Hello guys welcome back to Cheers or welcome to Cheers if you are new here, I wanted to do a haircare review for you guys on a product that I have been using for quite some time now. I recently posted, maybe like a few weeks ago, the video of why I stopped using the function of beauty, e, shampoo and conditioner set, and in that video I mentioned that I switched over to a brand called tangy muddy and it's a Korean haircare brand. And I'm really excited to share with you a new shampoo and conditioner from the same tangy, muddy brand that I recently discovered and have been enjoying so so much these guys right here, they're kind of huge bottles. I got these at Costco. My mom was actually there and she watches our videos on the channel. She was like um, you know they're selling, pinky money at Costco. Do you want me to buy it and I was like yeah. I want to try them out so um. She got them for me. I believe they were. These two together in a set was $ 27.99 at Costco, I'm not sure what other places sell them or how much they cost that other stores. But if I can find them online, I will link all the places. I can find it down below. Hopefully it's a good price, but it's cost, though you can't really beat Costco's awesome pricing. This product is called tangy money, key gold premium, shampoo and treatment and treatment. It'S just a fancy word for a conditioner, shampoo and conditioner set. I kind of wanted to spend some time going over the ingredients and the effects its had on my hair personally. So, if you're interested in knowing a little bit more about the purpose of the shampoo and conditioner and some of the ingredients in these hair products, as well as my thoughts, then just keep watching the shampoo and conditioner do pretty much the same thing and they target The same problems: they do use different ingredients to tackle those problems, so I'll start with the shampoo first. So the purpose of the shampoo is to improve scalp help and improve your hair follicles for a stronger hair. It also helps with dandruff and itchiness, improves hair loss and provides nutrients to the scalp, as you guys know, or my function of beauty, video. If you haven't seen that yet I will link it up in the cards. I'Ve been dealing with a lot of hair loss from using that line of shampoo and conditioner. I was so excited after my mom bought it for me at Costco because of the hair loss factor and that's something. I'Ve been struggling with for a few months now and a lot of hair has been growing back, and I think this shampoo has really been helping with the amount of hair that I've been losing. I kind of want to dive into the ingredients in this shampoo. I'M gon na just touch on the three significant herbs that are in this product on every single tanguay, muddy shampoo. They do show pictures of the key ingredients so in this shampoo it has the three pictures of the ingredients right here, as well as the names listed below. So I just wanted to kind of take some time and go over the ingredients and what those specific ingredients target in this product. So the first ingredient is Korean ginseng. A lot of Korean hair care products, shampoos and conditioner use ginseng in their products, and that is just something that is across the board almost in every single hair care product in Korea, it's not as common in shampoos and conditioners that you would find in the US. But it is common in a lot of Asian hair care products. The purpose of Korean ginseng is to strengthen your hair, follicles and scalp. It basically means it nourishes your roots and when you have healthy roots, it encourages and promotes hair growth. The second ingredient is green. Tea, green tea is found in a lot of skincare and hair care products, and this is an ingredient that's recently kind of trickled into American hair care products, and what green tea does is kind of balance. Your oil levels on your hair. It gets rid of bitchiness and it gets rid of dandruff if you have any it balances out how much oil production happens on your scalp to a healthier level. The reason why that that is helpful for your hair is because, if your hair is super oily, you're gon na be washing it a lot more, which isn't super good for your hair, because it's stripping all of the oils off of your scalp, which is actually leaving Your hair is really stripped and dry and then, if you have really dry hair, you're, adding oils and things that aren't being naturally produced so green tea kind of helps your body to find that balance of oil production