Hello, everybody and welcome back to southeast by Midwest, I'm Cassie, and today we are going to be talking about the kenra, professional, platinum, detox and deflect line. So if you want to know more about this line, just keep watching as always here on southeast by Midwest. Before we talk about the products we always disclose, and the disclosure for this video is that these were sent to me to facilitate a review. However, I was not paying anything additional in order to talk about these products and, as always, all opinions are my own. So before we talk about the individual products, let's talk about the camera, professional, platinum, detox and deflect Lyme, as just like a general. Basically, what this line is designed to do is it's basically designed to basically detoxify your hair, basically clarify it. You might know as a better term. You know it's supposed to be like a clarifying line and on top of that, it's also supposed to protect against pollutants damaging your hair. So I have tried other kenra platinum products. The one that you may have seen mentioned and other places is the anti aging shampoo conditioner and there's a snail CC cream, which is probably one you may have heard of it, and I actually really really really liked that line. So when I saw this as being available to review, I was like yes, I want to try it. Please please pick me and send me they did, and so now we're going to talk about it. So what I'm going to do is for each product, I'm going to tell you what it does. I'M going to tell you the size, I'm gon na tell you how much it repro tells for, and I'm gon na tell you my thoughts as well, so we're gon na start out with the detox and deflect shampoo. This is safe for color-treated, hair. First off this is a daily clarifier and protector. This is the eight and a half ounce bottle. They make a bigger one with like a little pump on it, which is a thirty one point five ounce bottle and this size retails for $ 18, the bigger size retails for $ 40. So the like, I said this is supposed to be a gentle daily, clarifying shampoo. It has activated charcoal enriched into the formula, which is what kind of helps it clarify they use activated charcoal. It has diamond dust in it to help protect against everyday pollutants. Basically, so what I want to mention is first off: if you get this, don't be scared alright, so this is what it looks like it. The activated charcoal. It is a black shampoo. It is not, as far as I know, going to stain your hair um when you, when I first smell this, I was like. Oh my. That is a manly set and it is a bit of a kind of because they didn't put any added like floral or fragrances in it. That kind of charcoal scent is very kind of unisex. I will say that with this one, if you're, not somebody who uses a lot of extra product in the hair that you need to clarify out you're not going to want to get the shampoo, because I'm not someone who uses like a lot of hair gels and Mousse and a lot of hairspray and stuff like that, so I found that that, after using this as a you know, daily shampoo that it kind of left my hair feeling a little too clean that kind of trippy streaky kind of feeling clean. So I would not recommend this if you're, not someone who uses it, who uses a lot of haircare products or styling products or stuff like that. However, if you do use a lot of styling products, this would be perfect for you for a daily shampoo, it's good. It'S just it's a little too clean for my hair, which brings us to the conditioner same size. This is 8.5 ounces. They sell the big size, which is the 31 point. Five ounces same prices. This is $ 18. The biggest size is $ 40. This is supposed to be a lightweight daily conditioner that helps renew the hair's natural radiance. It also has the diamond dust to deflect from the everyday pollutants. It'S supposed to give. You know really good shine and help really more sure eyes the hair. This does not have the activated charcoal in it; they do have fragrance in them by the way, but they just didn't add like a floral fragrance. Alright, this does not have activated charcoal in it. So, as you can see, it's basically just a off-white kind of conditioner for this one, this one left my hair feeling so smooth it kind of felt buttery soft. If that makes sense, it does have a similar scent to the other one, but it was it's worth it for the way that it left my hair feeling. I will repurchase this one to use throughout the week. It won't be like my daily conditioner, but I can see using this when I use the next product that I'm going to talk about. So I highly recommend this one. Even if you don't use a lot of products and you you don't need to clarify all the time. The next product is the deep detox scrub and with this one it hasn't made a squeezy tub. It has that same kind of charcoal look to it, but it's like a thicker consistency. This is six ounces and it retails for $ 28. Now you can use this two ways according to Kendra Professionals. First way is you can use it before you color you massage. This into your damp hair leave it for five minutes, rinse it out and apply color. I honestly don't know what that's gon na. Do I've always been told that you wanted on clean hair, but not like super clean hair. So I don't know about that. But it says you can juice it that way and the way that I have used it because I'm not coloring my hair anytime soon is um. You massage it. You can do it as like weekly scrub and you massage it again into the damp hair and you leave it in for three to five minutes depending on basically how much you need to clarify your hair. If you don't need to clarify a lot, then you would leave it in for three. If you need to clarify a lot, leave it in for five, you know and then basically you rinse it out, and it's not recommended that you use this more than once or twice a week. This is supposed to again renew the hairs natural radiance and it has a higher concentration of the activated charcoal now for this one. This left my hair looking and feeling great one of the best products that I've tried out in a long time and if you come back, I've been doing a lot of haircare. Recently, I felt like this deep talked scrub, just kind of went in and just basically kind of reset, my hair, which isn't really possible. You know any damaged areas damaged. This did not leave my hair feeling stripped at all. I really really enjoyed this. I recommend this to anyone you use if you want to use any kind of a clarifying product to get like sweat and stuff out of your out of your scalp, even if it is a you use it all the time and you're going to be using this. I still suggest at least once a week changing it out for this this, I recommend for anyone whether you use a lot of products, little products whatever this product, if you get nothing else, this is the one you should be getting the last product is this ginormous? Can here - and this is the Kendra professional, platinum diamond deflect spray - this is an 8 ounce can that is ginormous, and this is $ 23. This is a medium hold hairspray. So this means that it's gon na give you a little bit of a flexible kind of hold to it. It'S not going to basically just submit your hair down. It'S gon na kind of leave it there, but you're. It'S still gon na it's gon na feel like it's, not crunchy, and it's gon na have a little bit of movement to it. So if you're looking for something that's gon na like make it where your thing is gon na last, this isn't it. But if you're looking for something that will help it last but still makes it look, you know still has some movement to it. Then this is what you want to get now. This has the diamond dust in it, so it protects against the pollutants. That'S like an an added barrier on top and basically it gives a little bit of shine at the end. I really really liked this. I don't know if I would repurchase this, because I don't use hairspray that often, but if you're someone who is like, I said looking for you, know something that's gon na hold it, but not leave it like super plastered and you're. Also starting to think you know. Ooh, what is that outside pollutants? What are those things like that doing to my hair and you're wanting to start kind of adding in protection but you're not wanting to go like with this cuz you're afraid it might strip the hair? This is a good place to start with, so I recommend it if you're, that kind of a person. Overall, I thought that this was a great line. I found some products that I really enjoy like the conditioner and the deep scrub and then some products that are probably for some people, but just aren't up my alley, which are of these two products, like I said, they're good, and they would be good for some People but they're just not something that I'm going to be able to use as an everyday product. Natoya Ellis: You had me at activated charcoal and DIAMOND DUST! Thank you for introducing me to Kenra I haven't heard of them until now but I would love to try the shampoo and the Deep Detox Scrub.

