#naturalhair #aloevera #prepoo

Sup guys good morning and I'm coming to you before, I'm washing my hair to say we're doing my favorite aloe vera pre-poo. However, I'm gon na hook you all up. So I know this pre-poo is not the most time-efficient to me at minimum 45 minutes to do some days, we're better than others, but I just I didn't have the time to commit to it. So I tried a bunch of different things to figure out how I can cut down on this process, but still have the benefits of the aloe vera pre-poo. So I figured it out. I'Ve been doing it for a really long time now. Actually, I just haven't had a chance to update you guys, so I'm gon na update that today I think a lot of you guys who really love this pre-poo, but just didn't have the time to do. It are gon na love this method. So to do this, you're gon na need either a blender or a food. Processor you're gon na be blending the elevator, but I noticed that if you blend it too much, it becomes like liquid on your scalp and you don't get that really nice emulsion, like that. Foaming massaging gooey feeling that just feels so good. It makes you want to massage your hair for years. You lose all that if you blend it too much so I figured out a way to blend the Ella vera to get it on my scalp faster, but also keep that gooeyness that I really liked, and that was really the reason why I didn't want to blend It in the first place I didn't like that it was just liquid on my head and I wasn't getting that foaming and I really wanted that foaming. So I figured out a way here is the aloe vera, as you can see, we've got the gooey, oh yeah, so we're gon na quickly apply that today, I've never actually timed it, but I'm gon na time it for you guys just to see how much time We'Re actually saving on applications from doing this. So, first before we do this, let me just show you exactly what I did to get here. Things you'll need your aloe vera leaf. I buy my large ones from Whole Foods, olive oil or your favorite oil of choice. Aloe vera juice: you can use water, but I like this better vitamin E, some knee-high, pantyhose or cheesecloth to strain. I find pantyhose to be cleaner and easier and one to two applicator bottles. Ok, so cut your desired amount of fresh aloe. First things. First, remove the sharp sides and we're gon na cut these into smaller pieces. That'Ll make it easier to peel so for each piece of aloe use your knife to peel away the hard outer leaf on both sides and now chop the inner fillet into smaller pieces and place to the side. Now repeat on all your pieces of allo peeling away. The hard outer shell and cutting up the smaller fillet, placing it to the side, not a fan of wasting my aloe vera, so this is optional, but I'm just scraping each leaf carefully using my knife to make sure I get all of that inner fillet out alright. So grab a blender or a food processor. We use my last blender cup, so I'm going with the food processor this time, but just know that I usually use a blender toss, the aloe vera into the blender and I'm adding a bit of liquid to help break the pieces up. I like to use aloe vera juice as to not dilute the mixture, but you can use water if you like. It'S just important not to add too much liquid or you're gon na lose that gooey consistency of the aloe gel, whether you're using a blender or food processor, you're, going to pulse blend this mixture only so just short, bursts on and off with your machine. You don't want to pulverize the aloe into liquid form, you're, just basically using the blades of the machine to poke and cut holes into the aloe. That will then release the gel kind of like, if you were doing it with your fingers and you'll notice. The mixtures start to foam and get bubbly. That'S the gel being released all right, so I'm gon na stop. Here you can see the aloe is still chunky. You can see that some gel has been released, which means there's enough cuts and holes in the aloe that we can squeeze out the rest, placing your knee-high pantyhose over a cup. We simply pour the aloe mixture in remove the pantyhose, and now we need to do is squeeze the remainder of the gel out of the aloe and into your cup, and you can see that good gooey consistency still remains because we didn't add too much liquid and We didn't completely blend our mixture, so squeeze all the goo out and if you need to you, can gently poke up the aloe chunks through the pantyhose, using your nails to get every bit of gel out just be careful you're, not ripping the pantyhose in the process And when you're done, you'll have beautiful, gooey and strained aloe vera gel now just pour this mixture in your applicator bottle and here's a consistency shot. Now, I'm going to make the oil mixture that I apply to my scalp after the aloe vera. Just simply pour our oil of choice into an applicator bottle, I'm