Thank you so much for your support!

Today i am back with another hair routine and first i start off by double cleansing. My hair. With the same shampoo, i use my bounce curl clarifying shampoo and, even though this shampoo claims to be clarifying, i feel like i can use it every time i wash my hair and it doesn't strip my hair or anything. So when i filmed this, it was actually time for me to do my apple, cider, vinegar rinse, so i thought i'd just film it to show you guys. I'Ve been doing these rinses once a month to get rid of build up. I use it sort of like a clarifying rinse and it's also helped a lot with hair growth, because my scalp gets very clean. So i just get a little bit of this apple cider, vinegar in an applicator bottle, fill the bottle with filtered water, shake it, and i apply it to my roots, and i also take it to the ends of my hair again. I only use this about once a month. I really don't think that you need to use it more often than that, at least i don't because it can strip your hair a little bit in my opinion. So while i have the apple cider vinegar in my hair, i like to go in with my deep conditioner, and this is my favorite one. I actually use this every time i wash my hair, i wash my hair about once a week and it's fine. It'S not too much for my hair. It'S my favorite and the reason that i like to apply this while i have the apple cider vinegar in my hair is because the apple cider vinegar can dry out your hair a little bit. So i find that this works. The best for me, so i just leave that in for about five minutes and then i rinse everything out then i use my favorite leave-in by curls, it's their blueberry bliss leave-in. I use about that much and i just work it into my ends and a little bit on my canopy. Then i go in with a little tiny bit of the clump and define cream from bounce curl, and i work it into my hair, followed by my denman brush, and sometimes i go in with a little bit of gel before going in with my denman brush. Just to mix everything and it works very well, but today i forgot to do that. So i just put the cream and the leave-in in and then i just brush my hair with a denman brush. I sort of shake my head to create clumps and then i'm gon na go in with my gel, so i just clump my hair a little bit to get it ready for the gel and the gel that i've been using, which i love with this cream, is The orange marmalade gel by eco slay, so i just get a little bit of it and i sort of rope it into all of the little clumps that i created and then i scrunch everything at the end. So i just repeat this process until i have a pretty good coat, not over the top. I don't like to put too much gel on, but just like a decent amount to make sure that everything is evenly distributed. So once i've repeated this process and the other side of my hair, i just wet plop with my shower cap, and then i complete my shower - do a little dance once i get out of the shower, and i've had my cap on for about five minutes. I just remove it and i start scrunching. My hair, i feel like this is really important in order to make your hair look uniform, especially throughout the back, and today i did go in with a little bit more gel, but i don't always do this. Sometimes i just don't have to add any other product. I can just scrunch out my hair and it will look fine. So now i go in with my little headband, which is a very thin headband, and i wait for my hair to dry a little bit. I remove the headband when my hair is damp and i start separating my hair from my scalp by doing this motion a bunch of times and then once my hair is a little bit more dry, i start scrunching it until it's completely dry. I just keep scrunching it to fluff it out, so this is pretty much everything that i do on wash days. Sometimes i do use a microfiber towel to remove any excess water to make sure that my hair doesn't get weighed down, which i forgot to do on this day. But it's fine. I just scrunch everything out and you guys have to work with your own hair. You have to see what ratios of gel and cream work for you. If you're gon na do apple, cider, vinegar, rinses, like i do once a month, you have to see what ratio of that works as well. You have to experiment with your own hair, so yeah. This is all i do. I haven't been going in with a diffuser, so as always, i wanted to show you how i refresh my hair, and sometimes my hair looks better on refresh days, and sometimes it looks better on wash days. It has a mind of its own. Just so happens that this refresh day wasn't that great, i think my wash day was better, but it's fine. I just go in using my spray bottle. I don't add any other product i don't have to when i use these products. Another very important thing that i do is separate my clumps, especially if you have thin or fine hair. This is key to make your hair look. Fuller clumps are beautiful, but if you separate them, your hair is going to look a little better. In my opinion, in terms of fullness, so i always separate my little ringlets so yeah. This is the routine that i've been using lately. I really really love it. It'S very simple and easy and i'm actually cutting my hair tomorrow. It'S way too long. So, as you can see, it does get weighed down, but it's fine, so yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching, don't forget to like and subscribe if you enjoyed, and i will see you in my next video you

