Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another video. Today'S video i'm super super excited about because i haven't chatted products with you guys in forever, which is absolutely unacceptable, but to be fair, i didn't really explore or try that many new products this year. So i feel like a lot of these products that i'm about to mention you either seen it on my channel before, or i've mentioned it in a previous favorites video, and because of that i also hesitated i was like. Should i still film this video, even though a lot of these products i've already mentioned, but then i decided i was like you know what these products held me down all 2021 and so they're worth mentioning again just in case we have some new curly friends here Over on my channel - and you guys are looking what to expand, what new products to try in 2022 so without further ado, let's go ahead and get started. Also, i will be linking all of these products that i'm mentioning if they have a link. I'M pretty sure all of these you can get online, but i will link them down below so before you click out on today's video make sure you guys check the description box. You ready. Let'S go okay, so to keep this simple and easy. I am going to just start off with what i use in the shower, so we're going to go and order shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioners, etc, and that way you guys can follow along with me without it being like scattered and all over the place. So, let's start off with shampoo, i mean. Is this new? I have been using this product, probably for like two three years now, maybe two years, but i love it. I used to hate shampooing shampooing, just wasn't my thing. I was definitely more of a co-wash type of curly girl and i swore by co-washing and i loved it until i came across this product. This is the shea moisture 100 virgin coconut oil daily hydrating shampoo. It just changes the way i think about shampoos. My hair doesn't feel dry or brittle, and it feels really pleasant to shampoo my hair with this. My scalp gets super clean, but not like squeaky clean to where it feels like whoa. I need to follow up with either a really moisturizing conditioner or deep conditioner. It doesn't leave me that feeling, but it does leave my scalp feeling pretty refreshed and just ready for a new styling day. So this is definitely worth mentioning, and then i do have one more new shampoo that i also thought was worth mentioning. I recently found it over at marshalls for 9.99 and you get this huge bottle, which is insane. It is a total of 30 fluid ounces for 10 bucks and y'all. Not only is this aesthetically pleasing, it looks beautiful, you can just put it in your shower. Have like a whole pink moment there and the simplicity of the packaging, which is kind of a little washed that right now with the lighting, but love love, love this so much. It is um sll, free, paraben, free and it's also cruelty free. I did want to mention really quick that i do not stick hardcore to the curly girl method. If you're new to my channel, i know when we all started our curly hair journey. The curly girl method was what we basically all followed: no sulfates parabens silicones or anything like that, and i did start like that. But i did break away with it because i saw that some products work way better and just the overall health of my hair needed some change and silicone sometimes work really well on my hair, but i don't use it often. So i didn't want to give that disclaimer that not all of these products are paraben sophie and uh. What is the other one? Silicone free, because i do use those products. I do try to stay for the most part away from parabens and so fades, but here there i'm okay with using that and i've noticed my hair is okay. So i don't go crazy, like reading the back of every single product and making sure that it's like free of all these things, because sometimes to be honest with you, i get better results. So don't kill me in the comments. I'M just sharing my journey and what has worked for my hair and by the looks of it i think we're doing okay on this side. So do what works for your hair and if you want to use those ingredients, go ahead, be cautious. But if you don't also go ahead and be cautious with that, so quick disclaimer, i feel like i have to say that otherwise some people might be like. Why are you using silicones? Why are you using sulfate, just letting you know, i'm sharing these products because they worked for me? Okay, so yes highly recommend this shampoo, if you're in the hunt for a new shampoo find that tj maxx marshall super affordable and you get a lot of product and my hair feels so incredibly soft after using a shampoo, i know, but it works really really well And they also have a conditioner which brings us to my next product that i wanted to mention. This is from the same line. The brand is called monday. I don't know if i mentioned that it's called monday, i found them on instagram and they have other products. I think as well, so i do want to dive more into the brand and see what they're all about and what else they have in their collection, because this one just really changed the experience. It'S really creamy easy to detangle and ten dollars for this amount of product y'all. You can't go wrong and it works. My hair is shiny, silky soft and it's just the perfect foundation for styling, so