Sister, i've had that song stuck in my head literally this entire day cannot get it out just had to get it out so that it would all right. Let'S do the hair girl today's the day. Today'S the day, i'm going to be walking you through my unsponsored, updated hair care routine and showing you how to go from this to this. If you are excited about this video, please be sure to give it a big thumbs up smash that, like button go ahead, do it right now it's free everyone's doing it! Cool kids are doing it these days, uh. It really will help me out so much and i'll really appreciate it and if you ever want to see my face again be sure to subscribe and, of course, check out my instagram for lots of fun little tips and tricks jumping right on in. I will be walking you through my holiest of holy grail products, so i did just get my hair freshly cut and highlighted yesterday, but honey that bleach dries the heebly beebly out of my hair. So whenever i want to start fresh after chemical damage or maybe one week, my hair just isn't cooperating, i know that we've all experienced that i use these bad boys and honey. They are bad to the bone in a good way. The very first product i like to use is shea moisture's, manuka, honey and yogurt hydrate and repair protein power treatment. That'S a mouthful! I have repurchased this product with my own money, probably six or seven times at this point. I absolutely swear by it. I wish they made it in a bigger jar. It brings the bounce and the curl back into my waves after chemically processing my hair. This is a protein power treatment as the name states, so this is going to be similar to products like olaplex number. Three except this is far far cheaper and i prefer it. This is also going to be incredibly similar to curl smith's new like bond boosting products. That'S a little bit more protein dense than this is going to be, but this is also half the price tag. I honestly just can't recommend this enough, i'm obsessed with it. She is thick and she is not here to play games and once i'm done with that, i will jump in with another shea moisture product. I just i really love this brand and i feel like this brand, really isn't targeted towards me or my hair type, but yet their products still work so well for my hair - and i just i love it - this is my favorite hair mask right now it is So, rich and lovely we have the jamaican black, castor oil, strengthen and restore treatment mask with shea butter, peppermint and apple cider, vinegar, it's just my favorite. It nourishes it's thick, but not too thick. The peppermint oil is really nice when it gets on the scalp. It definitely creates a slight tingly like invigorating sensation on the scalp, but it's not strong or overpowering at all. If you are sensitive to peppermint oil, it's just good believe it or not. It is the next day uh. Your girl forgot to turn her microphone on when she was recording this section, so i'm starting over, but it's fine, fine, i'm fine, we're choosing joy. Today we are choosing joy, okay, so after our masks, we're jumping in with the not your mother's curl talk line shampoo. This is my holy grail shampoo. When it comes to volume, which is most days sometimes, i will use an incredibly moisturizing shampoo, just because i want to give my scalp a break and like hydrate it in case. Maybe i'm experiencing. You know some flakes from the cold temperatures etc, but, most days, if i want my hair to look good, i will use the curl talk shampoo for those of you like me, the bigger the hair, the closer to god. This shampoo is going to rock your world. If you do not like volume, if you want something super super super moisturizing for your scalp, this isn't going to be the shampoo for you now i don't want to be misleading and make the shampoo sound like it's going to dry the heck out of your scalp And it's not moisturizing at all. That is certainly not the case. It is still sulfate free, silicone, free paraben, free curly girl method approved all that jazz. It is more on the cleansing side, so it is definitely going to leave you with more volume than you're used to a typical sulfate free, shampoo, that's more so hydrating. I hope that makes sense moving into our conditioners. As i said, these are my holy holy holy grail, so that doesn't mean that other conditioners i've mentioned in the past. I don't like - or i wouldn't use for, like if i'm going for a different effect. But if we're talking like my to hair, i like a heavier conditioner. This is from shea moisture it's the 100 virgin coconut oil daily hydration conditioner. I don't know why their names are so long um. This conditioner, i have bought so many times. I worked with shea moisture on promoting this product, i believe on instagram and youtube like a couple years ago. I it's just been in my rotation for a long time. I always go back to it. It'S just a great conditioner, it's very hydrating, but without weighing my hair down, so that i can achieve the volume that i like. While it still looks, moisturized and hydrated and not dry, if you're looking for a lighter weight, conditioner and really struggle with your hair. Getting weighed down by conditioner or maybe getting too soft from conditioner and then like your hair, doesn't hold its curl. I think that the not your mother's curl, tackling conditioner would be a great option for you or maui. Moisture has a really nice line. It'S in a pink bottle, it's the hibiscus line, um and it's very, very lightweight, still hydrating, but lightweight, which i really like sista sista. I'Ve had that song stuck in my head literally this entire day cannot get it out just had to get it out so that it would all right. Let'S do the hair tie and tamara mallory. I know you're not watching this, but if you magically are, please make a reboot, i need it in my life, okay. So when i get out of the shower, i automatically put my hair up in a turban, and i leave my hair in the turbine for about 10 to 15 minutes. And that's because it's going to give me more like a beachy effortless effect that i personally like on my hair. But if you're looking for more definition more perfection, then i would apply your product straight to your wet hair. Soaking wet. I like to personally apply it to damp hair. That'S just me, you do you boo, okay, so we're gon na go ahead and take this out. I feel like a little seven-year-old boy like in his jammies heading down christmas morning, anywho it's the maui, moisture, combing cream. It is the coconut milk combing cream. I love this stuff, it's so stinking good, and this is about how much i'm going to start with. So what i'm going to do, and by the way of course, all of these products are going to be linked in the description box down below all the tools, everything is going to be linked down below um, for you for ease of shopping. So what i'm going to do is begin by parting, my hair, how i like it, which is about like that and i'm already seeing like little pieces there, we go. Okay. If your hair starts off with frizz wet rest assured, it will end with frizz dry. So you really want to get rid of any and all frizz before you get into the drying process. I'M going to section my hair in half and we're going to start by applying our product to this bottom half section and i'm just like raking the product through the hair like barely and then scrunching it up into the hair. I'M sure most of you were expecting for my holy grail styler to be the natural mother's curl, chalk line cream, and you