Hey guys it's Lisette here, and this is going to be all about my winter haircare and how I just keep my hair, moisturized and healthy during the winter time. This video is actually brought to you by Carol's Daughter and I'm going to be using all products from their black vanilla collection, and I love it and I just wanted to show you guys how I've been using the products. So in the shower, I prepped my hair with the shampoo and conditioner, and I love it because the shampoo is sulfate free and lately I have just been into sulfate free shampoos and really trying to get my hair healthy. It'S a good idea to sometimes use a deep conditioner treatment, I'm using the hair smoothie - and this is just really going to replenish my hair because it was feeling a little bit dry since I colored it and I needed to give my hair some moisture. So, after about five minutes, I rinse out the deep conditioner and I just put my hair into an old t-shirt. So next I'm just using the four and one combing cream, and this is super creamy and it allows me to just detangle my hair really easily and I'm just using my Denman brush. But if you want your hair to be a little bit more moisturized - and you also want your hair to be easily tangled, then you can add a little bit of the leave-in conditioner. This is a spray and you just spray this all throughout your hair and you can comb it from the ends all the way up to the roots, so my curls are prepped and ready and moisturized. So now it's time for me to use my styling product, my styling product changes all the time. Sometimes I go for creams other times I go for gels. It really just depends on whatever mood I'm in and whatever hairstyle I'm trying to achieve. I'M also combing the product through with my brush just so I can help creat some pearls and clump them together, I'm taking my edge control. This is the edge control smoother and I'm applying this on just one side. I don't know I just like to smooth down that one side and I'm just smoothing it down just so. I can get a really sleek look and next it is time to diffuse when it's cold outside you do not need to have your hair, soaking wet and going outside in the cold, because I've done that before and it's not good, it's not good for you. So, let's just dry our hair. So this is what my curls look like, and you all know that I love to pin back one side of my hair, so I'm just taking some bobby pins and Kross pinning them to secure it. Something that I've actually been loving to do is to add the hair sheen on top of my hairstyle. So your hearing needs to be completely dry and you just apply this throughout your hair and you just sort of smooth it over, and it helps to just give you a little bit more moisture and it adds some shine. So this is the final look and I'm really excited with the way it turns out and my curls are actually super defined. lele: so both of my parents come from ethiopia, africa but i am born and raised in Germany. my sister and my friends which are also from ethiopia, all have REALLY nice looking curls just like you. Like they have defined curls which go straight down and if they want to straighten it, it is straight as hell. But with me, ugh, my curls are a disaster! My curls aren't defined in any way and when I wash my hair and leave it that way, my curls lay on my shoulder but after they dry they go up like i have an afro. But the curls still arent as small (i guess thats how you describe it?) as the real real afro hair. And if i want to straighten them they wont be like straight straight. You understand? And idk what to do about them. I always have to braid them or straighten them and put them in a bun but i never ever straightened them and went out. I Always put them in a ponytail or a bun because it wont work any other way. Everytime i watch curly haircare routines and the youtubers talk about how good the product is, i be like 'nice but it wont work with my hair because you ain't have the same hair as me'. I'm desperate :( In case you wondered, i'm 3C, i guess.