using olive oil and you can just use it as is or you can do what I do and also add some vitamin E, I'm shaking it up to mix the oils and voila we are done. Oh and in case you're wondering here's the leftover a loaf life as you can see, we were able to get pretty much all of the gel out. Okay. So now we have our aloe vera GU and we also have our olive oil, vitamin E mixture that having two separate containers, because we all know that oil and water do not mix. I know that I didn't use water, I used aloe juice, but I don't know if they're gon na react the same way and I want these two to separate and then risk not getting the aloe vera on my scalp, because the oil got there first. No, I'm saying I just keep it separate. Do the aloe vera first and then I follow up with the oil just like if I was just using the leaf, but yeah, if you want to save even more time, feel free to put it together. If you want to I'm just letting you know why, I don't do that, so I'm going to go ahead and put on the timer and then I'm going to apply this to my hair and we're going to see just how long this takes you guys what alright? Let'S do this hey that I think about you know you make you, it could be you I want. You know I wanna come. Let me love you. No yeah you're, the one tell me what you wan na do: yeah cuz. I do anything I just wan na. Be like ooh, how can you make me feel this way it could be Ewan. Yours come. Let me love. You know, yeah you're, the one that I want to stay. Okay, I'm pretty much done. I have a little bit of aloe vera left here. I really wanted to stay under the 12 minute mark you guys well. First of all, let me show you the time my hands are so really 12 minutes and less yeah. This is much better than 45 minutes. My hair is super juicy and moisturized. It feels great, obviously, because we're doing this quickly, we don't have those like individual twists that I would have done on my original aloe pre-poo video, but you can always go back in and put those twists in if you want to take more time. I just want to show you that it could be done if you don't have a lot of time, so you don't have to sacrifice your haircare routine, for whatever you have going on in your life. I would put this hair up in a bun or a puff for now, because I will be washing later so. The pros of this, obviously that you're gon na be able to do your aloe vera pre-poo in a short amount of time, but you're still getting the benefits of the elevator and the olive oil and the vitamin E on your scalp you're. Still getting that amazing head massage, it feels really really good. Another pro is that I know some of you guys were experiencing having like little pieces of aloe vera stuck in your hair after rubbing the leaf on it that you guys really didn't like you said it was hard to get out because we're squeezing it through our Pantyhose or cheesecloth, whatever you decide to use we're not getting any of those little chunks in our aloe vera mixture, so you don't have to worry about getting anything stuck. So that's really great one con to this. That I will say is that, because we're not taking our time to detangle and small sections and twist and all that you kind of do, have to wash your hair immediately. Whereas before you could leave those twists in for as long as you want really - and that was actually a great thing about the pre-poo - is that it not only was a pre-poo to me, but sometimes I would just leave that as a style and get the benefits Of the aloe vera, the olive oil and the vitamin E all week, so using this method you really do want to wash your hair quite quickly, just because we're not detangling - and we don't want to make this into like a tangle. So you know you could leave it a couple days, but you know you don't want to go a whole week with it. So it's not a super big deal, but I'm just trying to let y'all know. I think that's everything hope you guys enjoy this different way to apply your elevator pre-poo. I'M glad that you guys are loving. I freaking love it. It'S just made my scalp and my hair so much healthier and I didn't want to have to sacrifice it just because I didn't have the time so solutions. There are solutions to our problems. People yep you give this another try. Let me know what you thought in the comments hope that saves you guys some time. My fellow moms like got you my fellow college, kids, who ain't got the time. I got you. I think. That'S it god. I can't stop touching my hair because it just feels so smooth. I love the feeling of aloe vera goop on my hair, see it's a different feeling than the liquid. It feels like a moisturizing gel. You know alright, so i'ma go. I'M gon na make y'all sit through me pit in my head for another couple minutes. I hope you guys enjoyed this video hope that it helps, and I will see you guys in the next one. Oh

