Hello, my love's and welcome back to my youtube channel so for two days, video. I'M going to be talking to you guys all about my hair care routine, as you guys have requested in my last video now I know you're probably wondering how the heck am. I gon na talk about my hair care routine when my hair is looking like hot mess. Well, today I felt like being lioness and I just didn't want to stab my hair. I am embracing the frizz in all its glory today and that's that I'm just I just honestly was I'm so lazy and I didn't feel like styling my hair and I didn't feel like straightening, my hair. So I just let me I'm just letting my hair live today. I am embracing fro and the frizz in all of its natural glory. So before we get started, I'm gon na kind of give you guys a brief rundown on my hair care routine. Before I show you guys stuff my stuff so every week I wash and treat my hair no matter what every week - and I have been doing this routine for the past year and a half and my hair has seemed to be really really loving it now. For my treatments that I use once a week, there is a big difference between doing a moisturizing treatment and a protein treatment, and you really need to figure out what it is your hair needs in order for you to kind of get the same results. My hair likes a combination of protein and moisturizing treatments where, for other people it may be, you guys need more moisture and just a little bit of protein or more protein and a little bit of moisture, you do have to figure out what is best for your Hair, although we look like we have the same textures or the same color or we do the same things to our hair, that doesn't mean our hair is the same and it doesn't mean our hair needs or can follow the same routine. Like there's been so many times, well watch another youtubers, video and I'll like try to follow their tips and steps, and I'm like this is not working for my hair and then it clicked in my head. You know what, like her hair care: routine, isn't gon na work for my hair, because your hair is a combination of what you eat, how you care for it and your environmental surroundings. So for me, I found that this hair care routine that I'm going to show you guys is the best routine for my hair - and this is what I have been doing for a very long time now and you guys can try it. You can see if it works for your hair, but I strongly recommend recommend I'm not even speaking English today. I strongly recommend that you guys do some more research into your hair. Do a couple of tests talk to a hair, stylist or elbow bla yourselves, that you guys really trust to figure out whether or not your hair needs protein more or moisture? More so because my hair has been color treated, it has been blow-dried, it has been straightened. It has been fried, it has been through the waterworks, it's always out in the Sun, because I love being outside. In the summer. It has been in salt water. It has been in chlorine, water, it has been in lake water. It has been through a lot this summer, so I like to do a combination of protein and moisturizing treatments so for a combination of protein and moisturizing treatments. I do use the Shea Moisture line and a lot of their treatments do have a little bit of protein. In it and then moisture, and then, if I feel like my hair needs a little bit more moisture to combat the strength of the protein that is in the treatment, I will add a little bit of my hello hair mask all over my hair to kind of Soften it up and restore that moisture. So if you guys would like to see step by step of this routine or of my hair care routine, then just keep watching okay. So here's a quick shot of all the products that I'm going to be using. I will have them all linked down below, so you guys can check them out. If you would like to to start everything off, I'm going to be doing a hair treatment first, so I just finished working out and I'm going to let my hair down - and this is kind of what I am left with. I'M going to turn my shower on and I'm going to set my shower to a lukewarm stuff, hot temperature, and I'm just going to rinse my hair with the water. This is going to help open up my cuticles and get rid of any product build-up that I may have on my hair and then I'm going to squeeze all the excess water out of my hair and start adding my treatment to it. Now. The first products that I'm going to add to my hair is the Shea Moisture manic una, honey and Maruko oil. Intensive hydration hair mask I'm. So sorry, if I didn't say that right, I I can't I'm sorry I don't know, but I'm going to comb this throughout. My hair and make sure all of my hair is completely covered because I have been spending so much time out in the Sun and in the pool and in lakes and in oceans and swimming like a little mermaid. That I am that my hair just needs some really good moisture and then I'm going to add a little bit of my hello, hair hydrating mask in island, escape to my ends to kind of add a little bit more nutrients to the colored parts of my hair. Once my hair has been completely saturated in this product, I'm going to tie it up in a tight top knot and secure it with an elastic band. Now, if I have errands to run, I will kind of just leave it like this and just go right around the six with my wolves or I will take a plastic bag and wrap that around my head and then take a shower towel or a hair towel. I guess you would call it and I would wrap my hair with the hair towel now. This is going to help seal in that moisture and allow the heat that escapes from your head to activate the treatment, naturally and kind of penetrate the hair and keep your hair all nice and healthy, who else later, two hours later honestly, I'm sitting at home - and I have nothing to do. I will leave this treatment in all day and then I will jump back into the shower and kind of decide between my purple shampoo and my regular shampoo, which one I will use that week. Now, purple shampoo candy a little bit drying on curly hair, so I try to alternate it every other week or every two weeks. So this week was a normal shampoo week and I am using the garden a whole blends, shampoo and smoothing coconut. I think that's what's called this product I have been using for the past month and I honestly love it, and this is me just using the whole bottle of conditioner, because you know that's how I roll that's. That'S how I roll so once I have added my conditioner to my hair. I then to continue with my shower: leave that conditioner in my hair to kind of soak in and then I soak myself up and take my regular shower, do what I have to do and then I will go in and I will rinse my hair out and That is it that is it guys, and that is my hair care routine and all of its glory. Honestly, I do this every single week and although it made I made it seem very quick and simple in this video. It actually takes me quite a bit of time, so I always make sure that I carve out a day once a week to make sure that my hair is properly cared for, so that it can remain healthy throughout all the coloring and all the heat styling that I do also next week because we hit our 300 lights in my previous video. I will be vlogging my salon experience for you guys and I'm so excited to share that with you guys, because I know it's something that I get asked about a lot. So you guys will get to see how my hair style is cuts and colors in my hair and what colors we do use to achieve this look. We will be going a little bit lighter just let you know just to warn you I'm a little nervous. My curls are a little nervous, but we will be going a little bit lighter because I'm obsessed with being blonde so yeah that should be fun. So I'm going to be bringing you guys along with me for that experience. Also, I will be attending Jen beauty and YC this year and I am so incredibly excited. This is going to be my first time in New York City and I'm so happy that if she has invited me to attend their event one more time this year and I'm so incredibly excited for it. You guys have no idea. So if you are going to join Beauty New York, let me know down in the comments below also, if you have been to New York also, we do some recommendations down in the comments below. What'S your favorite restaurant, where do you guys go sightseeing? What did you guys see? I would love to hear from you guys. I love you guys so much and remember to tune in next week, so you guys can hear my salon experience and you guys can see everything from start to finish. I love you guys so much and I will see you later bye.

