Hey guys today, i wanted to show you my super quick and easy curly hair routine, using just one styling product, so i always start out with dripping soaking wet hair and today i'm going to be styling with kinky curly curling custard, and these are my other favorites For wash days when i want to use just one styling product - and i wrote a blog post to go along with this video talking about each one of these products, what i love about them, what type of weather each one of them do well in so to Check that out just click the link to the blog post in the description down below to figure out which one of these would work best for your hair. So then, i'm going to take some of the kinky curly custard, rub it between my hands and rake it into my hair. Raking is just going to distribute the product evenly throughout all of my hair. Then i take a little bit more and i will rake that through as well. Then i'm going to take a little bit more product and rub it between my hands and do the praying hands method to clump my curls back together, and this will create bigger juicy curl clumps. Instead of little small separated curls, then i'm going to rub any leftover product in between my hands and really gently start to scrunch. And when i get up to my scalp, i'm going to just kind of pulse my fists to let out any water that my hair is still holding on to then i flip my hair over to the side and release those curls from my scalp in the back. Take a little bit more product and i'll rub it over the spots where i see frizz and then i scrunch again being super gentle, then i flip my hair over to the other side and do the exact same thing so using one styling product for your wash Day is going to decrease the amount of time you're spending styling your hair, it's going to decrease the amount of time your hair takes to dry. It'S going to give you volume and your curls are going to turn out looking really natural and soft and just beautiful. Then i will plot for about 15 minutes. I have an entire video on exactly how and why i plop over on my channel. So after that 15 minutes i take out the plop and then i'm just going to scrunch out the last of the water that my hair is still holding on to again being really gentle. As i scrunch and i flip my hair over to the side to get my curls laying the way i want them and scrunch out the water and do the same thing on the other side, then what i'm going to do is flip. My hair back like that and take a small little claw clip to pin up that top section. This is going to create lift and volume on the top, and it just keeps my hair out of my face because i like to air dry until i feel the crunchy gel cast forming and once i feel that crunchy gel cast, i will either diffuse or continue Air drying - and here i am diffusing - i have a diffusing video over on my channel. So if i air dry once, i feel that crunchy cast i'll take out that claw, clip and flip my part from side to side every. So often this is going to create a ton of volume with air drying and when i flip it, i kind of massage my roots to make sure they aren't any curls that are sticking to my scalp. Once my hair is totally dry, i'm either going to use righteous roots, rx or the innate life rose, hair, elixir to scrunch out the crunch, and today i'm going to be using the rose hair elixir. So i take three drops and then i smooth it over my hair. This is going to reduce frizz and it's going to add, moisture and shine to your hair. This step isn't totally necessary, but i see a big difference in my hair. When i do, then i take a little bit more oil and scrunch it into my ends. If your hair is on the frizzier side, i would suggest that you skip this step and just smooth it in instead of scrunching. Then i'm going to flip my head over and fluff up my roots to add even more volume - and here are my finished results.
