Hi guys I'm rabbit, and I have received quite a lot of fantastic, constructive feedback from those of you who watched my previous video on tips for growing out your curly hair to be long and healthy. At the same time, although a lot of you really liked the information in that video, you asked that I make a very, very concise shortened version just so that I could really quickly breeze through some of my top 10 top 11 tips for you. So that is what I'm going to do for you today and we will go ahead and get started in three two and one don't brush your hair instead switch to using a wide tooth comb or your fingers, although this will vary from individual to individual, don't shampoo! Your hair, more than three times a week max when detangling your hair, instead of pulling on the actual knots themselves, do your best to try separating the strands of hair so that you are pulling each individual strands out of the tangle as opposed to ripping at multiple Strands of hair, when you are just messing with the little ball itself, if you'd like to see how I actually detangle my hair, you can look at my hair care, routine, tutorial video and I will provide all the links to anything I referenced in the description box Below, while on the topic of detangling, it's usually best to detangle, with your hairs, wet or damp with conditioner on it, keeping your hair really well. Moisturized is a huge part of it being healthy and being able to grow long. So try your best to use shampoos or conditioners that are moisturizing. If you don't already make sure you include leave-in conditioners as a part of your haircare routine, you can do this either by purchasing leave-in conditioners as individual products, or you can use your regular conditioner as a leave-in by just leaving some in your hair or diluting it. And spraying it on your hair, try to include some sort of holding product in your hair care routine as well, and this can be either a gel or a moose or a pomade, some sort of hair cream, whatever actually will work better for your hair. Texture is more important than just trying to find any holding product, but in general having some that holds the girls together and helps define them will keep your hair from frizzing, which, in turn will keep it from tangling. This is something that I think a lot of people often overlook when giving advice or looking for advice, but when it comes to taking care of your hair and growing it out to be long and healthy, it really starts from within so make sure you're taking care Of your whole body, by getting enough sleep, eating a healthy, nutritious diet, getting plenty of exercise etc, because your healthy hair is gon na start from your roots and within so just be mindful of that, avoid using heat, styling tools as much as possible, and this includes Blow-Drying, not just hair straightening or hair curling with a curling rod, and the reason for this is because the more you're going to be exposing your hair to heat the more damage it's going to accrue over time. So I'm not telling you that you can absolutely not use any type of heat styling tool, but I think it's best to limit it to maybe once or twice a week, try to avoid dyeing your hair or using any other kinds of chemicals on it as much As possible, if you absolutely want to have highlights or to change the color of your hair, my really really strong recommendation would be for you to go. Seek a professional, because I cannot tell you how many of my friends have completely fried and screwed up their hair by trying to dye themselves so go have a professional, do it if you must have it done? Lastly, and I know this is one that a lot of people try to debate, but it really is what it is cut off. Your split ends now how frequently your ends will actually split or how bad the splits will be. It'S going to depend on your hair and how healthy it is. So for me I don't actually have to trim my hair more than maybe twice a year, but in general you're gon na want to make sure that you're doing this. Because if you don't cut off your split ends, the hitter is going to have the opportunity to just split further and further and further up the shaft, which is gon na damage, the hair and further and further up shaft, so you're better off just cutting your losses. No pun intended and getting rid of those bad ends so that your hair will look beautiful because remember the key to having beautiful hair is really for it to be healthy. So, if you're holding on to all of these little dead ends your hair, just not going to look very good, even if it's really long, so I think that's a really really important one and no matter what anyone tells you. You cannot repair your split ends. You might be able to find a product to help seal them together, but it's only going to be temporary so for long-term, healthy hair cut off your split ends, all right guys, that's it for me. Hopefully I didn't forget anything, but if I did I'm sure you have no problems with asking me by leaving a comment down below, so thank you so much for watching. I hope you guys are all doing great I'll talk to you later. Bye,

interplanetrabbit: Hi, Lashana! <3 I cannot thank you enough for this encouraging comment. I really appreciate receiving feedback from people (whether positive or negative), but there's just something about receiving kind comments that makes my heart so happy. :) I wish more people knew how to word their criticisms more politely; it'd make things so much easier for me. :p But, I guess we can't control what other people say or do, so I have to just try to love them where they're at and meet them halfway. :) xxx

TheArimonaFam: Oh, rabbit! You're just smiling and as gracious as always. it really blows me and my husband away how lovely and kind you are, especially when it seems like people on here are so rude and immature 24/7. I personally appreciate you taking the time to remake this video. I value your advice and am always excited to see something in my news feed from you. thank you for always letting your faith and bright spirit shine through people's negativity. You give so much more to people than you get back.

interplanetrabbit: Hehe, I'm 4'10"! :D Nice to meet another fellow short person. ;) Honestly, my hair's always been long, even when I was straightening it daily and damaging it. D: If you'd like more detail on the general time frame for my hair growth when I decided to go natural, you can check out my natural hair journey video. :) It'd all be way too long to type out here. :-* xx

Kay Stary: Great tips! I'm guilty of coloring my hair at home. I learned the hard way. My hair became really dry so no more diy hair color, lol.

