Hello, everybody and welcome back to my channel, I'm Jamie Joe and today I've got my new product, curly hair wash routine for you. This is such a super highly requested video on my channel, and it has been for years as well as on my latest Instagram poll. You guys have been super interested to see my no products routine. I think I'm a half of you guys are just curious to see what my hair dries like without products, because you think I fake having curly hair weird. But I know a lot of you out really interested because you can't actually find curly hair products where you're from, but you can't afford them or in this current day and age you're stuck inside and you're, maybe you're running out of products because of the coronavirus. This is the results of my a no product wash day. I really love washing my hair and then not applying products. After because I get such defined results, I do lack a little bit of the volume that I normally love and there are a few other cons that I kind of explain throughout the video of not using product, but I think it is such an easy routine. If you just have shampoo and conditioner, but more of the story is either way, if you have curly hair, you can make it look good to find and frizz free without spending a lot of money on products which is really what I want to show you guys In today's video I also wanted to send a big love to all of you guys. I know things are a little bit crazy and upsetting in the world today with this virus and all the things that are going on, so I'm sending in my big love to you. Please message me on Instagram: if you want to chat and follow me there, if you want to be entertained, because I post daily, maybe a little bit too much actually to all the countries who are really badly affected by this virus. Sending my love stay inside wash your hands, do all the things. Okay, hope you enjoy this video and I hope you learn something about how to style your hair without products, let's hop straight into the video, so guys, I'm starting off by hopping in the shower here. What a guest I'm going to cleanse my hair really really well now, I've actually talked about the importance of cleansing your scalp on this channel many times, because I think that it is very important, as I just said so. I actually like to use a scrub once a week. This is a crystal robin cscope sea salt purifying scrub. It is so good for cleansing your hair, especially if you have an oily scalp. I tend to get an oily scalp by the end of the week, from products build up and from dancing and sweating at the gym and then also someone who only washes their hair once a week. So using shampoo such a cleanser once a week. In my opinion, for my personal, hair type is the best option. So if you have similar heads up to me, 3a 3b thin hair, maybe try out washing your hair once a week and it using your shampoos. I'M going to really thoroughly cleanse my scalp with this woody sea salt scrub, and I would like to really massage this in, as you can see, getting rid of any product build up any dandruff and any dirt that has accumulated in my hair over the week and As you can see, I'm not I'm directly bringing that cleanser on the ends of my hair, I'm only keeping that on my scalp and then when I'm washing my hair out, you can see that the cleanser still gets through all the hair, but I'm not directly applying It on them on the ends, because I don't want them to get dry because they are dry by nature. Leave that scrub links in the description box. I know it's quite expensive, so I'm going to link an alternative scrub. Instead, this is the Frank body scrub. It is really great if it works a charm. Just the same also, this cleanser is optional. You can just use your regular shampoo. I just a little bit extra with cleansing my scalp some times, but yeah. Your regular shampoo will also do just fine. So next I'm going to move on to conditioning now, I'm using this pan to my seller pen, what Pantene my seller conditioner! It is silicone free and I really love it. It is from the aloe vera range. It smells amazing and it is super super moisturizing. That'S so that's why I'm using it for this particular wash routine. I like to apply this from the lengths of my hair down and I'm not touching my roots with this - I'm very lightly spreading it on the top, but I'm not smashing it into my roots because that's going to create a lot of oiliness and now I'm really Working this in the length of my hair, I'm making sure to super moisturize the ends especially and to just you know, look in any fuzziness and fuzziness from the split ends that I currently have, because I need a haircut then, what I'm going to do when it's Time to wash it out after I've done all the other things that I want to do in the shower that sounded weird and all the other things that you need to do in the shower. Wait. Wait. I skipped a whole section, I'm going to detangle in this video. My hair is not knotty at all, which is kind of unusual, so I'm using this Denman brush to get the knots out whatever knots are there normally Mae has a lot not either than this. Just letting you know so, I didn't lose too much hair today, which was really good, but I'm just going to detangle my hair and then I'm going to rinse it out, but I'm not gon na rinse it out entirely. I'M going to leave a decent amount of product in my hair because I want to keep it moisturized and that's really kind of the only product. That'S going to be left in my hair after this, because I'm not going to be applying any more so make sure you're not stripping your hair completely of the conditioner. You want to leave a little bit in there to act as a leave-in conditioner. So, as you can see, I'm going to add the tiniest drop of product into my palm and as I'm getting the water out of my hair, it's just going to break coats, my hair a little bit with that conditioner, but it's not adding too much product. We just want to make sure that there is enough moisture in our hair so that it's not for Izzy when I step out of the shower, and it dries so now, I'm going to give my hair one brush with this Denman before I get out of the Shower now, I'm just quickly going to wear a robe because I'm not about to stand there in my towel, so I'm wearing this robe. I also hate the feeling of wet hair on my arms and shoulders. You guys know that it is the worst feeling ever comment below if you hate that feeling, because I hate it, I had to just ran my brush through one last time before I got out so as you can see, my hair is really like defined, and that Goes are clumped together. What we're going to do now is we're going to split and properly part my hair down the middle with the same brush. You can really use any brush at this point. It