highly recommend this duo and then this, along with the conditioner, which i don't have because i went to costco and i picked i was like rushing so i picked up two shampoos. Instead of a conditioner shampoo, but it's literally, it literally looks exactly like this, but it's just the conditioner instead and y'all like these two duos right here, i can't live without if all of the shampoo and conditioners were to just like vanish one day, i'll be good. Just leave me with these two duels i'll do one week, the monday brand and then the next week shea moisture and we're good on this side totally good, so recommend both of these. So in previous videos, the next category would be co-wash, because an alternative for shampooing is co-wash and in case you're new to the curly girl language. A co-wash is basically a cleansing conditioner, and now this is another one where i'm just like guys. Don'T kill me in the comments, but i'm just being honest with you and letting y'all know what i did this year and just co-washing wasn't something that i was really doing just because these two shampoos right here did the job. For me, i didn't feel like i needed to co-wash often, and i was actually washing my hair way less so let's say i would shampoo my hair on sunday midweek around wednesday thursday, depending on how my hair reacts to the wash and go that i did. If i felt like i needed to refresh my hair i'll, just take some water and just re-add some product to my hair, instead of like co-washing, my hair and then restyling, which is what i used to do. But now, if i want to refresh in midweek just throw some water in there add some more styling cream or gel and i'm good to go and then whenever it's time to wash my hair, i will go in with these hydrating shampoos, which don't strip my hair. My hair doesn't feel dry doesn't feel brittle because i always jump in with deep conditioning really quickly. If you are into co-washing right now - and you did want a new recommendation - i don't have one here on the table, but one that i absolutely love is the curl smith co-wash such an amazing product, i'll insert it right here and i'll also link it down below. So good, it's worth getting the big one. It comes in a big bottle like this as well. I went through that like crazy last year, absolutely love it and i still have one that i use occasionally. Whenever i feel like, i need to go wash my hair, but that one is really really good. It cleanses your hair, but it also leaves it really moisturizing and you don't even need to condition after that, so worth mentioning such a good co-wash. But again, co-wash is something that is just like um. You don't really need it, but if your hair is really dry then maybe you can you know so it just depends. But i think, if you find a really good shampoo, you won't need to co-wash right because we tend to stay away from shampooing because of how stripping and drying it can be to our hair. That'S probably only the case because you haven't found a really good shampoo that works that is hydrating but also really cleansing. At the same time also, i noticed that co-wash gave me a lot of build up versus shampooing my hair. More often my scalp is constantly like clean and feels refreshed enough about wash day products. Let'S talk about some deep conditioners. I love deep conditioning so much. I feel like it just changes. The way your hair looks feels reacts, holds products maintain product. How long your wash day lasts like if you were to not buy anything girl, invest in some deep conditioners, you need it. Your hair will thank you and you're going to notice a visible difference. Everybody always asks me like how is your hair so shiny? How is it so defined and i'm just like girl, i just deep conditioned like that - is something i swear by i stand by and i always need to do it every single time i wash my hair. So i deep condition about once a week, sometimes even twice a week if it is really really hot and humid and my hair lacks moisture or if it's really really cold and my hair is just dry as well. I will just go crazy, deep conditioning, so i have two of these, for you mentioned them before my channel, nothing new, but i do want to explore and dive right back into mask mondays and try new deep conditioners for next year. I'M just not sure if y'all still into that, so let me know if you guys are into that, because if you are thank god, i really want to pick that back up, because i had so much fun discovering and trying new products specifically deep conditioners. So let me know what you guys think about that all right, so i've mentioned naughty before on my channel, absolutely obsessed, probably one of my favorite deep conditioners, hands down. I will always have this in my stash. If all of the deep conditioners were to go away, this would probably be the one that i will continue to repurchase. Personally, i like deep conditioners that are super thick, so if it does not come out of the tub, when i turn it upside down, shake it, that is a good sign for me, nine times out of ten, if a deep conditioner has a really thick consistency, it's Rich in texture, my hair will love it, but there's something: there's just something special about this knotty to the rescue, intense moisture treatment, because the shine the creaminess the way my hair reacts to it. I can literally use less product on wash day because