Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel, i hope you're doing good, as you can tell by the title of the video i'm really freaking nervous. Today. I'Ve got my mind set on it and i'm gon na go ahead with it. So basically, i'm gon na bleach, my entire head um and go fully blonde. Now i am a brunette, as you can see my natural hair color at the top. That'S actually my natural virgin hair color, like that hasn't been touched, um same color as my eyebrows as well, and then i balayaged my hair. It'S a little bit dead on the end, so i will need to chop the ends off and i balayage my hair about six months ago. It'S not looking as fresh as it was, and brad mondo if you're watching this video, because for some reason this has gone wrong, which it's like a 50 50 chance that this is gon na, go absolutely terribly hi um. I am using box dye on my hair today, box, bleach and then box dye to do a root tap, which is where you kind of bring the dark color downwards. So yeah, i'm gon na bring you guys along with me on my little hair journey and if it goes really really badly, i can just dye it back to being brown. I have no problem with that at all. I love my brown hair, i'm brunette through and through. I just wanted my blonde moment. So let's do this. Okay, just oops show you guys what my hair looks like now. This is a terrible angle. Let me put you on a tripod. Okay, you guys. This is the before so obviously, my hair needs a trim anyway, and that that i did this balayage myself about six months ago and the brown has like fully come through it's not as blended anymore, and it just needs a refresh, i think um so yeah. This is the before the bleach. I'Ve actually got four boxes of this, just in case i'm using the bleach london total bleach, because it's vegan and cruelty free and it's supposed to lighten your hair up to seven shades, so mine's kind of in between those two shades. There so hopefully it lightens it enough, but, as i said, i've got more if i need them. So let's get these open. I think this is one of their old packs, because the developing lotion doesn't say what volume it is, but i believe they use 30 volume. Don'T quote me on that, but i think they do so that's 30 volume developing lotion. I think um, two bleaching powders one of their reincarnation masks. My little gloves and their instructions always always make sure you read your instructions. Do patch tests all that kind of thing. If i can't have you, i don't want you to have so. If you didn't already know, you'll probably be able to tell by my terrible technique that i am not a professional at all um and i just partitioned. My hair took some thin strips. I started at the front because i wanted that to be really bright. I know some people start at the back because it's a bit harder to lift, but i started at the front and in the middle so that the orangey middle bits will lift first and then worked my way up to my scalp and used my fingers to kind Of smush it in and make sure that all the bleach got on every single hair one, and then it's this exact point here that i started to freak out that i had made such a bad decision. My hair was literally orange. I know you're supposed to lift it through the stages, but i thought it was gon na lift more and it was so bright orange, like literally cheesy whatsits on my head. So i was. I wanted to cry pretty much so so with bleach number two. I really just focused on evening out all those patchy brown bits near my scalp and just going over that orange again and trying to get it to lift, to yellow pale, yellow whatever i could literally get it to lift to. So i was pretty much regretting everything at this point. I had done the second bleach and it took it from a dark orange to this bright light yellowy orange that was even more noticeable and patchy all over. So i had to do a third bleach. Okay, last ditch attempt to rescue my hair, i'm going to use the pureplex, and i've only just noticed that it's permanent, but we're gon na just get through this, because the res and the reviews online are really really good for this one. So i've gone for the 10.21, which is lightest extra ash blonde and you get a 20 volume developer. You get the colorant and you also get the conditioner and the bond reconstruction treatment, which i heard is a good dupe for the olaplex. So i will let you guys know um that let's do this. Do i look like angelica doll? Oh did you want me to say? Yes? Yes, yes, you do. Okay, and this is the final result. Oh my god guys like i feel like i look so different. I feel like i've left hufflepuff house, i'm officially part of slytherin. I am a malfoy now or like maybe game of thrones. I'Ve never actually seen game of thrones, but, like i've got some ice cream thing going on. My hair is so light. Maybe, with the spring things like phillip schofield, so all in all, i don't think this is like one of brad mondo's hair bleach fail disaster videos, i hope not anyway. I think i've done an okay job considering this is like my first time literally going from my natural dark brown hair to this ashy platinum, blonde white gray, kind of thing going on. It'S definitely not perfect. There'S areas with blue there's a few like orange bits. A few yellowy bits, but overall it's pretty even and i'm very pleased with the results so i'll give you guys. My final thoughts in a second i'll also go through the processes of how i got to this final look in a second, even though you've just seen them i'll just run through them quickly as well, and also recommend some products to you guys, but just quickly. This isn't actually the final look for my hair. I'M going to be doing a separate video where i attempt to do a root tap a root smudge, a shadow root on my hair, so basically bring some brown in so that when my roots come in because my roots are literally as dark as my eyebrows they're Going to be pretty stripy, so i thought i'd give myself a nice shadow root and hopefully that's not a disaster, because, oh my gosh, that could go very wrong. So keep your eyes peeled for that video. Okay on to my thoughts, my first is: i don't think that this is my color. I don't know whether it's because i'm not used to this. I don't know whether, because my eyebrows are so dark, you can like see that that's my natural color, but i could lighten those and see what it looks like. But i don't know. Maybe when i have the shadow root, it would look a bit more natural, but at the moment it's just like a lot of blonde and i keep looking in the mirror like who is that? Secondly, i just would not recommend you guys bleaching your hair at home. Three times in a row like i did luckily i mean my mom's here she will attest to this. It'S not damaged it too much. What do you think mom? I think