Kenisha White: Just thought people should know if you blend it too much and it become liquidy it will become slimy again once it sits for a bit.

Queen6: I love this pre-poo!!! I always have a lot left over (since I process the whole leaf). I pour it into an oiled ice cube tray and freeze it. Pop out the frozen cubes and keep them in a freezer bag or vacuum seal bag and thaw in a food bag under warm running water when i need them!! Thank you so much for sharing this easy recipe & method!! My hair loves it soooo much.

yooitsJADE: I’ve been interested in trying a pre poo recently in the name of nursing my hair back to health after treating a scalp condition so I looked up your pre poo video and thought “there has to be a “better” way at applying that aloe” and girl this was the next video I clicked! You a true Genius Whitney!! I have learned so much about natural hair in general including my own over the years from you and I feel forever grateful. Your really in a league of your own in terms of natural hair care and I’m sure every black woman in the world is thankful lmao.

BriRene Barker: I can truly and genuinely say that I love you Whitney !! You ARE GOD SENT and it was you that first encouraged my natural hair decision and BC in 2014 and you who has helped and motivated me so much throughout my natural hair journey (2014 to present) and even when I fall off (I plan to be consistent from here on out) I can always count on you and your terrific videos to bring my hair to life !! Thank you from the bottom of my heart !! God bless you my beautiful sister ❤️

Nikkia: Yes!! No more little pieces of aloe in my hair! And a short pre-poo routine!! Any "pre" thing I do takes forever so this is great :)

Lexi Lomax: wow, I have been watching you for years :) You were the first person i found on youtube when I was ready to go natural and I have been watching you ever since :) Thx Nap for your awesome well informed videos!! They are so helpful and your hair is growing back nicely!! You go girl!!

Trinii1: I tried rubbing the Aloe leaf on my scalp when you first showed us that method, but it was too much for my fine hair. Then I blended the pulp, and you're correct, the consistency was off. Thanks for letting me know I could get the gooey effect by not pulverizing the pulp to a liquid.

Ruth-Ann Butler: I’ve never thought about doing a pre-poo before, but this is something I would definitely try. Great video! It’s always a delight watching you. ❤️

filmgeek17: Whitney back at it again with the innovation. This is great for freelance creatives like me who don't have a lot of time to do my hair when things get real busy. Thank you!

marian B: Hi Nap85, I'm back to this pre-poo (I've been using it often) and I used some left over frozen aloe vera. I noticed that it was more watery...have you ever freezed your aloe vera and then used it as a pre-poo? The problem is is that whenever I try to do my hair the same day, it gets put on hold until a few days later :-(

Lorraine: When I tell you!!!! This pre poo is amazing. I was having problems with dandruff and itchiness but greasing and using extra oil or products just made it worse. I used this and my head is not itchy and the dandruff had decrease by a lot! Thank you Whit love this.

Honey Covered Roses: I love this prepoo! I add a tad bit of water to my aloe in pulsing process. I live in the desert and need all the moisture I can get. Your hair looks amazing! I’ve been a fan for the last 7 years! Thank you for all you do in the hair care community

Crystal Waithe: This prepoo is such a life saver. Used it consistently for two months and I definitely see a difference in the softness of my hair during the washing process.

MrChin786: You are the best teacher and I appreciate all of what you shared in this video!! I just got a rëzo cut, at a Curly Hair Salon, The Curl Whisper in Miami, Florida, and I needed your faithful aloe routine to get the tangles out of my hair before washing my hair, and the aloe & oil method helped so much!! Arlene

Laedi Kay: I have to say I thoroughly appreciate how you oftentimes take “your” unique method and tweek/tug/dissect in an effort to improve and make efficient an already fantabulous method, based on others and their feedback. You really care about your audience and it shows!! Thanks for having our back! #igotchu

Remyredd007: You and your hair are beautiful! So awesome to see us embracing our natural hair. I'm older and this was not always the case...Thanks for sharing!

