Hey guys it's the set here - and this is 15 curly hair tips that you need to know. Let'S do this to avoid disturbing your curls switch to a satin pillowcase as opposed to a cotton one or use a satin bonnet to sleep with, so that you can keep your curls looking nice for the next day. An issue that I always have is not being able to grow. My baby hairs or my edges, use some castor oil and apply at night and just massage into your scalp, and this will help your hair to grow, and you could also apply this in your brows. On your lashes and even on your lips for chapstick, ditch the cotton towel and replace it with a t-shirt. It'S gentle on your hair and it will cause less frizz. So when your hair's wet just put this on like a regular towel and you're good to go. If you want to be super gentle finger, detangle your hair under running water, so like in a shower - and this will make it easier. So when you shampoo and condition your curls, you won't have a lot of tangles. Make sure that you're using hair ties that are ouchless or ones that don't have any metal bands in them? I have a lot of stories of those things getting stuck in my hair and it's not pretty at night gather your hair on top of your head and put it into a high pinapple ponytail. This will help to preserve your curls for the next day and also it will help you, so you won't have a lot of tangles when you wake up if you've ever applied too much styling products. I know I have take a wet t-shirt that has some cold water on it and just scrunch this throughout your hair, and this will help to get rid of some of that extra product and build up hey. So why can't people with curly hair brush their hair? You know what girl I'm gon na show you that's. Why yeah? So, let's, let's just not brush our hair while dry, because if you do this is pretty much what you're gon na look like yeah. If you have thick curly hair or your hair super long, then splitting your hair in sections, while you shampoo, can be super helpful. I'M splitting my hair down the middle and I'm sectioning my hair off and when I'm done with the section, then I move on to the next one, and this makes it super easy to get my scalp clean before you comb your hair, while wet make sure that You always apply a leave-in conditioner. This will help you so that you can really just smooth the comb throughout your hair start from the ends and work your way up to the roots, just so that you won't have crazy tangles and you won't hurt yourself. Have you ever wondered like how much product you should actually be using? Well, I found this really cool trick, so you section off your hair into two sections. You take your finger and wrap around the section and just whatever size that your fingers have created is about how much product you should be putting in your hair. So for this side it's about an inch in width. So I'm just going to estimate the amount of product and put this throughout my hair with curly hair. It'S actually a necessity to not shampoo your hair all the time. So it's not gross. It'S not nasty, it's actually what you're supposed to be doing instead of shampooing. I conditioned my hair every time I get into the shower, and what I like to do is do all of my other shower related things, while the conditioners in my hair, so that it can really moisturize the one thing about curly hair that drives me crazy. Is that it shrinks up so much and you never know the true length of your hair. So something that I like to do is grab a section of my hair after parting. It off - and I literally take my blow-dryer and I blow at the roots kind of like if you were straightening your hair, and this helps you straighten out the roots so that your hair can appear longer. The one thing I don't like about sulfate free shampoo is that I feel like I'm, never actually getting my scalp really clean. So what I like to do is shampoo my hair twice just to ensure I'm really targeting all the areas and when using sulfate free shampoo, you want to use the tips of your fingers, not like the nails you want to use the palms and really massage it And work it through your scalp. If you're blowing your hair dry, like this you're doing something wrong, this equals four is in this equals craziness take a diffuser attachment. It helps to diffuse the air so that it's not blowing out in a straight line. Put it on low heat and low speed and alternate with the warm in the cool air, starting from the ends, push the diffuser into your hair and just hold it for like a few seconds and just move it around your hair. Until all of your hair is dry and if you want a little bit of extra volume, you can flip your hair upside down and do this deep conditioning. Your hair should definitely be a priority, and I aim to do this about once a week. I'M combing this through my hair and I'm tying my hair up and putting it in a cute shower cap and once I'm finished, I leave this on for, like the whole duration on my shower, and make sure that I rinse out with cold water, so that I Can seal in the moisture and I can close the cuticles all right guys, we've come to the end of this video. I hope that you all enjoyed it. Let me know a curly hair tip that you have. If you have any tips, hair tips. Let me know I like to read the comments and I like to learn some stuff, so you have any tips that I haven't mentioned: put them down below. maple: Having my hair: "Wash it" It'll shrink "Brush it" Wanna see a cloud☁️ "Straighten it" It's too thick "Leave it alone" It'll get brittle and dry "Is it long or short" It decides what it wants to be

loved and Forgotten: I’m mixed, and I had a white friend. She told me my hair looked a mess and I needed to brush i told her no, and I was fine, and then her mom told my friend I was fine, and my hair didn’t work the same as hers. Then my friend said I needed to brush it because we were going to Dave & Busters. I felt far to uncomfortable. I ended up brushing it and it looked a mess. I was super upset and after that I wanted to cut my hair off or I wanted to straighten it so it looked like hers. Then I realized, having my hair is awesome. Edit: I got her off years ago, I never went back after that. <3

Rosol Hamdi: Tip: While your hair is dry, don't keep touching it! If you keep touching it, it will become frizzy.