it looks really really healthy. I think you did a good job. Thank you. I mean i, my hair can sort of withstand a bit more doing to it, but obviously it's not without damage like there is some damage going on the night and will simplex treatment has really salvaged my hair and helped it kind of maintain this nice soft shine To it, but bleach is not something to be messed around with, and you can literally fry your hair off. You can damage your scalp like i, even though i've done it. I just wouldn't end endorse you guys doing it. That'S all i'm gon na say. Okay, now just to run through the process really really quickly. Just in case you guys skip the video onto this final part. I'Ll just tell you guys what i have done and i'll put some pictures on the screen, so you can kind of visualize it as well. So the first thing i did was take the total bleach from bleach london and put that on my head. I started here just on the brown parts of my hair. I didn't because the ends already blonde - this literally hasn't been touched, the entire time. So i started here and then i went up to my roots because obviously your roots are closer to your head, so they'll be warmer, meaning the bleach will process quicker. So i started here and after 45 minutes i washed that out dried. My hair, i used my dyson hair dryer, which i swear by because honestly it causes so much less damage. Then i went back in for my second round of bleach. I put that again here and here and i left that on for 30 minutes and important to note - i didn't actually use foils either time, which is why i feel like i had to do a third round of bleach, whereas if i had used foils, i probably Might have even got away with one bleaching session, maybe just two and because foils help your hair to lift quicker because they trap in the heat. But i didn't do that onto the day after i bleached for a third time. And yes, i know it sounds crazy, but there's a few areas like here. It hasn't even taken all of the yellow away, but there were just a few areas that were showing darker than others. So i just kind of spot bleached different areas that i felt needed. It - and i only left that on for 20 minutes and it really helped to just boost those areas and make them brighter. I then, after i'd washed, the bleach out dry, my hair again, i went in with the knight and wilson. I think it's number 10.21, it's their lightest extra ash, blonde hair dye, which i would swear by. I read the results: uh the reviews online and everyone was like this is a miracle worker and i always like to make up my own, obviously read reviews, but make your own mind up, and you guys it's. So it's like it's what made my hair. So i put that kind of all over and then just blended it down, and it took my hair from being like patchy, orange hair white hair, as you will see to like an all-over even color, it lifted the areas that were a little bit darker. It kind of just made everything match and it feels so soft the pureplex treatment that i used after so i washed out. I left that in for 15 minutes it says 45 minutes, but honestly, when it started to turn blue, i did a little strand test underwater. My hair was turning blue. That'S why i have a few areas of blue now, because it's literally like dyed, my hair blue. So i washed that out and applied the knight and wilson pureplex reconstruction mask, which is amazing. It'S an olaplex dupe. They sell it in boots and superdrug. I think you can get it online as well and it literally took my hair from feeling really dry like hay to super soft, like you can run a brush through it and not have any knots. It'S amazing. So it says: leave that on for 20 minutes and but i left on for an hour just so it can really penetrate my hair. So yeah i haven't done anything else. I haven't toned it. I do find toners really difficult to get hold of in the uk. You guys might have had a different experience than me, but i feel like in america, you can get like weather, toners and everything, and over here you have to be like licensed hairdresser to even access them. I might be wrong, i think you can get them on sally beauty, but don't quote me on that and but yeah that's literally all i've done and i'm gon na go ahead and do the shadow route in another video and finally, two product recommendations for you guys Because i've been through purple shampoos - and these are two of my absolute favorite products for blonde hair um, because obviously you guys know i have blonde in my hair before anyway. So this is the fudge professional sulfate free, clean blonde damage, rewind violet toning shampoo. This is literally the best toning shampoo i've ever used in my life. It takes away pretty much eighty percent, ninety percent of any brassiness in my hair and it tones it to a really nice like cool white. I literally leave it in for two minutes because it does have the potential to dye your hair purple and it's very strong stuff. I get this on amazon. It costs about eight pounds. It'S huge. You only need a tiny like ten pence piece a bit, so it lasts absolutely ages and moving on to this cutie. This is the bleach london pearlescent, shampoo, toning shampoo, with an iridescent hue, and i'm not lying. When i say this makes your hair look so pretty, and if you leave it on for too long, it can dye your hair pink a little bit i'll leave a picture on the screen of me with the pink hair using this shampoo. But i get this from boots: you can buy it online i'll link both of these down below and if you leave this on for, like a minute or two honestly, it just takes your hair to such a beautiful pearly color. I just can't even explain it's just so pretty um, so i'd highly recommend both of these. You need to check these out if you have any blonde or any brassiness in your hair 100, so i'll link them down below you guys. I can't stop staring at myself in the viewfinder, so i was actually crying the other day because it's my birthday in two days - and i was just so worried that my hair was just going to be literally this. So, oh, i just put a bit of hair in my mouth from my brush um, but yeah. No, even though it's not perfect, it's not the end result either. I'M so happy with the outcome. It'S like so different. I just don't even feel like. I look like myself right now um, but i'm allowing myself to have this like ice blonde moment before i go back to brown. Inevitably, but yeah do, let me know if you like it. If you don't, please be nice, and i will see you guys in my next video. I hope you all have a wonderful day. I hope you all stay safe. Follow me on instagram subscribe. Everything is down in the down bar do also. Let me know if you try out any of my product recommendations. I love this and yeah. I will see you next time. Bye, everyone, you

