Thank you all so much for watching!! Love you deep

Hi guys, my name is natasha and welcome to my channel. Today'S video is going to be all about the most important part of a good curly, hair, routine and really the first piece of advice that i give to anybody who asked me how to get healthy, curly hair, and that is deep conditioning. So today i have 10 different deep conditioners that i have tried and experimented with and used over the years, and i kind of wanted to just go over some pros and cons. Some different benefits of each of them and kind of show how each of them are different, because you know some have more benefits than others, and it's really important that you find a good, deep conditioner to incorporate into your wash day routine. Okay. So, let's get right into it. The first one is my absolute favorite mask and if you follow me, you can probably guess what i'm about to say, because i've mentioned this mask like eight different times, but it is the shea moisture jamaican black, castor oil, strengthen and restore treatment mask. It has shea butter, peppermint, apple, cider, vinegar and it's sulfate free and color safe. I love a lot of products from shea moisture, especially because i feel, like the whole brand, is kind of safe in a way like no sulfates parabens, no mineral oils, animal testing. None of that yucky stuff, but this one is very, very thick and i have such dry hair, so i have to use really thick hair masks. I also personally love products that have jamaican black, castor oil in them, because my hair just responds really well to it. Since it's such a thick oil, but it's like moisturizing, it promotes hair growth and it helps with split ends. So once i started using this and really focusing it on my ends, i started to see less breakage and it's just a really deep, moisturizing conditioner. This mask is very thick, so if you have finer, hair or hair that tends to get way down easily, this might be a little bit too thick for you, but this is a great, deep conditioner i like to leave it on my hair, sometimes for like hours, But i also love to use it with rice water because it helps my hair from getting too much protein in it, since it's so moisturizing. Another amazing mask is the algae, renew deep conditioning mask by camille rose. It has cocoa and mango butter in it which are very thick, and so it sort of has a similar consistency to the jamaican black castor oil mask by shea moisture. But i would say this one is a little bit of a higher quality. It is a little bit more expensive, but i think that my hair afterwards has just a little less frizz in it. When i compare the results from this one and the shea moisture mask so, if you are like looking for a higher quality still super thick mask, i would go with the camille rose. One um. I really like this and my hair seems to respond to it very well, and they have about the exact same consistency too. One con about this product would probably be the smell it doesn't have. This is probably the worst smell. It'S my favorite deep conditioner, but it's like the worst smell of all of these. It doesn't smell bad, but it's not like a very sweet or relaxing scent. It'S not loud either it just just kind of smells like play-doh like not good, not bad but, like you just wouldn't expect a hair product to smell like it. So that's how i'd explain it, and then this one, i would say, would probably be like the closest related to the shea moisture. It'S just a little bit of a higher quality, and this one its biggest pro, is the smell it smells. It literally smells like vanilla cake like it has like a dessert, very sweet, but but kind of faint like not too loud smell, so i think that's probably the biggest pro is the quality and the smell. So this one's great. So next up, i have another really popular hair mask by shea moisture and it's the manuka honey intensive, hydration hair mask this. One is definitely another one of my favorites. I'Ve been using it for a really long time and it's really popular in the curly hair community. It has a very relaxing scent, it's not very loud, and i really like the consistency, because, even though it's thick, it still has like a bit of a creamy texture to it. So to compare the two shea moisture masks that i have today the biggest difference. I would say is in the directions the castor oil mask says to leave in for 10 to 15 minutes, whereas the manuka honey mask says to leave in for five minutes. Also, the castor oil mask says to focus it on the ends, whereas this mask says you can distribute it from root to end. So i think that kind of gets at the point that this is more of like a daily hydration, not too thick, not too weighed down conditioner, and then this one is more of like a repairing treatment that you want to use every couple of weeks. But this one, i think, is like safe and even lightweight enough, where you can use it every wash day. So the next mask that i love is this one by carol's daughter it is the cocoa cream, curl quenching, deep moisture mask it's an instant, intense moisture system for very dry curly to coily hair. Whenever i use this mask, my hair is much softer and i think i noticed that it adds a lot of shine to it. It'S not too expensive and one thing i've noticed about really all of carol's daughter's line. Is they really make my hair shiny? So after i use this, my hair kind of has a little bit of extra shine to it. I also love that it has a very gentle scent again. It kind of smells like body lotion, but like not too loud, and it has a nice consistency too. It'S more creamier than some of the thicker masks from before, and i like it mostly because i've noticed that my hair has some curl pattern whenever i put this in so if i just