Jill Alexandra Rock: I'm 49 years old. So excited to see CURLY hair, like mine, coming out of the closet, as an actual style-look nowadays. They even categorized it! 2C, 3C, 4C....So awesome! Now I can go natural with all the products available. I don't have to apologize for my hair being on my head "like that"...salute to many Afro-Americans, bi-racials, mixed, and everybody & anybody with the ancestral DNA SMACKDOWN going on in the hair arena....(my ancestry shows Benin/Great Britain/Norway/Philippines) THANK YOU, this is a fantastic vid.

kurlykaitlyn: All my curly head friends apple cider vinegar is a holy grail. After I shampoo, which I do once a week, I have a jar of water with about 2tblsp apple cider vinegar. Monica Latina: do you know of anything that will really help with frizz? I have from mainly in like the middle back part of my hair. the bottom is always curly and the top is like wavy.

Jamie Ford: This is so beneficial. My sister is my best friend & she's got that beautiful mixed skin tone & hella curls. We don't know much to do with the hair and neither does she so these little videos are helping beyond measures. XXOXO

Kaylee Kusek: Hi Luhhsetty! I love your channel so much because I have thick curly hair and I’m 11 so I can’t really take care of my hair that good yet. What I love about your channel is it gives good advice on how to take care of my hair

Braa: I transitioned from straight permed hair to my natural hair hair n my mom says I have to find my curl pattern I'm excited and this video helps a lot so when I start to do my hair myself more often thank you!!!

Malia Rose: twisting or bandirding your hair at night and putting a night cap on. Keeps your hair from breaking, helps your hair to grow, and is a essay morning to go look. Just watch your hair about once a week, like you said, i usually do a watch on Sunday, then baird or twist your hair into scalp, tight but not to tight, then place the cap on head, good night, then it's morning time and you tsce cap of, and un twist or baird hair, gently

Mia Gordon: # Tip: If you wash your hair in the evening comb it with conditioner and section, twist and rinse then you leave it to dry overnight. Pull out the twists and you can easily style it.So you can all be happy.

Everything Cheyoncé: A curly hair tip that I've been using is when putting product in your hair , Scrunch it at the ends to make your curls more bouncy

Nadia: If you want to style/detangle your hair without needing to shower then follow these quick steps: 1)Spray with water 2)Apply leave-in conditioner allover your hair 3)Brush out with a normal brush or comb (DON'T FINGER DETANGLE, IT CAUSES FRIZZ) 5)Finger twirl or just twist all your hair into a big roll a shake it out 6) SLAY B*TCH!

n o: Great deep conditioner: What you need: • 1 banana • 1/2 tbsp of honey • 1 tspn of vanilla essence • 1 tbsp of coffee powder (skip this if you're a light haired person) • 1/2 cup of milk • 1/2 tbsp of olive oil 1. Mix together all the ingredients 2. Put it on your dry hair 3. Put a shower cap/plastic bag over your hair 4. Leave in for 35 (or more if needed) minutes 5. Rinse with lukewarm/cold water 6. Wash with shampoo and conditioner

Sweet Secrets: This was really helpful I always have tangled hair and hide it with a pony tail and now I know what to do Thanks.

Linda Love: I stretch my hair using two or three springy, spiral hair bands and make three mini-pineapples, a satin bonnet, on a satin pillowcase. This makes my curly afro BIG. My hair's not long enough to place in a pineapple yet, so I make do.

Shaunda Henry: question: I have a new friend who I helped get off the streets. She is in a safe home now and I'd like to help her start to feel good about herself by helping with her hair. what are the best products to use? while I too have thick curly hair, I'm white so my texture isn't as course and I don't think we would use the same styling products. I love how your hair looks with the natural curl. it's so shiny and looks so soft. my friend wants a wig, but I'd like to help her bring out the naturally beautiful her before resorting to a wig. I'm just unsure of the products.

Esmeralda Castro: I love your curls. Definitely going to try the product trick. Thanks

Roman Collins: This helped me out so much with my daughter!! Thanks so much check her hair out now lol IG - Jade_anaya_

Iyana Stevenson: You should definitely try using a wide tooth comb instead of a brush, it's less likely to damage your hair! and every few weeks when my curls are feeling extra dry before I take a shower I put loads of olive oil all through my hair and let it soak for about 10-15 minutes and then only condition it out, you have to use hot water at first but cold at the end and it works at hydrating your hair amazingly!

Breonna: this video is all me!!! I understand the brushing the curly hair thing bc I have curly hair...great tips

Natasha Olds: Thank you for making these curly girl videos!

Laura Khalil: I use oil on the ends of my hair. I usually mix macadamia, avocado, coconut, and almond oil.. My hair loves it!