doesn't matter, but I personally like to really give myself it defines and prominent centerline now you don't have to do this. If you don't like that, you can pick the your hair, naturally parts on it doesn't really matter, but I'm going to give my hair a few more brush, throughs and kind of just pull it off my scalp, so that it's not sticking and flat to my hair. When it dries, I'm just pulling the hair off of my scalp to give it that you know volume that I want this way, you're also going to get really nicely defined curls. This is probably why my curls come together and form these really nice bring lips, because I'm just keeping them together in the brush, adding a few coils around my hair as well super define my hair and to make sure those parts aren't going to be fuzzy next Thing I'm going to do is I'm going to start to scrunch my hair, and you want to listen out for this sound. That is a good sound. That means your hair's got enough moisture in it and it's going to dry without frits. So I'm just really focusing on scrunching up my curls to give them a little bit more definition, and this is just going to enforce my natural curl pattern a little bit more. I'M just going to do this on both sides and I'm making sure to focus on the crown of my head. So don't forget about this back part, because you don't want to have nice volume here, but then the back of your head be like flat and then come out of the end with triangle: curls. That is not an option so make sure you are really focusing on the back of your head. As what my next step is, I'm going to take a microfiber towel to scrunch my hair as well. You can just use a regular t-shirt, but I don't suggest using a cotton towel that you would normally use to dry your hair because that's gon na create frizz and we don't want frits, especially when we don't have extra products put in our hair afterwards to tame Them use a microfiber towel or a t-shirt, and very gently scrunch and cup, your hair with it. This is just going to reduce some of that moisture to make the drying process a little bit easier, and it's going to continue to enforce that cold pattern that, like I, was talking about before, and just keeping scrunching and scrunching and scrunching until it is damp. So you don't want it to be dry and frizzy, but you don't want it to be soaking away any more. So that's when I would know to stop. That is pretty much all I do for this routine. Now you have the long thing drying it ed drying takes forever. I don't know why it just does, especially when your curly girl so be patient, touch your hair. Don'T sleep on your hair? Don'T flood in your hair to put it in a ponytail, leave the curls to be just leave them be okay, so guys this is just my two. Our check in my hair is probably about 60 % dry at this point, but I just wanted to show you what it look like in the midst of the drying process. So try not to touch your hair too much and just leave it be, as I said before, and it should be drying very nicely at this point. Okay, so this is my hair fully air dried, as you can see. So this is my hair fully air dry. Without product that really holds my hair, I don't actually have a lot of volume and without diffusing, I also don't have a lot of volume. This is how my natural curls dry, with a no product in them. Of course, I really carefully scrunch them and I finger coiled a few, but if I don't have overly fuzzy hair, naturally, which is really I am quite blessed with that, but I also do take really good care of it in the shower, as you saw so that Type of routine is going to reduce the fuss. Now I also get a lot less buzz when I air dry. My hair, like I did today, but I believe the last step of this no products, curly, hair routine, would be to just fluff out my curls. A little bit and separate some of the big clumps, so, as you can see, look that is amazing. It'S very carefully because my girls definitely clump together and when you separate them, you get a little bit more volume now, because you guys knock. There is no Jimmy Joe killing every teen without shaking. Let'S do this just very carefully, because I don't want fuzz because there's no products kind of locking in my curl, so I'm being fizzy. I don't want to overdo it. I'M just gon na shake up the Ritz. Just a little little bit, I'm so happy, it actually looks so good so guys. This is the finished result of my no product, curly, hair or ice routine. I think you can get really really great results when you don't use products - and I know it's quite hard to find products in a lot of the countries that you guys are from / in this quarantine. You might be running out of your products and unable to get them, so I hope this routine really helps you in your current situation. Right now, I will give you a few cons to this routine. I personally find that my hair doesn't last as long I'll wake up sorry I'll wake up in my head a little bit fuzzier and flatter than I would if I wake up on my second day after I've styled with products just because my hair doesn't happen as Much in it to keep it in place, so I find that my curls aren't necessarily dropped, but it gets a little bit flatter at the top and a little bit more fuzzy, especially on the second day, which is fine, because then I can kind of refresh it. A little bit, but that's kind of my downside to doing this, no products wash wash routine. My other downside is, I don't like to diffuse when I don't when I'm not using products, because my hair does get fuzzier as well, so it also takes a little bit longer to dry. So you have to be a lot more patient. That'S probably the two downsides to this routine. Apart from that, you really can't go wrong. I think mine actually looks really nice and it feels so soft and so hydrated and the curls are really shiny and they're super super defined, which is such a bonus for curly girls. So I hope you enjoyed this no product or wash routine, and I know you guys have been really curious to see how my hair dries without product as well. So, yes, it is still legitimately curly products don't make money. Currently they just kind of keep it in place and help me style it the way I want my hair to be Sal sure you check out some of my other videos if you're bored and you're stuck inside. I hope I'm entertaining enough, and I hope that you can learn something about your curls. I'Ve got heaps of videos coming soon, some vlogs and workout routine videos and some like what I eat in a day, things as well a little bit more lifestyle as well as a lot of curly stuff, so stay tuned for that subscribe. Like this video comment below, if you want to try out this routine - and let me know if it will work to pick you - I love you guys, and can I wait to see you back for more videos?