Naomi Victoria: ❤ Ive had quite a few comments on this video thinking I didn't do this myself... honeys this was 100% done at home by me, and my younger sister trimmed my ends! At the time I filmed this there were no hair salons open anyway (although I haven't actually been to a hair salon in 3+ years!) One year later my hair is still recovering from the damage bleaching it 3x in a short period of time, but it was the only way I could achieve the end result (alongside the knight and wilson pureplex which I didn't actually realise also has a lifting agent in oopsie!) I hope this has helped some of you... bleach your hair at your own risk but I still love how this turned out and id love to go back to blonde again someday!! I just need my hair to grow out and recover first

Yuvi ex Machina: Not a fail at all. The colour has nice dimensions. I personally like dark eyebrows + bleached hair.

winterrrsea: Definitely not a fail! Brad calls so many things fails then acts shocked when it looks good. He's not the nicest tbh, it can be super fun and easy to do hair at home but ofc he wants to suggest otherwise bc he wants people to pay him up the yinyang for the same services lol.

Beth: Your current end phase looks insane on you. The grey tone looks amazing with your skin tone and eyes well done x

Jessica Mariche: Tip: always start in the back so then when you reach your crown, you can rinse. Then do your roots in the back. While the roots in the back develop, you can work on the sides. Then your roots on the sides. Rinse after 30 minutes, then retouch or use toner.

Cheryl Anne: This is EXACTLY the video I have been waiting for. Thank you so much for going through the steps and the products. I can't wait to get started. You look amazing by the way. I think the colour absolutely suits you. You look very Nordic ;) New sub here!