Arlene Macias: I've grown to like my natural curls all thanks to you ❤️ I have been watching you since you first started and I hope you notice I like your videos every week

Liz Pena: A tip that I use when I know I'm going swimming is to co wash my hair before swimming. I soak my entire head in water then condition from root to tip, combing the conditioner in and then doing a braid. Leave as much conditioner as you can. Your hair will soak up much less chlorine or salt water that way. Also coconut oil works wonders!

Elsie Webber: I love you and you're vidoes! It took me so long to embrace my curly big hair and it's so inspiring to see someone with similar hair have such confidence! I love you!!!

VIOLET W: Your hair looks gorgeous !! You are actually inspiring me to go natural. I have 3c hair so I may just transition to texturizing instead of all the way relaxing.

India Bastien: Yes!! Frizz no frizz you look amazing! This is so helpful too Ashley! And kudos for the boyfriend helping you film again!!

awwlexis: Love this routine!!

Tandi Chabwa: you're sooo gorgeous girl! keep inspiring :)

Candy L: Loved the video! Just this weekend I used the Whole Blends conditioner (honey) n I love it! When I saw you using the brand I was like yassss! Lol

Nawal: Frizz or no frizz, you're still such a beautiful person inside & out!!

Deangelo Mayweather: I love your hair it goes well with your face and skin tone

Aesthetic Beauty: I used the hello hair mask and it worked so great for my hair my curls are soo bouncy thank you for the recommendation!

Indi: love your hair! Can you please do a workout routine? Or maybe a week in your food? I'd be really interested in that.

Roseangelie Figueroa: congrats on 11k!!Wow I have been subscribed since the very beginning like when u had 100 or less subbies.Since my hair is 2c/3a I love deep conditioning it cuz it makes my hair more manageable.I was 3b/3c when I was born btw.Love you

liveloveGlam: Thanks for sharing your routine!! Also nice job with the Garnier videos, they came out great :) Hope to meet you at Gen Beauty! It was so awesome attending back in May, My sis and I are looking into going to the NY one. Just haven't figured out accommodations yet, are you flying in or driving?

