Elite Hair Care USA

Hey guys crystal here from elite haircare, usa, so today we're working with my client who came in um, basically for a silk press and after observing or doing an observation of her hair, we noticed that it was really really dehydrated. So in this video i'm going to show you guys how we can do a quick hydration treatment to help aid the hair when it's on its driest moments. So we start off, of course, by doing the shampoo now with any shampoo, you always want to make sure that you cleanse the hair first and then you treat the hair after so for our starting shampoo, i'm going to be using our elite herbal detox shampoo. This is serving as our clarifying or cleansing shampoo, but it does not strip the hair of all of its natural oils, but it does get the hair, nice and clean and get the scalp nice and clean and ready for our treatment. Shampoo. Now, of course, if you're taking out braids or anything of that nature, the herbal detox shampoo is going to be your best friend, because it's also going to help you remove those smells. You also want to make sure that you're using warm water when you are shampooing your hair, while i know cool and cold water, feels great warm water is what is going to help remove any type of dirt debris that kind of thing from the hair. Before you start your treatment, shampoo and you can always do a second clarifying or cleansing shampoo if needed. Now, in her case, i am not going to do a second clarifying shampoo, i'm going to be using our elite silky conditioning shampoo. The reason why i chose silky for her is because she does have somewhat fine textured hair, and i don't i didn't excuse me. I didn't want her hair to be weighed down any more than it already is. So that's another reason why we used our elite silky. It can be used on natural or relaxed hair. It just depends on the hair texture that will determine if you are suitable for this shampoo or if you needed one with more moisture. Now, of course, when we are rinsing out our shampoo, as i said before, we will be using warm water and then we're going to prepare her for her hydration treatment once you've thoroughly rinsed out your shampoo. We are going to go ahead and go in with our conditioner in this case we're going to be using the silky conditioner, which any of our conditioners conditioners can be used as a deep treatment. So i'm using it with our new handheld hydration machine, where i put the conditioner on and then i allowed the machine to basically spray warm water, which is like a mist or steam to help open up that cuticle and really intake all of the goodness from the Conditioner, this is a faster way to do it, rather than using my large hydration machine that takes up space, so my handheld hydration gun is the best. When i tell you the best, i love the way it makes the hair feel and it makes the detangling process. So much easier and i'm able to take it and plug it away or put it away in any cabinet where i don't even have to worry about it anymore versus my large hydration machine that i have to keep in my space all the time. So if you guys can tell, i only did a couple minutes with the hydration machine, and then i went through with my large tooth or wide tooth comb and if you guys can tell it was really easy to comb through. That is the great thing about our new hydration machine and then i'm using cool or cold water to close the cuticle after using the hydration. The reason why we're using the cold water is because we want to lock in that shine, we want to close the cuticle immediately so that her hair will retain all of that. Goodness that we just put in i finished off by spraying some of our elite silky leave-in conditioning spray, that is a leave-in conditioner, and then we rope twisted her hair for her to go under the dryer to be able to air dry for at least 30 minutes. I do not blow dry hair when it's in its wet state, because it is the most um it's the easiest to damage, especially when the hair is wet. It'S also at that point you're using things like a blow dryer with a comb or that kind of thing and you're, just basically almost attempting to break the bond without even trying so once she's dry. I did go through and blow dry her a little bit more and then i went and put a little bit of our elite, frizz tamer and shine serum on her hair, which is going to serve as her heat protectant. And then we went through and did the silk out process for us to get her nice and silky to give her a good trim so i'll, let you guys watch this process and then, when we get to the trim, we'll definitely talk about that. So once you have completed your silk out, that is when we are going to go towards the trim. The trim is very important guys if you are not getting your trims every quarter, if you have natural hair or with every relaxer, if you have relaxed hair, you are not doing your hair any justice by holding on to that dead weight holding on to those dead Ends because it will just split more up the shaft and you'll notice that your hair is just not growing. It'S not doing anything it's in a stagnated state, so your trim is extremely important. Now for a trim. Of course, a trim is a trim. A cut is a cut if you guys notice. I am doing exactly what i call light dusting of the ends, i'm not doing a style cut, i'm just going through and cleaning up her ends and evening out whatever needs to be evened out. But of course, some clients have a little bit of breakage. Some clients have different situations, so every trim is going to be slightly different. Some people, you are trimming for health, others. You are trimming for style, so keep in mind whenever you're getting a trim. You definitely need to know the difference between the two now, with her trim after we've complete the trim, we're going to go ahead and style her and keep in mind and, as a pro tip, remember, whenever you're doing a trim, you always want to trim the hair In the shape of the head and you're going to basically trim it as if it was an orange peel that you were peeling an orange and then, of course, i'm going to hit those edges with my flat iron just to kind of soak them out, so that She doesn't look like she has beady beads now, once we have completed the trim as well, we'll just go through and do the style um first thing before you guys see the style. Tell me what you think and also tell me how often you get trims in your hair, because i know a lot of you are not trimming on schedule. So please tell me the reason why you're not trimming and also telling me what your trim schedule is and i'll see you guys in the next video you