Sonya Dyson: Your hair looks amazing and it suits you very well. This video made me bleach my orange hair. (I had all the same reactions when I first tried) but watching this made me feel it is perfectly normal. I'm happy with how my hair turned out ☺️thanks so much

Natasha Sears: I think it’s looks lovely. It really suits you ! I have dark eyebrows and I’m naturally blonde. Your eyebrows don’t look that dark or strange against your hair. You’ve done a lovely job. I’ve gone brunette 6 weeks ago and starting to really miss my platinum blonde hair. Your hair has come out a beautiful multi tonal blonde . This is making me what to go back blonde again, the. I’ll feel like me again. Thank you for this video xx

Mari Totoro: My hair journey has basically been like yours, so I’m glad to see I’m on the right path. I’m gonna try out that ash blonde dye you used.

McKenzie Fowles: This looks absolutely stunning on you!!! Great job babes!

너의 존재가 내 힘이야BTS ARMY: This could NEVER be a fail even if you loose all the hair DID YOU SEE THAT FACE?! That’s a win win girl

Tammie Parrish Miller: I was cringing! You did everything wrong and yet it still turned out pretty well. NEVER start on the top. ALWAYS start at the nape. You got sooooo lucky! I'm happy for you!

clipinqueen: I think you did a great job and look great with that colour! I do the same with my hair and I do notice that once I darken/colour tape my roots, everything just blends and looks more natural. Sometimes, I like the striking bright blonde roots and sometimes I don't! LOL. Thanks for the vid.

Kayla Orr: Thank you for making this video !! I have grown out balayage so my roots and mid is brown and the mid lengths to ends are blonde and I wanna go full blonde so good to see someone with semi dyed hair already review bleach London

GeMmALoUandPoPPyToo Xxx: You suit the blonde so much!!! You’ve done a great job!

Spaghetti N Pizza: That is a gorgeous color! I wish I can achieve this myself

Fawn Krystal: I thought you looked absolutely stunning you did an amazing job for box dye and doing it at home there was a few patches of yellowy orange but all in all I thought you did a really good job blonde suits you every color I seen suited you honestly you looked absolutely gorgeous when I did my hair at home blonde or actually my husband did it my hair was falling out and it turned clear it was like noodles it was horrible so I say you did good

Siham aoudj: I absolutely love the end result ❤️ How long did you wait to bleach your hair from the first to the second bleach and from the second to the third bleach ? I am super dark naturally and I am hoping to bleach my hair then dye it to a very light brown what product would you recommend for bleaching and for going to a light brown after the bleaching? X

Shirley L: Its so beautiful, you did a really great job!!♡

joyclyn hope: It looks amazing! You look so good with blonde hair

TheBassgoddess: Pretty good for your first attempt at bleaching! The end result has some nice multi-tone effects. Thanks for sharing.

Cheryl Q: When you bleach your hair, you should always use a good toner to remove the yellowy orange, brassy tones. Saves over bleaching.

shell Lsa: I wish i had the courage to do this, It looks amazing!!

Romina Witschnig: Wow!! It looks absolutely amazing I think the colour suits you so well! I'll definitely try the Knight&Wilson Pureplex, too because I also have some slightly orange/yellow patches in my hair.

Marissa Fox: Whew girl! Firstly the end result is bangin'! I admit I was getting nervous when you immediately bleached for the 2nd time. The 3rd time I was hoping you had a good result and that your hair didn't fall out nonetheless it's beautiful!

Lisa-Marie Shanley: Hairdresser here.... Next time, section before you mix up your product! The product starts oxidising once it's mixed so if not used straight away you're losing maximum lightening effect. Other than that... Good job!

lovely IRISH: I'm 56 now and I use to bleach blonde my hair when I was younger.....a long time ago!! But I never looked as beautiful as you do! Your hair is gorgeous. I could never have got away with colouring my hair so many times to correct it because I have very curly dry hair that I do straighten. I'd love to have blonde highlights but no way could I do it myself....I'd end up looking like a big carrot !!

Katie Logan: Gosh I love it this color fits you perfectly! Wonderful job love!