Maud: I love what you said about all our hair being different although it might look the same, and therefore a routine might work for you and not for me! But I do have some questions about your routine. I see you do your deep conditioning on "dirty" (it does not seem dirty, but it's not washed, is it?) hair: do you feel it penetrates well? And after your treatments you use a regular shampoo: does it contain sulphates? And if so, doesn't it strip your hair and make it loose all the moisture and/or protein you just worked in with the deep conditioner? Am asking because I wash before my deep conditioning for this reason, but maybe your order of doing it might benefit as well or even more.

Paris Rodriguez: Hi Ashley! Loved the video girl!! But just wondering, what lip color/shade are you wearing? It's so so pretty!

Cindy Gee: do you know if the Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Hair Masque you used in this video is for all hair types? :)

Mima: Cant wait to see your hair appointment vlog, im bleaching and coloring my curls by myself with the helping hand of my boyfriend. Im from germany and hairtylists here just have no clue how to color hair the right way... so im curious what technique and colors your hairstylist is using!!!!

Lavinia L: Love the big hair! And the video :)

Naturally Blessed: love your hair!!

A Boogie: Definitely one of my favourite youtuber❤️

Lisbeth Rubi: First of all, this video was so informative and frizz or no frizz, you still look great! Second, I'm so excited that you're coming to NY!! If you wanna be a full-on tourist, you need to go to Times Square and Central Park loll, but also Patsy's Restaurant is soo good!

Naturally Najah: How do you keep your hair from getting brassy ?

tytana marie: I love every single one of your videos

Yarleni Suarez: I am obsessed with your hair color! May I know what color you used?

Lauren Foster: I am OBSESSED with your channel. Love it. But I am confused as to why you would deep condition BEFORE and not AFTER shampooing. I always deep condition after. Is there a specific reason why you do it before? Arent you undoing all the great moisture by shampooing it all out?

D Farah: How do you take care of your hair between treatments? I always have the problem of sweating (like a man) at the gym and then not knowing how to take care of my curls. I don't want to over wash my hair, but I don't want to leave the sweat and grime in them either.

Geraldine Duncan: don't justify your hair looks beautiful

tj8422: Awww! Still gorgeous :)

Angela Barnes: What hair products do you use when you get out of the shower?

ShannahLee713: Should I do Moisture and Protein treatments the same day or alternate it?

Angelica Santos Sierra: Whats your lip color? Looks amazing

Aesthetic Beauty: I'm gonna go to gen beauty just to see you! I cant wait, i live in New York I hope you have fun exploring!

Zaina Amer: You're gorgeous

zinia greene: 11k wow ive been subscribed to you seen 1k ...thats amazing

Jasmine Williams: Loved your video! Btw where did you purchase your necklace?

Melany Mergoni: You're really pretty!!

Aud Chap: you are gorgeous..waw. Could you tell me which color is on ur lips ? i love it !

TheMomLife: One of my new fav you tuber !!!! What lipstick are you wearing

Olivia Barr: You're beautiful what lipstick do you have on?

Sandra Farrow: too much shampoo! that kills your hair just put a bit on your scalp scrub and rise

Helen Fesshaye: I really love your lipstick! Can you tell me about it??

Sade Moore: What extensions does she use

Nia R: What's your hair color? Like what color did you dye your hair?

Orquidea Estrella: Why do you straighten when you look so beautiful with your natural hair

India Bastien: Yus vlog salon experience!

Moni- Lindley: Goodness the frizz! ohhhhh the frizz! just suprised me alittle when I first saw that. Not any warning huh?

BeautyyFitness: I swear you hair is 3a/3b it looks just like mine. Lol.

Armi Armi: I swim several times a week in an indoor pool and also have my hair colored. I've never had problems with dry hair before but the combination of those two things really dried my hair out. Within a few days, my hair was rejuvenated and no longer snarls. A small amount of Argan Rain shampoo worked wonders! I will continue to purchase this shampoo.