Cosmetopia Digest: I haven't heard of this range before. I love a good clarifying product once in a while to get rid of product build-up. Great to hear it also protects from damage. I've never used a hair product with activated charcoal, though I've used lots of skincare. Oooh! Diamond dust! Do you have to use the shampoo every day? I only wash my hair every 3-4 days. I love me a good conditioner. I wonder if you can use this for CO-washing (one of my bi-weekly washes is CO-washing). I haven't ever used a hair scrub! I've used a scalp scrub for dandruff, though. I've never coloured my hair either. I have to try a hair scrub! Can it be used standalone without a shampoo or condish? For some reason, serums and creams work better on my hair than mists or sprays, though I'm working on that. I don't like rigid hold either; I like to use as less hold (or product) as possible!

BeginNails Kristi V: Great review! I love hair products and always looking for new to me brands to try out.

KatFirth: This sounds amazing! My hair is dry as at the moment. It needs all the help it can get.

Stephanie Clayton: Nice hearing about the line. My favorite thing I use in my hair is Aussie 3 minute miracle.

Leyla Harrell: I've not tried any kenra products but I'm curious about the scrub, I use the Christophe Robin about once a month and I only shampoo once per week anyway. I also love my living proof PHD

Kristi West: I have never heard of this brand. With all the styling products I use, I'm sure this would be great to eliminate build up.

Astoldbyjenny: I haven’t heard of this brand before. It sounds like it has good claims. I’ve never heard of an anti aging shampoo. Good to know it’s okaybfor colored hair. $18 is steep for a shampoo in my opinion. I haven’t jumped on the charcoal train yet.oh interesting a black shampoo. Ah I hate when you get that stripped feeling. A light weight conditioner sounds nice. Lots of conditioners are too heavy for my hair. I’m glad to hear that it works well! A hair scrub? I’ve never heard such a thing. Very interesting. Wow that can is huge lol I like a flexable gold hair spray. I hate crunchy hair lol very interesting products. Thanks for the review!