this gives my hair so much moisture. So much shine. It'S just amazing. Again. I'Ve read about it so many times on my channel, but it's worth bumping it up in case. You forgot about it and you want to try it again, super good, affordable and you need it in your stash. You just need it. It'S just that good and then another deep conditioner. That is really really good. Is the curlsmith hydro cream soothing mask now? This one is also really really good, she's, also nice and thickly thick. I love it. Oh, it has a little pelito in here. You know jelly! Oh nasty, but it's also very thick. You can get it at ulta, get it online. It is an amazing product. It smells delicious as well. In case you know fragrance. Sometimes it's important for some people. You know they just want it to smell good, and this one does the job. This one smells. Okay, this one smells really good. It is a little bit more pricier, this one's more on the affordable end, this one's a little bit more bougie, but totally worth it. A little goes a long way coming from me that if you've watched my channel - and you know how i apply product - i am very heavy-handed - and with these thicker ones, you don't have to be because you're just wasting product at that point. But little goes a long way. Your hair will thank you, throw on a plastic bag, sit under her dryer or steam. Your hair listen, try and come back, and let me know how it works. Let'S move on to leave-ins. Now let me give you guys a little recap in 2021 this year i have not been layering products as much as i used to. I honestly didn't even explore that many new products this year, i kind of just stuck with what i like and maintained that and kind of just play with using less products. So this is a section where i probably have a whole bunch of products. To mention to you guys - and i honestly don't my favorite leave-in conditioner - that i use this year to be honest with you is from powder. This is the leave-in conditioner from pattern. I know it has mixed reviews a lot of people hate it. A lot of people love it. I personally love it it's one of those deep conditioners that has a really nice consistency. I forgot the mixture mix. Chicks is also worth mentioning, but we'll talk about that in a second, this even conditioner, i can use it by itself. It'Ll give me a really nice fluffy wash and go, and it also cocktails really well with any other gel or any other styler, and i always look for that in a leave-in conditioner. I need you to work well with other products, because if you give me a hard time, i don't want you, i don't need you to be holy grail. I can find something else that will not give me any issues. This is one of those i absolutely love and then mixtrix leave in conditioner. I don't have it here. I ran out, that's probably where i forgot. I ran out one and done you can use it on its own. It gives you shine, holds moisture, it's perfection, so i will insert the the mixture right here. So you guys know what i'm talking about such a good ogee, but a goodie. It'S worth having your collection for those days where you just need to throw something in your hair. You don't want to wear a bun. You don't want your hair to be up, throw in some leave-in and you'll be good to go talking about those products that are just good to go. I want to mention this on my channel, which i haven't mentioned. I don't think i don't think i've mentioned it or maybe i did i don't know, but i've really been into using less product. For me this year, less product has been much better for me and the only reason why i started using less product is because diffusing my hair was just not a priority. This year i was just like. I need something, quick and lightweight. That'S not gon na make me diffuse my hair for an hour or that's not gon na make me air dry, my hair for 10 hours. I was like i need to cut my drying time in half, because i would literally spend 45 minutes to 50 minutes drying. My hair, even with a dyson okay, even with a dyson, and that's because i would do a leave-in, a styler, a gel and oil like it was just a lot. Don'T get me wrong. You get really great results with that routine. But when you don't have time to sit there and layer, so many products, a mousse works now disclaimer does not work for everybody's hair. Don'T do this every single wash day? Don'T do this every single day, because your hair will definitely be really upset with you. It will be dry, it will not. No, it will definitely dry out your hair, so this is more for those days where you're. Just like all right, i want something quick. I don't want to dry my hair for too long. I want something moisturizing, shiny and all that this will give it to you. In fact, i actually have it in my hair right now. I wanted a quick wash and go last night because i know i was gon na be filming. This video - i didn't, want my hair up in a bun, so you have to see the curls. You know the curls are usually tucked away in a bun sometimes, but i wanted a quick and easy wash and go, and this is what i used. I use this mousse. I get volume definition, it's beautiful. Sometimes i can get away with using it by itself, but just depending on the state of my hair, i do have to throw in a gel and i actually threw in the aussie instant freeze gel. This is the 20 hour max hold, so these two combinations, you would never think, would give you such amazing, curls