Lily Abrams: The thing is that my friend with ringlet curls keeps brushing her hair from the roots to the ends and I️ keep yELLING at her but she keeps dOING it. Like, when she brushes it makes ripping noises and I’m like hONEY NO

ro: If u have thick curly hair dont wash it all together, section it

HimeMarie MC: Hii girl! Do you notice how much your hair has change??? Its amazing! Can you do a video of what you use to do here and what change that got you results so great now? My curl pattern is like yours in this video but your curl pattern has change so I wanna try out whatever you do and grow it more! XOXO- Marie~

•Alxsha• Shabrxz•: HER HAIR HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH IN 2020 ♥

Aliyah Ash: So you see, i have curly, unpredictable, hair. So i searched up on YouTube for help. Watching this definitely helped. I do have some tips though. If you do straighten your hair , make sure to buy or use a heat protect-ant or some product to protect it from breakage and split ends. Also Dont do your hair in a pony tail, or a certain style the same way every day. It causes your hair to break and you can exceed a sensitive scalp. ^.^ Hope that helped..Idk if it did but whatever.

simplyuneeke: If your hair tangles definitely dont wash your whole hair at once. Section it out and wash section by section

Its Star: Omg you are the first person I have come across on YouTube that literally has almost the same exact type of hair I do! (your hair looks amazing btw!)

Annie Long: Thank yiu so much! Now i won't be so tempted to keep cutting it short. Im 53 and just getting useful tips for my hair!!! Thank you again

idk: I like to brush out the tangles of my hair while my conditioner sets in, so I don't have to deal with them when I brush my hair afterwards.

Yasmin Thessin: Love this video!! So helpful !

vcd1995: Coconut oil, Shea moisture, cantu Shea butter..... The holy trinity of curly hair.

Always, Saia: this is crazy to watch, your hair has changed so much. you've been a big help through my journey.

hi you: This has let me have my hair down. I am 12 and it's great thanks xxx

𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒚-𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒎 ツ: Anybody else feels air drying or fan drying is less frizzing than hot blow dryer or diffusing

Brooklyn M.: I remember once when I was little, it was picture day, and I mistakenly decided to use one of those thin hair ties that always break to put my hair up. Well, I get to school and my ponytail is feeling really loose so I take it out and start redoing it during class. This is like moments before we are about to leave to take pictures and out of nowhere, the hair tie broke, and my friend heard and saw it and she was like, "Oh god." And I just started bawling because everyone else in my class had thinner hair or hair that was nothing like mine so the only things they had were scrawny little rubber bands. I was SOBBING. That was the day I learned that the myth is true. Curly headed people are fated to suffer. Also, I learned to never be without an extra hair tie or scrunchie.

Susu Z: The hair tip I have for curly hair is to NEVER do a hairstyle that requires a lot of sectioning the hair while its dry, always do a hairstyle when it's still damp and detangled. If not, your curly hair would be a curly/frizzy mess lol

ave: This was a huge help so thank u gurl❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nora: I'm mixed. Thing is though, my hair isn't sure exactly what it is. Definitely curly, but when I brush it wet, super straight, and if it dries it's just poofy. If I keep it curly it shrinks beyond control, and then starts standing.

Jocelyn Barton: I braid my hair to the side then sleep with a bonnet it works great also a cellophane treatment is always good to do once a month its like a mask for your hair. you can find it at Sally's.

Lazeena Yearwood: your hair is literally the way mine is now, it used to be coarser but I wanted to "experiment" on my hair lol, so yeah... thank you for the tips btw, I'll be trying them all out!

Dot: Thank you so much for your videos. They are really helpful.

jessica phillips: this was super helpful! i’m getting my adopted daughter this summer and she has mixed hair that hasn’t been well cared for any more tips to help us out?

Ayesha Farooq: My hairs are long and reach my back but they shrink up to my shoulders. I just assumed that it was the natural length of my hairs. But when I found out that my hairs were long I was super shocked. I would always search hairstyles for "short" curly hairs. I love long hairs. And your video was very help full. Thanks a lot. Though I'm watching this in 2020.

Brallon isReal: Her: use a blowdrier Me: HAHAHAHA NOPE ITS NOT AFRO TIME!

Tia Hatungimana: Omg I have the same sort of hair but my curls are tighter ringlet curls I do so many things like you and some of those tips really helped me thank you!

amanda graham: Very beautiful I so have the same problem when brushing my hair ❤

xnoor_ a: This was so freaking helpful I am serious I have been struggeling with my hair since the day I was born

Sandra Feldman: thank you so much i needed this i have natural curly hair you have helped a lot :)

Jessixa 5171: Omg this was so useful I have been wondering what I'm doing wrong and now i know what it is... everything

Gianna V.: I just started watching your videos and I love them i got a short hair cut and I am having so many problems you are a very big help.

alex hittin licks: remember, do not constantly blow dry your hair unless you want split ends. if you do blow dry, try not to make it hot, because heat tends to create split ends.