Katie Marie: That detox sounds so unique! I’d be scared of the color too!

EnglishProfStyle: Great review! I'm glad to know what works well and what would be overpowering scent wise for me.

Allison Cohen: I like clarifying shampoo, but I only use it about once a month. I need a new one, but charcoal anything is usually too strong for me. Thank you for the informative review!

Lisa Heath: I keep hearing about their hair care and I've been so curious about it!

Mai T Ly: My hair could use a good clarifying shampoo, this sounds like a great one!

Lulle.Beaumiroir: You always have the coolest hair products to share!

Tina Maughan: I think I have used this brand before I got a sample in my ipsy bag , it was a deep mask and was nice. Awesome they picked you! I don’t use shampoo like that daily it’s to harsh on my hair . Lol ok same issue then. Diamond dust sounds interesting and the conditioner sounds great. Hummm maybe it was that scrub I tried I used it like once a week it was great. Yikes 23 for hair spray nope. I like the sound of that sort of sometimes a light hair spray is great. I avoid hair spray as much as I can.

Haffina: Activated charcoal doesnt usually stain, so it shouldn't put any colour in your hair. Sounds like a good 'occasional' shampoo for those of us who don't use product in their hair

Nina Kasper: I am always looking for new hair care products! Thanks for sharing!

Maskara Cakes: Great review thanks!

Marcia Friedman: I've always liked Kenra Professional Products. I doubt I need the Detox since a clarifying shampoo can pull out the keratin treatment I currently have.

Megan Ivanyos: Thank you for the review

Aylie Rose: I'm so bad for sticking to the same brand, ive been using aussie for years now. I don't really use styling products so don't really go for clarifying shampoos. The conditioner sounds nice, i find that my hair is so picky with products. hair scrub, ive never heard of that before, i usually focus on moisturising stuff cause ve started bleaching my hair again. I hate hairspray! i don't know why, i think its cause of the crunchy feeling my hair is dry enough anyways ha.

Jen Walker: I don't know that I like the idea of daily activated charcoal in my shampoo. For me, that would be a once a week kind of shampoo, otherwise I think it would send my sebum production into overdrive.

Kathryne Marie: Looks like a good haircare line to me

Cindy Ingalls: I need a good clarifying shampoo, I'll have to try this.

lena7623: I wonder if that Detox Scrub would help with my scalp issues.

BadKittyBeauty: I use medicated shampoo usually and i do not use too much styling products. This would not be for me. Great review though!

25 Sweetpeas: I wish my scalp would let me try more things but its not great about that! Usually if I find one that works it takes forever to find something else!

Beauty Riot X: I use the Volumizing shampoo. It’s just meh. I haven’t tried any of these products. Kenra just isn’t a brand a gravitate towards. But I love the whole containing charcoal thing. Did u mention, did I miss it, is any of this sulfate free? I tend to stay away from conditioners. They weigh my hair down. I love using clarifying shampoos. I found this product call Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse. Amazing. Best I’ve ever found. The scrub sounds similar to the briogeo charcoal scalp scrub. I’m so grateful that I don’t have to pay full price for professional hair products. That would make trying them way less fun. I love bumble and bumble spray the best. Who sent you this stuff? A PR company or Kenra?

Andrea Megan: I wouldn't be able to use that unfortunately as I am sensitive to charcoal. But it does look like a good system.

Jennifer Tesauro: I'd have the same problem as you - ultra clean, stripped hair. I use absolutely nothing in my hair but shampoo & conditioner.

Ms. Kelly T.: awesome review thanks for sharing

𝑂𝑚𝑛𝑒𝑦𝑎'𝑠 𝑊𝐼𝑆𝐻: Did the shampoo squeak when you rubbed your hair? Do you have the same kinda hair as me thin and kinda dry? Does the clarifying exfoliate the scalp? I have bald ( almost ) all around my head. I have the Kenra purple dye that I never ended up using as I couldn't get my hair white enough. Nice review, thanks for sharing.

It’s me Lisa MG: You can detox your hair? Never knew that

Claudia Materdomini: Sounds like one that wouldnt work for me. I color my hair but don't use a lot of other products

Maskara Cakes: Bahahaha that is a manly scent