and y'all like see it for yourself. It is not stiff, it is not like dry, it doesn't feel like hard and, like i mean, there's no leave in here, there's no styling cream and it works amazing. This duo has definitely been my favorite but again keep in mind. This cannot be your everyday routine. Your hair will be upset, it needs moisture, but it's great for those days where you just want to go out the door, and then i only have one styling cream here on the table that held me down it's an old product. You guys have used it. You probably love it, and it's this guy right here. This is the camille rose, naturals almond jar twisting butter. This styling cream has held it down. I used to love this one like way back when, but then i went through a period of time where i was not even using styling creams. I was just using leave-in and gels and then one day i was again looking for something that was going to give me a quick wash and go, and i was like you know what i didn't move most i did gel like. I need some actual cream now i got this one well, i didn't get it because i had it. I just started using it again, and so i used it on its own because before i used to always cocktail these two together and although you get fabulous fabulous results, this product can actually stand on its own and still give you a really nice and moisturizing. Now we can move on to gels and jelly some gel gel i'm over here acting like i have a lot to show you and like something new, but now i don't to be honest with you, i'm like doing so bad with these products, because i have these. I don't even have on the table, but i use my eco styler gel the argan oil one specifically, i entered it right here, so you know exactly what i'm talking about. I cannot live without it. I don't know how i'm living right now, because i actually don't have it with me. I lost it when i went to denver, and so i need to buy a new one, but i've been testing out the eco styler olive oil one, and i used that to lay my edges today. Let'S see how it works because argan oil one doesn't. Let me down, i tried the olive oil one for a while, didn't love it as much as the argan oil one argan oil, one highly highly recommend. I love it. Super affordable cocktails with 85 percent of products. Sometimes it can beat up and it does not go well with this. I can tell you that don't pair it up with this, because it will look really bad and then, like i mentioned, camille rose this one is just one of those that you need to have in your stash. I feel like it works with every single texture. We use this one when i was in florida down with a bunch of girls, everybody had different textures and we all used the camera rose gel and it looked beautiful in all different types of textures. So highly recommend this one again, not a new product, but it's totally worth mentioning totally worth having in your collection, if you're in the hunt for a moisturizing gel that defines tames the frizz lasts as long this is, i mean, look no more. This is what you need and then, of course, this one since i mentioned it earlier, the aussie, instant, freeze, gel, really good, affordable and pairs really well with this mousse, and also the aussie mousse, which they have a mousse, which is also really good and hydrating i'll Link it down below for you guys, so you can check it out and then the last category is oils. I love oils and the ones that i'm about to mention are not new like everything else, but this is the aussie miracle curls curl defining oil. I forgot to take this to my florida and denver trip and i went to walmart to buy it because when it comes to separating my curls or fluffing it out or adding volume, i always always put some of this in my hands. It has a thick consistency, but it does not weigh your hair down. It'S called an oil, but i think it's more of like a serum serums are typically more heavier, not heavier, but they're, typically thicker, and so this is one that i cannot live without absolutely love. It my curls love it. I did use it to separate my hair today. What happened here and i love it - absolutely love it again, not a new product, but you need it ending it off with the ogx, of course, argan oil of morocco dry spray. Like i don't even know, dry spray existed until i found this one. They also have a pink one, which i don't have it's like orchard, i'll insert it right here. It'S super nice. It smells delicious and it's just a dry oil. So it doesn't weigh down your hair, but it adds that extra shine that you might be looking for or that you know just makes your curls pop out a little bit more. You want shine definition, all of that. It'S just going to enhance your curls and make them look healthy, so oils are a must at the end of styling. After i finish styling my hair, for example. Today i took my hair off the bonnet and nine times out of ten. All i do is just spritz, some oil bam scrunch it and we're done that's pretty much. How i refresh super super quick and easy. That is all for today's video. Thank you guys so much for watching this video again, all links will be in the description box below happy holidays, merry christmas, and i will see you guys in my next video. I think i have like two more vlogs, i'm gon na sprinkle in for the rest of this year and i'm excited for next year. So once again, thank you for watching this video and i will see you guys in my next one now.