guys know how much i love that product i mean. I talk about it like too much, i'm obsessed with it, but during these winter months, right now, um we are was today like the first day of march wow um, my hair has just been needing more moisture, and so this product is just a little bit more Hydrating and i love the shine that it gives my hair, but i do think i prefer the curl top cream in like spring and summer, so so they're all great products um, but i did want to show you guys this product here today now i will say That, if you want like perfect hair results, uh, i would do more sections in your hair than i'm doing, i'm just being lazy, because that's just how i roll - and i also don't really love for my hair - to look perfect personally but yeah. If you want perfection in your hair results, it takes time simply um and if you don't mind it being a little messier, then they can be quick and you can run out the door and let me know if you want me to film my hair next time. I get a haircut. I thought that that might be a nice way to show you guys, my haircut, because i get a lot of questions about it, so give this video a thumbs up. If that's something you're interested in, if not that's totally fine, i don't know if that would be boring, but okay and just scrunch until your heart's content. Now that we've got all of our cream styler all throughout my hair and as you can see you guys, i really don't have like gallons of hair okay. This is all my hair to the side. It'S not that much hair like it's really not it's all an illusion. Okay, next we're moving in with the natural markers curl talk gel, you guys know already. This is the only gel i use period um. I will say that resource curls and maui moisture have new gels that i have been testing out and i have been liking. The resource curls one is a light, hold gel, um and then the maui moisture is, it says it's ultra hold, but it does not leave a hard crunch or anything. I'Ve been really liking them, but i haven't tested them long enough at all to even pretend to include them in a holy grails, video. Okay. So you guys already know this is my tested baby for flake free protection throughout the day. So i'm going to use about that much for pretty much my entire head of hair um. You don't need to use too much, but you also don't want to use too little like you know, really get it in there and i like to use the old good old praying hands method, but i don't like to like pull because i have waves. You know so i can't be like pulling out the texture that i have in my hair, but just like a light little cast over it. Okay, we are praying for a good hair day. Lord, let today be a good hair day once that is done, i'm flipping all of my hair to the side, and i am doing our final hoo-rah scrunch and i apologize if this video is really long. I just want wanted to be as detailed as humanly possible. Just for you so that everything was clear, um, so yeah scrunch her in baby get out that excess water it'll also help for your hair to dry significantly faster, and now we wait today, i'm going to be air drying. I do use a diffuser, my personal favorite diffuser. I will link the two of them down below. There is an expensive option from dyson, which is amazing, uh and a more affordable option from con air. I will link both of those down below. They are my two favorites, but i do still prefer my hair results when i air dry. So that's what we're gon na do here today and i've discussed this so many times on my channel and you guys, like it's changed your life. So if you haven't heard this tip or trick before so while your hair is drying, while you're checking your emails doing whatever you got to do, i flip my hair back and forth. I don't touch it. Let me back up: do not touch your hair until it's dry um, so you just want to like once again not touching just flip your hair from side to side about every 20 minutes, or so i would flip it from side to side. Okay. Another 20 minutes has passed whoop and it's just gon na allow number one for your hair dryer a little bit faster, because you know each side is gon na, be getting some wind in it. Getting some motion and it's gon na, let it's going to give you volume, i don't know how it does it. I really don't know it's just a it's just it's just a beautiful thing and it works. So so i'll see you guys soon and then we will fluff it out and be done all right, babes. My hair is now about ninety percent dry. If you can wait till it's 100 dry, please do that, but sometimes it just takes so long and like i got things to do so all right. This is what we are working with. Now that i have scrunched off the crunch, i literally just boom boom boom boom boom and kind of like shake at the roots to get a little bit of the gel out of there, and this is what we get now for me personally, my hair gets more Voluminous as the days go on, so i like to jump in with a dry shampoo to add some volume into my roots, especially on first day hair. Today, i'm going to be using the playa pure dry shampoo. I really really like this one. I'M almost done, and i don't want it to be over because it really is good, so i kind of like to just simply section the hair in layers. So, oh, is she like out? Oh no she's, almost out all right, get it in there flip to our next section, dang it i'm going to jump in with the igk direct flight multitasking dry shampoo. This is the medium cleanse and texture level. Okay, buy them, that's the volume we needed and then shake it out. This is what we're working with right now and last but not least, my favorite step that kind of ties it all together and makes the hair look really hydrated and jokesy is like an oil or a leave-in conditioner. This is from igk. I really like this one. It does have silicone, so if you are 100 curly girl method approved, this would not be for you, but this is the anti-frizz leave-in conditioner and it creates shine like nobody's business. But if you are looking for a silicone free option, this one from riojio, it's the risarco oil from the risarco line, and it's really really nice. It'S pricey, though, for this little bottle, but it does last a long time. So these are my finished results. It is actually a couple of hours later because my hair was not completely dry in any way, shape or form, and then i took the dog for a walk and then i refreshed my makeup because i'm going to dinner with my baby, so it's been a minute. I'M very happy with my first day of results, as the days goes on, my hair gets more and more voluminous um, so tomorrow it'll be a little more voluminous and the next day and the next day you get the gist. I will say, though, please actually wait until your hair is 100 dry before touching it. Unlike me, um it can lead to some fly aways and frizzes, and that's okay. So just imagine my hair, like ten percent better, you know just imagine i like a little more perfect. You can you're seeing it wow, it's good huh. It'S really good. This is how my hair looks from the side and then i will show you the back view. As well, that is a wrap on my updated hair, routine, be sure to check out the links in the description box below. If you want to check out any of these products. I recommended to you here today and i would love nothing more than for you guys to leave a comment down below letting me know your holy grail, wavy product, curly product super curly product. Let me know that one hair product - you can't live without alright until next time i'll see you soon bye, y'all