Jennifer McLeod: I greatly enjoy your videos and they have basically coached me during my entire natural hair journey thus far <3 I love aloe vera pre-poos and do it as my detangling step before every wash! Since I detangle with this method, it takes a while, but I love the benefits and I'm afraid to stop lol. Question: Do you aloe vera pre-poo before every wash? Do you usually use this 12-minute method? And if you do use this method to apply the aloe vera, do you detangle during the shampoo step? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Ibaria Wheeler: Whitney, I didn't think it was possible you could become more DOPE than you already are!!!! Been a Subbie for years and you never disappoint! I've been Pre-Pooing every week with fresh Aloe Vera since your first video & I just dealt with the bits which become hard as nails! What a game changer you've created! Love you Queen!!!

cps525i: Great change to the process! I adopted this process myself after trying your original video and just not having the time. I love the original process, but it was so time consuming. I actually like the texture of the blended aloe on my hair much better. I know won't do my hair without pre-pooing with aloe. Love, love, love it! Thanks

Delilah Vasquez: ever since i saw YOUR videos about the aloe prepoo treatments, i've been experiencing less shedding, more moisture and crazy hair growth. you are amazing keep inspiring!

Crisdany Perez: Whitney does it again I was just thinking I want to do it but it just takes too long but this is great I love you girl what a life saver. . Side note I love how you do videos that actually help us and not just sponsored videos thank you.

lifeisablessing: My hair LOVES aloe. My hair used to feel very brittle and dry; aloe helped me correct that problem.

ANNIKA C: I love this! My wash n go came out so shiny and defined. It looks so healthy

Jamie Lee: Your hair looks fabulous and healthy! Thanks for this hair tutorial!!!!!

geegeethree: When I've tried to follow instructions from other vids, it never turns out the same way as the instructor's. But that's why I really like Naptural85's vids. They're spot on. Everything worked exactly as she said. And my curls are juicy. And I, too, wanted to pet my hair all day. I can also feel the aloe vera working on my scalp. I can't wait to see the effects over time! Thank you!!!!

Eatwith Rue: Sis I have been following you forever and I have never commented on anything but wow I just tried this. I just restarted my hair journey and my my my I am shook. My curls popped so much and then I did a twist and it’s the juiciest twist I have ever done. Thank you so much Whitney! I don’t even want to wash my hair that’s how good it feels lol

A: Whitney! I finally tried this prepoo and I loved it! My hair felt a whole lot softer than usual after being very dry. I loved how cooking it was when the AV touched my scalp. Also, were you saying you were trying to keep the AV off of your scalp? Anyways, hair day ended up not taking as long as usual! Thank you for all your tips

Andreza Santos: Adorei ótimo pré poo e óleo de aloe vera , é muito importante para nutrição do cabelo

ToriWT: Omg I just did this for the first time and I SUPER love it. It feels soooo good to massage that aloe into your scalp. I rubbed the plant straight on my scalp like your other video. My hair feels ultra moisturized. Thanks so much for this great treatment idea!! ❤️

Bernadette Carty: I first saw you doing the aloe vera treatment about 3 yrs ago.i did it then , loved what it did but never continued.i now have scalp issues and im using it regularly.it works for me with the itching.it moisturises and im seeing an overall improvement in not only my scalp but also the health of my strands.

Your#1BabyGurl_NeshaB: I have used fresh aloe vera on my braids! I did the normal cutting of the leaf into smaller pieces and just applied it onto my scalp(parts) of my hair. Then the remaining aloe vera, I did mixed it with my oil mixture for daily use! I can't wait to see how the aloe vera and oil mixture will aid into my hair growth! I love your DIY videos! #TeamNatural

68mochagirl: My sister has been natural since 2012. She recommended you to me. I'm just starting this journey. Love your videos!!!

DeLinda Williams: I love this, plus you answered all of the questions I would have asked. Thanks Whitney!

quiana: I didn’t really use this for prepoo but I used your method to use aloe Vera as a moisturizer and all I can say is thank you so much !!!! I finally found a way to use aloe Vera WITHOUT the flaking. Thank you so much for doing what you do you’re the best ❤️❤️❤️

Stephanie Saintilien: This method has been a part of my hair care routine for years and its still effective - love it

Arlene Tilson: Thank you so much. My 5 year old needs this in her life. Shes mixed and has natural tight curls and it soaks up everything. Im sooo goin to get some aloe for her hair. Your hair looks amazing.