DD Tuss: 2020 and 2021 was all about using up all the products in my stash and finding out which are my favorites to keep it simple for me

Ioana Schifirnet: I love how you went through products that you genuinely use and like. Sometimes we feel a pressure to constantly use new products just because there’s something new and this helps me to stay away from buying everything haha

Shari-Lee Davis: Curl maker is just that product! Love love love it! Mousse was also a product that held me down this year for both wash and gos and twist outs 2022 is gonna be the year for me to use up my stash to see what my hair really likes

Tiff1111: I love the shea moisture daily hydration line. It’s my holy grail. My hair has never been healthier and it’s so cheap!

Haley Harris: Please more mask Mondays!!! Love watching your videos and the advice you give

God’s Precious: Bring back the deep conditioners!!! Also, I feel the same about product ingredients

Jody Wagner: I always love your videos, but I was SUPER excited to see a video focused on hair! Mask Mondays and any hair content are always welcome.

ShayMarie: Yes for MaskMondays!

Kelsea Greene: Your recommendations have never let me down girl lol! Have you ever tried the Uncle Funky's Daughter gel? It's the best!

Shae Poppinkurlzdc: Love your videos! Thanks for the recommendations you always come through for me (as I mentioned on IG). Please start back up with mask Mondays!

Abigail Gopher: Loved the video! I remember that in your 2020 video you mentioned Derma E thickening shampoo. I am looking for a more effective thickening shampoo and was wondering if you still recommend it and if it actually makes hair seem thicker? Thanks!

Marleen G.: I think I hold up every curl cream or leave-in up to cheap gel. If they can't hack being combo'd with that, I will toss it or try and use it as a one and done! I am not about to splurge on super expensive gel just so I can use your cream. And the one product that absolutely does not work for me (meaning that it flakes on my hair even without gel) is the Aunt Jackie's curl la la. Man that is a terrible product!

Jenna-Leigh Metivier: I have been waiting on this video since you mentioned it on Instagram love you so much! Season’s Greetings to you and your family ❤️ Love from Trinidad

Aray Brown: I love that Shea moisture daily hydration conditioner! You put me on

P D: Please do the mask mondays again!!! I have found a few and wonder what you think! Camille Rose has a lavender line and just tried their deep conditioner and in LOVE!! I miss the mask Mondays!! Love all of your reviews on hair products!! Feliz Navidad!!!

Rogue027: I'm new here. Thanks for the recommendations. I'm always trying to treat my curls better since I always have in slick back and in a bun. Thank you

Nayala: Chelly! I saw the Monday shampoo at Ulta but I did not like the smell‍♀️ I'm so glad you made a video dedicated to products!

Pretty Lady S.: I need silicone in my hair sometimes..and I just wash it out...I agree...do what works best for you....mixed chicks leave in conditioner and aussie serum has kept my wash and go from frizz

Sheila King: I look forward to the most used hair products. It is my favorite video. I am currently adding products to my cart even though I am already stocked up. LOL!!! Also please bring back Mask Monday as well.