IndiaBatson: Hi everyone !! ❤️ thank you for watching !! I wanted to explain something I explained horribly in this video and a lot of you are asking questions about. when I was explaining the Shea moisture protein power treatment I made it appear to be a dupe for a cheap bond builder. That’s not what I was trying to insinuate. My apologies ! I was simply trying to explain I get the same results of bringing spring back into my hair with the protein power treatment as well as the olaplex bond building treatment. I get the same results from both. So while I get the same results, they are not similar ingredient wise. While they both have protein, the olaplex product is an actual bond builder. my apologies for the confusion love you , thank you for watching XOXO

Cayah Miller: Girl shea moisture is for everyone who needs it. Don’t let the curly hair gatekeepers tell you otherwise!

Gena Marie: Definitely trying that Maui combing cream next! Looks so good!

lizzyrae19: I'm 70 years old. I have always had a full head of wavy curls so my struggle has been for many, many years to combat the "frizz", and I live in Florida, can anyone say humidity! I stumbled across your videos and I am soooo happy because India you have given me many new ides. Thank you so much...my hair actually is starting to look as good and as thick as it did 30 years ago. You are such a doll, so pretty along with a great personality. I shall keep watching you so keep telling it like it is....(<:

TheDsFinest: Love the video! I’ve got 2b/2c hair and have decided to try going curly again. Your info has been super helpful!! And I am all for a Sister Sister reboot!! I’ve been making my husband watch the series with me!

