Hey guys crystal here from elite haircare usa. So we have my client here, turn you guys to say: hey kinda um, my client here, i'm gon na show you guys her hair. She has beautiful hair by the way um. She came in for a silk press and a trim uh. We talked a little bit about her hair clearly from how it feels - and i can tell from the frizzing possibly that she is low, porosity um. She did state that her hair does get dry really really quickly and then on her ends. If you notice it's a little bit straighter than her actual natural curl pattern, and that is because she had a keratin treatment where she used to get keratin treatments, and i'm assuming that you grew it out. Is that what you did? Okay and she grew out the keratin treatment, so we're going to trim her today. It might not be everything, but we are going to get her in the right direction as it grows out, and i mean honestly, she has a great head of hair. So really really really nice all right. So i'm going to get her um prepared and get the camera prepared for our um shampoo and then we'll talk a little bit about what we're going to do. Okay, my mom, have you set up for me? No, no! There. We go and then you'll come on back. What kind of product do you have on your hair? It'S just a regular conditioner, conditioner, okay, okay, so i'm gon na move the camera up, so you guys will be able to see what we are doing there. We go. Let'S do that perfect all right, so we're going to start the process by using a little bit of warm water to remove any product that she has in her hair currently and then from there we'll go ahead and do the shampoo and conditioning process i'm going to Do a hydration treatment on her using our new hydration machine, and then we will get her prepared to dry so that we can press her out. Thank you even though i'm missing a nail, but thank you all right. So our water here is nice and well getting warm there. We go so, of course, with any shampoo process. You always want to start by rinsing out any product that you have in your hair. This is going to make the shampoo process a lot faster and you will use less products. It'S always best to try to rinse out any gels or holding sprays. All you're using is the water to do this. Okay, are you comfortable like slide down a little bit? Okay, there you go. Let me know if the water's too warm okay, so she did have conditioner in her hair. So that's what i'm rinsing out bye all right, so she has just a little bit of buildup or congestion on her scalp. So i'm going to use a little bit of the minty shampoo. This will also serve as our clarifier for her hair. Today, um on the normal, you can use the herbal detox shampoo as a clarifying shampoo. But if you have a situation where you just have a little bit of congestion on the scalp or any type of build up, you can always start with the minty shampoo as well, and then what i like to do is just split the hair apart just to Make sure that i'm getting into the invisible area, which is right above the occipital bone, which is that ridge on the back of the head, you always want to make sure that you kind of split that area. So you can get in there and really clean, because the dirt will settle right under the occipital bone. So, okay, so typically we use our moisture elt as her shampoo and conditioner, but today i'm going to use the hydra strength, shampoo and conditioner on her hair. It'S slightly lighter, but it still has a great moisture content and it's not going to weigh her hair down because she already had conditioner in it. If i go and add a product that is even has even more conditioning agents, this is going to make the hair very heavy, and it's going to make her silk press, not light and airy like it should be. So i use the hydra strength instead, which is one step down in regards to the humectants, and this will also still do the same. It will condition the hair it's still going to make the hair feel nice and soft and leave it nice and shiny as well. All right and we're still using warm water to rinse her out using warm water and the shampoo process is okay and then, of course, when you get to the conditional practice, unless you're doing some type of um treatment, then you want to use cool water foreign. So so so too hot when you open it, so i'm only gon na do two shampoos on her okay and then we are going to do a hydration treatment, all right so cook this a little bit for me all right. So for the hydration treatment, we're going to be using the hydra strength, conditioner, okay, so we'll apply that to her hair all right. So i'm going to have you set up for me, i'm going to bring you guys over, so you can sit up too cool and then we're going to bring out our handy dandy, hydration machine. Here i'm going to put your seat up for you and then we'll come back, so we're going to be using this machine. Okay and like you guys noticed when i was doing the hydration, all i was doing, was lifting her hair up and allowing the seam to get into her hair. I did not detangle her first, i like to save it until the end, because at the end it is so easy to detangle. You don't have a hard time, detangling your hair right, um. Well as long as i detangle after every wash okay, then i'm usually fine. So like today, when i didn't detangle