Glistening Beauty: I love getting my hair trimmed ‍♀️regularly about every 8 weeks. A good trim makes my hair move so beautifully and I always get compliments on how healthy my hair looks. Some have even thought I had on a wig (I took that as a compliment)☺️

Marley Hill: I have natural hair. I was on a 16 week trim schedule from November 2019 to August 2020. I had to trim my own hair twice during lockdown. I'm tempted to go back to a 6 week curly trim and then a 12 week straight trim because my hair is ultra-fine, I take medications and my hair prone to breakage. Whenever I need a trim my hair tangles really badly. Oh and Yass you slayed her hair.

Daniela Pearson: Shampoos are the absolute best part of being at the salon.

Just JanelleR: I haven't trimmed my hair in over five years. I took sick in 2015 and in 2017 the meds and stress made my hair fall out from the middle of my head to the nape. It was devastating . I almost gave up but my hair has grown back since it's just difficult with my limited mobility to make it to a salon for hair maintenance so it's suffering in that department. Where I'm located in Canada there's barely a handful of people who know what to do with hair or how to do hair and they're black stylists and salons.

Bianca B: I trim my hair every 8-12 weeks. I care for my natural hair myself so when I do a silk press I trim my ends. I tend to have a lot of single strain knots so I probably end to trim every 6-8 weeks instead.

Thoughts 99: I’m desperately in need of a professional trim; been trying to trim my own hair during these C-19 days but I’m scared of doing real cuts. I tried watching videos about how to trim your own hair at home, it’s really trial and error.

lerinnenatalia: When Its protective style season, I don't trim. Theres not really a need if I'm doing braids for awhile. But once I'm ready to take it down and let my hair breath, I get a good trim. I find the less I bother/style my hair, the less trimming I have to do. Ever since Corona I dont really go anywhere for obvious reasons, so I've been in protective styles the whole time. My density is ridiculous and my ends have never looked more thick and curly and healthy and juicy!

Kim tyla Tyla: Great amazing job in caring for our hair. Alot of us ladies need to know how to take better care of our hair. Thank u so much for showing us hair care

Nubian Empress: Hey sis! Wow, you really revived her hair. It looks so much healthier now.

Angel Hill: My last trim was in March and I wanted to get another one few weeks ago but my cousin said my ends were still even so we decided not to but I did end up twisting and dusting the ends of each twist because of single strand knots.

Irene Rodrigues: Lindo demais parabéns ❤️

Trisha: Now THATS a transformation! Great job!

toye2u: Beautiful job! I wish I was close, I'd be at your salon. I need a trim. Last June I got my hair cut really short because it was thinning due to medications. I decided no more relaxers too, I had maybe an inch and a half of hair . Because of Covid and having a compromised immune system, I barely got out. I need to go because my hair is shedding (not a lot), I'm afraid to go...the lady who cut my hair, her shop is really clean and you could see your face in her shiny wood floors

Mary Eliz: You did that!!! Beautiful end result!

Donna Medica: Looks gorgeous !❤️

Sheree Gaskins: I don't trim, bc I have locs, but when I was relaxed it would be every 6-8 week when I did another relaxer. Also, I never really trimmed my natural hair bc I was scared to and by the time I got a better understanding of it all, I had already gone straight from relaxed to locd

Alyssa Moon: I like how you cover every detail...what type of water to use...warm water, etc., thank you so much I just became a subscriber! Happy Holidays and much love in 2021!

