Hi everyone welcome back to my channel, so in today's video I'm going to be showing you guys a couple, different methods on how to sleep with your curl. So if you're anything like me, it can be the absolute struggle to sleep with your curls and then wake up with them. So looking good, especially when you have longer hair, can get a little tricky. So I'm going to show you guys my favourite ways that I like to sleep with my hair and order to preserve my curls and have them continue to look fresh and crisp and curly the next morning. So if you would like to see how I sleep with my girlfriend, please keep on watching. Ok, so the first method I'm going to show you guys, is my absolute favorite. This is probably the one that I wear to bed the most and it's just the easiest for me and that is a bonnet, beautiful, color eyes. You'Re not come on. I actually picked this up from Walmart and it was in gold packaging. So I thought I was about how the fancy gold bond in it, and then it turned out brown off myself. It'S like silk material, which is really going to help your curls stand place on eye and even if they juniors around inside here, they won't get messed up. Because of this material. And that's why? If you sleep on a cotton, pillowcase, you'll notice that your curls end up looking more frizz need a next morning and not as decline, and this material will help prevent that. So I like to just grab my hair and I like to put in a very fun so what I'll do is just take my hair tie and just go one over my hair, like that, I take my bonnet and just stretch it out like this. There was a bottom there. This is just the cutest thing ever so, whenever I wear my hair to bed and up on it, I think I get the best result and I just always wake up with time. Curls with me flexing and they're, not Freddie. So this is my favorite method by far okay method number two. So if you do have filled pillowcases and you don't want to wear a bonnet to bed, then what I suggest is a spring, your hair and a very loose fun - and this is my second most warrant hairstyle to bed. So what I like to do is paint a very loose and what you guys to see how loose this is: it's a very loose hair tie and once again I am going to do, grab my hair and put it all on top of my head, and I Take this and I go one with enjoy, and this is kind of like my Sam bun, basically that I showed you guys in my curly hair sales video, but the difference that I am using a very loose hair type in my curly hair self video. I use a very tight you're tied up way the bone stays in place, but when I'm going to bed, I do not want to using something tight, or else that will ruin micro powder. So as long as you're using a loose hair tie - and you can go to bed like this and you'll still wake up with great with some curls okay, so this next method is actually something that my grandma has shown me every time I was a little girl And she wears her hair like this. Every single night and all it is, is a scarf I'm just using a regular scarf today, but you could use an actual head scarf. If you is like too and a silk one would probably work even better. It would kind of work just like the bonnet, but all you're going to want to do is once again put your hair up. So I'm just going to tie my hair once with that little pair of tie like so then I'm going to take my very few scarf and and I'm just going to ACN crisscross them in the back, bring it forward and tie a knot. And then, if the first youõll tie it again from the back and then I just press the F in so after you tie your scarf. This is what you're going to end up with, and this usually stays in place for me, but if it doesn't for you, all you have to do is take from bobby pin and then just pin the ends right here into your hair. That way, the bobby pins will help keep the scarf in place all night and up actually how my grandma does it, because my grandma sleep later crazy person, so she just bobby pins it in place and it stays perfect all night, okay guys. So those are my favorite methods that I like to do. Whenever I go and says my curls and I did show them to you guys in the order that I prefer to wear them so um on first day curls. I definitely go to bed with my bonnet. The most and then, if I'm like on two or three day, curls, where it's not quite my watch day, but I still don't really care. If micros turn out amazing. The next day I will do it be fun and if I don't have my bonnet and I will use a start instead just to hold the curls in place, so I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for watching. Please. Let me know down below in the comments, if you have any methods that you would like to share on how to sleep with curly hair, also, don't forget to get that subscribe button. LaraYahya: i shower and do my hair everyday before sleeping and it looks so beautiful and defined .. but when i sleep and wake up in the morning i find it soo messy and half straight from the top .. thanks for this helpful video .. and i wish u do a curly hair routine for mousse and cream

Aryssa Petersen: does anybody know what i can do because i wear a bonnet every night but by the time i wake up my bonnet is not on my head

_nahla esha_: struggle is real. i have a long curly hair too i sleep in braids but the curl pattern doesnt look the same next day. thanks for this video

Bunny: I just started to wear my hair curly and I don’t know what to do but this helped so much to obtain what I call the lion mane

Nicole Vannoy: In case no one has mentioned this: use a scrunchie to hold your hair up. It's less likely to leave a crease.