you at all, does this seem easy or is this normal? Oh, this is very easy all right, so i'm going to fill my container here once more come on back hi all right, so we're going to use cool water now and the cool water is going to be used to close the cuticles and then, of course you Want to make sure that you rinse out all your conditioners, we're gon na squeeze out the excess, moisture or water and then we'll towel dry. Her slightly sit up for me all the way and then we're going to spray a little bit of our silky leave-in spray, and then we will rope twist her so that she can go and air dry for a few minutes. So when i say road twist, that means we're just going to divide the hair into smaller sections. So so i'm going to put it under the dryer and then we'll talk a little bit about the hydration all right. Let'S see if i missed any of your comments. I'Ve been doing here for over a year and just opened my very own salon and your advice and education has helped a lot. Thank you. Thank you. Chante new subbie. Here i love your channel. We purchased your products from myself and daughter wish you were in maryland. Thank you all right, so the machine that i was just using is our new hydration machine um. This is really this compared to this way faster. I am like five and a half seconds from getting that machine out of here so that i have more space um and then this i just plug in and use and then, when i'm done, i wipe it off plug it out or plug it out, wipe it Off and go back to what i was doing for some strange reason, i couldn't get my little container off, but this container you fill with purified water or distilled water um, and then this is what you will use when you are doing your hydration treatment. This right here is like the easiest thing ever, so what i do for me to time how long my treatment is going to be, depending on my client's, hair i'll fill it a third of the way, sometimes two-thirds of the way or halfway, and once that water Is finished, then, i know that i've done my treatment and i'm done the good thing about it. Is it also helps me to detangle the hair a lot faster than i normally would and then for the shampoo or the conditioner that you use. That also is going to be dependent on how well the hair does. When it comes on to the hydration treatment. I do not recommend doing hydration treatments with strengthening shampoos like the hair repair growth conditioner, i said shampoo, i meant conditioner, the hair repair and growth. Conditioner is something that i would use under a slit under dryer with a processing cap and then, if you are trying to get moisture, that is when you can use any one of our moisturizing conditioners, whether it be moisture, elt, silky or hydra strength. Those are the only three currently that we have in the line that i would suggest to do a hydration treatment with. I don't really suggest you doing it when you're using our hair repair and growth, and i would never suggest that you do it when you are using our protein treatment. So that's something that's very important. Once you're done with your hydration machine, you want to make sure that you wrap the cord nicely. You make sure everything is dry because bacteria can grow in this container. Here it is water guys, so you do want to at least make sure that you don't have any excess water left behind, and then you put it back in the box and put it away until the next time that you're ready to use it. That'S really it if you have the traditional hydration machine, which is this baby here, you know that you have to either have it on a table. You have to make sure that it's um you plug it in before, to heat it up. So that was another reason. Why i was looking for another alternative to be able to do a quick, hydration treatment, effective fast without having so much um extra baggage in the room? If you guys can't tell my room is very small and i can't really have too many items in this room or nothing will fit. So i am going to tuck this baby here. Well, i'm going to use it with my next client anyway. So i'll just leave it up here, but really really easy to use. If you guys got to see it when i did the hydration treatment just now with my client, it makes life so easy. You guys like so easy. I can't really explain how easy it made. My life and then, of course, at the end of any wash day, please ensure that you are using a leave-in conditioner, whether it be mine or someone else's. It does not matter. It'S just always best that you do use a leave-in conditioner. I hate masks on my face and then this mask is thick. It'S activated anyhow, let's see if you guys have any questions in regards to the hydration treatment. If you do, you can type it in the chat and i'll answer your questions. Um, if you don't in the meantime, don't forget that we are doing the pre-sale of the hydration machines, which is the one that you just saw me with, and you'll save 20 off. Your purchase um, if you use code, steamer20, steamer20 so steamer and the number two zero and then, of course, our elite total body care website has launched. We are doing our pre-sale of all of our feminine hygiene, health and wellness products, and you get 20 off your purchase up until this monday. That code is easy. Edward t is in tom b is in