Curls&Curls: Happy holidays!!! Omg I saw your sister and niece&nephew singing on facebook live for church! So amazing! Many blessings to you and your family!

Gor3 Gurl: I can agree with you!!! I used all natural organic shampoos and conditioners and they dried my hair WORSE than the cheaper stuff or with conditioners with sulfates and stuff

Susie Rivera: Girl this was great! Gotten go buy the Camile Rose that's the only product I have not try yet. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and Hubby! See u soon 2022

Jasmine D: We definitely want Mask Mondays to come back! ❤️

Jazmin Jordan: I love your videos! Please bring back Mask Mondays in 2022! My hair loves Curlsmith Hydro Creme Smoothing Mask! I want to try Pattern Beauty Leave In Conditioner. My hair loves Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter!

Evelyne Velez: i love the camille rose jelly!!! but i have yet to try the twisting butter!

TheLauren1113: I’m like you a chelli - I’m not really into co-washing either. I like to use sulfate free shampoos and even the occasional sulfate shampoo when my hair needs it.

Mariela Arosemena de Luna: Muchas gracias por tus recomendaciones, he podido chequear el mousse que recomendaste y es muy bueno ahora voy a agregarle el gel.

Danielle Scott: Chelli girl u are gonna have me going broke lol jk!!!! I kid you not every product that you have recommended & I have tried works for my hair. I have 3c/4a hair. As a Christmas gift my parents are gifting me Camille Rose leave in & curl maker, Uncle Funkys curl gel, Kinky Curly Not today detangling leave in, & I can’t remember the other leave in. Lol now I have to go back to tell them to pick me up the Camille Rose twisting butter I can’t wait to see how these do for my hair. I already know my hair is gonna love it Merry Christmas

esther: im so happy i found this channel,my hair is similar to yours and i was trying to find a routine that work good for it,ill try use this products thanks for the video!!

Shyail Owens: That orchid oil seems to have disappeared, that oil was a hair perfume for me and I was obsessed…I am devastated every time I think about it. There is nothing on the market that smells remotely close.

Annaira Figueroa: Which Monday shampoo & conditioner was best for your hair? Smooth or moisture?

Essence Northern: i feel same way about the ingredients cause i don’t do the whole CGM method either, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it but i do check for formaldehyde releasing ingredients cause those scare me

Derrick Jennifer Watkins: Yes to mask mondays!

Kandi: Definitely bring back mask Mondays! Whilst I really like your vlogs I really miss the hair content like mask Mondays and the various hair tutorials you used to do.

Angel Huerta: My hair did not like the Not Your Mother’s Curl Mousse, it felt sticky for me, maybe had a bad batch but I now use TRESemmé curly mousse works better for my curls.

Gigi Reddick: Excellent video. I agree with all of your products choices. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!❤

Stacey Shaffer: I use whatever shampoos and conditioners that I can afford... I will still be using hair products with sulfate parabens and silicones because I really don't worry about those things.... I only worry about the ingredients in my food's because I have food allergies ☺☺☺ BTW I wash my hair every 4 to 6 days... I also have to use the Garnier Fructis Aloe Vera Detangling Air Dry Spray because my hair takes 2 and a half days to completely dry when I don't use it ✨❤✨❤✨❤✨❤

Maygan Page: Can you do a video with the mousse and Aussie gel ?

Marleen G.: I am wavy/curly and I have SD, seborrheic dermatitis, and so I *need* to use sulfates in my washes or I will be forced to use medicated shampoos. In the EU, Pantene just "kicked" a sulfate (sls) out of their formula, in favor of sles and cbetaine. It sucks, because my scalp actually needs the harshest sulfates out there. Thank goodness I have a backstash of products/shampoos from them, because I might have to resort to using Nizoral 2% (prescription strength & expensive) on the regular if the "shampoo companies" keep this trend up. IMO there needs to be something for everyone, instead of them getting on this "gentler" bandwagon that benefits a tiny few.