Mini Mixers: In the morning my hair literally looks like a nest of psychotic rats having a shower tames them

Hillary Morrison: Love finding new long curly hair gals on here! The silk pillow case is my favorite method, and the silk turban second. Keep up the curly hair tutorials!

ebi: girl, this video has such strong 2012 youtube vibes and i mean it in a good way, you seem so nice

Alana Faria: My curls look great right now and I'm not about to mess them up

shimmerbrite: Thanks for the great tips. I’ve been struggling since my hair has grown back from chemotherapy. I’ve gone from straight blonde hair to brown ringlets. And I have ZERO idea of how to care for them.

Amira Stephens: Another tip is to sleep with a loose bun twisted once, but put some pins in it to make sure no hair gets out. I love it bc I find bonnets uncomfortable and it works well for me :) works best using a satin pillowcase like she did!

liana: The main struggle I have with my curly hairs is not being able to braid it and do those hairstyles for more straight hair.

Marauder131: These have been helpful. I used to have beautiful curls but the past few years they've gone straighter and straighter. I'm on my "journey" to get them back. :)

Imen Maamer: yeeees finally a video that ll save my life i have long curly hair and generally my hair don't look fresh after sleeping..

Elena Mrk: *personally* when I want my hair ready in the morning I shower and while my hair is semi wet I lay in my bed and get my hair away from my neck. I kind of stretch them out on my pillow and while laying down i comb them with my fingers a little bit . This just helps them stay detangled without ruining my curl pattern♡

shabbydeb: Love this video!! Going to give them all a try. Thank you!!

Freya Smith: once my hair is in a bun it’s automatically knotty, matty and dry it’s a nightmare meaning i have to constantly wash it to revive it

Roxypups1101: Hi! I recently stumbled upon your channel, and I've been really enjoying your videos because I'm a curly girl, except I need some help! So I've been straightening my curly hair for the past 2 years and I feel like it's completely destroyed my curl pattern. I've been wearing it natural recently , but the problem is that my roots/top of hair doesn't curl? Is this because of straightening it so much? I'd really like it to be curlier because I feel like it would look better. Do you have any tips for me or things that I could do? After I shower, I diffuse it by flipping my hair upside down (thinking it would help me get more volume and curl at the top) but it doesn't work. You have gorgeous hair!!

Sarah-Jane Grau: I only just found you and I am so grateful for this video! Thank you so much! I have so so much trouble finding anyone in real life (ie: not online) with my hair type so it's really hard to get good tips. I appreciate you so much right now x

Nika: I have short curly hair, but it was helpful. Thanks!!

saibirina: You saved my curls! Thank you and now I'm subscribe to your channel! BTW your second way makes you even more beautiful!

Neelanjana Dev: It's really helpful thank you soo much for this video ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nataly Medina Music: Great video. Straight to the point.

JayA: I need help! Every time I tie my hair back, no matter how loose it is, it always loses the curl pattern when I take it out even if it’s only in for a few minutes. How do I stop this!?

amanda graham: Awesome video thanks so much for the advice I sleep with my hair in a big bun lol

Aly: Thank you for this video my hair is still looking good!!!

Sylvia: Much needed info! Thank you!!

WyattsMum: I love using the bonnet... I got so used to it I can't sleep without it on lol...trick to keep it from slipping off..sleep on a satin pillowcase!

Suzanne Moogan: I find sleeping on my long type 2 c/3a hair wurly hair a real pain. I have a silk pillow case which does help to maintain the curl pattern, I find the silk bonnet irrating beyond belief I am far to rough with my hair, as I become very impatient over tangles when I dry comb it I tend to pull at my hair which I should n't do What type are your beautiful curls?

pandalover :D: woaahhh the scarf technique really worked on my hair!! my curls look bouncy as they did the day before !!

Fay Coleman: I highly recommend using a silky type scarf you van tie it in a way that collects all the hair on the top of your head (like the pinappke method. Seeing as your hair is so long I'd say adding the loose bun would help. You het the same type of results as a bonnet but the hair is more secure and less chance of the scarf falling off.

JS: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!

Juanita Arbizu: You should do a video on dying your hair. I really want to dye my hair when it gets a bit longer but am scared it will ruin my curls but it didnt seem to hurt your curls so if you could talk about that and how it affected your hair that would be super helpful. Thanks!

Brave At Heart: I do the bonnet with a super loose bun, too.

