Um, so i'm using the garnier whole blends, legendary olive oil replenishing shampoo. I really like this shampoo, it's one that i've been using for a while now and, as you can see, i'm actually almost out of it. So i do need to get a new one. This shampoo does have sulfates, so it isn't a curly girl approved product. If that was something that you were looking for, but i do think that it is a great option for myself. It cleanses my scalp and hair really well and it leaves it really soft before i even have to condition. So that's amazing. So all i do is i just rub and massage my scalp before i rinse it and then i go in with a mask. So the mask i'm using is the garnier damage repair hair mask it's a one minute mask, so it's quick and easy in the shower as well as it smells really great, and i only do this about once or once every two weeks and then i actually go In with conditioner, this is optional. You don't have to especially if you're using a mask, but i just like to - and i really like this one again - it's very affordable. It'S like five bucks for that whole size, and it has done a really great job at bringing back moisture to my hair in the shower is about the only time that i will ever really brush my hair. The conditioner just helps a lot with getting the knots out because my hair has so much slip to it, so it's just easier and more convenient for me after i am done my shower. I will actually take the same conditioner that i use the aussie miracle moist and i will just take a small amount and distribute it throughout the midsection and ends of my hair. I'Ve just been doing this even before my curly hair journey, but this is just something i use as a leave-in and yeah. I just always thought that it helped at keeping my hair soft when styling my hair. I prefer my hair to be a little bit more than damp, so i'm just taking a spray bottle just to wet it enough, so that the products can soak in and i feel like it just works better and distributes better. When my hair is a little bit more than damp, i then take my denim brush, and this is something that you should take away if you're gon na take away anything from my video is i like to use a brush for every step of my styling routine? So i once i apply my products i will take the brush just so that it distributes easier. I found that this makes a huge difference in making sure that every strand is coated properly with the product and that it's just evenly distributed. I'M using the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, i'm sure you've heard of it. It is a wildly known favorite for curly girls um. I do really like this product. I will say that when i first used it, i did not have a good experience with it, but since then i have tried it over and use different amounts and try different techniques and so far i seem to like it. It really helps get my curls defined and leaves them feeling really soft. Personally, i feel like the back of my hair: is the most damaged part or tends to be the part that doesn't get the most amount of product, so i will be focusing on applying the products there. So that's what you'll see is usually i find that the front of my hair always looks good and then the back is like super frizzy and dry. So my technique with the denman brush is i like to lift the hair off of the scalp, so instead of brushing the hair just flat down my scalp, i like to take it from the root lift up and then continue brushing it down. So a gel that i've been really liking is the availa conductor liquid gel a little bit of this goes a long way and it's a great medium hold i'll, just rake this through with my hands before going in with my denim brush. So, like i said before, i do like my hair to be wet enough so that the products can soak in and just distribute better. So i'm just going in with my spray bottle before i start to scrunch and i'm going to have to like cut off like a good amount of this clip, because i'm scrunching for at least five minutes. What feels like, but yeah. I will scrunch a lot before. I go in with a diffuser okay, so i'm using a conair blow jar with the diffuser head that it came with. I don't know exactly what model this is. If i do, i will leave it down below, but i will be drawing the midsection and roots of my hair first, so i don't touch it too much during this process, but i will be flipping my hair kind of back and forth just so that we're getting More airflow, as well as so that the hair is not settling in one position, so i will get more volume. So once my roots and midsection kind of feels dry enough, i will take my diffuser head and just scrunch all over my head in different positions. Again, just so that i'm getting more volume, so once my hair is around like 60 70 dry, i will take a styling oil, so this is the ogx and the moroccan oil, and i will just distribute this throughout my hair. I just feel like this is a good sealant to keep the moisture into my hair, and it, of course, adds shine and eliminates frizz all right guys, so that is it for the video. I really hope it helps you out. If you are thinking of using some of the products or any of the tips that i do while styling my hair, um yeah, so i'll keep you guys updated on my journey, and hopefully we get curlier from this, because i still there's some problem spots that i Want to fix, but i do have a haircut actually coming up in the next couple of days. I'M really excited for that. It'S gon na be it's gon na, be quite uh different. I think i'm gon na be getting a lot of layers, so it should. It should puff up my hair. Follow me on my instagram. I will definitely post something about my haircut and if it looks good, if it doesn't look good um we'll see but yeah, i think that is it. I would love to make more videos on curly hair. So give me a subscribe if you're interested in that, like this video and of course, leave me a comment and yeah i'll see you in my next video

Kaitlyn Soares: Cut my hair recently...check out my updated routine for my short hair ☺️

rabid gurly: i cant be the only one who has nice curls after a shower than in the morning my hair looking like dreadlocks

Celeste’s Channel: Omg thank you so much! My daughter has curly hair and I followed everything you did and for once it actually has volume and perfect curls! Thank you! - a momma with pin straight hair

Esperanza Lorenzo-Martinez: I just started transitioning into my natural curly hair and I’ve never had such great results since I found your video!! I bought the Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and my results are AMAZING. All the other videos had so many products that weighed my hair down but this routine is now my new routine! ❤️❤️❤️

Bianca: That moment where that "before" hair looks like my goal hair...

Snowball Lee Blue: Your curls are gorgeous. I tried your method, it works! The brushing after each application. I’m going to try this again.

Dawn lee Senoj: This one of the better curly hair routines I've seen and I have watched a lot of them. It's one of the better ones because it's not too much fuss and muss. It's exactly what the video says simple and it she gets great results with out having to spend forever on her routine or using a bunch of overly expensive products. So many of the videos I've seen complicate things more then need and routines that are way too long. Part of the reason I've moved away from straightening my hair is not wanting to spend the hour it takes to get it done so a curly routine that isn't too long is great. Plus so many videos I see always involve a lot of products and all expensive ones too..you shouldn't need to break the bank to get good results which this video shows. Good video with great results.

mccabeisababe: i recently found out i had curly hair so tutorials like this are quite useful. the conditioner is actually pronounced auzzie, the 2 ss in the word are pronounced like zz. i am from Australia so i am an Aussie

MilkxnHoney: Just letting you know I used to use Shea moisture in my hair and I realized my hair started getting strangely dry and frizzy at the backs of my hair and I added more of the curl smoothie not knowing that is what was causing it. It made my hair super dry to the point it wouldn’t take water. I had to get the back of my hair permed straight so it can get softer and now it’s normal. I’m telling you this bc we have the same hair type so if this happens to you stop using Shea moisture I don’t want you to go through what I went through

Shana: FINALLY SOMEONE WITH A SIMILAR CURL PATTERN TO ME

Kelce Rayeann: I've never seen such naturally perfect curly hair

angel !!: I used to have incredibly shiny and defined curls as a little kid because my nan who also had curly hair would do my hair for me but since she's past which is about 6 or 7 years ago I don't really look after my curls properly so it's always frizzy and kinda messy so I am trying to get my nice curls back :)

TORNADO KERATINER: Very detailed routine, your hair is gorgeous!

Hannah: I have your exact curl pattern when I wear mine curly! But I have trouble getting it to stay curly on the top. It looks great right after diffusing and then as the day goes on it just loses some of its shape. Maybe gel would help ‍♀️

Natalie Cookie: loved this vid!! i have a similar curl pattern and i first started using shea moisture smoothie to. Make sure you dont use it to much bc it had a s lot of protein in it which can cause a protein overload so make sure you have enough moisture products! check out manes by mell she explains it well.
