My opinions & thoughts on anything I feature in my videos are always my own.

Hey what up it is your girl, MD and welcome back to my channel today. We'Re gon na be talking about coffee, caffeine and its benefits, your hair follicles, and how it can help increase your hair growth among a ton of other benefits, quick announcement October 11th, I'm hosting a meet and greet via video chat. There are limited tickets available. I will leave all the information in the description box. It'S going to be a pretty intimate group, so there'll be plenty of time for you guys to get on camera. Talk to me, one-on-one ask questions. Share laugh share some stories, it's kind of like a huge video virtual chat like we'll all be on video. We won't be able to pop in and pop out and talk to me and yeah. I'M really excited to do something different and hopefully you guys will come and join me on the 11th. So today I'm going to be showing you guys how to make a coffee based hair growth, oil there's a ton of different ways that you can use coffee in your routine, and this is just one of them so you're going to need coffee with caffeine. I don't drink coffee, so I literally went and got the cheapest one. I can find I'm going to be putting 5 tablespoons of coffee into this pot. You can also use whole coffee beans, which would kind of probably make the third step of this a lot easier. You'Ll see in a second the darker, the roast, the more benefits that you are going to get from it. Now I'm going to be taking olive oil or you can always use coconut oil or whatever your favorite oil is just use that going to be taking 10 tablespoons of my oil and adding it to the pot as well. Okay, so you just want to make sure you mix your coffee and your oil together and make sure you set it to a low temperature and you're just going to let it sit honestly, you can let it sit all day if you want to. I let mine sit for about an hour and a half, but definitely let it sit for at least like thirty minutes to an hour and make sure you occasionally stir it. I went and stirred it probably every 30 minutes if you'd like to make a larger batch. You can pour 2 cups of your favorite oil in the pan and then about a quarter cup of your whole coffee beans or a half a cup of your coffee powder. I cook it on low for about five to eight hours and you want to stir it about every hour, just to make sure that it doesn't burn um and you're just gon na strain it and store it in a dark place. But I'm about to show you how I strain mine in a second once you have allowed that to simmer on low. You either want to take a cheesecloth or if you have a coffee filter. You can use that as well and you're going to separate the oil from the coffee again, if you're using coffee beans. This step will be a whole lot easier, but I didn't do that. So I'm going to show you how I separated mine. So I'm going to be taking a mason jar and a piece of cheesecloth and I'm just gon na put the cheesecloth over over top of the mason jar and slowly pour my mixture over the cheesecloth and that's just going to catch all the coffee. And then all of the oil is going to drain into my jar. Coffee oil increases blood circulation in the scalp, it stimulates the roots of the hair. The oil promotes, moisture retention and absorption. Caffeine and coffee is great for your hair when it's applied topically to your hair or your scalp. It'S going to stimulate your roots by improving its structure and growth, it's going to restore your hair growth and prevent hair loss. If that is something you struggle with, it's going to make your hair shaft stronger, smoother and make it easier to manage, as well as giving it a natural shine, and it's also going to help with shedding caffeine when applied to your hair directly is absorbed by the Follicles, it makes them softer and shinier instantly. Another idea is that you can just brew the coffee and use it as a detangler. This helps makes your hair more manageable to make a hair mask as well, by adding a little honey, olive oil and coffee powder. I can do a hair rinse, you can do a leave-in, so I couldn't find my application bottle. So I'm just going to be using this old bottle that was empty and put my coffee oil in it. But if you just want to kind of dip your finger in but to me personally, a application bottle works best and then you're just going to apply it to your scalp and massage it in. You can also add this ear shampoo or to the water for a coffee rinse, it's not very strong smell, but it definitely has a hint of a coffee scent. I'M just gon na leave this in my hair for a few and I'm going to rinse it out again. There are so many ways to use it. You just have to find the way that works best for you, but, like I always say, do your research make sure you're doing what's best for you there's so much information about coffee and caffeine and its benefits to your hair. This is just a small snippet, and I'm just here to give you guys options just like there are a ton of different way to achieve a wash and go same thing pertains to the different ways to increase your hair growth. Just because I'm not using all of these methods all the time, it doesn't mean that it doesn't work, and it does not mean that it might not be a great option for you and so make sure you've got definitely do your research, but, like always, thank you Guys so much for watching I love you. I appreciate you and I will see you guys in my next video bye