Sambhavi Shrivastava: A lot of beginners have misunderstood this routine. She's been a natural for 4 years so her natural curls are super healthy. If you're someone just beginning don't feel bad about your hair not turning out the same way. Frizzy hair is natural if you're just starting out. Patience is all it is and you hair will look as amazing as Jayme

Oumaima Nadif: I followed your tips and for the first time in 17 years my mom complimented my hair

kim kim: People can't believe she is naturally beautiful because they feel insecure about themselves.. Everybody is beautiful, another woman's beauty is not the absence of your own.

leverone sarah: I don’t see how people could be so ignorant and deny that your hair is curly. They are probably envious because your hair is Goals!!!

Ashley Harris: Without product my curls are too soft and aren't defined and turn into a fluff. I also have 3b hair.‍♀️

iiKittyDR: Why does she even bother using products Those curls are amazing

Hannah-Sofia: Could literally NEVER do this my hair is so fluffy and frizzy without product

Jaziba Iftikhar: This is such a good video! Curly hair is so expensive to take care of and the products don’t always work :(

Alana Miles: yes girl i haaaate the feeling of water running down my back i have to have a towel around my shoulders and i hate putting clothes on when my skin is wet ugh btw you are so beautiful i love your hair i actually have 3b 3c hair but most of your routines work for my hair like that flaxseed jell you made love it thnk you so much for the videos

Emi S: This is perfect for the whole quarantine situation. Gives me a break from using products in my hair! Tbh im only walking to my living room so who cares if there's some frizz LOL

Amna Al Hawaj: If my hair looked this good without products, I would never use them!

inflatedick: I used to hate having curly hair because I could never style it. But after seeing you so happy with your hair and how simple your routine is, I think I’ll try again and try to be confident about it!!