Mac V: I usually put my hair in braids but then they look wavy and I sometimes take showers late at night and I just want to know how my hair could curl naturally during sleep when it’s drying (mind you I’m a crazy sleeper).

Georgia Leigh: if anyone sees this and knows a way to help me please reply, I’d be so so grateful. So basically I find it really really hard to sleep with my curls in, I don’t know why it’s just a habit that I’ve got into which is sleeping with my hair tied in a tight bun. Due to this I’ve developed traction alopecia and the front of my hair is literally thinning that much that i look practically bald at the front of my head. At this point I just feel so low about it and I honestly don’t know what to do. I’ve tried sleeping with my hair down but when I wake up my hairs a mess, same with a bonnet. I honestly don’t know what to do

Jennifer Singleton: You’re beautiful and thanks for the tips!

Luna Francesca: I have the exact same hair type as you! I finally found someone with my hair! yay!

Shawnee Johnston: There is no going back to my hair being down when I put it up it sucks ‍♀️

Beatrice Elena Obreja: Finally found someone with the same hair type as me <3 you're beautiful

Simone Telles: Super amei...

Destiny Sands: Hello. How do you transition into the curly girl method? I have 2c hair. I am also trying to grow it out b/c it barely comes pass my shoulders. If you have any tips for me please reply. Thanks.Oh, btw, I love your hair. How can your hair do that: go from sort of straight wavy to very big curly hair. I used to have an afro as a little kid, then it went wavy straight, than I straighten it for 2 years everyday and then it went to a poofy wavy mess and now the curls are starting to really form. Any advice will be very nice. Thanks.

amanda graham: Super cute thank you for these awesome tips hair twin lol♥️

Addy Kiras: this video saved my life now i dont have to shower and wash my hair every morning

Katherine Rives: And I thought I was the only one who slept with a bun! a hair dresser told me I should sleep with a braid and then wet my hair each morning but all that does is mess up my hair and give me knots

Carlota Figueroa: Thanks!! Very useful

Roseangelie Figueroa: yes! you and curlypenny have the exact same hair texture as me

Daniel Hernandez: Thanks, I needed this video.

Summer Sa: Thank you so much for this video I got a little problem, one of my section of my hair isn't curly just fizzy and no curls. What can I do? Please help Talk soon

mossnoth: Thank you! I will try to pin trick to get my cap to stay at night.

Herleen Braich: Does anyone know how to revive the curls after you have tied your hair up without having to wash your hair again?

SUMMER: Is it good to braid your curly hair when going to sleep? Seems like braids damage the curls ?!

Shruthi Gurumoorthy: Hey, there ! So, yeah i have been following your videos for sometime now. So, i have got like two three basic questions which you didn't answer in this or any other video. So, firstly how to apply oil on the curly hair. I have similar hairs like you. Maybe not as soft as yours, cuz i have started to follow the curly hair routine very lately. Like, if we oil without combing the hair, we get stuck in between the hair strands as those are not detangled. And if we Comb with a wide tooth Comb it brush it then it becomes extra dry and then we oil the hair. And, I have seen and felt it that it leads to a lot of breakage and HAIR FALL. So, it would be great if you could do a video on this oiling method or else reply here, it would be of really great help. And, my second doubt is i am actually confused as to what product should i start with. Like lately i found some brands like fix my curls, curl up, wow skin science, and ash. ba botanics..... and these are costly yes. So, if you could suggest as a Beginniner which product to go for, it would be highly appreciated. I am looking for a product which works on the dry and frizzy hair and show the results as i am just gonna start, so it should actually moisturize the curls really well. Please, reply, looking forward to hear from you. :)

Anggia Sinjar: I’d like to put satin scarf on my pillow and tie my hair in a bun so I don’t have to sleep and cover my hair in bonnet

L H: Thanks for the info :)

Amanda Rautio: Hi Rimi! Where do you buy the head scarf you use in method 3? Thanks, curly girl!

jigyasa joshi: thank you for this video. it really helped.. love ur hairs tho

Brittany Varecha: I really like your bonnet idea. I am worried that my hair line will start to decline if my hair lacks oxygen similar to men balding due to wearing hats. Do you think your hair can breathe enough?

Amy Molina: Can somebody please respond to my question? okay so I usually put my hair in 4 buns before I go to sleep once a week. I usually put a cotton t-shirt over my head so that way it doesn't get frizzy. But I don't have a bonnet. what I do have is a shower cap. is it a good idea to use a shower cap as a bonnet?