Rose. H: I do trim my own, but need to have it 'evened' out. I do a good job trimming my own (I am a hairstylist) however, I would love to find a hairstylist where I live. I have gone to a few and either they don't listen to their client (me) or I come out with a style that I didn't ask for. I do enjoy watching your videos and really love your work. I may have to make an appointment with you now that my mom is in Florida :-) when I'm in town for a visit. The clients that I do have, I do ensure that their hair is trimmed on schedule (mainly natural clients) and that they are taught how to care for their hair in-between visits.

Kushie54321: Could you please let me know what the name of the hand held hydration machine ? I looked in the description box, but it looked like only the hooded one is listed.

coosette M: Thanks Crystal for sharing. Never stop being a phenomenal woman

FeeFee S: This is how I wanted my hair recently. but the stylist said I needed a hydration method done to my hair so it would have turned out right. im like i could have saved my money 70.00 for this plus 15.00 for a trim. I asked for a silk press and she told me i didnt need a silk press done. Bc i don't have coarse hair she said but still charged me for a silk press. yeesh. What you did in the video is what my old stylist used to do. But anyways after she was done with my hair. I went outside and it went back frizzy and natural i was like omg!!!!! I have had my hair done before and I never experienced that. But i never had a silk press before either. It was going to be my first time.

Jackie Walker: I color my hair every 6 weeks, that's when I trim my hair.

NaturallyNeka: I have natural hair and I find my hair needs a trim every 2-3 months so I just do it then. I wold love to stretch it to 4 months but then my hair ends start to act up.

Always A Lady: Beautiful! The shrinkage is real!!

Jackie Randolph: Hello Crystal I'm still learning about different hair texture I had braids long time now my is thin when it was thick what shampoo and conditioner use?

lillian heron: What a fantastic job you have done to this ladies hair, the shine is unbelievable. Wish my hair shines like the lovely ladies. GREAT JOB STAY SAFE, FROM GREAT BRITAIN.

Brenda Graham: Here in central Georgia it’s hard to find someone to care for natural hair. Weave and wigs are the rave. I’ve been natural since 2018 and I trimmed my ends once myself. I need help ‍♀️

Kenny Stuart: What is a good shampoo and conditioner for over processed hair that is breaking off?

breeannasparks17: Every 3/4 months or at least 2/3 times a year just depends because I wear protective styles

mary king: Girl that machine is on point.♥️♥️

Judy Walker: Hi Crystal, is that portable hydration machine mainly for low porosity hair? I have high porosity and the cuticles are already opened.

Danielle: I get a trim twice a year. I stopped getting them quarterly because I found that there wasn’t a lot of new growth or breakage. Therefore I felt as though I was trimming the small portion of growth I had .

Emeth: I thank the creator that I know how to trim my hair since the natural hair shops are not open here.

Marcia Scott: I'm relaxed I have short hair I trim mines every 6 to 8 weeks .

Joyce 31202: My trim schedule is after shampooing as a way to shape my hair up. My barber does a sponge style on my hair.

Rhonda Burden: I dnt get trimmed regularly because I dnt have a steady hairdresser @ this time. Can u do a basic @ home trim video to maintain hair while dealing wit covid?? If that's possible. Please and thank you in advance

V Jones: How healthy does that look now?❤

mary king: Looks Beautiful.♥️

Trina Morales: Hi it's been a huge minute since my last trim...its been since april 2019 since last flat iron and trim...I've dusted where ive seen havoc but no prof.trim because i know no one to drop it 4 me..I've been on a hair growth journey since April 18..been natural about 13 years..i have now waist length hair D using all ayurveda ingredients andproducts...i wanna trim bad...I'm in dry a** Las Vegas..with extremely hard water and that itself was why i gave up on relaxers...hard water and relaxers really just don't mix....wink

Karen F.: I am natural as well as my daughters. I am searching for a stylist in NYC who I will grow a professional relationship that is educated as you are in health of the hair . You have opened my eyes to go get my hair trimmed so it can grow more .

Pamela Walker: Her hair is beautiful.

Hilary: I need to get my hair trimmed but I cannot find a stylist a trust around me. Last person I went to did me wrong. Love this video and wish you were near me. Thank you

Breuna Wright: Are your products good for kids hair as well?

Ronni j: Looks much healthier nice work !!!..i like the Client face shield lol