Katherine: Omg your hair looks so healthy and soft without products in it! Definitely evidence of how well you take care of your hair

Shabnum TV: Wowzers! I've been transitioning for the last two years, and this is the single most useful video I've watched. I have dry, 3b hair, but it's quite fine, so quickly gets greasy at the roots and dry at the ends. I used sea salt with my regular shampoo, and my scalp felt AMAZING, and did wonders for my baby hairs. Using conditioner as the last step was such a brilliant tip - I've wasted so much money on products that turn out to be just too heavy for my fine hair. For the first time since transitioning, my hair was soft, glossy and well-defined. Thank you so much!

Veronica Saitta: Please consider turning the water off when you massage shampoo/conditioner in your hair, as well when you detangle! It saves TONS of water! Btw I can't wait to try this routine your hair is amazing

Alex figari: This seems like a great routine for vacations! Quick, easy and effective. Thank you

Darliny Ayala: I have 3c - 4b curls and I tried your routine. My hair never looked better. It didn't last as long, but the bounce, volume, and definition was EVERYTHING

Jenifer Serrano: I've been doing this for the past 2 weeks and I'm soooo in love with my hair I do this every wash day and if I want it to last, I use castor oil styling gel

Beyan beyan: you helped my hair go from supper frizzy to beautiful defined curls!! thank you

Lady Cyberella: Her beauty is on a different level. Beautiful curls too!

Anna Wood: Thank you so much for all the love and effort you put in your channel!! You are such a big inspiration to me, my hair has been looking really good lately using your routines. Thank you!!!❤❤

Rachel Gewargis: Hi Jayme, thank you so much for this video. You have inspired me so much to embrace my curly hair

Amna Lodhi: When her no product wash routine is actually your normal routine...

Lotus Flower Life: I could NEVER get away without using curly hair products, you've got GORGEOUS curls

Honey Honey: This is perfect! I don’t want to be putting gel or curl smoothie just for my curl to be define when I’m just putting them in a bum

Cassandra: Your videos have helped me so much. I’ve started scrunching my hair when rinsing out shampoo and conditioner and my curls have been looking so much better ❤️❤️

Joslyn Kuchinski: LOVE THIS!!! Thanks for the detailed suggestions (the sound the hair is supposed to make when scrunching) excites to try this myself this week!

Ashia: You’ve actually helped me so much more then you can imagine, thanks

ionibean: There is NOTHING worse than wet thick twists slapping on your back, and it's worse with product in hahah!

SinyAvi: Thanks for everything that u do for us, we love you girl ✨

Jazmin Jordan: Love this, Jayme! Beautiful results! I need to try this which I haven't done in a while.

Havva D: my hair actually looks MUCH better without products, I tried this method out several times and my hair turned out to look much healthier! Thank you

Tess: Your Do's and Donts video helped me so much! I realized I'm putting too much products in my roots (not as dramatic as the video but still way too much!) and I realized I'm ignoring the back/crown of my hair! Thank you so so much!!❤️

lExI: I just tried this and it worked so well I haven’t seen my hair pop this much in months

Ana.: Muito obrigada! Que rainha! Sempre me salvando! Hahaha ❤

زينب بستنجي: I followed your steps..and the result is really fantastic.. Thank you

Alex Pond: Love your curls! I am transitioning for a month now and I use a face steamer to refresh second day hair, sometimes it still works for the third. Gamechanger, because it's not realy that wett and dries faster! Almost wake up and ready to go. If you used product on wash day and the first ingredient is water it will even reactivate it.