in your hair, which, in the long run, helps Your hair health, the last ingredient - I hope, I'm saying it correctly - it's called Sephora flab essenes and it is a root used in a lot of Eastern medication. However, when put into you hair care products, it promotes your hair growth. So this is the ingredient. That'S going to encourage your hair to grow from your scalp and grow longer, moving on to the treatment or the conditioner, its purpose is to repair already damaged hair, it improves your hair texture and it also adds keratin and panthenol to make your hair shiny and smooth. So three herbs that they use in the conditioner are listed right here and I'll kind of take some time to go through that with you guys. The first ingredient, just like the shampoo, is Korean ginseng. I won't go too far into what that does, because I've already explained that earlier, so I'm gon na move right into the other two ingredients see. Second ingredient is Artemisia, it's otherwise known as mugwort, and it sounds really weird, but it is a weed found in nature, and this is also used a lot in Eastern medication. However, when it's put into hair care products, it helps prevent hair loss. The third ingredient - I don't know why all the third ingredients are super hard for me to pronounce. I hope I'm not butchering it, but it's called medium efficient. All that last herb helps stimulate your hair follicles and, as you guys know, if you stimulate your hair follicles as in like give it a massage. Every now and or I know, a lot of people will put things that are a little bit spicy on their roots. To kind of get it tingly and like encourage the hair growth, this one doesn't have an irritating feeling at all, but it does naturally promote your hair follicles to encourage hair growth, so those are the main ingredients in both the shampoo and conditioner. Now I kind of wanted to talk to you guys about my personal experience so far with this product. I'Ve been using these for about a month now, and I stopped using my tea tree oil and tansy buddy. I let my husband is that it's not going to waste, and sometimes if I do want, like a cooling sensation on my scalp, I totally will go back and use that one, but for the most part I've been sticking with these two products. I have been absolutely loving it, and now you totally feel a difference in my hair. I didn't do anything to my hair. All they did was wash it and let it air dry, which is why I have like these interesting waves happening, but the most part, my hair is super straight, and it just feels so different. It'S so soft. I do want to put a little disclaimer, though they these two products do have silicones in them, which kind of you know gives you that soft feeling I know a lot of people out there, don't like some colors in your haircare products. I don't really like them. Either, but if the shampoo and conditioner are really good, it doesn't really bother me, especially if it's being balanced out by a lot of really great ingredients. That I know is helping my hair. So, first off I've noticed just a total difference in texture. As you guys know, I bleach the ends of my hair and our in quarantine, so I haven't done it in a long time. Hence all my grow out, but my bleached ends are SuperDuper dry, SuperDuper damaged and, of course it doesn't fix all of the damage. And again I haven't been using this for a super long time, but during the time I've used it. I do feel a difference in my hair texture. It'S just a lot smoother. I can run my fingers through it a lot easier and it's just a lot easier to style. It also feels lighter. As you guys know, I have super long hair, so it gets heavy and it gets really annoying and it's depending on the product. It can really weigh down my hair and kind of like let me lose a lot of volume, but with this shampoo and conditioner, I do feel like a lightness, but at the same time I feel like I have a lot more hair like when I tie up My hair in a hair tie, I notice that I bring the hair tight around fewer times than I would before I use this haircare set and y'all know. I can't do a review without mentioning the scent of the product. This is one thing that I'm just like. I didn't really like it so, first of all the shampoo, it does have a ginseng smell and I can tell they added some fragrances and things like that to kind of cover it, but you can really still smell it, especially if you have a sensitive nose. Like me, if you've ever smelled ginseng, it's super herbally and here's like the consistency and color