Vicky Andrews: That colour suits you . You look fab I have diyed my hair blonde many times with damage . But this colour you used is amazing. I'm literally doing it. I already ordered that colour

Aprilautumn: It looks amazing! ✨

Athena Syed: In terms of toners you should check out the Bblonde ones! They’re also available in boots and they’re really really good, I’m icy blonde due to them x

Kelly Munsen: I think that the color looks really really great! It goes with your personality!!

Esther Bittencourt: Já estou até me preparando psicologicamente para poder arrumar o meu cabelo sozinha tbm

Nastasha D: Your hair looks so nice and still healthy

Mirella Gragirena: I actually really liked what you had at first! Thats what I wouldike to have as I'm a natural brunette too. I love rhose really blonde ends with really dark roots x

Queen GiGi: Hair looks so good on you !!!!

Sian Hayleigh: I think you should keep it like that! It's beautiful x

Bibinek: Omg this is best dark to blonde video I've seen. It looks so natural and pretty and you look like a doll in it. This suits you so much

Angie Thomas: You look so good as a blonde! Looks beautiful

Fiolet Skye: You're so pretty! It looks so good and healthy

thewatercolourdiaries: Love the result! About to go bleach my hair now

Tiffany Shaw: That looks amazing !!

Cheryl Lockwood: Love it you did so great, gonna try your product recommendations thanks girl

Jessica Greene: I know it seems so simple: but I love how you used one hand for painting/smudging, etc, and the other strictly to separate. I always end up getting bleach all over my gloves (both) and transferring it to places I never wanted bleach to start with SMH! I am just inpatient and need to slow down...LOL I also want to go higher up on my head, but I don’t want to overprocess my ends. I appreciate this video showing me it can be done, and to expect orange the 1st time!! LOL I’m going to rewatch a couple times. <3

Cely Aguirre: Your Hair came out AMAZING

gigi xo: Suits you so much! Welcome to the silver side dark eyebrows look lovely with light hair

mallory murphy: Omg you make me wanna do this so bad to my hair...ive never lightened my hair before and am dying to now after seeing yours

MommaTalks: I literally love your hair before, and after but the before was 100000% you, you killed that look

marisa: the way you literally have the loveliest voice ever!!! i felt so calm watching this video

Shannon Murray: You look so pretty with this hair!

Hilda Franco: Your hair and color looks great!!!!

Chelsea Chels: This came out so GOOOOD !!!

Killa Fonic: Thank you for this video, but giiiiiirl, how can you even consider going back to brown after all that work and everything you've put your hair trough?!? AND you look great as a blonde, not everbody does. Get a shadow root and maintain that effing blonde for as long as you possibly can. Don't you dare undo all that by going back to brown. I hope you didn't already.

sa ra: Compared to my repeated failed attempts to do this to my hair your results look like a 7* colour specialist done it

Gracie-Mae Steele: I love it looks gorgeous

Morton Vizner: Looks fabulous!

Katarzyna Pucyk: Looks amazing ❤️

Carina Frattini: I really, really like it! It’s so pretty!

Sun dancer: You so pretty I'm so pleased it worked out. I use to use loreal blonde shine which gave a lovely pearl, they discontinued. Iv just ordered the fudge London one you suggested

G: Girl…. It looks so good!!!!

Jasmine Deschamps: Hi your hair is awesome GREAT job ❤️seriously it sucks we’re on lockdown in Ontario Canada and I have curly orange hair Quick question how long did you wait in between bleaching? It wasn’t all in one day right?

Danikah Smith: Omg that looks so good on you!

Pixxie__: Wow it turned out so good in the end and suits you a lot!

Tally from the Valley: Your hair looks great! I also love your voice ❤️

Nicole Ament: You look GORGEOUS with that blond.

Sophia Valentina Romano: PS, your dark eye brows go really well with your hair colour

Jessica Smith-tuan: Great job. It looks great on you.

Sophie Masters: Oh my gosh you’re so brave!!! . It’s turned out so well though! You really suit it! ❤️ xxx

P C: It looks great! you're soooo pretty btw :)

Exquisite Glow: I love it it looks so good

ALICE GOLDENVALLEY: I love it!! Did you do a root smudge in the end? I have been planning my blonde moment for so long and that hair dye was what I still needed to make sure I am okay thanks!