V T: I am just really noticing her on YouTube for natural hair. I just love her tutorials!! I just tried Aloe Vera pre poo for the first time this weekend and I love the results!!

LaTonya S: I loved and tried your Aloe Vera pre-poo but I stopped doing it because I struggled with applying the aloe vera. I've been praying you would provide us with a simpler method that involved blending the aloe vera. My damaged hair needs this in its LIFE!!! I'm so EXCITED!!!!! that you have shared with us your alternative method. THANKS, Whitney you are the G.O.A.T. You deserve to have way more than 1M subscribers. My hair IDOL.

K C: So I decided to blend your original video with this one - I applied the aloe leaf directly on my scalp and applied the oils with an applicator bottle. And a suggestion for those with very tight 4c hair - if your hair is already stretched you may not want the strands to become too wet with the aloe. It can create unnecessary tangles. A little goes a long way. And because I'm still transistioning I put my hair in bantu knots instead of twists. Do you have any advice for transistioners?

TamedCurls: Can’t wait to try this just tried the aloe Vera pre poo method a couple days ago and absolutely love it. Now to find out why my hair is stiff while wearing a wash and go would be a blessing!

Mar Bar: Thank you so much for this video girl . I have done a aloe Vera treatment and made my own but your way seems to be better I’m definitely going to try it out again thank you so much and I can’t wait to try it

Happy2bNappy: So thankful for this method. I hated those tiny pieces of Aloe in my hair to the point I had abandoned the prepoo method . This is the ULTIMATE and it feels so good! Happy2BNappy ❤️‍♀️

Brittany Jackson: Hey Whitney! I absolutely LOVE your pre poo method, can't wait to try this faster version! Do you know how long the gel will keep in the fridge? I don't think I'd use a whole leaf's worth of aloe gel in one sitting

Weight Loss with PCOS: I just started using your original pre poo method and noticed the chunky pieces getting in my hair so I’m gonna try this method next time. The original is just as great since I can leave my hair in twists overnight which I will continue to do with either method. Thanks for the update!

Neosoul_prima: I feel that you should always make time for yourself, and prepooing is definitely one of my favorite parts of wash day!

Crecia'sGlam: It’s definitely a great detangler. I used 100% aloe vera gel with my fresh aloe vera leaf. I couldn’t find the juice. I also used olive oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, castor oil & vitamin e oil. Omg Feels so good. Btw, how many days can I keep this in for? And how often should I do it? Xo I love your videos girl

Ellie Adrien: I love this routine. Time saving is great.

mariposa7ful: Hey Whitney dear! We've missed you so much. Thank you for sharing this quick n easy method. It will definitely save me some time when doing this prepoo treatment. I must say that I fell in love the first time I tried it and that was sometime last month. My hair is so loving me more now. Hahaha anyway, thank you so much for this video. Much love from Saint Lucia/Taiwan.❤❤❤❤❤

Coco Glows: Tried this today! I saved so much time and energy. My scalp felt soooo good after ☺️❤️

tee96: Girl!!! You rock! I JUST bought my aloe vera leaf - today- to do your previous method and here you go with a brand new one JUST for ME!!

gigglyfitzgirl: I'm allergic to aloe vera but I still clicked on this video. #dedication

Aida F.: Your hair is GORGEOUS and so happy I found this!! I'm back in college, and I find the online classes because they take up more of my time so been looking for shorter ways to healthier hair care!! Can't wait to try this out!!

J M: Thanks for this pre-poo receipt . my hair loves aloe vera so much . I usually blend my aloe vera jelly alone with nothing added until it gets frothy with bubbles . then strain it as you showed in the video . if you blend it a bit more then its less work to get that gel out of the strainer and it still remains like jelly texture with very little crunch’s remaining plus more aloe gel comes out . after i put the gel in a bottle . i add the 2 oils of my choice, shake well, and slather it in my hair . works wonders

Clarice Warner: Thanks for once again giving us time saving tips!!!

