DISCLAIMER: I decided to try this ice mold to share my personal thoughts and experience. Be cautious when using ice directly on the skin as it can burn the skin if left on too long. Stick to a few seconds only and keep the ice moving, or cover the ice with a light towel and apply. Always do what's best for your own skins needs. I'm not a doctor, dermatologist or specialist, I just share different treatments that I personally wanna try and speak personally to. This channel is not intended to diagnose or treat. =) xo

Hey there welcome back to my channel today we're going to be chatting about some really simple, skincare and hair tips to help get us prepared for the upcoming summer months, i'm going to be making a really easy scalp treatment and also just sharing some of the things That i'm loving right now for self-care, skincare and hair care. So this week i plan to harvest lots of goodness from my garden, which means i will be making some homemade skin care. I will be filming that and that will go up on my channel next week as a self-care video, so keep your eyes peeled. For that make sure you are subscribed to my channel also. I really love to engage on this platform. So if you get a second to leave a comment below that, helps me out a lot. Let me know your name where you're from a little bit about you that way, i can get to know you better. So let's go ahead and jump right into this video. I just love tea and i love the ritual of making tea and just the different ways to enjoy it, whether it's before bedtime or before a bath or before a pampering self-care session. So i'm definitely going to pour myself a cup of tea. I love this david's tea steeper for loose tea, but i'm also using it with these tea blooms that i find on amazon. I usually save them for special occasions or when i have friends over and we want to enjoy some tea together. These would also make a really great gift, so maybe for the tea lover in your life or for mother's day coming up, but it's just a beautiful visual experience as well, because you can watch the tea bloom. These are made with the highest quality: green tea leaves and edible flowers. So it is exquisitely scented tea. It tastes, amazing, it's, unlike any other green tea that i've ever tried. So it's a real treat when i have one of these look at how magical this tea infuser is it's clean? It'S efficient! It'S one of my favorite ways to steep hot tea. Now i'm also going to make a really simple scalp treatment using a few different oils. I'Ll put the ingredients in the description below, so you know how to make it, but i get these droppers on amazon and i'm adding castor oil almond oil, olive oil. You can use whatever carrier oil, you have on hand and then i'm going to use some essential oils. Essential oils that you'll typically find in a scalp treatment would be either tea tree oil, which is said to be great for dandruff. But a little goes a long way, so i just use one drop. If i'm going to use it rosemary oil is another great one and also mint essential oil. So just one or two drops is plenty. Usually just one drop of each scout. Massager is a great tool to have it's just a few dollars you can find them on amazon or at your local drugstore. My mom actually gave me this one and this one vibrates. It has two different settings. This is great to use with a scalp oil like the one that we just made, but it's also great to use in the shower with your products, like your shampoo, i'm still using bondi boost products, and i still really like them. Something i really like to do is put a treatment in my hair and let that sit overnight. So i am going to let the scalp oil treatment sit in my hair overnight. I'M going to wrap my hair and one of these hair wraps. I got at tj maxx and i'm gon na sleep with this on tonight, something that i have been wanting to add to my routine and try out and see. If i see any results is ice face rolling. So there are a few of these that you can get. You can get an actual roller that you put in the freezer and then there's this one, which is like an ice mold. These run between 10 and 12 dollars. You add water, you put them in the freezer and then you basically just ice your face with it and you could use ice i've. You know i've used ice over the years, but then your fingers get cold, so this just makes it a little bit more convenient to ice your face. And apparently, if you do this consistently, it's supposed to make a huge difference in your skin, not just with puffiness and swelling and redness, and some of these other things that we notice in our skin. But it's supposed to help with your pores and just general appearance of your skin. So i'm going to try this out. I'M going to be adding this to my routine, consistently leading up to the summer months, and then i will give you an update once i know if this has been an effective treatment or not i'm very excited. If any of you have tried this, let me know what you think about it in the comments below i was introduced to bondi boost last summer when they wanted to work with me on my instagram, and i don't think i ever did a youtube sponsored video, but I do have a coat i'll, try to find it. This is not sponsored by them, but i still use and love their products and their intensive spray is legit. It works so well, but you do have to use it consistently. What i love about it too, is it does not leave any residue, so your hair dries really clean with this product, but i have noticed when i use it consistently. Every day after taking a shower, it does help with hair growth and also any sort of little hair loss that i had around my crown also something that i really want to try and that i'll put in my video next week is a few different waters that You can put in the ice mold so like rose water lavender water cucumber, since i will be adding this to my routine, more consistently we're going to get creative with some ideas next week, along with some other homemade skin care from my garden, i'm gon na use Some banana bright, vitamin c serum from ola hendrickson and then i'm gon na apply my daily sunscreen and that's gon na finish up this video. You can do really simple self-care, just adding little things that work for you in your routine, for taking care of your skin, and your hair are a great way to improve your self-care routine. So i just wanted to share a few of my ideas with you today, and i hope you enjoyed this video, please be sure to subscribe to my channel if you like my videos and leave requests for videos that you want to see in the comments below and I'Ll see you very soon in the next video, i hope you have a great day bye. You

Mk: My name is May, I have three kids and I really struggle with finding time to take care of myself, dealing with stressful work life and finding balance between work and family life. I am also super depressed because of gaining too much weight… I wish I can find peace and enjoy the simplicity in life as you do. I don’t know when I will reach this point, watching you and your videos takes me to a whole new world, a world of where I used to live back home with my parents, grow our produce and just live every day at once happily and peacefully. Danson for Joy: Hi, Rachel! My name is Jesse and your channel has been one of my favorites for probably a decade. Many channels only interest me for a season, but you have grown in similar interests right along with me, and I find your proactive personality to be encouraging. I appreciate seeing you exploring and thriving with homemaking, holistic living, gardening, herbal studies, entrepreneurship and music. All of those are topics I pursue to a MUCH smaller scale (except homemaking and holistic living, which are daily pursuits), as my husband and I keep adding little ones to our family. Baby number six is due this summer! :)

Amber Kugle: I LOVE my ice roller; it’s so refreshing after a hot day outside! I didn’t notice anything drastic, but after a few weeks I did notice my makeup was going on more smoothly and I was generally less puffy. Love your content!!

Rasa Lielpētere: I'm from Latvia. In Europe. Your channel is my fav, truth be told! I've been following your channel for about 4y now. You are a very inspiring person, a beautiful woman, and a talented musician. As a musician myself, I find inspiration in your powers to join daily chores, music-making, and kid stuff (I have no kids, so it seems or me more impossible to do all the things and keep a sane mind :D) I'm very sorry for your loss but your healthy attitude and positivity you find in everything makes me work harder on myself. Also-you're a Christian!!! One more thing we have in common. I have a master's in theology. My husband now started to study theology :) The most fav of your videos for me are about daily chores, suggestions on how to make things more natural and smart, your videos about music-making and health care, and beauty advice.
