Curly Hair Routine Using Dominican Products - Afrolove & Ritual Boé Cosmetics

Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel if you're new here, i'm jalisa, i feel like i haven't filmed in a while. I just got back from my Dominican Republic trip and it was so fun I had so so so much fun and I'm finally back and ready to get right into filming a lot of cool hair videos for you guys. So I told you guys in my last video that I was going to buy some curly hair products in the Dominican Republic made in the Dominican Republic to try out here in my channel. I actually got two curly hair products and I'm gon na show you guys today, which ones I got. I went to Alaska Dana today, I'm actually gon na curl. My hair actually didn't straighten my hair over there. It was way too humid way too hot, and I wanted to give my hair a break from the heat. So actually it said I'm gon na curl it again and I've really been into curling my hair, so the products that I got were very affordable. They were probably under five dollars each. So let's get right into the video and let's curl this hair, so I got two products for curly hair, so this first one is from afro love. So this is free from salt, pretty interesting, parabens, silicon and mineral oils. So this is kind of like a leave-in conditioner. This is what I'm gon na use as the first step, so I'm actually gon na take off my rain, because I don't know how some people can get their rings and jewelry what I just can't. I can't so what I'm gon na do. Is I'm gon na part, my hair into two sections, so I'm going to put some of this on my hair okay, so this smells so good. It'S just smells so good, and it feels so so so so soft already. So I'm just using that mainly on my ends, but I am putting it all over too. So I'm gon na do this section of hair. I'M gon na bring it down. So I'm just putting that all over. As you can see, it looks pretty nice okay, so I'm all done with this one. So far I really like it left my hair super soft and it smells really really good. So now we're gon na use this other brand. That is called pleadwell, f, Hair Care. So while I said that so Spanish lived while like a ritual, so this is for curly hair, so this is also a leave-in product. This is more like a gel, so this is called the curl sculptor, and this is also paraben salt and sulfate free, like that is amazing. This has a bunch of whipped oils. It has coconut quinoa, sunflower, Oregon olive avocado oil, all that stuff. So let's put this on the hair and this is to define the curls. So this was to kind of keep the curls very soft, very moisturized, and then this is gon na be to define the curls I'm going to use about that. Much right now and then I'll just add some more. If I have to this smells good, it doesn't really have that much of a scent, which is fine, because sometimes I hate it when my products smell way too much. I have this curly hair products that actually bought a long time ago, and I have been dying to try it out, but I try I try to use and I can't the smell is just way too strong like way too strong, and I don't even know how To describe it, does it even smell like a natural scent? It'S just like it's terrible, so I haven't been able to try that one out, because I just can't I can't deal with the smell. I just can't. I prefer just no scent or just a little bit of scent as compared to a very, very strong scent that is just gon na be annoying all day, and then you walk by people and it's gon na like slap in the face like no. I can't but this, but this smells good. It smells good and it smells very natural. I'M gon na use a little bit more and just gon na apply that everywhere. So now, I'm gon na use my Denman brush to help define my curls a little bit more. I'M actually gon na part my hair and get into two sections. I just feel like that helps so so so much to really get all the hair okay. So I take a section of hair. I brush the hair and twist the ends like this, and then I scrunch it. This is such a game-changer using an atonement brush to define the curl is like. I am so glad that I discovered this because it hasn't really changed my curls, so so so much so as you can see, the curls are looking a lot more defines and bouncy. So what I'm gon na do this section and I'm actually gon na, be right back and I'm gon na show you guys how my hair looks after using the Denman brush and I'm gon na diffuse, my hair too. So I'll show you guys how I do that. Okay, so far, my curls look very defined and my hair looks shiny and like healthy, like the curls look very healthy, like I can already tell when I'm gon na have a good curly hair. Today, and today is that day, I can already tell like I'm gon na diffuse, my hair, and you guys will see how bouncy and how shiny my curls are gon na look like so far. I see that looks pretty curly and it's wet. So if it's nice, when it's wet, it's gon na be nice when it's dry, but always remember that so and I'm gon na infuse my hair - and you guys already know - and this is the diffuser that I use - I love it - I will link it down below. So I'm going to fuse my hair and I'll be right back okay. So this is what my hair looks like I'm gon na try and maybe put my hair to one side, because I kind of don't know what to do with my part right now. This is a curly hair struggle, like you, don't know where to put your hair or like how to part it. Let me know in the comments down below if you're the same way, okay, guys so final thoughts. I did really like using these products now I will say I do feel like in some parts it looks a little bit frizzy. It could be because obviously, I'm like moving my hair around so so so much like trying to figure out where to put my hair. So, that's probably it I feel, like I have other curly hair products that I like a little bit more, that defined my curls even more, but I will say this is really really good and also for the price for you to get products that are a parabens Silicon free it's hard to find something that is affordable and that won't cost too much money if you're looking for some really affordable products that are silicone and paraben free. These are a great great great choice: oh yeah! These are great dominican products that I want to totally recommend and when I go back wan na buy some more, I want to try some other stuff that they have guys. That is it for today's video hope.