Michelle Harmon: Thanks for the tips for wavy hair! I am a mix between 2A and 2B. I've been trying out the CGM for 6 months now and getting a little discouraged. My middle layers have taken to the process very well but my top/crown layers and around the nape of my neck want to flatten and straighten out. I'll try switching up my products but any other advice you can throw my way I'd very much appreciate it!

Leah At Home: Great video! Been using the “flip-during drying” tip since I first learned it from you with great results so thank you! I’d love to see a video of your next haircut/shaping so I can show my sister/stylist how I’m heading once it gets a bit longer. Thanks so much India!

Shapeless Journeys: 13:01 gosh, LOVE that one curl on your forehead. Thanks for the update! Your hair looks soo healthy, especially after bleaching every (couple of) months! Def will use all the tips because I started bleached several months ago.

Pamela Hasse: Knocking at the door of my 6th decade and just discovered that I have had curly hair all along! I've been binge watching your videos to try and catch up. The holy grail list is going to save me boatloads of trial and error money!

Julia.MD2B: In terms of protein treatments, the Shea moisture one is what I always have in the shower. I use a little bit like once a week with my normal conditioner. The curlsmith one is like your once a month protein kick or when you notice your hair is over moisturized. OLAPLEX is the saving grace for actually rebuilding bonds, need a haircut or noticing more split ends. I have all three but they have different uses for me.

Terry: This may be my absolute favorite video you've ever done. Why? Because it was SUPER easy and realistic (meaning not crazy time-consuming!) Saving this one for sure. Thank you so much and big hug from Louisiana!

Ditte B.: Hey! I’ve just come across this video, and it’s absolutely amazing as well as you! Your hair looks gorgeous and I’m just getting into truly treating my natural curls with all the products I can get my hands on as I’ve neglected them a bit and having left my hair looking like a big stack of hay! Can’t wait to see my results!

Classical Miss: Hey miss India! I recently started my curly hair journey, and was really confused at what to do for my hair. My mom started me on my journey, buttttttttttt, she follows all of the directions in the curly girl method book. She told me I didn’t need anything but the oil on my head and a spray bottle for my hair, and that I shouldn’t use shampoo anymore As a 15 year old girl with oily hair that I am told “smells” when I don’t wash it, the no shampoo law, was one I wasn’t going to follow. So, with no one else to turn to, I turned to youtube! That’s when I found your channel! I was so glad I was able to find a person who both believed in God and was an expert in curls! I was very excited! I went to the store and bought the Shea shampoo and conditioner and the Aussie gel, and also through in the microfiber towel Thank you so much for starting this channel! Your humor and wisdom on curls has meant the world to me! P:S I was wondering if you would do a video on how to apply gel? Thanks

Anika Abid: I NEED a haircut video, girl! I’m suffering from “triangle hair” and my waves need help! Love your videos ❤️

Holly Dueck: I've been searching for a content creator with a similar hair type to mine and I FINALLY found that with you!! It's been such a struggle trying to take styling advice from people with tighter curl patterns, and I'm so happy to have found somewhere I can get more relevant tips and tricks

emmadoggy: I FREAKING LOVE the Not Your Mother's Curl Talk products!! The whole line is awesome and works great for my fine, wavy hair! I also really like the SM Protein Power treatment.

Becky Boos: So Glad I found this channel! Watched so many curly hair videos that just wasn’t working for me until now (I have hair very similar to yours, fine, high density, bleached) and just tried your routine and finally got some volume in my hair!

Debbie Creekkiller: I agree with everyone else, you are absolutely gorgeous. This is my 2nd time back to this video for 2 reasons..1) To let you know I started using the hair flip on my medium to long curly hair, and I was amazed ! I don't know why or how it works, but, ladies, it works !!!! I'm closer to your beautiful, sweet mother's age, and I've never heard this tip until I heard it here !!! And 2) to actually write down some of the products you use. I'd mentioned in a previous comment on another video that I only very recently found you on YouTube. I didn't watch your videos at 1st, because you are the approximate age of one of my daughters. Then, I saw a video with both you and your mom and decided to watch. Your mother has the same curly hair as you and I do, and then I found out you have the same large, ummm... extra large boob and getting a comfortable bra issue as I've had. With that, I'm one of your followers, and loving it. You and your mom are a wonderful team. You are wonderful alone! You're very refreshing and funny and kind. You were a virgin until marriage , so I've selected a few of your videos my 14 yr old daughter can watch, also. That is also the decision she's made, and I thought it would be great for her and her friends see your point of view. As well as your husband's. So now, both my 14 yr old daughter and myself are followers. I appreciate that you've let everyone know that you are Godly ppl, as are we, and letting them know we're fun, have fun and aren't only 'only to church and back' people. We enjoy life to the fullest, as you obviously do, too. I suppose I'm saying your videos are much more than the typical hair, make-up, skincare and fashion videos. Knowing that young ppl like you and your husband, my daughter and her friends, are going to be the leaders and shapers of the future generation gives me so much hope and faith for our country. Thank you, and most importantly, keep the videos coming