boyce and charlie and the number two zero. So those are the different things that we're doing this weekend. Um. We have so many different things like news things, new things that are rolling out, so i'm really really really excited um. I don't really know how to express my excitement right now. I kind of feel like i'm just ready to go home, that's excitement for me, then i can't wait to wash this thing out. I don't know how people wear this thing for long. It'S just like crazy look at that. I mean i only got about so much hair, so it's already lifting up. I'M sorry, though um i do have two new videos to upload today, so i'm hoping that i try to get them on by this weekend. So you guys have videos to watch um outside of that, there's really nothing else going on. I'M just hither hi! My last appointment comes at four o'clock, all right, so let's go over here and get you guys set up for a silk press um all right. So we're going to use our baby lip, that's a baby um, so come on all right, so we're going to go ahead and blow dry, her we'll start with the tension method and then we'll finish off with our brush. When you have a long hair like hers, the tend to make it work: oh, okay, okay, all right, no problem, you so tip all right! So we're nice and dry. I'M gon na put a little bit of first timer and shine serum on her hair. Now, even with her having such long dense hair, i'm only using that much hi, oh god, oh nice, sonia sonia, you got to see me tilt down for me actually once i let me turn this in all right, so we're going to go ahead and start with The silk out process: i'm going to use my baby this prima today is there a coupon code for the haircare site. Please, and thank you if you are a first time, client or customer, you are able to use code youtube. So i'm going to use this big boy today: do you want a string? You want a loose curl um, which style black and i'm. I want to wrap my hair. Now i say the loose tail: okay, so we're going to do a loose curl, but then we're going to still trim here. I'M a licensed cosmetology looking to expand my business to the south florida area, any tips or pointers when you say expand your business. What do you mean like moving to south florida? Is that what you mean - or i don't understand, be a little bit more specific, so i'm doing a silk press, but instead of me doing i'm using a lot of heat on her hair, i'm going to press her and curl her at the same time and then Trim her at the end, because she's going to be wrapping her hair at night, so this is going to give her longevity with her curl and her body and make it even easier for her. Now, when you do it this way, you do have to do it. A little bit slower than normal, and it does need to be done with an iron that glides really really well what flat iron and size would you recommend for short, relaxed, hair um? You can do the half inch to the system. You can do the half inch um. You can do the three tenths of an inch. I use h2 pro um fhi. Has a nice half inch as well? I travel and do looking to build my brand and stuff. Oh okay! So if you're, trying to build your brand in south florida and you're gon na have to travel there more frequently say once a month once every six weeks, but you're not going to be able to expand your brand without people. Seeing you and you being in front of them, so if you're going based on you being a hair stylist, then you'd have to be there at least once every month to six weeks and start servicing clients and also start promoting yourself via ig using those hashtags. For that area, that's how you get into that market, so welcome. Is there a reason why i'm not blow drying hair from roots with round brush, because you don't have to do that with every client. Some people like using the round brush, but the round brush, can also easily break the bond in the hair and allow that curl pattern to go very very loose and it doesn't come back when it does that. Thank you so much so. Thank you. You'Re amazing stylist. Okay, great job, thank you, so i didn't put anything else on her hair other than the frizz tamer and shine serum. If you guys can't see how shiny her hair is, you need to turn your lights off and turn the flash on. You guys see that shine. The handheld hydration machine, it's called the elite handheld hair steamer. If you go to elitehaircareusa.com, that's where you'll see it and then, if you use code, steamer 20 you'll save 20 off your purchase this weekend. Only the other reason why i went from natural for 10 years to relax my hair. Oh man, thank you so, for today, i'll go back through what we did today when she came in um. We started off by using the minty shampoo and conditioner no minty shampoo, conditioner, i'm so used to seeing that minty shampoo and then we use the hydra strength shampoo after that. Okay, once we did her shampoo service, we put on the hydra strength conditioner, and we used our hair steamer, which is our handheld hair steamer. Once we put the hair steamer on and that was completed, i detangled her, which i didn't really have to do. A lot of combing to detangle her, which was great, and then we rinsed her with cool water and allowed her to air dry under the dryer. For about 15 minutes just to get the excess water out of her hair and to make