of the product. It'S super thick and it does have that ginseng type of color and it does smell like that. That being said, once you rinse it off, you do not smell the ginseng anymore and I don't know how they did that, because I've used herbal shampoos in the past and you can definitely still smell the ginseng after you rinse it off. But with this one I have zero like it does not leave a trace of it at all, especially if you use a treatment afterwards. This to me smells like old grandmas, like you know, like the potpourri smell, it's just very strongly, floral, here's the consistency of the treatment. It really just looks like lotion. It'S a very interesting texture. It'S not like any conditioner that I found in this day because, when you use conditioners like from the drugstore whatever like it, has a slippy feeling to it when you rinse it off this one does not it actually just kind of like. I don't know how to explain it, but when you wash it off, it kind of goes like like it leaves it slippery and tangle free, but it just doesn't absorb the same as American conditioners that I've used. So that has been like a learning curve. For me, I think this is what helps really get rid of the herbal smell from the shampoo and I'm not really sure how they did this either. It'S like magic, but after I put it in my hair, they recommend that you leave the treatment in for at least three minutes. So what I do is, I just put it all up in my hair and since this does help your follicles and nourishes your roots, you do have to kind of rub it into your scalp. Usually, I would just do conditioner like from here down, but with this I make sure I did it everywhere and then I'll just tie my hair up in a bun and go about like washing my body and things like that in the shower. But this smells like really strong when you're using it, but once you rinse it off, it smells so good, like my husband has never complimented me more on how my hair smells then, since I've started using this like he's just like during the quarantine, I've been solely Keeping my visit II, my visitation to immediate family only and they've, been doing the same so that we can all still see each other and stay safe. My mom and my sister both have complimented my hair smell after I switched over to these products, and I smell it every now and then would I like turn my hair fast or like. If I have my hair up - and I take it down like I smell it - it just smells so good and I have no idea what they did to make it do that, because, when you're using it in the shower, it doesn't smell like it does after you, Rinse it out, I don't know how it works, but it is balm also with this shampoo, since there, the green tea that helps kind of balance, your oil levels, I don't have to wash my hair as often as I did, with the function of beauty shampoo, which Is really weird because the function of beauty shampoo was like literally the only shampoo I could use that, would balance my oils and keep my oils at bay, but this shampoo it does it even better than the other one for a function of BD. I could go about four days without washing my hair for this one. I can literally go a whole week and on day seven it starts looking a little bit greasy. I don't know how, but the science behind the shampoo is incredible. I'Ve never used a shampoo. That is that good at controlling my oil, it's just been like really life-changing. For me, I'm hoping that costo continues to sell this set because I am officially hooked and I don't know if I can ever go back to any other type of shampoo and conditioner um Costco. If you're watching this, please keep it like. It is so good. I'Ve been enjoying it so so much if you've tried this line of shampoo and conditioner. Calm Before The Storm: I bought this product at Costco due to price. My experience was so amazing I googled to find out more and was directed to your video. Your review is on target! I was not thrilled with the color and the smell of either product but decided to use them rather than waste money. After three days I am heading back to Costco to purchase several more sets. 1) I kept going to the mirror because I could not believe the feel and the condition of my hair. I thought I was imaging how incredible the results were. 2) I wash my hair every day. I am on day 3 and still do not need to wash my hair. However, I did because I love the results. Whenever people say "this product changed my life" or something similar I think they are being hyberbolic. Not this time...this product is amazing.