AVAlon199115: Thanks for creating this video. I came across your videos looking for methods to moisturize my hair. I discovered aloe as a scalp treatment somewhat accidentally and have used it since to relieve my itchy scalp. This method takes it a whole new level. I like your other video with the full method. I think it is more relevant to me. But this video also teaches me that I can "pre-poo" right before a wash as well.

bunnyz34: Hey Whit, I love your videos! I've been a subscriber since 2010. Keep up the awesome work. God bless you and your family

Xiomara Ortiz: Earlier this worming I whipped up a fresh batch of this the pre poo aloe vera “gel”. I LOVE this stuff!! Thanks Whitney!

Thandokuhle nomcebo Pelako: Love the pantyhose idea, I’ve been doing the aloe pre poo for a while but I’d use a strainer and I’d have white aloe particle in my hair after washing

Kimwana World: Great video. I actually started the prepoo method when i was pregnant and i have been loving it

Aliyah Thompson: Can't wait to try this!!! Your hair looked so defined and moisturized

Randi Carter: Been looking for an easier way to apply this to my face. Love it!

Donna Franklin: WOW! I just tried this pre-poo this morning after taking my hair out of crotchet braids ( which really grew my hair), and boy I cant wait to wash it tonight ( after having it cling film wrapped all day! Im a total convert! SHE TALKS PROPER SENSE. thanks Whitney!! ;0)

Amina A: Tip: if you want to get rid of the taste of the aloe, soak the pieces in water for an hour so the sap that makes the taste is drained from the leaves, don’t worry it won’t get rid of the benefits of the aloe, this might not be necessary for the hair, but if you’re putting in on your face or lips u might want to try this

Autumn_breeze: Your hair is sooo beautiful and your concoction are my favorites. I've tried your flaxseed gel recipe and loved it and your shea butter whip. Now I will be trying this one!

BeBe ChocolateinBarcelona - A Natural Diva: you are proof that "our" hair CAN grow fast! My hair dressers and I thought that mine grows fast, man! I was mad at you for your cut, but it is back so quickly! I had to cut mine in Oct 17 bc of a hair dresser applying too much heat since I stopped relaxing. I am trying to follow in your footsteps bc I dislike short hair!!! Thank you so much for all your efforts.

Deirdre Gaskin: Hi Whitney. Wow! You are quite adept at cutting up that Aloe stem. I will be doing the aloe overnight prepoo since I have the time. Actually, I'll do it tonight and I was planning to follow YOUR instructions. Only thing is I've bought the gel due to arthritis in my hands. Hopefully, it is nearly as good as using the plant. You've answered my question of when I want to use the gel and when I want to use the juice as this recipe uses both. Would it be logical to assume that the aloe powder would be appropriate when the diy recipe uses mostly powders, i.e, Fenugreek, Amla, etc?

marian B: Thank you Whitney for this wonderful tutorial. I really appreciate it. I used Discovering Natural's concoction of this DIY, mixed the oils + water together, which probably spoiled it quicker...Also, I left it outside the fridge for 1-2 days. It turned PINK! But it felt great in my hair. I just added too much water, so it was a bit runny...Next time, I will keep the oils separated. I notice that you don't add ANY water besides the AVJ. PEACE!

Doris DblDee: OMG!!! Girl.... I tried this aloe vera gel on my hair yesterday..... WOW! My hair is super soft and moisturized. This is officially part of my regime. Next time I plan to sleep with it on my hair. ~ Thanks for sharing.

Lilly Clement: I love using the Aloe Vera plant directly on my hair and mixing it with water. So many ways to grow longer and healthy hair I am loving it. Thanks blessing

Essence Cooper: Your hair was loving it ! Immediately came to life after application!

dadaday98: SWEET!! I'm actually sitting with my blended aloe treatment in my hair now. I applied my oil after each aloe coat. Since i discovered the pulse method after I did mine, i will incorporate it next time. Thanks chica!

kitkatgoode: @naptural85 I love this. I also make a blend with olive oil and honey plus a good conditioner and use it as my deep conditioner. I however scrape the aloe to release the gel, the same way you scraped the leaf with the knife. That way you get all the gel and no chunks wasted. I really hope you try it that way and let me know how it was please. Love your videos nuff love from Jamaica

April Jordan: Hi, last week I experienced pre poo with the aloe vera leaf. It's and amazing regimen or remedies. My scalp feels amazingly fresher than before....Thanks for the healthy guidelines.