Nadeige Singh: Just love how amazingly shiny it still is I am definitely trying this out soon!

Aisha Yassy: We’re all gonna get some nice curls and wear them to our living room and kitchen. #quarantinelife

Frosty Azallya: I have like 3a 3b hair but I also have shaved sided and I'm finally growing them put after years and years so I've kinda set back on being able to take care of it. So wish me luck on basically transitioning from no hair on my sides to my 3a/3b hair coming back on my whole head

It's Andie: You read my mind. I was wondering how I could style my hair with no products since I can't go out and I don't want to run out of products ☹️ Thank you. This is very useful

Lauren G: imma wear these curls to my living room

Micica: Thanks SO much, this video really helped, it gave me amazing volume & definition !!

S: Beautiful, thank you! I'll be trying this next time Seeing how long your hair is when it's wet compared to how it is dry completely defeats every hair dresser who ever told me I couldn't have long hair because the curls wouldnt hold under the weight of the length. My hair is fine and super light and will curl from the scalp if it's happy so screw them! But the world needs more curly hair dressers :(

periel: Wow. Amazing. Your hair looks gorgeous. Thanks for this demonstration. I’m going to try it!

Salma Ali: perfect time to try this while we are home!! love this video!!

Adi Kalila Abraham: It's really supportive how much you help people with curly hair with tips and tricks Wich I'm sure so many of us can relate ❤️ however, I've tried it before and trust me grl, it was a disaster my hair is a little bit thicker than yours and my curly a alot tighter than yours, so I think that for people with medium to thick hair it's not really working but I fully appreciate it❤️ But omg your hair is so beautiful and shiny

Mieshka Gerona: I tried this today, and honestly, I'm surprised and I followed the steps, it is more curly even though it is still soaking wet without the products, I will update whenever it is already dry.❤️ Update It went wow honestly great with no product, I'm loving it I can save more money and relax my hair without the products, no more long steps. Thank you so much. It's a bit frizzy cause I'm still learning, but it is normal and it is very defined even without the products.

Ruth G: Your videos are so helpful!! And you said that you wash your hair once a week, but my hair after like 3 days is already a frizzy and super tangled mess. Any tips to make it to a week with still soft and defined curls? (I have your same hair type btw)

Mojo: I try this method and the results is amazing , my curls looks more definited and no frizz at all thank so much for making this video

cat dog: this is exactly what i need i just had a mental breakdown and cried because mousse was running down my arms.

Sena .O: Just wow. Imagine your hair being this healthy. Mashallah

ur fav girlboss: Omg hi Jayme! I'm not early at all but your hair looks amazing! I have 2b 2c and 3a but some of your tips are really helpful to me. Have an great day!

Via’s World: Your videos are so helpful ❤️!!

Kady Reign: If my hair looked like this, I would never use product

Joanna Wagdy: I thought that my frizz was because of not using much product but you just proved me wrong! Thanks jayme

Gabrielly: thanks to your tips from all your videos my hair is looking so much healthier and non frizzy. thankssss i love your videos u such a sweetheart

nads: this video helped me SO much, so thank you a lot!! my hair is straight at the roots, gets wavy and then curly, is there a way i can encourage it to curl from the roots? :)

Molly: I’ve got 2b/2c curls and I kinda hate it. When I air dry my hair they get so frizzy. Most of the time my hair doesn’t even stay curly either. If I touch my hair/sleep on it my curls go flat and get even frizzier. I wish I had 3a/3b curls like Jayme. Her hair is so pretty and well defined. If I have to have curly hair, I want my hair to look like hers.

Mor Tahan: Can u show your entire routine until the next wash? U are stunning! Thanks for this video, i dont use products ❤️

Cykrela Kalee: I'm so happy to see that you uploaded a video!☺️ Hope your family and you are doing well!!