Gemary Ermus: I want to give credit to the Black community for blessing us with most, if not all, of the knowledge and techniques that were used in this video. I do not claim to have invented any of this.  I get most of my hair advice from Power Domi and Wavycurly on IG (simply because their hair is similar to mine) and they most likely got their information from Black women. If I had any Black men or women that I could directly credit, I absolutely would have. I am not trying to steal anything from anyone.  I simply just wanted to share what was working for me but I understand how it’s important to acknowledge where information came from, even if you don’t have direct people that you can credit.   If you want more information on these and other hair products that I use & love, most of which are Black-owned, you can check out my dedicated video on Black-owned businesses.  https://youtu.be/BPmPjqjovMY

Rae: my hair doesnt know if it wants to be wavy or straight so it just decides to be frizzy smh (its like 2a/barely 2b)

Koshlynn Kellie: This debate is really weird to me. Why cant other ethnicities have curly hair? My mother and I both are pale and both have really curly hair. My mom has left her hair curly for the better part of 30 years. I dont think she stole her hair from anyone she was just born with it. I really cant understand why people from different backgrounds cant have similar features. No disrespect at all, just genuinely curious why my curly hair is less valid than someone elses just because I'm white.

Jazmin Beltran: Can’t wait until my hair is as long and beautiful as yours!! Your wash day looks incredible

Laura Carvalho: i love how straight to the point this is! great job, Gemary!

AnnaMacM: This was such a peaceful video! It also had a timeless quality to it.... a young woman taking time to make the best of her hair. Some things never change, thank god.

lindsey south: Hey girl, I just wanted to let you know that you were the reason I use bounce curl! No other shampoo has worked as well as this once for my curly hair & sensitive scalp! I’m so glad I came across your video, it was so so helpful (:

Aarju Ghimire: I literally have the same hair texture and density as you. SO HELPFUL!

Stephanie Marie: Hey gemary...you have inspired me to love my natural curls !❤...I've always thought i had to straighten them to look a certain way, but I realized my curls are just as beautiful.

Taiyeba ✨: I have 1c straight hair but I really love and appreciate the girls who follow the curly girl method so much, it requires so much hard work and dedication and only shows how much self love these people have. Also I followed a lot of general hair advice from CGM Youtubers and it improved my hair alot❤️

Ka tie: 4:29 “I start scrunching it until it’s completely dry”.... girl I have too much hair, it takes way too long to dry, I’d be scrunching for like 6 hours lmao

Casey Crisp: Love the Kinky curl leave in conditioner, gel, and clarifying shampoo! I can't believe no one ever talks about them. They work so good for my hair! Your hair is gorgeous!

Forthecurlies: I love that your videos are also so peaceful and informative. I also love how the overall video always looks. You have one of my favorite channels

Aubrey J: I actually have the exact hair type that you do, aside from a slight thickness (my hair’s irritatingly thick) and color difference. Thank you so much for the video, it hit all the points I’ve been missing!!

sovrappensiero1: The reason you feel like you can use that Bounce Curls shampoo every time is that it is actually NOT a clarifying shampoo. It’s not even a shampoo. It has no surfactants in it; it has conditioning agents and oils. Obviously it’s working for you...this comment is for anyone who, like me, has dry hair but not necessarily a dry scalp. I have lots of fine, very curly hair and the oils don’t get distributed to my ends. But if I don’t use a proper shampoo, I get dermatitis (itchy scalp). For anyone with similar scalp/hair, this shampoo is not likely to work well for you. (Love this video btw!!! Love your style.)

Anum A: Thank you for such a detailed video and including how you refresh the next day. Our hair is very similar texture so I'm excited to try out some of these products!

Midnight Sparkles: Just discovered your channel and binged watched all your hair videos, love them! I have hair just like yours. So nice that someone with fine wavy/curly hair is recommending shampoos/conditioners because usually the youtubers recommend hair products for fine hair have thick hair so don’t really know our struggles or know what suits us. Also love the aesthetics of your videos, so calming and pretty!

Sarah Schiewe: You have gorgeous curls love this routine!