_Tera__: You look gorgeous India Btw., the Shea Moisture protein treatment mask actually contains more moisturising ingredients than protein. If you take a look at the ingredient's list, protein is listed further down the list and only once or so. Also, I don't think it's really comparable to Olaplex no. 3, as Olaplex no. 3 is a bond builder and not a protein treatment.

Wendy Jones: I love love love this video ! I have long, thick wavy hair and have started my hair journey in the last 4 years I’d say. I’m from SoCal so moisture is always an issue for my hair.

Laurie Mayer: I am so with you on the Shea Moisture hydrate and repair protein power treatment… It’s one of the few things I’ve used that actually really helped detangle my hair more easily. It was a godsend!

Barbara Moretto: I love how we have basically the same products! The castor oil mask so good! Love how fluffy it is!

Stella Maria : Girl your hair is stunning!! You should try out the Cake line! Many people who have said NYM was their holy grail seem to have actually found themselves liking it even better, so I'm really looking forward to trying it myself :)

Kathy Yore: Your charm makes this so watchable and fun! I've always had frustrations with my curly/wavy hair. Your suggestions are great!

Anna López: India, you are SOOO beautiful!! I just followed this routine today and the results were amazing!! Could you do an updated video on what you do to your hair for days 2, 3, 4 etc? And a review on your favorite dry shampoos!! Thank you so much!!

Mara Diaz: Love how affordable your routine is!!

Vicki Harris: I can't wait for my hair to get long enough again so I can try that flip tip!! What does your refresh routine look like? I always struggled trying to get rid of the frizz or flyaways without pretty much resoaking my entire head.

General High Ground: I'm so glad India makes videos about what products she uses. I have hair that is very similar to her's and for a long time I was unable to care for it properly because I didn't know how. Now, without a doubt, I use most of what she uses or recommends because I know if it works in her hair, it will work in mine. Saves having had to go through so many products on my own. You've got a gorgeous head of hair India!

Bettyjeane Hansmann: I got the protein mask & the other mask & put them on my hair after my color! WOW SO AMAZING!! My curls don’t seem to be as curly after my color so I thought I would give this a try! This will now be my “holy grail” go to after coloring! I love watching your utube channel! I have learned so much about my hair.....thank you

Aiya M: I have a pretty dry scalp, and when i was using the Not Your Mothers curl talk shampoo/condition my hair did get a bit more dry and i never knew why until now! Thank you! However, i did LOVEEE the volume it gave my hair! Definitely going to keep it on my shelves for here and there use

Kayla Pupio: I’ve been LOVING CurlSmith products lately!! Been pairing the weightless air dry cream with the bouncy strength volume foam and GIRL ya gotta try it!

Roxy Roxii: Thanks for talking about Shea moisture brand. I absolutely love them. I think they got into “trouble” for targeting all hair types (if you can you believe that?!) but hey ho. Their power greens + protein conditioner packs even more protein than the power Manuka honey + protein product. Your hair responded beautifully to this wash day.

DrGoldieMD: I love the Innersense leave in conditioner. It’s lightweight, but really hydrate your hair and leaves it shiny.

Jon Frank: HI India! Thank you so much for posting this video-so helpful! I do have a question-when you are using the protein power treatment together with the Jamaican black castor oil mask or do you rinse between? Thanks!