use this rinse it out and then get out of the shower, my hair Already has a little bit of curl in it and i think that's because it's for very dry curly to coily hair, so i don't have to use as many styling products after i use this mask. So that's probably my favorite thing about it. So next up is a more affordable option, which is this cantu grapeseed strengthening treatment mask when i first saw this i like kind of second-guessed it, because i don't really like cantu, i just whenever i use their stuff like my hair, feels dry after and i think They just don't have the best ingredients, but this one i was actually really happy to see that it has no sulfates, no parabens, no silicones. I like products that help my hair get healthier in the long run, not just the short run. So this one, though i would say, is like top three best scents of all of them here, so i love the way it smells. It smells like grape juice, and i i love it. Also. I'Ve noticed when i use it. It kind of has this like bubbly consistency in my hair. It'S a very unique feeling mask and it's not too expensive, and it has great ingredients and the smell is great. So i kind of use this as just like a couple of the others like a daily conditioner, not like a deep treatment mask, and i think that's because it has lightweight oils in it like almond, oil and jojoba, and so those whenever i use them. My hair doesn't react super crazy to that in comparison to like cocoa butter, shea butter or jamaican black castor oil. So this is a good light weight mask and i think it would be good for people with like finer, hair or people who want to use a hair mask, but don't want their hair to be weighed down after so don't sleep on cantu this one. I love this product by them. Next up is a huge favorite in the curly hair community, and that is the matcha green tea and wild apple blossom. Nutrient rich butter mask this. One is great: it's lightweight. It'S 98 naturally derived ingredients, which is great for those who you know they're, trying to stay away from chemicals. The unique thing about this mask in comparison to some of the other ones i've covered is the directions say to leave on here for two to five minutes and then rinse thoroughly. So this is more of like an in shower mask, whereas some of the thicker ones you can like do before the shower and leave in for like up to an hour or all day, if you want to, whereas this one. I think this one is more of. Like again, just like the cantu, it's more of like a daily conditioner type, this one i would describe as smelling like a conditioner, so it doesn't smell like lotion. It doesn't smell like candy. It smells like a hair product in a good way and i, like the consistency, it's not too thick, it's not too way down, and i think it's pretty easy to run through my hair, so it kind of helps with detangling. But i do like this one. I see i see the hype with this one i like it, i think, because it detoxes and it's good for your hair and scalp and those antioxidants, i think, really make a difference, especially the longer you use it, but really the whole green tea line from not Your mother's is great, it's all natural, they all have an amazing scent and the antioxidants really help with your scalp and your hair growth. So this is a great one and of course no sulfates silicons or parabens. So that's what we like to see next up is my favorite smelling mask of all of them and that is blueberry. Bliss curls reparative hair mask this one's free of sulfate, silicone parabens, and it says it is an intensive reparative, deep conditioning mask guaranteed to repair damage and enhance growth. So a unique thing about this product is, it says, on the front of the label that it's for hair growth, it smells like candy, it smells like blueberry lemonade or like a popsicle. This one in comparison to the camille rose, like i would say, the camel rose. Smells like cake and this one smells like candy. I don't know it just like makes me feel like a kid when i smell it, so i love this one but yeah. This is a great one. It'S also a great detangler, the most unique thing about this, one, that it enhances, hair growth and then two the smell is just like out of this world. The smell is so good, sometimes when i'm in a bad mood, i'll just come and smell, my blueberry hair mask, and i just like snap right out of it. So the next two masks that i have are kind of unique from the other ones, in the sense that they are both a moisturizing and a protein treatment, and that is this one by shea moisture and miele to start off with the shea moisture one. This one is the manuka, honey and yogurt hydrate and repair protein power treatment, and when i use this, it feels a lot like rice, water, it's very thick. It has the thickest consistency of all of the masks here. So the unique thing about this mask is that it has yogurt in it, and yogurt is a really popular ingredient for like do-it-yourself masks when you go in the kitchen and mix up a whole bunch of ingredients like yogurt honey things like that. So this one says that it helps strengthen by reducing breakage up to 76 percent and it has protein oils, shea butter, manuka, honey and yogurt, and all of those are more so repairing ingredients rather than moisturizing ingredients. So this is a good protein treatment to use when you feel like your hair is weighed down or just has a lot of moisture in it and you want to add some springs in it. I actually just used this mask last wash day for these results. So if you want to add bounce to your curls or just make them kind of spring up a little more, i would definitely use that mask. The only thing is sometimes when my hair springs up like this, it doesn't have as much length retention what i