Mihindi Kariyawasam: thank you thank you thank you!!! You actually inspired me to stop using heat on my hair and to start embracing my own texture ✨

Hillary Morrison: This is such great timing for me! I've been struggling so hard to find new curly hair products that work for my hair and I've lost my inspiration lately to try out more products. I've been using shea moisture products with pretty "blah" results for a while now. I was a die hard Deva Curl fan for years until this past year when they got hit with a huge lawsuit and many women coming out saying that their products completely damaged their hair. I've been looking for top quality products to replace them for almost a year now! Thank you! I'm excited to try out ecoslay products! I just ordered the Orange Marmalade and their Banana Cream Conditioner. :) I'm also trying out the bounce products too!

Ana C.: Followed your tips and they really worked! I also have caribbean hair and it was impossible to figure out! You were the first tutorial I’ve seen that actually uses clarifying shampoo every wash, that really helped me with buildup and frizz.

Dre Day: This video is so relaxing and refreshing to watch.........*sigh* You and your hair are beautiful

Lydia Harris: love your curls so much!! It's come a long way since you went curly :)

ginkgojulep: Thank you so much for GETTING TO THE POINT! I genuinely love it. <3

Sofia Brotton: I do vinegar every time I wash my hair, once a week. My hair is very poreous and since its curly, dry by nature, and although I have a lot of it, the hairs are actually very thin. Its actually good for the hair due to the PH, it helps with frizz a ton meaning it helps with keeping my hair hydrated, and with scalp conditions, I practically cured (controlled since it cant really be cured) my dermatitis. I dont even wash it of I use it at the end, since it leaves hair extra shiny and doesnt dry mine at all, and since I dilute it the smell (which I admit can be too much for some) is gone in a couple of hours. As long as you are diluting it, once a week its perfectly fine. Whats more, I use it as a toner on my skin which was super dehydrated and it has been a miracle. Of course it depends on everyone, Im just sharing my experience

Anette Kvam: Love this! We have sort of the same hair structure but I’ve always struggled with how to manage mine. If you don’t mind me asking, do you ever experience scalp itchiness when using products like this? Like the products you leave in your hair

Shreya B: My hair is just like yours, I'm starting my curly journey and I've been trying to get products one by one since curly products are expensive. Also I love your look since I'm not a big fan of tight curls, some girls look so good in tight curls but I dont think it might work for me tbh

Medancingxx: Great routine and your hair looks amazing! I'm wondering how often you refresh your hair! Do you do it every day in between washes or just the day after wash day? <3

irmalair1: I use the vinegar rinse 2 times a month, it helps a lot with my dandruff. And from my personal experience it can be white vinegar not necessarily apple cider vinegar

Ash: Your hair looks so healthy!! Would love to know what you do to your hair post work out

Sarah A: Your hair is sooooo gorgeous, so soft and shiny. My hair is so hard, rough and matte looking. It's not damaged it's not even very dry, it just has a naturally rough, wiry texture.

The Quizzical Reader: My hair is similar to yours but mine is really thin. I used to wash my hair a couple of times a week but after watching Dr. Dray she convinced me to go back to washing my hair more often. Now I wash my hair every day, and it has never looked better! I definitely want to try out the gel that you use. I used to make my own flax gel, but its a bit of a hassle and it always goes bad within a few days.

Adan Arreolla: Beautiful natural curly hair!!

Suyasha: Your hair is so pretty, healthy and shiny!!

Erum Naz: love to see a calm peaceful video no loud music no loud voice just information

Erin Albuquerque: I was literally just thinking wow I need to know what she uses for her curls because in that Miami humidity and heat I know its work! love your content :)

Victoria: Gorgeous natural hair!

tejas: omg im so thankful I found this cause my hair is just like this and this was really helpful

paulax95: Finally a video of someone who has such similar hair to me! Trying this new method tomorrow thank you!

Tesowed: Your hair looks so beautiful!

Malina: Your hair looks so gorgeous! Love that you don't have a thousand products lol definitely need to try all of these out.

