hair but the pineapple is working for now