Cathy Brunton: Any advice on curls that droop after about two hours? I would say I have 3B curls. I love your videos, you are so beautiful!

Sienna Bullen: i honestly have no clue what my hair type is, some parts are nearly pin straight, some a extremely wavy then some towards the bottom turn into ringlets, usually turns straight will try this out xxx your beautiful

Paige Loren: I’ve always brushed my hair like this and scrunched my hair so it’s nice to know I’ve been doing something right. Also my hair is exactly the same as your except the colour

Isabelle Tarano Garcia: Thanks! This is exactly what I need. I can't afford curly hair products and the cheap ones kinda not work for me. I get really frustrated because I do want to have my natural curls to be at their best. I will start this routine right now

jeffsycks: Wow! Gorgeous gorgeous! Such beautiful curls! Thank you

Frii Tii: Finally! This is what I was looking for thank you!

Shivangi Parashar: Whenever I do a no product routine my roots go flat Ur hair is BEAUTIFUL by the Jayme❤️

Jenny Cosgrave: Your hair is STUNNING!!!

Kali Work: My hair is naturally really big right after I get out of the shower. It looks small when it's wet but when it's 100% dry I can barely fit my hand around it It's kinda funny how small my hair looks when it's in braids compared to when it's loose

kate bowes: My hair is just a big nest of frizz with no products it’s a mess, I still get frizz even with products but hope that changes cause been doing the curly girl method for about 4 months. Love your hair as always xxx

Charlotte Carter: how do you get your curls to stay separated after you pull them apart, mine always clump back together and I look like I have just 4 big curls in either side of my head.

Leena: You’re gorgeous!!!♥️♥️ and your hair is goals!!♥️ l really love your channel and thank you for the very informative videos. ♥️♥️

Maryam Mortazavi: I was just admiring her beauty the whole video

Denisa Ivasca: Love your curls!

Tiffany Alvord: OMG THIS WAS A BLESSING!!! My wash day was todayyyyyyyyyyyy

This is Me: Your hair is stunning and you are a ray of sunshine on youtube :)

Sammy Bateman: I have a question! :) So my hair has a range of different curl patterns (from 2a to 3a) probably because I just stopped using a curly iron about a few months ago. The top of my layers can get curly (3a) but by the end of the day my bottom layer will end up looking more like 2a and 2b curl type. Is there a way I can fix this? Or a way I can retrain my bottom layer to be like my top layer? It’s so awkward having half of my hair curly and the other half wavy. Any suggestions to help with this?

Scott Adams: Thank you for this , I am absolutely trying this!

Lizzie Fullwood: Would love to know how you refresh your hair throughout the week after working out!!

Sasha Stone: You are just the cutest! Thank you for this suggestion. I love how my hair looks with products, but I prefer to be a minimalist. Not sure how this will hold up in very humid Florida, but I'm going to give it a try.

intheclouds: I dont get how she goes from thin hair to such thick hair woooww. literally magic

S Elfi: your hair looks so thin when wet and soooo thick when dry how is that possible ! youre so Lucky <3

Ameena S: YAY!!! I’m early!! Your hair looks gorgeous thanks for the amazing content

Vicky Lopez: I love your chanel, I have been straightening my hair since I was 8 and now my curls are ruinned but after watching your videos I want to recover them is so helpfull

Alyssa V: your hair is so beautiful!!!❤️ i have 2b hair if i don’t brush it then it looks really messy but if i do brush it then it gets frizzy (that’s without product btw) if i use product, then i don’t brush it and it looks good

BriEntAnderson: I'm a dude and my hair is curly as yours , since the pandemic it's the first time I ever grew it out long . I use the head and shoulders coconut and air dry.

iiwery eveii: jayme ur hair looks so healthy i can’t even image how it looks irl

Lora L. Charles: Beautiful hair!

Missy Maddie: the ends of my hair look identical to yours, but I can never get my roots to curl up no matter what products I use/how much I scrunch. They're always wavy at best