Jessica Galyon: Watching for the 3rd time. I like the plump juicy way my hair looks styling on soaking wet hair. But it takes too long & then forever for my hair to DRY!!! I want an easier routine. But damp styling makes my hair stringy. Cant find anyone who has hair the way I like either. I like the way your hair is soft waves that aren’t fragile. That is what i want!

alizaace: I love that you did this with no diffuser. I don't have time or patience for that!

Kayshhh: Beautiful curls x

Tani 29: This was so helpful♡♡

Milla 4: Nice, beautiful hair you have, and great video presentation too. Cute and to the point.

trialsofkay: wow, your hair is so beautiful. loved this video

Gisela Vargas: I like that shower cap in the shower idea....might need to try that. My hair has been so dry lately. I don't know what's up.

Roxie Doggy: This whole video was just so relaxing

sweetyounglady: When you make videos showing your hair routine, is so nice and peaceful.

God In Me: Your hair is like mine. Curly in the front and bottom but the back is more wavy. FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE LIKE ME!!

phoebe91: Wow your hair look great! And you're gorgeous

Natalie Engelbert: LOVE this! Thank you!

Olivia Hurst: you have the most beautiful hair! i feel like mine would look like this if i knew how to care for it:/ thanks for the tips!

Bella Saff: I wish I had hair like yours mine is wavy in the middle and more tighter curls towards the end. But the middle section gets so fluffy, I think I have extremely high porosity hair because I’ve tried so many products, creams, leave in conditioners, gel-creams, gels, masks. But nothing stops the fluff!! So now I just plait my hair when it’s wet and after I’ve applied all my products so the moisture cannot escape as easily! But would still love to have hair that could air dry like yours naturally❤️❤️

Soma Roy Choudhary: It’s so relaxing to watch

LemonDrop: I tried doing the curly hair method yesterday and by the end of the day, my hair was flat with only slight waves at the ends. I thought my hair was waver than that. Could it be damaged? Does 2A-2B hair get heat damage like type 4 hair, where it stays straight after washing? I only blowdry my hair and I don't know if that's possible.

Helen Florence: Do you ever find that your hair gets really knotted when you are needing to wash your hair? Thanks for this lovely video

Catia Rafaela: this video is so helpful! thank you!

T hu: beautiful curls!

Emma Kelly: Do you find the Don't Despair Repair conditioner has too much protein? I had been doing what you were doing with using it as the conditioner every wash day, but my hair started getting really frizzy and brittle after about 4 months

Grace Arauz: loved the video & your hair!! i’m gonna have to try some of these products out!!

Nicole Decoty: Your so pretty! I loved the whole video, very good vibes and well made. The plant in the shower was super cool

Colzy Peace: I love how you get to it !!! No bullshit world salad !

Emily Jones: My hair is naturally like this but it’s soo thick and long that all the curls just get weighed down and the front parts stay straight and I think it’s because I’ve straightened it so much

Rebecca Jones: Your hair is so beautiful ❤️

PeppermintSky: You're the first youtube curly hair girl that have the exact same hair as me.. I also I have wavy-curly hair like you. Now I know what to look up to.

Puja Bhandari: middle class girl like me can only afford a shampoo

Marijose Velásquez: me: has straight hair also me:

Cocos Nucifera Edulis: You shouldn’t brush your hair downwards, instead, you should brush upwards to create volume (remember to do this in sections)

bellatrixfire: I have very fine hair and this video is very helpful.

gistefanczuk: now i want a plant in my shower! simply amazing

Michele W: you have such BEAUTIFUL hair omg.. my hair almost the same texture as yours but very thin and not as full cause ive experienced lots of hair loss :( looking to make it as healthy as yours!! just found your channel, do you follow the low/no poo techniques?

Heather Underwood: Wow! Your hair is so beautiful

kusuma: I am from India.. looking for 4 hrs to find my hair type.. finally found it... Love you ❤️ And BTW my hair is exactly like yours.. but too long than yours

Molly: so shiny and beautiful!

Ana D: beautiful and shiny and those curls are one of the prettiest

Queren M: Your hair looks so much like mine omg

artificialpanda: How could you wash your hair once a week and look that beautiful??? My hair oiled up just as soon as it dries after shampooing.

Alexa Style Book: Not sure if I can ever go with washing my hair once a week. I have to wash it daily, it gets super oily if I do not. Always love your vids