RED LILY: U just gave me the motivation I need to get at my hair after being sick with the flu going on 3 weeks...I'm headin' to Whole foods to get my Aloe...I think this is what my hair needs after this long neglect...I hope it 4gives me!

K. Duffey: You rock! I hope you know this.... My friend and I were discussing how we had ventured away from your "teachings" and had to come back to what has worked for our hair. You are the Natural Hair Gawd. Peace & Blessings my dear.

Donisha E.: Can’t wait to try this. I love doing a diy pre-poo on my hair.

Lessonsonfaith: I am so thankful i found your videos after many, many years. I have very thick and long hair. I did two cuts this month and left just enough to make a ponytail. I'm sure i will need another cut in a month while on this natural hair journey. Your videos are the best. Please keep making new videos. They are a blessing to myself and to so many others.

Lorna J.Burns- Bridges: Girl what would I do without you I’m so glad that my husband found you for me 10 years ago thank you for a healthy head

Quinette Sanders: Omg! Why didn’t I think of this!!??? I loved this pre poo but stopped doing it because it took too long. I’m starting back ASAP!! Thanks Whitney!!!

Jacqueline Harris: So I tried this and it worked! But I have a question: how long do you leave it on your hair when you do do the twisties before it starts to smell? Or does the oil that you add to your hair keep it from smelling?

Ladi Dodi: I just did this pre poo and it felt soooooooooooooooo good on my scalp. The only difference was that I I blended it all done. I didnt want to waste any of that golden aloe

vkcsweetie14: THANK YOU!!! I loved how the gel felt in my hair but those chunks were no bueno, especially now that I'm back to washing in twists. With this tip, it would be easier to put it on my skin too. I'm definitely going to try it.

NaturallyTiTi: It's so funny you coming out with an update on your pre poo, when I just did the pre poo this morning. My hair is soft, I watched tv while pre poo-ing my hair. Glad to see your still using the aloe vera pre poo. I've been using aloe vera on my face (clearing up a few pimples) I needed to work on my hair.

Cruzin330 Fraz56: I Love Whit she is the “BOMB OF ALL TIME”. She gets to the point and explains everything. Plus her own hair speaks volumes on the natural hair subject.

MANDIE EXPRESS: Adding the aloe to my pre-poo has been life changing for my hair so thank you so very much and I will definitely give this faster way a try TFS

Blank: Hey Whitney! Have you ever thought to use the aloe Vera gel as a gel/hold for a wash n go? Also it would be cool to see you do a “I tried following a Jackie aina wash day tutorial” she uploaded one a few months ago

StephGrace: OMG!!! This vid is amazing! I was definitely going to quit pre-pooing (I know I know lol) but this video will help me cut back on time!!! And I can prepare a whole aloe leaf and store it for my next time!!!

Swt Suga: Hey girl!!! I've watched several of your videos and I love them. And some your methods have worked for me. I haven't tried real aloe vera leaf yet but imma have to try it. But I do use a aloe vera spritz. Your hair looks awesome as always. What is your hair type? Oh btw..new subbie

ACIN05: Makes me want to do my hair right now! Thanks for sharing!

i3abikay: My mom does this but it's great that you're sharing for others that don't know it can be this way too.

Ms Ubiquitous: I just made the gel, I couldn’t understand why not make it a liquid as it is faster (I did it this way). Another benefit to the gel is it doesn’t run everywhere and stays at the scalp and in your hair and doesn’t drip everywhere. It also makes detangling easier as a gel.

Donna Deniese: Fantastic! Thank you for giving us this update!

Ivy X: When I first saw your 1st pre poo I was like “there has got to be a faster way to do that” lol my mom has a hand blender and I started you that to get the gel out and put it in an applicator bottle my scalp has been problem free for over 6 months now and it’s the only things that has worked