interplanetrabbit: Moisture is definitely a critical factor in having healthy hair! :) And, your hair sounds super dreamy! I've always thought red-tinted curls were a lovely sight to behold. <3 xx

Stephanie Celis: I can't wait to have my hair this lenght! Your hair is really beautiful! <3

BkahG92: Yes! haha. Feeling dryyyy every time I find split ends I cut them off. Thanks for the advice Rabbit <3 :) You're beautiful

interplanetrabbit: I'm so glad to hear this. ^_^ Thank you for your feedback! <3 I'll try to do things like this more often. :) xx

interplanetrabbit: Yay, I'm glad this video was helpful! ^__^ Also, thank you for the suggestion! I think that'd be a great topic for a future video. <3 Thank you for the feedback!! xx

interplanetrabbit: I'm glad! ^___^ It always makes me happy to help anyone I can! <3 Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment. :D xx

Jamie world: GREAT video, thanks so much for the tips!!! You have such amazing thick hair and curls, i LOVE it and its growing sooooo long, BEAUTIFUL, keep up the great work!!!

interplanetrabbit: Thank you so much for your encouragement and feedback! ^____^ Your comment made my day! <3 xx

interplanetrabbit: Hi! :D I honestly have never used a molding creme or palm aid, so unfortunately that's not an area where I am capable of recommending a good product to you. :( Have you ever tried gel, instead? Or did that not give you the results you sought? xx

interplanetrabbit: My curls are predominantly 3b, but I have some pieces that are 3a and 3c as well. :) xx

BkahG92: Hello Rabbit! Thank you for the wonderful tips!! :) My ends are kinda dry -.- I'm not sure if I should cut them or just put coconut oil on it

interplanetrabbit: Thank you so much! And that makes me very happy to hear that it helped you. <3 xx

Lashana Flood: You are so accommodating!!!! I said it before and am saying it again, you have the best personality and attitude, ever. You really know how to handle those negative commenters. Your niceness is the key!!!! Love it. Take care!

interplanetrabbit: It's not redundant at all! ^__^ I do use shampoo with sulfates, but I only shampoo 2 times a week (roughly every 3-4 days). Thanks for asking! <3 xx

interplanetrabbit: Wonderful! :D I'm very glad to hear this. <3 xx

ashley anderson: i just found your channel and i adore your videos and your hair! thanks for your tips

Arielle J.: Very informative!:)

interplanetrabbit: Awww, thanks, Mrs. Arimona! ^_^ You are honestly way too kind and give me far too much credit. XD I definitely do not mind remaking certain videos, especially if it makes them more user friendly. People can be dicks sometimes, but I figure that everyone has a bad day from time to time, right? :) Ultimately, I don't define myself or my self-worth by other people's opinions of me (especially anonymous trolls), so I'm okay with criticism! :D Thanks for your kindness, and God Bless! <3 xx

nac8p: thanks so much this was really helpful!

interplanetrabbit: Don't you just hate it when your ends get kind of frazzled? :< Are they actually split yet, or just feeling dry? You may not have to cut them off quite yet. ^__^ I'd try using oil (either coconut, jojoba, olive, etc.) and give them a lot of TLC. Hopefully you won't need to chop off too much. <3 xx

interplanetrabbit: Yay! ^__^ Thanks for watching! xx

Amanda McDonald: Thank you so much !! So beautiful

interplanetrabbit: Thank you so much! ^__^ xx

interplanetrabbit: Thank you so much!!! <3

Bria Jones: Ughhhhhhhhhh >.< You're hair is soo beautiful! Such a curly hair inspiration! I hope my hair will be long like yours when its curly we have a similar hair texture . (:

interplanetrabbit: It's past my butt. I'll probably do a "length-check" video sometime this month, because I get quite a few folks who ask. :D xx

interplanetrabbit: Haha, I'm not sure why, but your comment made me literally laugh out loud. XD It seems that coloring one's hair is so tempting from what my friends tell me. I've never had my hair dyed, but I guess it's expensive to have it done professionally. :(

interplanetrabbit: Thank you, love! :-*

interplanetrabbit: Aww, thank you so much! And you absolutely can! <3 xx

interplanetrabbit: Haha, that is so neat! <3 I'm not sure if my family meant for the nickname to stick, but it kind of did. :p And now 'Rabbit' also! Sometimes I forget what my real name is. ;) I also love cats. It's a hard choice, but I might like them slightly more than bunnies--but not by much! xx

CurlyCeeCee: wonderful tips! thanks

Imani Wig: You should make a hairstyle video of what you like or recommend for a busy life...ect and your video was helpful! :)

Lashana Flood: I understand! That's just a part of your beautiful makeup! I am much the same! And you are so very welcome, thank you too!

interplanetrabbit: Thank you so much! <3 xx

interplanetrabbit: Aw, thank you, my dear! ^____^ xx

interplanetrabbit: No, ma'am! ^_^ It's a nickname! My family calls me Bunny, and my friends just sort of took that and started calling me Rabbit. :p I answer to both, so you can pick whatever you like more. :D xx