LilyDontBeStupid: im soooooo glad you exist. i have curly hair and i have the feeling that it always has to be perfect and frizz-free, because that's what youtube tells me. but you make me feel like it's okay to not have the ''defined curls'' look. i also like the beachy look and the volume. i really love your routines and it also doesn't seem so difficult unlike some other routines i see on youtube. thankyou sooooo much because i like my hair a little bit more because of you <3 lots of love

TheCatsMeow: I love Shea's apple cider hair mask. My hair soaks it up to the point it starts to curl even while soaking wet (rare for a wavy head in the 2c/3a area)

Frizzandfrillzz: love this tutorial lady! so good and I also LOVE the Shea Moisture protein treatment! ❤️

Jose Contreras: Beautiful!! Love Curl Talk Gel. My absolute favorite. I also like the Curl Talk Cream. I like all the details and options that you gave depending on the look that one hopes to achieve. Yes, please show us your haircut (next time you do it)

Marcy Crabtree: Thank you for this. We have very similar hair - length, texture, curl pattern - but my hair never looks as good as yours. I didn’t use the exact same products, but just using the methods with my products made a huge difference.

Raquel U: I also love the SM Strengthen and Restore Masque, it is phenomenal! And I recently tried the Cantu Avocado Curl Activator - I thought it might way down my waves, but it didn't and it is my new favourite thing . It gave me such amazing definition!

herus aleron: literally in love with your hair. the color, the waves/curls, the volume, omg!!!

Stephanie Rempel: Totally agree with your comment on how Shea moisture isn't really "made" for hair like mine, but it works soo well for my hair and I love it! I will have to look for the maui combing cream but up here in Canada it's hard (and expensive) to get NYM products

Natalie Dantas: I've just stopped straightening my hair and letting it be its wavy self. it's a process, but I'm loving it so far! thank you for inspiring me! also, have you heard of the capillary schedule?

Ainsley Gritter: I just have to say this, India is probably one of the most drop dead gorgeous people I’ve ever seen.

Emily Urban: I used to highlight my hair as blonde as you are. I also had almost the exact texture & curl pattern as well as amount of volume and the illusion of thickness. Started with foils many years ago and then changed to balayage. I haven't done any of these treatments to my hair in over a year. Somewhat due to covid and also due to finances. Now my hair is it's natural color. A much darker blonde. The curl pattern has changed tho! I've noticed it''s not as fluffy and gets weighted down quicker. I'll have to try those lighter products you mentioned OR get back to the salon and get my highlights back again. This video makes me miss it a lot!

elle decker: Besides your obvious beauty...(I mean, cmon- you are the epitome of ocean eyes), you seem like such a cool, down to earth, chill chick. And that's what really shines through about you!! That's why I'm subscribed and come back... because i feel like im hanging with my homie!

Liz Shoemaker: GIRL! I was literally going to ask for this EXACT video (unsponsored)!!! I use the same Shea Moisture protein hair mask. I have also really been loving the HiBar moisture shampoo and conditioning bars, not your mothers deep conditioner, Maui Moisture leave in conditioner and of course Not Your Mothers Curl Mousse and gel. I use Badger Balms Argon Hair Oil, it’s nice.

Moni2088: I've been waiting for this video!! Thanks so much from a fellow bleached wavy girl! You're gorgeous!

Jasmine Healey: Thank you for this! I found your channel just today & subscribed halfway through the 1st video I watched & now I can't stop watching! You are so stunningly beautiful but your personality is still so charming & upbeat & relatable & inclusive & you don't act anything at all like most of the other exceptionally gorgeous girls I've seen on youtube. It's very refreshing & it's like... my jealousy wants me to hate you & to never see your flawless face again, but I already like you so much that I couldn't possibly cooperate! This video is so helpful & I definitely appreciate that you aren't showing us tons of high end products that would be impossible for many of us to afford. I am excited to try everything you showed in here because I still don't have a specific routine or certain tried, true & trusted products I use & I basically just don't have a clue as to how to handle my hair & just have to wing it. And I personally would love to & would very much appreciate seeing how you get your hair cut. That's another part of it that I'm completely lost on so I always end up being so unhappy w/ my curly hair that I use some kind of hot tool to completely alter it. And since I now have tons of extreme breakage & shedding & thinning going on (it's bad, like, really scaring me), I have to stop with all the heat & go aú natural. So thank you again, so much. I'm really glad I found you today!

Stitch Lightly: I found that curl talk shampoo really irritated my eyes because of bangs. However, carol's daughter cannot get enough rants and raves from me and I loved the way my bangs "behaved" and still had a bit of bounce to them. I've heard other people say that Carol's Daughter can be stripping for them, but I found it really helped my hair look less flat and greasy this winter.