Miz. Mcupcake: So I don’t know if this happened to other people but I tried to do the bun way and even before using my hair tie when I was just putting my hair on the top of my head I had just brushed it so it was nice and smooth and right when I did that it became frizzy and knotted

anu d: Can we use disposable caps over night for hair???

Alexis H: Where has this video been for all my life!! I've literally been searching for a video telling me how for at least 2 years!

Keith Beridon: You’re so adorable. I love your hair!

elblondie69 falconer: Your hair and you are stunning. Like supermodel stunning ❤

Luciana Fratean: Finally i found a video like this❣❣

KittyKat Gaming: Do you wear it like this when it's wet? If I use any of theses with my hair wet it still pulls out my curls, it's very frustrating!

Meissa 1103: Big kisses from France i love you so much don't change you're the best #teamcurlyhair➰

Niloo: Thanks for the tips!! I have a bonnet from Wal-Mart too but it gives me a headache :(

Starya: Do you cut the rubber band to open it? Because I dont find another option for these curls.

Joe Quirke: My hair way almost completely straight until about 3 months ago .Now it is a 3a curl .My mom won't let me buy the right products for my hair. Any tips?

Z Badival: you need to start doing makeup tutorials!! new subbie here

Breanne Page: Would you be able to share a link for this or a similar bonnet? The only ones I've found are too small for my hair and too tight. Thanks!

Starya: Thank you!! It was so much of a requirement.

HipHopQueenL: waited for such a video, thanksss

valepoli: Hey, so after u wake up, with like a bun or bonnet, do u brush ur hair? Cuz im the only one in my family who has curly hair and i have no idea how to tame them! If anyone has any tips please tell me❤️

RM: Scarfs and caps even with bobby pins never stay on my head over night :(

valepoli: Hey, so after u wake up, with like a bun or bonnet, do u brush ur hair? Cuz im the only one in my family who has curly hair and i have no idea how to tame them! If anyone has any tips please tell me❤️

Boba bubble tea: My waves are straightened the next morning and I don't even know why. Help? Will these tips help with this situation I got going on here?

Mariam Ben: Where do you get silk pillow cases from? x

stell: this is the first video i’ve found with a girl that has the same hair type as me

Dailynn Rogers: Hey, my mom has straight hair and my dad has kinky hair, so mine came out curly. My mom doesn’t understand curly and and won’t but me a head scarf or a silk bonnet, cause she thinks that I don’t need it. Is there any alternative or a way to convince her?

Lily K: thank you for rescuing my hair! hahaha

extinct_duck: Idk why but my curls always look flat with the bonet method. Is it because i dont use custards or gel?

Kimberly Dell: I have that same bonnet but the package made me think I was getting pink! I was so sad

Arie-Is-Bored: I found someone on YouTube with the same type of curls as me!

alanoud makki: But doestn putting hair up cause hair thinning? Please answer

kelvianna epperson: I have silk scarf that I use but I don't know all the fancy knots so I do just like you did

Nidawi Iro: How do you wash silk? I got a scarf without wash instructions and I don’t want to ruin it

misssam9323: those picture snaps with the bonet! hilarious lol

Mal: How do u remove the hair band after using it to make a messy bun..like..if i do that ..half of my hair gets out with the band

Erika yuleinny: 1st i hate sleeping with tight things on my head or anything that has to do with wrapping around any areas, and when i do wrap something on my hair or tie it up, my hair wakes up dry and too puffy

NKJ: Curly hair looks very sexy and beautiful if they are long up to waist. Metal combs are best for curly hair. Available at Amazon. Woman having long Curly hair always look hotter and sexier. But curly hair looks very bad if they are heat straightened and appears as Broom. After straightening they look morbid or some time artificial.

natalie carter: Does ur hair have to be dry for this to work of is it ok to have wet hair?

Elizabeth Talbot: You’re a lifesaver.

wendy ward: bitch you could make a paper bag look good!!! love it!!

ChibiDaisy: I had to use a tighter band for my curls cause my hair is very thin

RegularTime x: I wish I knew what I could do I have short chin length curly hair.

Shelley Ann: I have long thick curly hair so a lot of this doesn’t work for me

yousra riahi: My problem is mostly that I can keep them more than one day

crystal sparkle: That's a very good video ,but if you use the scarf so many times your hair will be dameged trust me i tried it and it turns out so bad , because your hair wont breath all night and that's a really bad habit , but any ways i love your videos you ahve such a cool hair love you❤