amanda kristine • hello.hoogahygge: I am SOOOOO happy hour reviewed this because I’ve seen it at Costco twice now and keep forgetting to research it! It’s been a long time since I used a Korean shampoo and I really want to try something with ginseng and green tea!

Faith Navasca: I just bought it 2 days ago at Costco here in Hawai’i for $20 (this was a splurge for me because I don’t spend more than $7 for hair care) and used it yesterday. I am loving it, especially it’s just my first time. It made my hair very soft and smooth, smells pretty good too. I looked up Daeng Gi Meo Ri everywhere and saw that they are more expensive than what I bought them for. So when I come back to Costco, I’m buying 2 more. Ha ha ha! Thank you for your video, your voice is pretty soothing and you did a good job!!

it'sMidTrib: I didn’t know they had them at Costco! I bought mine from HauteLook 3 months ago and couldn’t find any reviews online. Thank you for going over the ingredients because mine is all in korean. I used devacurl and my hair became fried/frizzy looking and started falling out in chunks. I had to chop it off. When I started using this shampoo it could feel a difference like no other shampoo before and I’m never going back to western shampoo

Artemis: Love this shampoo and conditioner. Saved my damage hair after I bleached before. At first I didn't like the smell and the texture, but I continue to use and patiently waiting for the result, I'm surprised that my hair become soft and manageable again, less frizzy and control hair loss. I also noticed the more I use the smell became refreshing to my hair. This shampoo is really great for perm/curly hair. The best shampoo I ever had.. ❤

Paul Wong: Seems really good! I'm just wondering... 1) How does it compare to Kirkland brand shampoo/conditioner, Marc Anthony coconut oil shampoo/condition, and the Alba Botanica one? 2) One thing holding me back is the sodium laurel sulfate... any thoughts on that? :S

iviewutoob: i hope Costco keeps this line forever. They already kicked out a lot of my favorite products.

J.v.: I love these. I've bleach my hair so many times. Is white and breaking. Only used this twice and it's so much better than anything else I've seen on YouTube for bleached blonde hair. Also my daughter used it all summer, no more dandruff and her hair got super long super fast

MayaNatsu: im so glad to found this video..i am struggling with hair loss/itchy scalp/dandruff etc. for a long time and have tried so many different shampoo's..all kind of drug store and also high end products but have never found the right one , btw i have also straight asian hair. I really thought about the products of function of beauty , cause there are tons of reviews and recommendation about it..but after seeing this video i guess i will try the daeng gi meo ri instead, cause i do have sensitive scalp and it get really irritated and itchy really quick

Samira: I LOVE the smell of my hair as a result of this product! I actually don't smell what you mean by herbally... everyone compliments how my hair smells.

C J: Just bought the set and found your channel. OMG. I love it too. After using it just once I am noticing it feels stronger. Hair is still wet. Brushed out very nice. I like the scent. Anyway feeling.luke I should rush back to Costco to get another set just in case they run out! Thanks for the review.

Marie Gomez: omg thank God for this video! does anyone know if they sell this at emart in south korea? I'm assuming this would be easy to find in SK but just wanted to make sure this is something I can find in the "drug stores" or emart vs some fancy boutique hehe

Bi: I feel so stupid I couldn’t figure out how to “unlock” the pumpSo I searched this but the pumps were already open so I was immediately sad. As I am watching I figured it outThis review definitely help in confidence in my purchase because this is my first time using. The shampoo I have is from another line, Ryo. Wish me luck!

Shannon Hughes: My son is Korean/American. His hair is becoming more coarse the older he has become. Do you think this is a product that will work for him?

Firefly 2008: Next time you go to Costco fill out one of the Tell Us What you Think forms. The more people request the product it will be brought back.

Susanna: I used the same conditioner on my scalp as well and it flatted my hair. Just wanted to make sure that it’s supposed to go on the scalp every use? Also how many times should you be washing/using this in a week?

han zhang: Just bought a set from Costco! thanks for your review!

Jasmine Che: Mine cost 59.99 at Costco.. but they changed owners and its called Superstore now

susie Vidal: I checked on Amazon and they have a hair loss shampoo in this brand and they have a regular one which one did you buy ?

Mei Chen: Is this shampoo suitable for all hair types? I have oily scalp

Angela R: I read on the bottom of my bottle and it says it could lead to hair loss if not rinsed out completely....just wondering if this is true ?

Lejla Brenda: You can get them at sams club too

theKettleXBlack: Hey girl, what did you ask for when you got your nails done? Like the shape. I love the styling, I usually only do crazy ones

Z0Bear: aw man, i've been pronouncing this brand's name wrong this whole time.

Stacy Nguyen: Is this shampoo dark colored? Will it affect bleached hair?

Sorala Silber: Does the shampoo conditioner help hair loss and shedding can you use on oily scalp dry ends

Duggo Kseibat: Really helpful video thank you!

Calvin Hang: Do you think that these two products would work well with a shadow permed hair?

mike weisz: This is the best product hands down

Noor Jahan: Are u still using this brand?

Edna Rocha: Does anybody know what the bad smell in the conditioner is?

Nestor Angel: Do you notice any help with the hair loss? You don't say anything about that. Thanks