do. Love about it, though, is, if you follow me, you know i'm a huge fan of rice water. I use it like every other wash day and i feel like this is the closest store-bought version of what a rice water protein treatment would do to your hair. So if you, you know, don't have as much time to make an all natural protein treatment and it lasts a long time and a little goes a long way. The next protein based mask is this miele baba and mint deep conditioner. This is a protein and moisture replenisher for dry damaged hair, so this one is a little bit different from the shea moisture yogurt mask, because it's also a moisturizer. I would say the most unique thing about this: one is the mint as soon as you put it on your scalp, you feel like a tinkling sensation and it's very stimulating which helps promote blood flow to the scalp which helps with hair growth. So this is great for, if you're looking for hair growth and if you like that tingling sensation when you're in the shower, this is my roommate's favorite mask and she has 4c hair. So if you have 4c hair really the whole line is great for that texture. But this mask in specific is really good for dry kinky textures, like 4c hair. This mask is also more unique from the others in its smell. It has the loudest smell like this. Is that loud pack it just as soon as you smell it. It just shoots up your sinus, but some people like it, i'm not the biggest fan of this mask just because the smell is a little too overpowering. For me to me, it smells like trident mint gum, and it's just too much for me. Not even it smells like vapor rub like it smells like you're trying to clear up a cold, which is a little too much for me, but again the benefits of that is you get a really stimulating sensation on your scalp when you use it, so i don't Know i'm kind of back and forth on this one, but i do know it's great for type 4 hair, it's great for dry hair and it's really good for cleansing and exfoliating and stimulating your scalp, which is very, very, very close linked to hair growth. The last mask that i'm going over today, i am not the biggest fan of, but it is pretty popular and it is the macadamia natural oil, deep repair mask. It says it hydrates nourishes and repairs and it's color same for all hair types questionable, but it's 100 vegan and these directions say to leave on for five to ten minutes and that you can use one to two times a week. So that already kind of tells me it might not be for curly hair. When i use this, i kind of got the vibe that it was for straight hair just because it didn't really deep condition. My hair to me it was honestly more like a thick conditioner. Instead of a deep conditioner or a hair mask so it didn't add a lot of moisture didn't add a lot of protein to my hair, so i didn't really see a huge difference from it. But the good side of that is that's better for very fine hair or straighter textures, like type 1 or type 2. Curls keep in mind that it does have dimethicone in it, which is a silicone and that's not the best for curly hair, and i try to make sure that my masks, you know, are helping my hair get healthier in the long run, not just the short run. So this isn't my favorite one, because it was a little too pricey to have a silicone in it. Two because i didn't really see a big difference and three, because i really just don't think it's for curly hair. I didn't even get it in the curly hair. Multicultural section, so i got it like next to garnier. You know what i mean so that kind of like tells me something not my favorite, but if you do have fine hair, you might want to give it a try. Just keep in mind. It has the silicone in it, so just to wrap up these three masks, i would say smell the best. The cantu grapeseed strengthening mask the blueberry bliss reparative mask. Probably my favorite smelling one and the camille rose. Algae. Renew deep conditioning mask these ones in comparison. Have a much more relaxing scent, this one helps with putting curl definition in my hair. This one is a deep conditioner and then this one is more of like a daily gentler hair mask these two are the most moisturizing. This one smells a lot better, but this one i probably use most often just because my hair responds really well to castor oil. It just helps my hair grow out, helps it get shiny and i see a lot of great moisture. These two are protein and moisturizing masks. This one gives a little bit more moisture. This one has the loudest smell out of all the masks i mentioned today, and it just smells like mint, and then this one is the thickest out of all of the masks because of that yogurt. And then this one is the most lightweight because it says you can use it up to two times a week and you only have to leave it in your hair for like five minutes. So this one is good if you have very fine hair but again just keep in mind that this one does have a silicone in it. So i tried to go over and share some pros and cons of all of my favorite hair masks, including some really popular ones, that i see a lot of other people with curly hair. Using the most important thing, though, is to make sure you use a hair mask, find a deep conditioner that works for you, whether you like a good smell, whether you like a lot of moisture or if you want a protein treatment, just make sure that you incorporate Masks into your hair routine, try and do it once a week, because once i started really sticking a hair mask, i saw a huge difference in my hair and i love deep conditioning so much that i don't even use regular conditioners anymore. Let me know if you try any of these suggestions or if you have any that you want to see me try or that you think i would like definitely leave those in the comments. Thank you.