the blow dry process a little bit easier for me and her, and now we're just going through now we're just going through and giving her some loose curls. She wants to wrap her hair and wants to be able to um make it last a little bit longer. So it's always good to start out with the loose curls. It will last a lot longer that way. Let me put my charger on here: there we go so now we're doing her loose curls and then we will trim her when we're done. We ship to the uk. Yes, so if you guys notice, i didn't get the hair curler down or the flat iron down until the last piece of hair fell out. That is how you keep your curls, nice and tight, and they don't look nice and frizzy on the ends. You got. Ta, keep it going all the way through until the last piece of hair falls out. I want to listen to your video, and this is my natural hair. Okay, clouds. If the youtube code isn't working, if you use it once before, it's not gon na. Let you use it again, so if it's your first time, then it should work if you've used it once before it won't. Let you use it again, how can i prevent heat damage is called treated natural porosity, hair use a heat protectant. I see a lot of people using flat irons to do curls what happened to roller. Setting. Nothing happened to roller setting. Some people prefer it some people, don't some people don't want to be in the salon for four hours with a roller set. Some people do, but if you can achieve the same thing in less time, why not i've done, though i did roller sets for so long. I can do a roller set in my sleep, any tips on keeping your ends healthy other than a trim, a trim. That'S the easiest way. The trim is what keeps your ends healthy cloud. You said it was your first time so i'll check it out and see if there's anything, that's wrong with it on my end, but make sure you're spelling the word youtube all as one word. So so we're almost done so folks, all right. Let'S hit these hair lines, we're gon na get her hairline okay cloud, i'm not going to be able to fix it if i'm actually doing a live stream. I have to give me a moment. Babe try again this afternoon or this evening, and it should work for you all right, so i'm going to go ahead and give her a trim. Let'S find the perfect combinations trim, which is one of my two coins this baby here. Can you shake your hair? For me, thank you all right, so we're gon na go ahead and give her a trim put it down. If you're not comfortable, trimming hair. When it's in this state, then you can soak your client out first and then go back and determine, but you got to be able to see your guide. If you can't see your guide, then don't do it this way, um all right. So i'm going to start her with a little bit of goddess polish. Take our brush uh all right! So i'm going to take my diffuser and my blue guy here then i'm going to turn it down. You know it depends on what you want your outcome to be all right, where's, my comb, i think i lose this go: okay, okay, back home, so uh, nice and bouncy. Now we'll put a little bit of spray just to hold down these beautiful baby hairs that everybody would like here, that's a good baby. You have the baby and the people around here for these weeks. All right look at that! Then you can wrap it and it will just go over time. So you'll still have somebody and not just go blah cool very nice. Are you going to wear it out or do you want me to put it in a bun um? Are you going somewhere you're going home, i'm going home, okay i'll put it in a bun for you and then, when you get home, you put your scarf on all right. So i'm going to show you guys how to preserve your curls using a very, very simple technique: okay, so you're going to need two to three bobby pins, your brush or your wide comb, and you are going to brush the hair back into one somewhat ponytail. Okay, when you do so you're gon na make sure that all the hair is in the same direction. Okay, you see how it gave me that nice ring and you're going to form a nice pin curl. Okay, once you form your pin curl, you pin it just like that, once you pin it once you push it in you're gon na pin right here in the top okay - and you can take your second pin, pin down one more when she gets home, she can Either, leave it in this in this bun and put her scarf on or she can take it out and wrap it. This is going to preserve the curls and give her more body and keep the body in her hair, but because she's natural, you still got to make sure you try to tighten your scarf nice and slow okay, you still want to make sure that you put a Scarf on and not go to bed with a bonnet, no buttocks, okay and then, when she's leaving, she looks like she just got a nice little shin young kind of thing going on. No one knows that we're doing this with a purpose and she's good to go. So now she can preserve her curls and still go to the grocery store and look like she got a whole hairstyle going on and nobody knows all right. You guys! Thank you guys so much for watching today's live, don't forget! The hair steamers are available. I didn't eat haircareusa.com and use code, steamer 20 to save 20 um dollars off the pre-sale of our hair steamers and then, if you're, not following me on instagram, please do so by going to elite haircare, usa on ig and i'll see you guys later