Nicole Waldschmidt: I have been recently working on bringing my natural curl back , you have been my inspiration So the first two products you do, how often do you do them? Weekly & do you them both each time? I have bought all of the products you recommend and like everything so far!!

Jennifer S: Love the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil line for my wavy/curly hair too!

Jackie D: Yes to the haircut video please! My hair has gotten so long & wild during quarantine, I need some inspiration for a fresh cut! Oh and I love It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In!

Ashleigh Carney: I’ve been away from the CG community since I had to give up deva curl. But I’m ready to come back and happy to see your face and your current recommendations

Erin Altstadt: don't have a holy grail product, but thank you for such a detailed video, and for laying out all the product so clearly. Thank you!

Isamar: Love that combing cream! Smells delicious and leaves the hair super soft

Melissa Menke: Yes on filming your haircut! Your tips and suggestions are wonderful. I wish I knew so many of your suggestion at a younger age. I just turned 60...omg! Still, it's never too late.

Anna Butler: It's actually crazy how similar my hair is to yours in texture and curl pattern (I just don't take as good care of it lol)... have you ever used the MopTop Curly Hair Custard? I'd be curious to know your thoughts. I feel like it works pretty well for me but I don't know much about taking care of my hair

Kelli Fedds: Love your energy! Thanks for your tips, really helpful!

Kristen's Classroom: Love this video!! Refreshing my curls right now while I'm watching! :)

Aubrey Thai: Love this! Your hair is beautiful could you make a video on how you refresh your waves/curls after day 1? I have a very similar curl pattern and would love to see how do it ☺️

Laundrey1: I love the Shea Moisture Protein and Manuka Honey line for shampoo, conditioner, and mask but I switch between that and Maui Moisture orange shampoo for curly hair. My holy grail styling products are Mar Anthony Curl Define Lotion, Miss Jessie’s Curl Meringue Cream, and Miss Jessie’s Jelly Soft Curls. That gel has been my holy grail for so long. I found out that my hair needed protein moreso than moisture and I was thinking it needed moisture all the time since I moved to a dry climate.

Flo K: I learned so much from your videos about taking care of my curls! Thank you!

Ioana Schifirnet: Even though it's a good amount of steps (which if you have bleached and wavy hair, you kinda have to do quite a bit of work), but I love how you make it feel very doable! I'll sometimes watch other hair routine videos and feel so overwhelmed but I keep coming back to yours because it makes me feel like it's all doable! Thank you!!

TheBeautybound: Thanks for sharing this in such detail. My only question is, do you do the two masks every time you shower your hair? Or is this a once-a-month/as-needed part? Thanks!

Through faith and grace: You are so beautiful. I just got the Shea moisture protein powder for my hair :) my hair is naturally curly and I am doing the curly girl method just starting out!! Whoop whoop! :)

Blossom Orchard-Pine: My best friend with pin straight hair absolutely loves the Jamaican black castor oil hair mask. It's a straight up banging product.

marley mitchell: Protein treatments and bond builders are actually different! They can and should be used in conjunction with each other. The bond builders attach the proteins together, they don’t add proteins. So for max efficiency you should use both. Just so you know!

D N: Absolutely loved the video and newly subscribed! Just wanted to give a heads up to beware of the ingredients EDTA and tocopherol (Vit E). If I remember correctly, both are carcinogens. The safe alternative to tocopherol is tocotrenal.

Susan Craigo: I will have to try the Maui Moisture comb cream. A stylist recommended the IGK Rich Kid. It works fairly well. My curls are more 2a/2b, but getting more defined the less heat I put on my hair.

Chapa Dissanayake: You’re literally the most beautiful blue eyed blonde girl I’ve seen

Roanna Sanelli: India, i recently just came across your channel and girl I am hooked. I just find you so relatable and down to earth! I have just started my curly hair journey and have hair like yours! Yet I tend to struggle with the under half of my hair in that some pieces dry straightish... Any good tips? Thanks! ❤

Snorigtand Lisa: Thank you so so much i have been using products for straight hair when I naturally have curly hair. I used wrong conditioner and shampoo that made my hair frizzy. A couple months ago my hair was extremely damaged but i started watching hair care videos. I am so grateful for the help and i love how you make it easy explainable<3

N House: That conditioner is my favorite too!! My hair just LOVES it!! And I think I got it back in the day because you mentioned it!