Mia Honey: I've bleached my hair from black, brown and auburn many times and the best method is to bleach, apply a very greyish ash blonde, bleach again and then use purple shampoo.

Christine Mai: Did you apply the 1st, 2nd and 3rd bleach at the same time or you wait each of the bleach few days later? Thanks. Your hair looks amazing awesome!

Jane Daley: Really nice! Though you would look really great with curls with hair that color and length. Small to medium even, and well-defined curls throughout your whole head would rock on you! Have you ever thought about getting a perm? They're rapidly becoming the next big thing! I would really think about getting one!

oriana blair: I want to go blond your giving me the courage I need lmaoooo

se. I.: Your hair suits you sooo well!! Your eyebrows doesn't matter!

Jui X: your all over blonde looks awesome!

Vicki Hansen: I love the end color and I think you look soo stunning blonde

My CustomPainted Life: Love Love it! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that brand . I’m using Wella t11 and I haven’t dried it but I wish I had that toner!

Scotti: Love the final result - did you do the bleach 3 times & then used the Pureplex ? Or was the Pureplex the 3rd bleach? Sorry, I’m confused from the video & want to have a go .. thanks

Shauna Lynn: Your hair looks lush

Hellsbells: I wouldn’t recommend the pureplex conditioner I tried it and I’m surprised it’s got such good reviews, doesnt beat Aussie 3 minute miracle and ensure you use disposable gloves with fudge shampoo otherwise you will have blue fingernails

Tati Kay: I think it turned out freaking great !

J Nako: U could of just put a violet toner on it after your first bleach application and u wouldn’t of had to bleach it 3 times !! There are so many other options to fix brassy but processing 3 times in one day is not one of them. It will look good for a month or two but you’ll start to see the real damage after about three months! good luck!

Ally Butler: Omg it looks so good on u!!

Maz Stone: Hey! So impressed with this! I've struggled to get toner too in the UK but gonna try the pureplex instead!

Carol McAfee: The blonde is amazing on you!

Yajaira Saucedo: I want my hair like your before omg if only you recorded it it would’ve helped me so much

Taylor Eaton: I once had platinum blonde hair. I got sooo many compliments on it but I just didn't feel right with it!

Juliankha: I used box die and got my hair an incredible color. Went to do root touch up and color did not lift at all. Same color/brand. Called company and they said yes that happens. Its only got 1 level of lift. Then why did it come up the color on the box the 1st time on virgin hair? No problems. So there must be wild differences in product in each bottle. I think there is no quality assurance there. Each batch different. Go to a salon.

Cely Aguirre: I’m from California and I just did the same thing but my came out yellow because I didn’t do all those extra steps you did smartly lol I will do so right know thank you for sharing I’m also new to you channel and also subscribed!!

Daniela Veiga C.: You look really good, do not bleach ur brows doe. And just use some toning shampoo and the hair will get a even better color

AbicadoAvocado: Heya guys just a really big warning for box dyes from a person who studies hairdressing xx it's very important you avoid box dyes incase they contain metalic salts. Metalix salts are used for the oxidising process for the dyes and is used cause its a cheap ingredient so its usually in box dyes. Metalic salts are very reactant. If you have pre existing box dye colour in your hair and try mix it with any products in a salon aka if you wanna go get your hair done. If an incompatibility test isn't done before dying again or bleaching or using any form of peroxides you have a very high chance of DISINTAGRATING YOUR HAIR and causing chemical burns on your scalp. So just check to see if the box dye contains metalic salts by doing an incompatibility test xx. To do this test take some of the pre existing box dye colour which has already been placed on a sample of hair and place this hair sample in a solution mixed using 6vol peroxide and a little bit of perm lotion x if within 15 mins the hair starts to fizz or heats up or bubbles then please please avoid the box dyes xx

Ольга Нестеренко: I always dreamed of being a blonde, and finally the dream came true. But a week after painting, a yellow color began to appear. I was very upset, but a friend recommended an excellent Purple Hair Mask from the Vaite brand. After three applications, the yellow tint was gone.

Leah Higginson: I think this colour is sooooo nice!

Queen Be Vlogs: Just came across your content and I love it your so pretty!

Carol-Ann Lamothe: Looks GREAT !!