Kate James: Should wait 3 days after getting highlights to shampoo, and 2 weeks before deep conditioning. The color needs time to set. You can use a mask as a conditioner but don’t let it sit more than 2 minutes for the first couple weeks after getting color. It opens your cuticle and lets the color out.

Rachel Francis: This is so helpful!! Thank you for making this. I love watching your videos!

Beth Menchaca: I am seriously in love with the TGIN miracle conditioner. Best deep conditioner yet! I also like their Sweet Honey curl milk and I top it with Eco gel.

Valerie J: I’m watching because I have curls, but just wanted to say: you’re so damn pretty….don’t ever change your face - it’s perfection.

Esperanza Meisch: My mom and I like to experiment with my curly hair routine... You are one of the few YouTuber's that we still come back too.

Leslie L.: My husband rarely uses anything but he loves Shea Moisture coffee scrub. Looks like I need to look into this company’s products bc it’s seriously the best thing since sliced bread

Tessa Van der Velden: Love this video! ❤️ I would definitely love to see a video about your haircut! I'm really searching to get more volume at the roots, so it would be amazing to see what you do with your haircut Also, you looked amazing in that light blue jumper, your eyes popped and you simply rocked that look

Mitzie Max: I’ve had extreme hair loss since switching to Shea moisture products! I’ve heard it’s becoming a common issue. Has anyone else experienced this?

DeNiese Harrell: Love the combing cream! My holy grail that I keep returning to is diy flaxseed gel...lightweight and cheap. Just finding the time to make it, strain it, etc.. is my problem.

Mariza Monckton: This was fantastic to find as I am only just embracing my natural hair texture at 34! Just wish all your products were available in the UK though. I’m struggling to figure everything out as it’s all very overwhelming

Sativa Larson: I am in LOVE with both of those shea moisture masks!!! I also bleach my hair and they have been AMAZING

Gail Tanner: I love the Manuka honey protein treatment it really has helped. Thank you. I would love to see your hair cut. We have similar hair but your cut is getting you that beautiful volume. Thanks for posting

Irai Rod: My product that I can't live without: Jessicurl Spiralicious gel. It's my one-and-done styler. Other than shampoo and conditioner, nothing else goes in my hair on wash day--no leave-in, cream, mousse, setting mist, oil...nada.

Ghadah Kaleel: I love Shea Moisture too, I keep hearing people complain that it isn't good quality, but I love what it does for my wavy, fine hair.

Isabel rose: Can you do an updated curl refresh routine as well?? Like when you wake up in the morning

Kissable Star: Been doing so much research on the best method to air dry my curls. Currently a blow dry straight girl of 10 plus years and it's just always what I do that's easiest that comes out decent. I have tried so many methods and never get the look I want. It's either completely flat on top, completely a frizzy mess, or it's just didn't work at all. I hope I can try this and get some decent results. Thank you your help looks amazing!

MrsBrandiSherman: I have the same kind of curls and love the Maui products... thank you for this video I realize I have been making a few little mistakes when I go to dry my hair so thank you soooo much for sharing!!!

Kristen_Laura: Omg your hair is beautiful! Definitely going to be buying some of these products. Thank you so much for all of the helpful tips !

Kita: Do a video where you do a “perfect” definition hair. Show us the steps and results! Kinda like a challenge

Coffee Curly Girl: The Manuka mask is everything! Saved my bleached hair.

MaryBeth Raines: India, my favorite hydrating treatment is Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisture Masque. I just tried the Shea Moisture Hydrate and Repair treatment that you recommended and maybe since it was the first time, didn't get that great of results. I will try it again. I have 3 B-C hair.

jo: the TIME it must take and the dedication you have to put everything in the description

Natalie Jenner: Sheamoisture is such an awesome brand. I am definitely going to try the Manuka honey and yogurt mask next time I go to my beauty supply store. What blush do you wear? It makes your blue eyes pop. Stunning!

M a r i a: Flipping your hair side to side is a game changer, thank you!!!

River allen: hey India! like you I'm a naturally dirty blonde but I highlight my hair to be a bright blonde white. I have wavy curly hair like yours but finer. I was wondering if you have any tips on stopping breakage? all love x

akiyoshidai1231: African-american hairstylusts understand curly hair like nobody else. I've been following a bunch of them for years and they are amazing. You should try if you haven't.
